Tuesday Afternoon in the Big Brother 13 House
Good afternoon, BB Lovers!! I hope you're having a terrific Tuesday, and I hope you've got your live feeds all set up for the Physical HoH all the HGs are expecting that'll spill over onto the feeds Thursday night. If you don't, you'd be wise to set yourself up with the 3 day free trial sooner than later.
The HGs are thinking it'll be like the Ropes Comp from last year, or maybe the Hot Coco Comp from a couple seasons before... I think they're right. Either that or Endurance.. but that would be a cruel twist of fate: An Endurance Comp Dani can't participate in... BB can't be that cruel.

Everyone's still at the couch, and under the noise of Adam and Brendon's ongoing conversation about Modern Family, Dani tells Jeff that Kalia got into trouble yesterday for singing.. Production threatened her with a Penalty Nom.
Dani: If it weren't for Kalia, we'd be inside yesterday.
Jeff: I know!
Dani: She got pissed yesterday.
Jeff: What happened?
Dani: They told her.. You need to stop singing, or ___ getting sued for a ton of money and blah blah blah.. And they like, threatened her with a Penalty Nom... Obviously, they're not gonna do that, but she has to understand that they do get pissed cuz they really can get sued, and she just doesn't care, you know what I mean?
Jeff: I wonder if they warn her so many times, if they take it out of your stipend..

Jeff: They don't get sued for like a stipend, they get sued for big bucks.

Adam: We're out of lunchmeat.
Dani: We're out of everything. Thank God he's leaving. We never ran out of anything (when he wasn't here). Not even avocados, and I eat them every day.
Adam: When we were playing the game.. I said Garbage Disposal.. Porsche said, no, we evicted him last week.
Talk turns to Zombie Land... Dani wants to know the rules. (**I have NO idea)
Dani: All I know is to kill them for good, you have to cut off their head... I wanna do a really good zinger (in the DR), but I can't think of anything.
Adam: He's gonna be known now as the Zombie instead of the Neanderthal. I get your sarcasm, but I have to admit that was a little f'd up. I would be a little offended, but it's so funny. America is gonna love it. The twist this year is that there's a zombie in the house.
Dani: Did everyone go back to bed?
Adam: Porsche did.. Brendon and Rachel went to canoodle..
Dani: Gross..
Adam mentions a soiled towel Porsche found by their bed.. Dani's disgusted.
Adam: Hopefully one day you know love like they do. I can only imagine what's out on the feeds.
Dani; Why would you want that out there?
Adam: They don't care. They're young and in love. Well, not really young. Younger than me. (big sigh)
Dani: Rachel's face last night when she ate the cinnamon was priceless.

Adam: Let's talk about the next most popular topic in the Big Brother house: So what do you think the next HoH will be?
Dani: Questions.
***She's lying to him. Dani thinks it'll be physical.
They speculate about the type of questions comp.. Then onto the matter of Brendon..

Dani: Really?
Adam: Well, this morning, Shelly and I were out here first.. Then just now in the kitchen, I thought I was in for it, but no.. I think they're waiting til later this time.. Just looking at it from an outside point of view, keeping the both of them here, they can control the house for the rest of the summer.. And when it gets down to 6, if one's on the block and the other's off, they can protect each other winning PoV.
Dani & Adam's conversation is ongoing and interesting, until 1:45pm when Adam gets called away by Kalia and the beeping oven - His pizza is ready.

Flipping over to feed 3 to see what's going on, we find Jordan in the pool...
...talking to Shelly, who has just said something about dancing on a bar, and that she could name 2 people in the house who would do it... Let me guess.
1:55pm - Talk between Shelly and Jordan talks to Competition nerves.. They both suffer from it.
Then they move on to Jeff's behavior during comps. Shelly comments how mean he is to Jordan during competitions.
Jordan: Well, he thinks I'm always in Lala land.
Shelly: Well, you're not. Tell him, who won last time?!
Jordan: He gets a little worked up about that too.

