Big Brother 13: The Overnight Report

Good Morning, BB Lovers!! Happy Friday!! It's a big day in the BB13 house! The HGs will have their Have/Have Not Comp, and Nominations... as well as all the HoH meetings that lead up to it! Keep your eyes on the live feeds!

In case you missed it last night, at the end of the episode, Julie Chen said, "Which duo will Rachel nominate for eviction, and which celebrity will be surprising the house guests? Find out Sunday at 8."

OK.. So the celebrity will be popping in either today or tomorrow. So far I've heard speculation that it'll be Ashton Kutscher, who'll be joining the cast of Two and a Half Men, or Kevin Dillon "Johnny Drama" from Entourage.

Julie went on to say, "I'll be back one week from tonight for the next live eviction. Plus, see how a change in the game will force everyone to rethink their strategy."

Hmm.. Something new cooking with the Golden Keys, perhaps? Is one of the evicted HGs getting brought back? Does the 4th Golden Key, yet to be awarded, ultimately hold the most power of all? We shall see!

We had a disher in the audience at the Live Show last night, and here's what she reports back:

I just got home from show and wanted to say hello..

Cassie is so beautiful in person, and tiny..

BB always does an after show interview with evicted houseguests to show the next day on the Early show..they did not do it this time...hmmm

Also someone asked the producer(also the voice of BB) if the fortune teller had anything to do with the game and he said to ask ED..that ED was flying somewhere over Nasa..I have no idea what that means or if it means anything, but I am throwing it out there..

Julie looked great, but seemed to have a tummy...she was asked if she had any faves, and she said yes, several, and then she said the ones that play the game..

It was a great show, lots of fun..

Rachel's HoH Reveal

After the sneak attack Pillow Fight, everyone heads up for Rachel's HoH Reveal. Among other things, she got a Tiesto CD, Sushi, Wine, Monster Coffee, and Lean Cuisines in her HoH basket and fridge... Having been on slop because of the PoV debacle, Rachel is extra appreciative and happy.

She sits down to read her letter from home... This one's from her little sister, who is also recently engaged.


Rachel: Oh my gosh. I'm so excited. "Rachel, I can't believe it's only been a few weeks since we've been together.. We are all rooting for you and Brendon.. Rach, you are beautiful, energetic and wonderful.. I am so proud of all your accomplishments..." I don't know why I'm getting emotional. It's from my sister.

Continuing the letter... "I'm so excited to start planning our Bachelorette parties. I think a cruise will be awesome. I'm excited about your Bridal Shower in Vegas. That was such a thoughtful gesture. I'm going to plan your family bridal shower, now that you have finally registered... I have the perfect theme and setting. I am so ready for this next chapter in our lives. As you can imagine, I cannot wait to marry, as I'm sure you can't wait to marry Brendon... I had the best time when you were here. It was definitely not long enough. It flew by and I miss you so much now... We all love you. Always keep your head held high and a smile on your face. I love you lots and lots, your little sis."

Shelly: I told her, you keep saying you want to change people's perception of you, but what you're doing is not.

Jordan: Right.
Shelly: I said, when you guys scream and yell.. You guys are wiping the floor with everyone in competitions... It hurts other people when they don't win. I told her, when you go to your HoH room, I said, "Don't go in there and go oh, me again.. Ask people what they want. Offer them snacks." Cuz even when Julie asked her, she said, Oh I'm so good at quizzes..
Kalia: mm hmm
Shelly: Instead of just saying, "I'm grateful." Ya know? You get sick of it.

Jordan: I had a talk with her too.
Shelly: She told me you did.
Jordan: I said that people...
Shelly: She told me you said she was coming off bitchy. I said, I don't think bitchy, but very arrogant.
Kalia: I think she means well, but there's something in the execution that doesn't happen.
Shelly: Right.
Jordan: It's almost like, she means well and she's sweet, but you've got to know her on that level to know...

Kalia: To know she's being sweet.
Shelly: And I said, most of these people don't know you well enough to know that it's not just arrogant gloating.
Kalia: And also the preconceived notions.. They also know what they saw (last season.)
Shelly: And I told her, I said, everybody in America is not changing their impression of you right now. I said, you guys can't even lay on the floor without crawling all over each other... and I said, when you guys argue, go somewhere else. Don't argue in front of everyone else, because then everyone gets involved in your stuff.
Kalia: And even if they're not, you just feel really awkward sitting there like...

Brendon: No.
Rachel: No.
Brendon: You're fine.
Porsche: There's happiness in these headphones...

