Good morning, BB Lovers! Happy Sunday! The HGs were very active on the live feeds last night, so I'm gonna get right to it! In case you missed the PoV highlights:
- Adam won the Power of Veto.
- Daniele won a Veto Ticket, guaranteeing her the right to play PoV once when she's not picked.
- Shelly got Solitary Confinement as a punishment, but she also got the Phone Call home - given to her by Jordan.
- Kalia won a Caribbean Vacation.
- Jordan's in the uni.
- Jeff got $5,000 in the PoV comp, bringing his total cash winnings to $15,000 so far in the game.

Business out of the way, Dani stays to keep Shelly company for a while... They talk a lot about Shelly's coming phone call with Tony, the camping toilet in Shelly's cel, Have Nots - Though clearly there are no Have Nots this week, Dani thinks there may be 1 week left of it this season. Then around 11:15pm...
Dani: I can't believe we've only evicted 4 people. It's unbelievable. After this week though, I think there's only 4 or 5 left..
Shelly: Yeah, and then there'll be doubles..
Dani: There'll be 1 yeah.. So we're moving along...
Shelly: Not without plenty of stress, that's for sure.
Dani: Now you know.. Now you feel bad for everyone who's ever been on the show before.
Shelly: Now I get it. Now I totally get it. It's just so weird how things work out.
Dani: Some weeks it's the worst, and then other weeks, it couldn't be more perfect.
Shelly: Right.
Dani: But hey, we backtracked for a little while, but now we're back on track.
Shelly: Yeah, thank God..
Dani: No kidding. No more mistakes like that.
Shelly: No Sh*t!
Dani: hehehe
Shelly: Oh my God, it took less than 24 hours to have it smack me right square in the face.
Dani: I know... That's ok. We all make mistakes. And in this house, it's really easy to.
Shelly: Yeah. It's really easy to get caught up in a lot of things.
Dani: mm hmm. It's hard cuz you always wanna give people the benefit of the doubt... and like I was telling you, I don't judge people for who they are in this house, it's who they are inside this house, not who they are outside this house.

Dani: Porsche was telling me... that Rachel's already campaigning to her.

Dani: Can you believe that?? But the best part is that Rachel thinks she's going up..

Adam: Well then that was f*ckin' weeks ago, before...
Jeff: That's what I said.
Adam: So that doesn't...
Jordan: She told us that a couple days ago.. Was that not true?
Adam: I didn't say it to her a couple days ago. I said it to her.. I don't even.. If I said it to her, it was weeks ago.

It'd be better if she just put up Rachel, but she's not gonna do that... because she said Brendon wins about 80% of the competitions he plays in.. It was either Shelly or Adam that told me, Dani said that "as long as Brendon and Rachel are here, she has no chance of winning."
Jeff: Yeah.. Adam said that.
***NOTE: Dani made the identical statement to Brendon and Rachel about Jeff and Jordan - as long as they're here, no chance of winning...
Jeff: Of course Adam wants them gone, cuz he's good with them.
Jordan: Yeah.. SO it's just kinda like, Well.. If Brendon leaves..
Jeff: I'm the next target..
Jordan: Yeah.. and we're down again.. You probably should've just taken the Veto.
Jeff: And leave it the same?
Jordan: Yeah.
Jeff: What's the difference? I'm still in the same position.
Jordan: I know.
Jeff: But now I'm $5,000 richer.
Jordan: Well that is true.
Jeff: If I was gonna get the Veto, and we're gonna send home Shelly, I'm in the same exact position, but with $5,000. So why would I take the Veto?
Jordan: I mean, I know they'll throw us under the bus and stuff.. but we need em... If she backdoors em, we aren't gonna have the votes to save either one of em.
Jeff: hmm?
Carolyn: hmm?
Jordan: Whenever Adam takes himself off the block, and she puts up Brendon to replace him, we don't have the votes anyway to save him.
Jeff: Yeah, we do.
Jordan: Me, you, Rachel and who else?
Jeff: Adam. I don't know if he would or wouldn't.. but I think I could convince him to... That's the thing, if Brendon does go up, I could say, listen, guys, me and Jordan wanna vote for you, but we don't have the votes, and it's gonna come down 3 to 3, if Porsche even votes for you.. Adam's not voting for you.. Put it on Adam.. And say, Adam's not voting for you.. You don't have the votes. I'm not giving you a vote for no reason..
Jordan: Right.

