BB13: Saturday, Wake-up, Aug 13
Good Morning BB Dishers!
Last night, on the live feeds, one more house guest succumbed to a BB meltdown.
Shelly spent most of the night crying and ranting against the unfairness of it all. This was a result of yet another mini house meeting that was called by Jordan to address all the back and forth stories that have been happening in the house. Jordan hoped to out Porsche, but it wound up being Shelly on the hot seat. The comment that irked Shelly the most was Rachel saying Shelly told her she was considering voting for Brendon over Jordan when they were both on the block. (The conversation in question can be found on Aug 3rd @ 9:29 AM BBT, all feeds. Also covered in that day's morning report.) Back to the present, this "house meeting" triggered many conversations between different house guests who, after comparing stories, have found Shelly as the common denominator.
Game-play aside, is was very distressing to witness Shelly's breakdown.
Game-wise, Shelly and Adam are on the block as per Daniele's agreement with Brendon and Rachel who have decided to bury the hatchet. To everyone else, Daniele is saying her target is Brendon, but should the PoV be used to take one of the nominees off the block, the target might switch to Jeff. With Rachel and Brendon forming a renewed, for now, alliance with Daniele, and Jeff vowing to win or throw the veto to Shelly so that Brendon can me nominated and go home, it seems that the Vet Alliance is toast right now.

Today, we're expecting the PoV ceremony, but first, the most crucial PoV Picking of players. Who will be picked and how will it change the game? The light's are on but no one is stirring. BB you need to blast death metal in the morning! :)
Jordan is up but the cameras don't follow her, she gets more blankets and goes back to the Candy room.
8:25 AM BBT
We get palm trees, no doubt because BB wants their butts up for the day. Take 2.
- When they come back shortly after, Shelly is getting up.
- Rachel is sitting up in bed, like she's listening to something.
- Brendon is out of bed but not on camera.
- F1 and 2 go to Shelly in the bathroom. Kalia has joined Shelly. Morning chit chat.
- F3 and 4 on Daniele in the bathroom. Daniele checks the spy screen for activity in the house and feeds the fish.
(F3 and 4)
Brendon and Rachel have a pow wow.
Rachel: If Jeff wins, he will take Shelly off the block... We have to win.
Brendon: We have to make sure we talk to Porsche before... (hard to hear because of the power whispering
Rachel; You don't think that Jeff would turn on us at this point do you?
Brendon: No.
- They leave the Asylum room. Brendon goes back and addresses the cameras. "I need to get picked and I need to win. He gives a thumbs up and leaves.
- Rachel sees Shelly in the bathroom and asks if they can talk sometimes today and Shelly replies with, "Lets just get through this day with dignity." (F 1 and 2)
- Rachel finds Brendon in the storage room to tell him about her brief exchange with Shelly and that even if he goes up against Shelly, they have the votes to keep him.
- Daniele comes downstairs to exchange her batteries. The feeds follow her into the kitchen where Brendon is preparing breakfast. He asks Rachel what she wants for breakfast.
- Daniele quietly gets her bowl of cereal and goes up to HoH.
- Porsche comes through on her way to the bathroom and Brendon greets her with "Good morning."
- Rachel and Adam were in the storage room alone but as the feeds switched to them, they were coming out, so I didn't catch what they said, if anything.
- In the bathroom, Porsche says that she's not good in situations of confrontation and if Shelly wants to talk, she would like that. Shelly nods in agreement. ( F1 and 2 @ 8:55 AM BBT)
- 9:04 AM BBT, all the house guests are busy getting food or getting ready for the PoV Picking ceremony.
- F 1 and 2, Kalia joins Daniele upstairs and tells her Rachel apologized to Shelly, and that Shelly said she found it "unbelievable". Daniele says she doesn't want to win the Veto, herself. If Brendon or Rachel win, they will honor the deal; but if one of the nominees win, then they will backdoor Brendon. Kalia says they need to get rid of Brendon; Daniele wants Jeff out sooner than later.
- Daniele says she feels badly about Shelly. Kalia says that Shelly is the most honest person in the house. Daniele disavows her of the notion and that Kalia trusts her too much.
- Daniele says that it would be sweet if it's a 3-3 vote and Brendon is on the block, and she tells him to take a hike.
- Daniele says she wants a PoV comp where there are lots of prizes, so she can win them and alcohol. She adamantly does not want the unitard.
- Talk turns to Jeff and how he won 10 grand and he gets to be in the jury with his girlfriend.
- F3 and 4, Rachel, Brendon, Porsche and Adam are chatting in the kitchen. Jeff has joined the crew.

I am very curious to know if Dani truly plans on taking Brendon and Rachel up on their deal. I can't help but wonder if the opportunity is there to backdoor Brendon, if Dani would jump at it or pass and show her cards to the other HGs who would know they need to step up their game.
I guess Dani's DRs will help us know her true intentions if the POV isn't used.
So Brendon and Rachel are worried about Jeff turning on them. Huh? I thought the turning began last night when B&R were making their pitch (aka-no one else deserves to be here) to Dani. If the people in this house do any more turning they are going to screw themselves right out of their socks.
At this point, as a die hard JeJo fan, I am rooting for Brendan to win today's Veto. He would not use it, because no matter what 'deal' was made with Dani, he can't fully trust that if he pulls Shelly or Adam down, Rachel would actually be 'safe'. Not worth that risk to him.
Jeff or Jordan winning would be a scary thing, simply because i DO see them pulling Shelly off, and if that's the case, Dani wouldn't hesitate to b/d a vet. Yes, that vet could be Brendan, but it could also easily be Jeff or Jordan, and I would HATE to see that. I really hate seeing how comfortable JeJo have gotten since Brendan came back. Talk of throwing comps and being 'safe for another 2 weeks'... ugh!! EVERY week is a must win to ensure your safety! If they could only hear the convos Dani and crew have about getting them out! Argh.