Shelly: I always feel like when Tuesday gets here, the week goes by really fast.
Jordan: This week has gone by fast... Can you believe there's still 6 girls in here?

Jordan: Cassi's been the only girl (evicted) so far. I can't get over.. like when we saw all them.. Especially Keith! I mean it's only been a month, but still.

- Feed 3 & 4 - Checking on the Bikini Crew, Kalia has now joined Jordan and Shelly. As I tune in, talk is about the dwindling food supplies. Everyone blames Brendon. Shelly gets up to check on the meat situation, because she's making spaghetti for everyone tonight. Jordan's excited about the prospect.

Shelly goes inside, and Kalia ponders what to make for herself, since she prefers to keep a vegetarian diet.
Jordan: There's a girl at my work who was eating Thai food a lot, or Tofu, I guess it's called...
Talk turns to Kalia's excessive late night eating in the house. She says she's gotta get it together. Shelly shouts out and asks if Jordan or Kalia want a piece of pizza. Both decline.

Talk turns to Jordan's boobs. She now feels they're too big, saggy and she doesn't like them. Jordan's reason for getting a boob job in the first place was that she felt her boobs were ugly, and she begged for a boob job from age 16. But now..
Jordan: I could go back to bein' a B size, or I could just be flat chested.. cuz then you can wear anything.
At one point, Kalia had wanted to get a reduction too... Jordan asks if she can get a discount because her sister's a surgeon. Kalia says that's a no... Boob talk continues... Sag talk.. Scarring from plastic surgery.

Adam's sharing his excitement about Julie speaking his name, and then actually participating in the PoV Ceremony yesterday, and Dani tells him he's an uber dork... then she softens it and brings him back in.
Dani tells Adam how bizarre it'll be when he gets out of the house... Talk turns to Dominic. Adam wonders if Dominic will be angry with him for some things he said about him with regard to the Keith vote, since Adam had thought it was Dom.
Adam: It's gonna be interesting to watch, and next season will be even more interesting
Dani: You'll never watch it the same again.
Adam: Me, you and Ragan can host a web show.. The Rumor Control or something..
Dani: You can host with my dad.
Adam: He's gonna hate me.
2:32pm - Porsche enters and gives a status update on where the bodies are in the house.
Brendon and Rachel's names are mentioned, so the bash door opens wide... Adam puts a gentle stop to it after a couple minutes. The girls tease him about wanting a montage. Talk turns to show filler.. What they imagine BB's using: PT snoring, PT and Dani canoodling, Kruddy...
Dani: You're gonna have a montage of nothing, cuz you're sleeping all the time.
Adam: They'll have a montage of Porsche and Kalia, side by side, doing a sleep off.

From the waiting time for Dani's Nomination Ceremony where Jeff complained for an hour that he had to pee, talk turns to the relief of a morning pee.. and then back to music.
Checking on the ladies outside on feed 3, Shelly, Kalia and Jordan are chatting. Shelly's blowing sunshine up Jordan's bum.
Shelly: You look identical to Cindy Lou Who. For you it's a Cute-i-tard, not a humilitard.
Talk turns to Lydia's behavior about the unitard, then Shelly gets judgmental regarding Lydia's fooling around with Jessie... Then to sex in general... and of course, back to Brendon and Rachel... Jordan says she saw them last night and she was all yucked out.

Dani comments that she's been in the pool forever, and Jordan says it's because she doesn't want to wear the tard. Porsche's just coming out of the HoH, where she's been lotioning up to go lay out like a good Florida girl - 3 to 5, when the sun's not at it's strongest. ;)

Can anyone get a read on where Dani's head truly is this week? I cannot tell if she has abandoned any hope of a deal with B/R or if she is gonna work her girls to keep Brendon last minute and is "faking" (not really faking on a personal level, but game faking) a closeness with Shelly so she can ensure a jury vote and act surprised by her eviction but still work with B/R behind the scenes...
Any one have any insight here? Its driving me crazy wondering where her head is at! Production could at least give us a nice Dani DR leak!