Jeff: I have to stay here and watch myself.. Do you want me to give you those sympathy votes? Cuz it's not gonna matter.
Jordan: And that way, we won't get in trouble?
Jeff: mm hmm.
Jordan: I told Rachel and Brendon that tonight.. when we were talking.. I told em, y'all don't have the votes anymore...
Jeff: I told em that tonight.. I told em, don't depend on us, depend on Adam.. I told him, I might go up.
Talk turns to how annoying they find Rachel...
Jeff: I don't wanna save them because of her.
Jordan: I was thinking' the same thing... It's weird.. All the girls were sittin' talkin' to Shelly... Of course Adam and them want them gone, because Shelly has nothing to worry about with Dani and them. Nothing.
Jeff: Yeah, I know.
Jordan: Me n you are the ones who have to worry about stuff... And Adam's like, no no no, us 4.. So I go, if you win HoH, who are you putting up, and he said, "Rachel and Kalia." So really.. You're helping them out too, because you're putting Rachel up.
Jeff: Yeah.
Jordan: And he goes, well, if she takes herself off the block, he's not gonna put up Porsche, he's not gonna put up Shelly, Oh, he id say, "I'll just put up Dani then," but I don't know if I believe that. But see.. If Brendon and Rachel are both here, they both play, Dani can't play.. They have a good chance of winning..
Jeff: Yeah, but Adam.. then maybe Porsche..
Jordan: Porsche's not goin' to.. She's not goin' to.
Jeff: I just don't trust Rachel. I just don't. She's gonna throw us under the bus.. tonight.. tomorrow..
Jordan: Or, do you think if we keep them, you think maybe they might set up something with Dani?
Jeff: yeah.
Jordan: I feel like we're kinda in the middle... like it's a lose lose situation.. and I feel like Brendon.. I think it bothers him that you already won $15,000... He's said it, and Rachel said something to me before about you getting 10,000...

Jordan: Oh.. and Adam told me in the room, they're selfish and I'm not supporting people like that. And Shelly told me, why would you wanna team up with people like that?
Jeff: Because it's a game. Let's look at this objectively. What does Shelly have to offer us?
Jordan: (long pause) A vote. And.. if she's telling the truth, she does go up there and help us out.. if that's the truth.
Jeff: I think those days are over.
Jordan: You do? Even after I gave her my thing?
Jeff: Yeah, but they don't trust her like they did. She's burnt. Nobody trusts her.

And that's why I'm just a little worried about Adam like later on, because I think he will flip, even though he says... He's gonna do whatever's gonna benefit him.

Jordan: No, he didn't say. I'm assuming.
Jeff: He wont. He'll put up Kalia.
Jordan: Him and Shelly are in the best spots. Do you think we should save Brendon then?
Jeff: I don't know the answer. There is no answer.. But whatever we do, this week, and we don't win, it'll all be brought back to this week.. You guys shoulda did this... or done that. It's gonna be.. This is the week. This is it. We lost HoH, all of us. I had a chance to win the Veto and I f'in threw it. So.. this is the week.

They're still going at 1:30am, and Jeff keeps coming back to the thought that if Brendon goes this week, Big Jeff moves up to target #1 in the house, so keeping Brendon in the game may well be best for them... However, Jeff doesn't feel confident that he can gather enough votes to save Brendon... Jordan gets it, but she feels badly about maybe having to cut Shelly loose sooner than planned. The key for them is getting Daniele out ASAP, because once Daniele's gone, they believe Kalia and Porsche will flounder around, helpless and hopeless.

Brendon comes out asking for advice in how to get Adam's vote.. He's definitely going to capitalize on using the time Shelly's in Isolation to get Adam alone, since Shelly will have his ear after that. Jeff & Jordan tell Brendon they believe he could get Porsche's vote, if he goes up... Further, they let him know that of the 2 of them, he'll be the target, because Dani and her crew are convinced Rachel is useless in the house without him...
Brendon also plans to tell Adam that once he and Jeff are gone, Adam moves into the primary target position...