Brendon: Nono, you're good. Don't worry about it.
Porsche: P.S. He's gonna love that you got this CD. I actually know him in Miami.
Rachel: Really?
Porsche: I didn't wanna say anything with anyone else in here, but yes.
Rachel: Oh my gosh. That's so cool. I've met Tiesta a few times.. Teis...
Porsche: Like, he would play in Arcadia, this small club in the Fountain Bleu...

Brendon: I'm just a little bummed that I don't get to get a letter from my family.
Dani: Win HoH.
**Love her.
Dani: I'm just kidding. Oh please, though. Be happy.

Brendon: I'm happy.
Dani: I know what you mean. It sucks. Hey! I haven't even had the opportunity.
Brendon: I know, I know..

Brendon continues the whine. Mercifully and masterfully, Dani lightens the mood, telling Rachel how excited she is for her and brings the conversation to the importance of getting Adam out and keeping Dominic in the game. We rejoin the conversation at 12:22am BBT...

Brendon: Now the fun begins.
Rachel: Now. (singsongy) Who do we nominate?
Brendon: I don't think that's an issue.
Rachel: Dominic and Adam...
Dani:
Brendon: I'm so glad that you guys got food. Ok.. you're nominated again.
Rachel: hehehe
Dani:
Brendon: I'm so happy for you guys. Ok, you're back up on the block.
Rachel:
Dani: OK.. what's today's date? The saddest part is when Adam goes home on Thursday and doesn't make jury.. and his dreams come crashing down..

Brief Palm Trees..

Rachel: I don't feel bad about this.. If Adam would've won HoH, guess who would be nominated?
Brendon: Yeah, for sure.
Rachel: Me and you.
Brendon: 100%.
Dani: Obviously.
Brendon: Or maybe not.. He would try and backdoor us or something.
Dani: Either way.
Brendon: So now we just need to see where.. I'm not gonna lie..

They all notice the Parlor button is gone from the Spy Screen Remote...

Brendon: I do like the idea of working with Dominic more than Adam... I don't trust Adam at all.
Dani: I really like Adam, it's just..
Brendon: I trust you. If you really think that Dominic's gonna be good to his word...
Rachel: I don't know, because.. Ok, this is like, honest,..
Dani: Yeah, yeah..
Rachel: Earlier today, Dominic was like.. I mean, if he's talking about he's flaky with his friends, he like, makes plans with his friends and stands em up and stuff, why wouldn't he..
Dani: You said you're flaky too..
Rachel: Not like that. When I said that though, I wasn't really kidding. If you think about it.. If you screw over your friends, why woldn't you screw me over to win a half a million dollars.
Dani: It's kind of a different circumstance. I know what you're saying, but...

Brendon: Does he understand that if he screws any of us over at any point, the rest of us are gonna go for him? Or does he think that he can take us out and then be good with Jeff and Jordan, and then stay in this game and compete with them?

***I'm thinking plan B is not only Dominic's but Dani, Jeff and Jordan's best case scenario as well..
Rachel:
Dani: I'm just letting you know. From my talks with him..
Brendon: When Cassi left otday, I was lookin' at his eyes. He was broken up.
Dani: He was sad, but not like..
Brendon: I don't know.. I told Rachel, he's got some deep connection with Cassi, and I don't know what it is. If he divulged some information to Cassi that no one else knows in this house.. Or they had a pre-existing relationship..
Dani: You're so paranoid.
Brendon: I had my gut instinct last year and it was absolutely right.
Dani: But a pre-existing relationship.. I think there is another twist coming, but it's not that. I just think of all the people that could be partof a twist, it's Adam.

Brendon says he's more threatened by Dominic in the game than he is Adam..

Brendon: We're about to go individuals, and we are the biggest targets in the game.
Dani: Yeah, so why wouldn't you wanna leave another huge target in the game.
Rachel: That's a huge point.
Brendon: Yeah, absolutely.
Dani: And, especially if that target is on your side.
Rachel: Yeah.
Brendon: We just can't make the mistake of believing someone's on our side, and then have them turn.
Dani: But you can say that about anybody... It's not even about Rachel's jokes about you and I.. but he has no one else..
Brendon: He's also very good at hiding things..

Dani's pushing. Brendon's resisting.

Dani tells Brendon & Rachel that Jeff and Jordan are already waffling and setting him up for failure, so he needs to think about his own future in the game, not the 5... and set himself up the same way on the other side.