I hope that Dani somehow catches wind of Adam/Jeffs major desire to oust her next week... she is playing this HOH fairly well I'd say as far as minimizing future threats but I think keeping Brendon is her best bet as far as staying next week if there is a power shift...
Quick Question: Do we know if other HGs have thought about FORCING a tie to make Dani a big target (potentially) by making the final vote? I always think that is a very effective strategy that isn't used enough in this game...

Hello Carolyn, Genie, and all BBDishers! Now that I've read the tor and gotten caught up, I have to say I don't know where Dani's really headed this week. I think bb just might do an endurance comp this week, even though dani can't participate. They really need to shake things up in the house, the mean girls club is getting way too comfy upstairs, and the power definitely needs to shift so we can watch them scramble a little bit. We all know what Porsche will do, she's proven that she'll float to whoever is in power. But I'm really anxious to see what Dani and Kalia would do if they were on the block against each other. It would be nice to watch them throw each other under the bus, after all their talk and criticism of everyone else the past few weeks who've been scrambling and trying to make deals to further themselves in the game. It would be nice to watch Kalia eat a little of her own 'humble pie.' :)
It is great to see everyone together though, at least they're all starting to hang out some and not be so separate in the house.
I love reading everyone's comments, and I have to say to Grendon, you are always right on with pretty much everything I'm thinking. I love your perspectives on the game and on the players!

That's why I love Adam and I love Brenchel. Brendon is one of the few men I have ever seen who can openly express his feelings for a woman. I think it's great. I feel sorry for the cynics who don't believe it's real.

I gave my opinion earlier today, but I think Dani may be fine with a tie and possibly even hoping for one.
If she keeps Brendon it looks good to B&R and shows that Dani kept her deal with them (or took them up on their deal-whichever way you look at it.) It also forces J&J to realize that B&R made a deal with Dani which most likely ends the chance of the four of them working together from that point on.
If she keeps Shelly it looks like she kept her promise to keep her safe and also makes Shelly realize that J&J voted to evict her. Dani has already been playing the social game of being much friendlier to Shelly. Once Shelly realizes J&J voted to evict her she no longer owes them any kind of loyalty.
The one person who ends up angry is Rachel, in the event Brendon is the one to go. But she hasn't been playing a great game so far, so Dani may not consider her a huge threat. She also knows that other people would still be targeting Rachel and she knows that J&J aren't going to put themselves at risk to help Rachel after this week.
This is assuming that the tie would be Porsche/Kalia/Adam to evict Brendon and Jeff/Jordon/Rachel to evict Shelly.

I am pretty tasted by the threat of a penalty nom for singing though and if kalia does continue to show blatent disregard for the rules I hope they follow through.

Ok Guys this is what I think Dani is thinking...If she tells Brendon that she is working on getting Porcsha's vote to keep him (so they can think she's on their side) but in all reality she really is lyin so she can say "sorry I tried my best its not my fault" so that would mean theres no blood on her hands and that would be a jury vote for her from brendon...I really hope this scenerio isnt what she is thinking cause I can't take Shelly anymore...all she does is bash Rachel and try's to promise and suck up to Jordon and Jeff with things outside of the house...
I really hope Jeff sees threw Adam cause in the conversation they had last nite clerly Adam is looking out for himself and Jeff can't trust him...Adam went straight to Shelly this morning and told her everything...I can't deal with hm either but Jeff needs him for a little while longer...
I really couldn't take the "Mean Girls Alliance" but in all reality Dani is playin a smart game...(i still dont like her and want her out soooonnnn)and its up to Jeff and Jordon and Rachel to step up there game and win on thursday...
I really hope Brendon stays on Thursday and for Rachel to win and put Dani and Kalia up and if dani takes herself off then to put up Porscha as thr renom and for Porscha to go home...only because she abandon R/B quickly...