Jeff: Also, in case I go up, I need their (Brendon & Rachel's) votes, so I have to pretend. I'm putting it all on Adam right now, like he's the swing vote. I'm gonna make him think...
Jordan: Um.. OK.. So.. If he stayed, of course we know he would go after Dani.. Just thinking logic. So if Dani left, then um, for sure we would have the numbers, because Kalia and Porsche wouldn't know where to go, and we'd still have Adam, right?
Jeff: Yeah, but the whole thing is getting Dani out. That's not gonna be the easiest thing.
Jordan: But even still, even if we didn't get her out, she'd still go after them.
Jeff: No, she'd put you n me up.
Jordan: To try to get us out instead?
Jeff: Cuz then she knew she wouldn't have a chance...
But here's what it all boils down to...
Jordan: Whoever goes up against Brendon or Rachel has a better chance of winning. Because people don't like them. If Brendon and you were in the final together? You would win. If anyone was up against Rachel?
Jeff: I'm not thinking about that though..
Jordan: I'm thinking about long term.. Whoever Dani's up against? Dani would win.
Jeff: But I'm trying to spin these votes to where we're not the swing votes... I wanna push it off on Adam and Porsche.. OK.. Kalia's gonna vote for Brendon to be gone, obviously. Rachel's gonna vote for Shelly to be gone. OK.. so then there's 4 left. So.. Oh that doesn't make sense.. Because then, Daniele will be like, vote Brendon ot, and it be tied, and she can split it...
Jordan: And if we don't vote him out.. Let's say Porsche says we're good and that she'll vote Shelly out.. Let's say she flips and just says that? Brendon's gonna be gone, we'ra gonna piss Shelly off, and Danie's gonna be like, ok, I can't trust them.. So we're gonna have them after us.
Jeff: Yeah, but I want the whole thing to be on Adam and Porsche, if Brendon leaves... I wanna be like, listen guys, I wanna vote for you, but Adam and Porsche told us that they're not.. so were not gonna be the only 2 votes and still have to be in this house.. Just be like, I can't.. we have to be safe and look out for ourselves...
Jordan: I don't know what's best to do... It's almost like, I wanna lean towards Brendon and Rachel, and say that's the best for us.. cuz then.. we're still hidden, target wise.. well, moreso you, target wise.. and they're gonna gun after Dani. Now I do know for sure that Shelly will put up Porsche and Kalia..

It's pouring rain here in southeast pa, but I love the rain and the nice cool breeze. Watching BBAD, drinking hot coffee, and reading BBDish, what could be better?
Does anyone know if Dani is really putting up Brendon? Do R/B think she is on board for their secret alliance that they talked about before noms? Is anyone else as confused as I am? I just don't want JeJo leaving yet. They are so adorable together, and it's nice to see Jordan smiling again.

Thanks again for your great work, I love reading your TOR's.
Even if Jeff doesn't come in first or second, he'll still do well this game. He already has 15K (or 20k?), and a very good chance at getting America's favorite. How much is America's favorite? 25k?
40k - 45k for a summer to hang out with Jordan - not bad!! (with still a good shot at winning).
There is a lot I like about the guy, but I am just so disappointed in the ignorant Harry Potter remarks he made. I wish he hadn't done that.
I know we all say things we don't exactly mean sometimes. I don't want to be judgmental, but what he said was pretty stupid (and very disappointing).
BTW, I can't remember my grade six grammar and I hate bad grammar. Can someone pleas help me out? Does the period go before or after the closed parentheses? Help, Help!!!

I may have to take a break from the feeds today because of Brenchel. I know it going to be another long day of listening to them whine and campaign.-Oh, who am I kidding. I'll still watch.
Never have I ever seen two people that talk game or just plain talk as much as they do.
Take all the non-game talk out of the equation-all of the insults and nasty comments and stick strictly to the game. I have seen no behavior from J&J that in any way compares to Brenchel. Jeff goes to HOH and says "If you're coming after me expect the same. If I'm not your target, you're not mine." He keeps it quick and simple. Doesn't talk on and on about what a wonderful specimen of humanity he is and doesn't point out the shortcomings of his supposed friends &/or alliance members. Who knows if Jeff plans on sticking to any deals he makes in HOH. The point is, when he campaigns to stay there aren't other people's names coming out of his mouth to be targets. He even said last time Dani was HOH that he didn't want to know who her target was. When Jeff campaigns there is no tying B&R to the railroad tracks while he has a first class ticket for the train.
BTW-Good idea for a C-Venus chop-J&J tied to the tracks with Brenchel driving the train.

