Big Brother 13: Double Trouble & 3 Shocking Surprises
Happy Friday, BB Lovers! ✩6✩ more days til Big Brother 13!!! Can you believe it?? Well, we met our houseguests and learned about the 1st twist yesterday... & 4th of July weekend is upon us, so it must be true!
In case you haven't see it yet, the CBS ad department released this new commercial yesterday, giving the tv only viewers their first glimpse of the new crop of critters.
In it, Julie Chen says, "Double Trouble Comes Knockin'." The announcer says, "The new house guests will be given 3 shocking surprises." Personally, I think they're referring to the 3 pairs of BB Alumni who will fill out our roster of BB 13 HGs, but you know what they say...
Expect the Unexpected.

Hi Carolyn! I am so excited for this season of Big Brother 13. I was reading on another website that some of the duos they show on the CBS website are just red herrings. CBS is trying to throw us off on purpose. I don't know if that is true. I haven't signed up for the live feeds yet but i definitely will before the 7th. Of course i will sign up through your site :)

I got my early bird special, through here of course, and I'm ready. I am not all that thrilled with the twist. Besides Jeff and Jordan and don't want to see any of those former HGs. If Jesse is on the show again this year I may have to not watch the feeds until he is gone. With Michelle too, oh dear god shoot me now.
If I have to choose from them though I pick Jeff/Jordan, Evel Dick/Dani and Enzo/Hayden. I can tolerate them.
PS You'll have to get a new pic of Dani, she's brunette now.

If you look at the HG’s selected to come back, they are some of the best physical and mental competitors in the history of Big Brother. Here is my take on the duo’s… (And yes there are some HG’s exceptions to my list)
Danielle – She is easily one of the best physical competitors.
Dick - He obviously wasn’t the nicest player but it was all game play, and quite frankly worked for him. Plus he won his fair share of comps.
Will – He is the puppet master, never having to win a comp. IMO the best mental player of all time.
Boogie - He did good in Season 7 comp wise but also wasn’t a threat because he was voted out so early in Season 2, so no one really took him seriously at the beginning of S7.
Rachel – You can say what you want about her personality and her laugh and I know most don’t like her but in the game (Season 12 that is) there was no one smarter, she got blinded by Brenden and that was the downfall in her game. But her strategic talk was always spot on, plus she won the only two HoH’s that she could individually play for
Brenden – Since him and Rachel are no more in that “puppy love” phase I think combining his physical strength and her mental strength would be a deadly combo if they could find an alliance.
Jeff – He was a very smart game player, if it was not for him Jordan never would have won that season or made it as far as she did. Plus he was a great competitor, and could have won more comps but threw them to Jordan.
Jordan – Although Jeff did most of work in this duo she used her charm and innocence to sneak into the final four where then she got exactly where she needed to be and rocked the comps.
Jessie – Never in my life do I want to see him back on BB. Now that is out of the way, I am well aware he wants to be a professional wrestler and builds up his cockiness and, well, ridiculousness (is that a word?) up on TV. But he is one smart guy, if it wasn’t for Jeff’s power in Season 11; I firmly believe Jessie would have easily won.
Natalie - She can lie, not well, but she can. Her and Jessie were a good pair in the begining, until he kind of started to despise her lol. I don’t know if this duo would even work together.
Hayden – Great physical competitor! I would like to see how he does in the game with a target on his back.
Enzo – He was just awful at comps and the mental aspect of the game. Maybe CBS thought he would bring in ratings? (Which he might) But I can’t stand his cheating and disrespect of the rules while being a have –not. I think Lane would have been at better pair to Hayden.
Good Morning all...hopefully they enter the house this weekend and we can get some information leaks if i remember correctly bb11 jessie entering the house leaked when he came back in the day he did...so hoping and praying we get some info this weekend and hoping (although am seriously doubting) for a chilltown reentrance!

Good morning all! A special shout out to RedRhonda and Tucker, (my favorite nephew with the best big wet sloppykisses in the world.)
Now that I have my Superpass, I made it through all the interviews and I have my favorites already. I also have my dislikes but that can wait for another post.
In order of appearance:
Shelly Moore : I like her maturity, her straightforwardness, her attitude about the game and the love she showed for her husband and 8 year old daughter... and much more. I hope and think she will go far. For now I would like to see hr take it all. She also said she is from Baton Rouge though her hometown is listed as somewhere in PA. Baton Rouge is 70 miles away. That makes her my homegirl.
Lawon Exum: I think my gaydar went off which always puts a houseguest at the top of my list. Love his humor, and I think if he falls in with the right group he will go far.
Dominic Briones: Purely for the eye candy factor which is severely lacking in this cast for me. Unfortunately I don't feel him making it far, probably not even to jury.
Cassi Colvin: She's originally from Allen, TX, now just another suburb of Dallas. I'm a native but rarely admit it, but for her I will. I think she's got staying power.