Rachel: I'm gonna go grab some stuff from downstairs.
Brendon: ok.
Rachel: This is my opinion. It's obvious we have to nominate Adam and Dominic. I thought we were all gonna be able to go for Lawon this week.
Brendon: Lawon??
Dani: That's what everybody was talking about originally.
Rachel:
Brendon: Who? The people down there?
Rachel: No. Us. Everybody. Jeff and Jordan.
Brendon: That'd be the stupidest move for anybody.
Rachel: But not I don't think that's the best idea. I don't think it's smart. I think we need to definitely...
Brendon: We'll let them waste one of their HoH's on Lawon or Kalia. It's not gonna be us.
Rachel: We need to see who's gonna be coming after us more. And I agree.. I think Adam.. is not gonna work with us.
Brendon: No, I agree.
Dani: Who is more likely to be on your team: Adam or Dominic?
Brendon: Dominic for sure.
Dani: Just, period.
Brendon: Yeah, Dominic. For sure. I know that.
Rachel: And if there's no question.. If we make a deal with him..
Dani: You already have a deal with him! I'm telling you guys, and I'm not saying this to be mean, but if you keep going to him and saying, you have to do this and that blah blah bla.. Just come up here and make him understand that he's on your team. If you go to him and keep threatening him and that kind of stuff..
Brendon: I'm not threatening him.
Dani: No, no, no.. I'm just saying with the deals and stuff... He already is working with you guys. I promise. You have to make him feel comfortable with that.

Rachel leaves. Brendon and Dani continue the conversation... I've got to move forward into the night.

Rachel, Dani & Kalia

While Dani's been pushing to get Adam out this week, Kalia wants Lawon out.. and she wants the last golden key. Kalia comes up to HoH to give Rachel the reasons it would be best to get Lawon out this week, instead... Rachel: Do you know if Cassi told Dominic to target us?
Kalia: I don't, but I was talking to him today and I don't think that's the case.

Kalia moves on to Lawon...

Kalia: Personally, It's hard for me to play the game with him (Lawon), even though it's just another week. I still feel like, if he were here, even when we get to singles... I don't know.. When I see a snake in the grass, I just wanna get rid of it.
Rachel: Me too. The only problem is..
Kalia: You feel like you have bigger fish to fry?

Rachel: ...is there a snake in the grass that's waiting to strike, but is there one that's already trying to strike you.. ya know.
Dani: (snort) That was deep. Is there a snake in the grass? Or is there already one there? Da da daaaaa.

Kalia: Like is there something you can see vs something you cant.
Dani: Deep thoughts with Rachel.
Kalia: The beauty of it.. with the choices.. they're all people you could easily get out next week as well.
Rachel: You think so?
Kalia: I think you could just as easily get Dom or Adam out as you could...
Rachel: What do you think Dom's strengths are?
Kalia: Physical.
Rachel: Do you think he would excel in a mental competition?
Kalia: No.
Rachel: What do you think about Adam?
Kalia: I wouldn't be surprised if Adam wasn't even attempting to win competitions.
Rachel: You think he's just throwing everything so far?
Kalia: mm hmm. I think that part of his thing is to kinda just stay.. He's like the traditional, classic floater. Hang out, smoke, be funny..
Dani: Adam wont start playing the game until he's made the jury... and you know that's true.

This conversation is ongoing. Like Dani, Kalia is pushing for Dominic to stay in the game. The only difference is, she wants Lawon out, not Adam..

Adam: But like, I mean.. he says, we're on board, but I don't honestly feel 100% trust with him, ya know?



Brendon: Yeah.
Rachel: I feel like..
Brendon: Like in singles next week, if everyone told Dominic, Hey, go with us to get Adam, do you think he would flip on you in a heartbeat?
Adam: I don't think he would flip like that, but if it came down to it? Yeah, he would. I hate sayin' it, but we're in a weird situation.. That's what was so hard about today. Shelly and Cassi, I've grown to be friends with them. I wasn't prepared for the emotional part.

Brendon: When Dominic won the PoV, how was he with you afterwards? Was he like, ok, we can do this? We can take out the veterans one by one now?
Adam: Yeah.