Ah, the singing. I never feel the urge to punch anyone when they sing because, well...I don't want to break my computer. But I do sit here and swear a lot.
What are some of the quintessential comps that should be upcoming for HOH and Veto? Sounds like the oh-so-favorite prize/punishment veto was this week.
We are overdue for an into-the-late-night endurance comp as well... I would really like to see a repeat of the glass box button holding endurance from Season 6... that one went to the next morning and I believe involved someone peeing their pants! Now that is the endurance comp I long for!
We should be coming upon some creepy talking object veto that gives the HGs a clue about an evicted houseguest and they have to run through obstacles in the yard and find an item with that HGs name on it...
There should be some "big" luxury comp coming our way...

All that is great with the 'assumption' that J+J always vote together...
If J+J were smart, this week 1 would for Brendan, and the other for Shelly..
and since everyone will 'assume' J+J vote the same way in either case, it won't be too easy to assume that J+J are the ones who voted for Shelly or Brendan...
This way Shelly or Rachel can't blame J+J

BTW isn't it generally endurance right after a HG gets back in the house? Season 9 James won HOH and broke his deal with Natalie... Season 6 it was the glass box veto when Kaysar came back and he was screwed over by a deal as well that week... Amy came back Season 3 and won that bath-tub endurance... Logistically they couldn't do it as the first HOH after evictee's return because the comp was already set up in the backyard for Brendon/Lawon... all the more reason to suspect endurance tomorrow for me!

That would be smart for J&J to vote for different people. I never thought of that. But I'm guessing they didn't either.

I think they are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for. But they definitely don't have the genius mastermind capabilities of Dani. If they did vote seperately it would most likely mean eviction for Brendon with a 4-2 vote which is fine by me. But right now they are leaning towards trying to keep Brendon.
How does Dani know that they did an interview with her dad?????? Sounds like DR is telling her stuff.

For those who chatted about it last night, i just saw pics that Dick tweeted of Dani and Vincent, Dani's hair was blonde as a child and it still was 10 years ago as well so i think her hair may be naturally blonde....or maybe dark blonde by now!

@Grendon...I hear you re Brendon's eating. I can't stand to see him shovel it down. But the food looks really good especially if one hasn't had lunch! Do you find that when they are snacking in the house it makes you want to go grab something also? LOL.

About the only incite we will get into Dani's game this afternoon is bonding with Adam. That's a good idea on her part. She covers her bases well. Much better than the others.

Earlier OC Man said Jordon and Jeff should vote seperately. After thinking about it, I think it would be great.
If Adam convinces Jeff that Brendon has no chance of staying, Jeff has to know that Adam, Porsche and Kalia are voting to keep Shelly and that if it's a tie Dani will evict Brendon. Everyone knows that Rachel will vote to keep Brendon and everyone assumes J&J will vote together. If J&J split the votes it makes it 4-2 to evict Brendon. Then chaos and confusion take over.
Shelly is firmly on J&J's side because she thinks they voted to keep her. Dani thinks there is dissension in the ranks and one of her soldiers is not loyal. She also thinks, "Oh snap! If J&J had voted to evict Shelly my plan would have been foiled and the zombie would have remained to walk among the living."
Porsche, Kalia and Adam are now all suspicious of each other. They are so busy accusing each other and defending themselves that they all start to look guilty. You know the saying, "I thinketh they doth protest to much."
Rachel is desperate to find out where the second vote came from thinking maybe someone wants to have a secret alliance with her. P,K & A avoid her like the plague because they don't want to be guilty by association.
This doesn't change much for J&J. They still have the same allies-Shelly and to some extent, Adam. But it takes some of the attention off them making people think there are other fish to fry or other targets to aim for. And since J&J supposedly did what Dani wanted and Shelly was on the block, the three of them can still be nice to Rachel so she's not all alone. I said I would never be sympathetic to her again but the human in me came out. After Brendon leaves I wouldn't want to see her shunned by the whole house.
No! I still haven't gotten mine! How do you like it???? Maybe mine will be here tomorrow.....
