Big Brother 13: The Overnight Report

Good Morning, BB Lovers! Happy Tuesday!

While I dive into the flashback machine on the live feeds and get the Overnight Report together, I have a few little temptations for you. ;)

Dani joins the group, and Jeff briefly interrogates her about her beer consumption.

Kalia: Know what I'm worried about? Getting backdoored.
Jordan: I feel like I'm goin' crazy, worrying about what people are gonna do. You're at least guaranteed jury.
Kalia: Which is fine.
Jordan: I'm just thinkin', what if Dominic wins HoH and then you win the veto? omg, it's like...
Kalia: Honestly, if I'm on the block next week, I would probably not try to win the Veto, because I would know I'm safe.. and as much as I like him, I don't want him in the game anymore. He also could be completely lying to me, but he's always like, "Oh, we got this, Boo. We're in."
Jordan: Well, it all depends who wins next week.
Kalia: That's why I can't go for it, cuz I need to be on the block next week.
Jordan: I think other people, though, they just don't know who they can trust.
Kalia: I think there are 3 people I can trust... Shelly told Cassi to campaign.. Like, I don't think Shelly would mind going home.
Jordan: I love both of em. I felt bad.
Kalia: They're both very sweet, but unfortunately it's not about who you like.
Jordan: It's about making it far.
Kalia: Once we're in singles, please don't put me up. If I win HoH, I wont put you up.
Jordan: I promise you. I pinkie swear. But I'm terrible at competitions.
Kalia: You need to give yourself more credit.

Shelly: We'll gettem.
Jordan: Jeff's like, she better not change... and we better talk to Shelly so we can make sure we're all on the same page.

Cassi: She has been kind to me today. I'll say that for her.
Shelly: Well, that's good.
Cassi: She's been really sweet to me today. I had a nice little pow-wow with Porsche. Told her no hard feelings. Had a nice talk with Brendon.

Shelly: Yeah, I came out when you were talking to Brendon.
Cassi: Well, at that point we had moved on, but we talked about the thing in the kitchen.

Shelly: Did he apologize?
Cassi: mm hmm. They both did.

Shelly: Well, that's good.
Cassi: I had to start it.. I just said, I don't wanna leave here with any bad feelings with anyone..
Lawon: I think Dom's just playin' the game now, which is good. That's the way I look at it.
Shelly: There's only one duo left to be put up (on the newbie side).
Lawon: I get put on the block, I'ma fight.. Just thinking about all the paperwork I had to fill out.. everything you had to go through just to get here.. I'ma fight... And I realize now, that what Keith did.. It's a game.. and who's to say that he didn't do that to benefit himself in the game..

Pillow Fight!


They knock over a lamp, which earns them a "Stop That!" from BB. They stop for a couple minutes, but only to plot how they'll attack the next person who walks into the room.. or Rachel.. whichever comes first.

Brendon: Code word: "Can someone hand me a pillow?"
Dominic: Then just open fire!

It's a fun flashback moment. Cassi: I don't know if she's just in a state right now, or if she's bein' legit, but she's like countin' votes and..
Lawon: Who's counting votes?
Cassi: Shelly. Like she wants me to stay.
Lawon: Huh? Like she wants you to stay?
Cassi: I even went to her a minute ago, and I was like, don't talk like that. You'r enot ready to leave, and she goes (makes a face).. so I don't know if she's just in a state right now, or if she's actually thought about it.
Lawon: I asked her today. She says she doesn't wanna go home, but she misses her family.
Cassi: I don't know what to do.
Lawon: Well, talk to her.
Cassi: If she said she was absolutely ready to go, then I would make an effort to stay, but I don't want her to make that decision out of emotion.
Lawon: Right.
Cassi: And not mean it.
Lawon: Talk to her.

Jordan joins them.

Cassi: Well, I told her. It's been a long day... get some sleep and see how you feel tomorrow. (pause) This did feel like the longest day ever.
Lawon: It did.
Cassi: Doesn't it feel like days ago that we woke up?
Jordan: mm hmm. Yeah. Is everybody in bed?
Cassi: Just Kalia, Adam and Shelly. I asked if my dad could come Thursday... They said no. I just don't wanna get out there and break down, and I know if I see his face, I'll be ok.

Lawon goes inside.


Jordan: Well, I'm sorry.
Cassi: I know you are. Don't worry about it.
Jordan: Me and Jeff talked about it and the whole thing is...
Cassi: Well, I've been debating it all day.. I made amends with Brendon. We talked and we both apologized and stuff.. and Rachel's been sweet to me all day... and I even pulled Porsche aside and... I even said to her, I know that I put up a wall at the sight of the first red flag.. I know that's a problem of mine. And it's just been an emotional day. Shelly's telling me to campaign, and I told her, I told you from the start.. I told you day 3 when you and I hit it off and had a long talk. That was our biggest thing was just gettin' through duos.
Jordan: It sucks! It's like, if there was no golden key, then I could put up Adam and someone else. But it's like, I've got Lawon and Kalia and you and Shelly... It was like, if I put up Lawon, then everybody would be like, you flipped, why did you do that?
Cassi: I understand.
Jordan: I think Rachel was nervous during the ceremony, about what I was gonna do, because I didn't talk to her about it.
Cassi: Yeah, she looked nervous. But like, even today, after all that, I was even kind of saying goodbye, and they were like, don't.. And I was like, I'm not bein' negative, I'm just being real.
Jordan: I know it sucks, because me and Jeff really want you here, and we think we could go really far with you and Shelly.
Cassi: Do you think it's worth me talking to people tomorrow?
Jordan: It's not over til..
Cassi: I mean, I wont campaign against Shelly, but..
Jordan: ..Julie says, You've been evicted.
Cassi: That's the thing. I don't wanna campaign against Shelly. I wanna keep my integrity. But at the same time, she keeps encouraging me all day to do it.. and I don't know if she's just saying it to be sweet, or if she's ready to go home... I want her blessing, if that's gonna be the case. Until about 4 hours ago, I had made peace with it, but everyone keeps getting in my ear.. I didn't come here to win half a million dollars.. I just want a chance to stick around a while.. If I were to go out week 6 and get to be in the jury house, I'd be fine with that...