Ok guys...I have a guess on one of the surprises. Please know...I'm not mentioning this to be a hater, stir controversy or get attn. I even posted it on another site & tweeted Kass my thoughts.
I so desperately want to be on BB. I have applied 8 times...been a semi finalist 3...& am envious of those chosen. When the cast was announced yesterday, I had a particular interest in Shelly. Mostly because that is my name ...same spelling & all. When I went to read her bio..it was hella weird for me to see "Shelly CBS bio" & it not be me!! :) I am a lesbian...something I like to say they have never cast. I discount Ivette for her attachment to men. Lol. Ok...I'm digressing. So...my community...LGBT (Lesbian, Bi, Gay, Transsexual)...has mostly been represented on BB by the token gay male. I dare to say....I believe we have our 1st "T"...in Shelly. As I watched her interviews on WLBB, SuperPass & CBS....there is something striking me. I PROMISE I am not bashing her. I truly believe she is MTF trans. On Superpass one of the things she felt would be too extreme was to sleep with "another dude"...another? Maybe she meant besides her husband. I will be very proud of CBS if my speculation is right...& apologetic if I'm wrong...but I am intrigued by Shelly...for more than one reason. :)

Morning all! What are you all thinking about the twists this season? I am liking it, but I hope these newbies don't become "star"stuck (I use star loosely there, lol) and follow the former HG's blindly. I feel like everyone and their mother love Dick and if he can get a few of these new people around his finger, he may be an unstoppable force in the house. As long as some of these new HG's can come out and fight on their own and not be intimidated by the former HG's, I think we'll have an amazing season on our hands!

I don't like all star shows or anything with old house guests mixed. I want to get to know a new batch of critters. The occasional guest appearances are fine.But i really prefer all newbies. Plus I don't think it's really fair.
I'm back after a very long day of panty hose (actually Danskin tights) and makeup, (darn I run out of evrything at once) and a bit of food stuff. It's been a long day.

I watched the video with Allison Grodner and liking this less, but seeing some of the 'duos' still tweeting I have to hope certain ones aren't in sequester, as AG says they are.

Lezbionic I had the same thoughts as you as I started watching Shelly's interview, but I didn't consider Transgender. In the beginning I thought Lesbian and was liking the idea. By the end, I decided just a bit Type A personality and one I really like. Time will tell. Right now she is my favorite for the win.

Hello Carolyn, Countdown is shorter to the day. STudying up on my house guests. Watching videos now. I'm not sure if this should be fair to bring old hgs back. They're are alot of fans that would love to get on the show.Y couldn't they put the NEWBIES/them in those 6 other slots. y do this "old hgs back"thing again. They all had there chance and some of them already won money-/Jordan/dick/ Will/Bogie/Hayden.
I just watched the housguests interviews on the live feeds but before I go into that I just want to say. I THINKS ITS REALLY REALLY UNFAIR, that there are millions of fans that would love to be on the show,play the game but A.G.production and staff said, "Hey instead of doing more new house guests/"Newbies"/new fans on the show, to fill the last 6 slots,,let's give the old house guest a "SECOND" chance at the show/game. It actually makes me mad.THEY'VE ALREADY HAD THEY'RE FREAKIN CHANCE.Besides the duo's they are bring back, most of them have won the money already.so it is a waste of there time, and ours. cause we would love to get A FIRST CHANCE.That's not a twist. If they want a twist, how about us/us fans/ get to VOTE OUT one of the evicties, from Nominations,like how we get to vote out on Amrican idol constestant.Okay done venting about that.
On to the house guests.I like and loved Shelly, and Cassie. I was surprised about Dominic-He won't win.He's actually not that bad though. Keith was alright. He won't win. Porsche, and Kalia, Im not sure about. I don't like Lawon and Adam. Movin on. That
s my thoughts. looks are decieving though, so we will wait and see.Im sure my thoughts will change as game goes on.