Maybe throughout the day, Rachel's mouth will get the best of her. We all know it's only a matter of time. If she keeps talking (and if Brendon keeps giving J&J death stares from the hammock) maybe J&J will realize that getting rid of Brendon is the absolute best thing they can do at this point.
The added benefit, if Jordon gets all fired up, she may teach Rachel a lesson in what it's really like to be 'alone' in the BB house.
Good morning all. I am thinking that Daniele will make the last, and largest, mistake in her game if she does backdoor Brendon. She will then be fighting for her life next week. Instead of playing the game stratigically, she is playing the game personally. Since she already told Adam that Jeff is safe, and told Shelly that she was safe, it pretty much is telling me that Brendon will be the replacement nom. When Jeff threw the veto to Adam to take the cash, I thought that greed might be his downfall because instead of making himself safe for the week, he took the money. It also told me at the time that he would rather have Shelly and Adam on his side then Brendon. After hearing the conversation with Jordan last night, and the mistrust they are starting to feel about Shelly, Danieles plan to backdoor Brendon could end up backfiring on her. If Jeff, Jordan, Rachel vote to keep Brendon, and J/J can convince Adam that Brendon is better to have in the game instead of Shelly, then Brendon will stay. If this all plays out this way, Dani will be in a heap of trouble.

Oh my, I certainly hope that J&J realize that Brendon is a snake in the grass along with Rachel. Jeff won $5000. in the veto. I love the part where is says greed gets you no where and he believes in karma coming back at you--he's beating himself up for taking the money.
I think that J&J should go to Dani for a deal...she might take it. In defense of Dani, who I have not liked this season, I thought that it was very kind on her part to go back and reassure Shelly that she is OK. Plus, she seemed sincere when she was chatting with Shelly. Hope that Brendon gets put up and evicted--he is such a "Mr. Know It All" about everything--I just can hardly stand to watch him and/or Rachel on the feeds. Good day to all!

So, I just read it haven't watched it yet, JeJo think it's better to go with Brenchel rather than Shelly and Adam. I kind of saw that one coming. If it was just Rachel then no but with Brendon back. The vet 4 feel they can steam roll over the others. Perhaps they can.
They don't have the votes to save, whichever vet is on the block, unless Adam votes to evict Shelly. He might do that but if he does his F2 goes out the door, literally.

So, the only people considering keeping Brenchel are the two people they have completely and utterly trashed.
Anyways, these are some of the things that made me scratch my head from last night. You know, pearls of wisdom from Brenchel.
They want to tell Dani that Jeff is selfish and useless and all he does is cause trouble. (Wouldn't that give Dani more reasons to keep Jeff?)
Rachel said they never should have told J&J about the plan to back door them. (I guess the week before, when Jordon was HOH she should have gone with the back door Brenchel plan, then it wouldn't have mattered.)
Brendon called them stupid, simple-minded and unintelligent, Jeff is selfish and Jordon has the mind of a child. (At least they are smart enough to know that you don't put your private business out there on the internet for all the world to see. Yes Brenchel, good old common sense is part of intelligence.)
Rachel still blames J&J for for Brendon's first eviction. Dani was HOH. Dani could have targeted anyone including Jeff. She absolutely wanted Brendon out of the house. (Hmmm, I wonder if Rachel's attitude and constant drama had anything to do with that. Also, Brendon didn't use HIS POV on himself so whose fault is it really that Brendon got evicted?)
What have I learned. The whole house have commented on J&J being a threat-either in comps or with jury votes. They have commented on Jeff's temper. The MGC upstairs have talked about Jeff being rude and they constantly make fun of Jordon. Yet the general consensus seems to be that most people still want Brendon and Rachel out of the house. Shouldn't that tell them something about themselves?
All Dani has to do to assure Brendan goes is tell Jeff that Brenchel sold'em out

This will be her second bout of chemo. She was in remission. She lives in Canada and cares for her elderly mother while she goes through this ... she is a Goddess Warrior!!! Her strength, humor, and experience are truly a gift ...
I was in and out of the feeds last night ... not sure what happened so, of to read TOR ...