Jordan's sweet and encouraging, but Cassi's fate is just about sealed...

Rachel: Fortune teller, tell me my fortune...
Lawon: How do you feel about the game?
Rachel: Good.. um.. I think I have a huge target on my back.
Lawon: Do you?
Rachel: Yeah, cuz I'm competitive and because I need to learn how to shut my mouth.. so that gives me a big target. (whispers) I think the right people are here and the right people are leaving.
Lawon: I hate to say it.. I always listen to what you tell me.. because I know you throw me hints and stuff.. I just want you to know, I appreciate everything you do for me.
Rachel: Yeah, for sure.
Lawon: I know I don't have to talk to you for an hour or 2 hours to let you know that..

Rachel: This next HoH.. I really want to win it, because I want to EAT... and I can't unless I get the HoH basket. What do you think it's gonna be? A quiz?
Lawon: I think so.. But I want you to know, and Brendon too, I Got you, and I hope it's the same for you...
Rachel: For sure.
Lawon: ..'cause I wanna go far in this game... and i know I'm gonna need you and Brendon's help, because you are competitors.
Rachel: I'm just concerned because I have a huge target on my back. But, it is what it is.
Lawon: You'll work it out. I have faith in you..
Rachel: Thank you. I'm glad how it worked out this week..

Talk turns to the voting.. Rachel says she thinks it'll be a unanimous vote to evict Cassi...

Rachel: ..but I don't know, 'cause I haven't talked to Jordan and Jeff about it yet.

Lawon promises to vote how she and Brendon want... whatever that turns out to be..

Lawon leaves, and Rachel turns to leave as well, but then decides to spend some time really checking out the fortune teller... She turns to include the rest of the details in the purple room in her study... the hanging pictures.. picking up the books on the counter... etc...

After a couple minutes, she sits down, no less intense in her examination of the room details...

Jordan wishes she's done her nominations differently. She wishes she'd put Shelly and Cassi up first, so she could've backdoored Dominic.

Jeff: Yeah, I wish f'in whatsername was sticking around, because it's like, more ammo for us, ya know?
Jordan: uh huh
Jeff: but.. whatever.. what I wish woulda happened was we tried harder on that veto, then Dominic was going home. Where did this big brother little sister thing come from?
Jordan: Now she's all buddy buddy with him. You need to try to win HoH.
Jeff: And put up Lawon.
Jordan: And backdoor him.
Jeff: Backdoor who?
Jordan: Dominic.
Jeff: Yeah, I could do that.
Jordan: I hope they don't.. They have Dani, Dominic and Porsche.. I mean, even if I did, it wouldn't have been good either way..
Jeff: What I don't like is that they got their way. Hopefully we're still on the same team.
Jordan: You got anything for me?
Jeff: mm nothin.
Jordan: That hammock out there is so peaceful..
Jeff: mm hmm

While we have sleeping HGs on 1 and 2, Lawon and Cassi are still up, talking game, and trying to figure out how she can stay in the house...


Cassi: I thought well, I can just wait on the votes, but there's no way without me talking to people.. I don't wanna go. It's not that I wanna stay and win the money... I just wanna be here.
Lawon: I want you here.
Cassi: If it were just for me, I'd be ok with that, but I feel like my dad would be devastated.. He got so excited about me coming.. This is all my parents have to be excited about right now. They've got a son in jail. My dad's unemployed. You know what I mean? They're struggling.

At the mention of her brother in jail, we go briefly to palm trees...

Lawon: We'll all be individuals.. RIght now, we're all couples... I'm not dumb.. I throw my hands up.. I got 2 weeks to be a couple.. and that day, it's on. And that day, I'll let the people I trust know what I know.. In 2 weeks, you're gonna say, this m-f'er's crazy. I just.. I gotta think it's a blessing and a curse.. I'm glad what happened between me and Keith happened.. I understand where you're coming from. You last this week, it's only 1 more week of couples, then game on. If I get to the jury house, to really tell these people how I feel about them, I won. I wanted to be buck wild in here, but you can't.
Cassi: I'd like to stick around to see it.

As I write, it's now 8:25am BBT, and Shelly's up, per usual. She's been outside for a while, having her coffee and smoking... At the moment, she's tidying up the purple room.. nope, now she's tiding the living room pillows.. The rest of the HGs are still sleeping...