Palm trees.
Rachel: I didn't think last summer..
Adam: Last summer you were playing on emotion.
Rachel: 100%.
Adam: And that''s why you're able to put emotion to the side and... That's where i was the 1st week. I was like, I'm happy to be here, and not thinking.. Last year, Lane got one pity vote. Hayden totally deserved to win. The fact that you've already won 2 HoHs and a PoV competition shows that you play the game, and if you continue that down the road, and you're in the final 2 with him... Sorry Brendon..
Rachel: That's the thing that sucks, when you're HoH..
Brendon: You get blood on your hands.
Rachel: I mean, like, Hayden skirted by the whole summer.. He deserved to win over Lane, but..
Adam: When you guys won PoV the 1st week, I was afraid I was gonna get back-doored.. Then I thought, the better game move is to leave the nominations as they are... I know you guys have a lot to think of and a short time to do it. I'm cool with whatever you do...
Rachel: OK, so what if you did win the Veto tomorrow?
Brendon: There's no Veto tomorrow.
Rachel: Saturday..

Adam: If I'm nominated.
Rachel: Even if you're not. Hypothetically, let's say you and Dominic play in the Veto. Let's say you're not even on the block. Lawon and Kalia are nominated. Let's say you win. You guys aren't using it?
Adam: Not at all.
Rachel: OK.. Let's say you guys are nominated... and then you win, and you have the option.. Would you guys come to us and make a deal..
Brendon:
Adam: If I'm on the block and I win the PoV..
Rachel: You're gonna use it.
Brendon:
Adam: I would use it. I think that's a no brainer. I always think back to Marcellas.
Rachel: We would too.
Brendon: Here's the other angle.. If you guys are on the block, and playing in the PoV, would you throw it to make sure Dominic goes home?
Adam: Yes.

They all acknowledge there was nothing he could've done to prevent Dom from winning the PoV last week..

Rachel: Personally, I'm glad Dominic won. It worked out. It was important to break up Dominic and Cassi.
Adam: Honestly, week one, I told him.. Watch it. Watch getting close to her, because that's when you let emotions cloud your game play.


The conversation with Adam continues on another 12 minutes... The moment he leaves the room at 2:14am BBT, Brendon makes his feelings known...

Rachel: Damn. I like Adam.
Brendon: Yeah, me too, but CareBear Alliance can't stand for too long.



Rachel: I know.
Brendon: It's not just that. I don't wanna make a bad decision and end up screwing ourselves. I think Daniele is right. I think Adam is gonna be on Jeff and Jordan's side, because he knows they're the weaker players, and he knows it's better for his game if they take us out. Know what I mean?
Rachel: Yeah.
Brendon: I mean, the smart gamers realize that if they stand next to us long enough, that f'in we take the heat off of who's ever with us.
**He's got a point there.
Rachel: The problem is, like Dominic hasn't even tried to come up and talk to us.
Brendon: Adam's the only person who came up.
Rachel: Kalia did.
Brendon: She talked to you talked to you?
Rachel: Yeah. Hardcore. She's like, I think if you nominate Lawon, you're gonna see him freak out emotionally..
Brendon: You feel like Dominic would turn on us in a heartbeat?
Rachel: I don't think he would turn on us over them, but I feel like Cassi planted a seed in his head, and we're f'd with him now. Maybe I'm being paranoid, but I feel like Cassi was going around telling everyone, before she left, and she and Dominic hung out the entire last week.. And I think she probably said, you've got to take them out..
Brendon: I wanna go to bed. I'm tired.
Rachel: Brendon, nominations are tomorrow.
Brendon: You wanna stay up and keep talking to people?
Rachel: Yeah, I think it's important... This is huge. It's a huge decision. It might not seem like its a big deal, but it's a huge decision. If we put Dominic and Adam on the block, I guarantee, as much as we just talked to Adam, he's still not gonna feel comfortable with us..

Brendon: There's no doubt in my mind, no matter what you say, that putting Lawon and Kalia up would be the stupidest decision we ever make in this game. If Adam and Dominic win the PoV, they take them off, then we have to put up Jeff and Jordan.
Rachel: They said they're not gonna use it.
***Rachel, sweetheart, I have some lovely Florida swampland to sell you..

Rachel: Do you think they would use it?
Brendon: It doesn't matter what they're gonna tell us! Would you rather go with the safe decision or the decision that would send someone home who isn't a threat in the game right now, and possibly send home one of our own people. Are you kidding me? It's a f*ing no brainer.
Rachel: It drives me crazy that Lawon is such a floater. If he makes it to jury, I will be.. UCH!
Brendon: But it doesn't matter. Logically think about the game. Don't think about your emotions. You're mad, because you fight so hard to be in this game, that you don't want anyone in jury who didn't fight just as hard as you did.