Jeff and Jordan are really in a bad spot. Personally I think they should get rid of Brendon. B/R are not on their side. They would be more than happy to work with Dani to get rid of Jeff. They've already tried - twice! Keeping Brendon would really make Dani mad. I could see Dani making a real deal with B/R to get Jeff out.
B/R were talking last night in the hammock about what Rachel should do if Brendon leaves this week. She will most likely go with Dani. J/J really need to step it up and win another HOH or they will be in big trouble. It's not going to matter what they do this week.
Plus I think it will crush Shelly if J/J vote her out over Brendon. I may be one of her last remaining fans but I still like her. I do think she will loyal to J/J for as long as she possibly can. More than I can say for B/R.
Before I put my foot in my mouth anymore defending anyone or accusing anyone of bad behavior, I'll wait for the outcome of TOR. I was too tired to watch it for myself last night and I knew you would do the work for me. Thank you Caro.
What I will say is, at this point in the game everyone has to reassess the situation. Everyone has to make moves that keep them safe. They have to make and break deals, make promises they can't keep and even lie. I give them all a little leeway when it comes to the ugly part of the game.
But I still think Brendon and Rachel go above and beyond in the trashing of others while campaigning for themselves. And the people they trash the most are the ones who have, for the most part been their closest friends in the house. I am quite sure that I will come to the end of this season disliking them more than anyone including Shelly and the Mean Girls Club. Pretty much the same scenario as last year. They say the third time's a charm but frankly, I would not want them back for a third season.

Just wanted to drop in to tell Carolyn and Genie what a FABULOUS job you guys do. I was soooo thrilled when Adam mentioned BBDish. I start and end my day here, even though I have the feeds.....the time spots for flashbacks are great too.
I was hoping that Brendan would come back just to see the look on everyone's face, but now that that moment has passed....it feels like I am watching reruns. It's like the last 2 weeks never happened.
I am hoping that JJ will figure out that Brenchel is selling them down the river and that Brendan will go home. Especially when I heard Rachel tell Brendan how everyone was so mean to her while he was gone, including Jordan. That just burned my soul......she is just the worst. I can only keep the camera on her for a few minutes because I begin to get ill just listening to her. If I can barely take her for 5 minutes....how can Brendan want to spend the rest of his life with her?? And yet he does seem to TRUELY love her. I don't get it.
Well...we all know how quick things can change in the BB house....so I can't wait to see how this all plays out this week. Just please let JJ win HOH next week.

So, just when I thought this game was going one way, it gets totally derailed and Dani is working with B/R!? How can this be??!!

It almost feels like another cliffhanger episode of the Perils of Pauline (especially with Jordon looking so very cute in her pigtails today) ...

Keep Shelly, as Brendon has a tight bond with Rachel. Break up strong couples such as Jeff/Jordan.
All five players above have demonstrated ugly behavior, yet Jeff has replaced Lawon with his funny replies. E.g.; after Adam said "... God heard her say it in front of somebody... know what I mean?", Jeff: "Well, she said it to my face...".
I would love to see an endurance comp like the swings in Jeff's season. As much as I would like to see Rachel in endurance to see if she can really stand up to Dani, what I would really like is to see Brendon up against Jeff without either of them throwing it. I know what Jeff is capable of. I honestly believe that anything that requires physical endurance mixed with pain is going to be Brendon's downfall and he is always going to have an excuse as to why the deck was stacked against him.
Dani and Kalia had a conversation last night laying out all the upcoming weeks - who should win HOH,who should they target, etc. Well it got me thinking and I went back to look at how the last month played out with the numbers last season. Something is confusing me so I'm hoping someone here can set me straight.
Season 12 started with 13 house guests. Which is the same as this year given that Dick left. Rachel was the first to go to jury and she was evicted on Aug 12th. That would line up with last week for this season. Even with a fast forward double elimination week I don't see how we will get to the final three by Sept. 8th and finale the next week. It seems to me that we still have an extra person. Am I missing something or will there perhaps be another twist involving the numbers of HGs?