Now that the HGs have had their wake up call I am done with my morning posts of trying to be open-minded and fair. Now I can start playing the game and from a viewer's standpoint it's almost always personal rather than strategy.
If Jeff gets backdoored, this is my hope. Brendon, Rachel and Dani go to final 3. Brendon takes 3rd place, otherwise known as 'first place loser'. Dani gets second. I still have a bitter taste in my mouth from the way she has acted the last couple weeks but I'd be o.k. with her getting the 50 thousand. Rachel wins. No, I do not like, nor would I ever root for Rachel. But maybe with a half million in her pocket she would kick Brendon to the curb and Rachel 2.0 would come back. And I hope Jeff wins the favorite player just because I still like him and he makes me laugh.
There you go-no deep thoughts, no analyzing or justifying. Just my own personal wishes.
@Toni ~ I was wondering the exact same thing. My only thought on that is she probably would have shared the plan to backdoor Brendon with Kalia, and I believe she has been telling her the plan is to backdoor Jeff. I hope that Jeff is not stupid enough to think he is safe and throws the POV to Shelly.
J+J don't know about the deal upstairs. But Jeff has vowed to find a way to get Shelley off the block and send Brendon home. Therefore, B+R AND J+J are BOTH turning on eachother at the SAME time and not realizing it.
I hate all of the one sided comments. It goes both ways!
(And no, I'm NOT a B+R fan by any means...I'm just able to look at the whole picture)
Back to hating Rachel 1.0. Jeff & Jordan were the only people who would give Rachel the time of day last week and now since Brendan is back, they want to turn on them! Ugh. Wish Dani & JeJo would partner up and get them OUT!
I should have known Rachel and Brendon would turn on Jeff and Jordan. Although I didn't vote, I was hoping for Brendon to come back so that the vet alliance (minus Dani) would be strong enough to get the mean girls out of the house. But as soon as he got back, Rachel starts in with this plan to turn on them and team up with Dani. I knew there was a reason I have never liked her. I hope either her or Brendon get the boot this week, and it would be so funny if they go home instead of going to jury. Let them spend the rest of the summer apart, Rachel deserves some alone time to think about what kind of person she is. What happened to her statement she made to Dani, that she's never gone back on a deal in the bb house? Ugh!!
I forgot to say Good morning to everyone! Sorry about that...hope you all have a wonderful weekend! And once again, many, many thanks to Carolyn and Genie, you are both amazing and you do such a great job here. I feel like I would have no idea what was really happening in this game without all your hard work, because watching the show on tv just doesn't give you a full picture at all of this season.
I think j/j are becoming aware that R/b are acting differently after their hoh mtg with dani, if they win the Veto, jeff will think it through hopefully and make a deal with Dani or leave it the same, otherwise, I am so afraid he will get back doored:(

Regarding your earlier post about Porsche-I don't know a lot.
The parts I heard are that he is very critical of her (her father). Being perceived as successful is very important to him and just the idea of her being on television is something that Porsche feels will make her father proud. It will give him something to look forward to and brag about. But she also said that he criticizes her physical appearance a lot and considers her a disappointment in that area. She said that, "My dad will probably be sitting at home watching this and he'll see Shelly and say, why can't my daughter look more like that." Apparently he tells her she is fat.

THAT is exactly what i was thinking! I mean people are just hating on BR but forget JJ, mainly Jeff didnt like them since the beginning even tho they were in an alliance. He was talking about keeping B or R so the target stays off his back, wanting the swat the "gnat" that is always around him etc, etc. Now dont get me wrong, I love JJBR and wish they could have been together until F4 but the Dani aspect puts a wrench in that obviously. One way or another, both couples are in it for themselves and have essentially turned on each other. So for everyone to go all hateful on BR, its just wrong. They both are doing it, just differently.

Exactly, it seems when someone is hated in the house, the comments are always one sided. Jeff has said he would turn on Brenchel before and talked about wanted them out. But I guess it's ok for Big Jeff to talk trash about the other HGs.
As far as if Dani wants Jeff out. She has been saying it for weeks, I don't know why that would change. With Brenchel, the house doesn't like them but they are good competitors. But with J/J, they are good competitors AND people like them. They are a double threat. I think Dani sees that.
I think it's hilarious that Shelley is seeing the other side now that's she's nominated. She may have been nice to Rachel's face but she was bashing her behind her back and karma sucks. I know what others will say. But Rachel does it too. And Rachel is hated for it. But Shelly gets away with it. Shelly is no Jordan and I truly think that's what she was trying to be but in a motherly way. She was playing the social game that Jordan is so good at.
I have absolutely no idea why Jeff would trust Shelley at this point and use the Veto on her. That's risking Jordan going up. He knows he can't trust Dani. But if Jeff did go up, I would think the other HG is going home.
What was kalia hiding in the storage room this morning? 10:38am on all 4 cams.

WOW.....Carolyn....Adam just mentioned BB Dish. Was talking to Brendan and Rachel and telling them about the bloggers who make it possible for the rest of us to keep up with everything.....and BB Dish was the only one he mentioned. Said you were so detailed....you missed nothing. GREAT!!! and truer words were never spoken. YOU ROCK.