Here are my thoughts on Jeff this morning. First off, I'm not totally convinced Dani isn't gonna put Jeff up but for arguments sake, lets say she does put Brendon up.
I think Jeff is at the stage of the game he was at in his first season where he had it pretty good w/him, Jordan, Russell and Michele then he over thought things and turned on Russell, which in my opinion cost him the game.
I feel like Adam and Shelly are totally behind Jeff & Jordan right now and if he makes the decision to keep Brendon over Shelly he will be really sorry. Brendon and Rachel are not with him and Adam's trust will not be the same if Jeff tries to convince him to vote Shelly out. So as soon as Jeff goes on the block, he has only Jordan's vote left.
I really feel he's screwing himself if he tries to keep Brendon. Shelly may not be winning comps but she would have always been a vote for him.
So, IF Dani does what she's talking about doing ... backdooring Brendon ... What will the rest of the week be like?
Rachel crying "foul" and running to J/J for comfort?
The whole sordid plot (complete with B/R commentary on getting rid of J/J) comes tumbling out?
Brendon crying, threatening and instructing Rachel to "stick with J/J once he's gone"?
And, Dani, secure in her PoV player position, skates through another week?
At least Dani is playing a different game than she did at first. Gotta give her props for recognizing her miscues and getting back on track.
Still hoping it doesn't sink J/J in the end though.
Everyone goes in the house to win. Everyone has a strategy. They are strangers and as much as they need to trust someone how do they know they can. I try to see it from their sides with the information they are given, not the information that I know.
I think Jeff and Jordon can trust Shelly more than most other people in the house, but from the house point of view it looks like Shelly is the liar which has to make J&J wonder if she is lying to them. They don't know about Shelly's pre-season interview. For all they know, Shelly is blowing smoke up their bums.
J&J vs. B&R-They need is other yet if they keep each other around too long they stand in each other's way. And of course they are using each other to the extent of how it helps their own game. I just think some people bring a lot of personal opinions and insults and a lot of selling-out of others into their campaigning. Not personal, non-campaigning conversations. They are all guilty of bad behavior in that area.
One more comment before you finish TOR. I watch a lot of movies and usually figure out the mystery less than half way through. I knew 11 minutes into The Sixth Sense that Bruce Willis was dead. When I can find a movie that really keeps me in suspense and surprises me at the end I love it. That's what TOR has become today. A great mystery. Frankly, I have no idea what any of these crazy HGs are doing or where it will all end up.

No one likes for me to say anything bad about Jeff, and probably hate it more when I include Jordan, but I wish I could telepathically let Dani know she needs to backdoor Jeff this week. Jeff is dangerous and needs to be taken out. His strong-arming threats are just going to get worse with each passing day. His sense of entitlement to be there is more than I can take. Jordan can be next. All she seems to be this year is Jeff's 'yes girl'. She certainly doesn't deserve to be there if she doesn't make any moves to help them or win some comps. All she is right now is a 2nd vote depending on what Jeff wants.
Not that I can take any more of Brendon and Rachel but I'm looking at it as, since they are easier to get out, take the snake by surprise, cage him and send him out the door.
Of course I don't like Shelly's game either so this week I really don't care who goes out. My only hope for this week's outcome is that it turns out to be what is best for Dani. Whatever it takes to insure her safety is fine with me.
What I'm saying, bottom line, is that it's time to break up the couples because they are the strongest alliances in the house, individually and collectively.

I'm officially on team Adam for the win (until something changes my mind). I like him more & more everyday. I haven't heard any houseguest bashing from him & he seems to walk away from that type of thing and doesn't want to get caught up in the drama. When he & Dani overheard Jordan's meeting the other day, they both walked away not wanting to get involved. He's funny sometimes, sensative to others and is just so happy to be there since he's such a fan. J/J can take 2nd and or America's choice if they make it that far. I wish J/J would stick with Adam & Shelly. I think they would both be loyal to them until F4. Go Adam!

I completely agree with your last comment! I love JJ. THey were, and still are my fav couple ever from BB. But as players, I also like BR. The thing that irks me that some people go out of their way to vilify BR when they turned on JJ. If we honestly look at both couples, they both are guilty of turning on each other. But somehow JJ get a pass for it. Just like thinking of turning on Shelly and keeping Brendan for THEIR game is considered gameplay but BR or anyone else doing is all the bad things in the world.
I've mentioned it before, I love JJ and I wish JJBR could have stayed together til final 4 and if one of them had won HOH this week they would have. But at this point, they are all in it for themselves, so theyre each going to trey to do whatever it takes. Vilifying one while throwing roses at the other is just not fair.
