BB13: Tuesday Wake-up, Aug 16

Good Morning BB Dishers!

Today, first and foremost, we need to find out where Daniele's head really is. So, we'll be  scouring the live feeds for answers!

As far as the game stands, Brendon and Shelly are on the block. Shelly is super confident and cheerful mostly as a result of getting the precious phone call with her family, but partially because of the reassurances she has had from Daniele and Adam what she's safe this week. On the other hand, as evidenced in his discussion with Adam in the early morning hours, Jeff is pushing to keep Brendon in the house as a wall between him and the nomination chair. In a further baffling turn of events, Daniele had a brief pow wow with Brendon and Rachel, telling them that she wants to talk to morrow but she's sure they have Jeff and Jordan, adding that she will work on Porsche. Oddly however, to everyone else, including her closest ally, she is adamant about Brendon being her target. What are you up to Daniele?

They're up!

• Brendon and Porsche are chatting in the kitchen. Porsche goes back to bed.
• Adam and Shelly are in the backyard. Adam is telling Shelly all about his discussion with Jeff last night. We comes in mid-conversation...

Adam: I mean, obviously you've got to go through the scenarios. I kept telling him ...Dude, we're not going to get many other chances to do this.
Shelly: He already told me they're voting for me...
Adam: Yeah, but he was like... I just hope we're doing the right thing... (And Adam said, ) Dude, we're doing the right thing.... I know why he's nervous, cause he's next on their chopping block.
Shelly: Keeping Brendon is not going to keep him in the game. Rachel and Brendon will throw anyone under the bus.
Adam: Right, right...
Shelly: They've already chucked him 10 times.
Adam: And he knows that...he knows that. He's just afraid that...
Shelly: They're afraid I'm going to vote Rachel out because they know I don't want her here.
Adam: Right.
Shelly: They need her.
Adam: Right.
Shelly: Which I understand that but I will not like Rachel. I will... I'm a team player. I'll look out for the team 100%. But if I... if anybody thinks that this next time I'm going to babysit Rachel...
Adam: No.
Shelly: And give her her pep talks and outwardly protect her? It ain't gonna happen.
Adam: What he's afraid of and it makes perfect sense is, if...
Shelly: It does me no good if he goes.
Adam: Who?
Shelly: Jeff.
Adam: Oh, yeah... That's why... it's all coming down to one of us has to win HOH this week.
Shelly: Absolutely. No matter what, now there's no excuse. You have to win or you're going home. I mean, if I don't win a competition I'm going to be out the door soon. I know that.
Adam: And that's... and that's basically what it comes down to.

• Brendon comes out and the conversation changes to music. 
• Shelly goes inside and talk turns to sleeping. Brendon says he's so grateful and that they slept so much better on Porsche's ex-bed. Talk turns to being spoiled or not depending on life experience or lack thereof, and then family.
• Shelly comes back out and Rachel is up. Talk outside goes back to music.

• Adam goes back to bed and Rachel comes out. Brendon greets her but Shelly doesn't. Talk goes from politics to sleeping and weather. Then back to politics, which news casters are Liberal or Conservative. Brendon and Shelly are doing all the talking.
• Talk turns to College tuitions. Rachel says that casinos in Vegas will help with College tuition. Brendon goes to get more coffee, and the conversation between Shelly and Rachel continues onto tipping in casinos, then onto the benefits casinos give their employees who are unionized. 
• This discussion is quite a fascinating look into the Vegas industry... Check it out on flashback. (F1 and 2, starting around 9:05 am BBT)
• It's 9:44 AM BBT, and this conversation is ongoing. It's pleasant and polite. On F3 and 4, Porsche and Adam are snuggled in their beds.

• Shelly goes in a few minutes later to get her vitamins. Rachel comments that everyone was up late. Jeff was up late with Adam (something about working on his vote). Brendon says (*correctly) that he doesn't have Adam's vote. Rachel wants to talk to Porsche, telling her that she's safe in a personable way without making deals they can't stick with.
• Shelly comes out and ends that line of discussion. Shelly tells Rachel that it must have been hard for her to give up the money in Vegas. Rachel agrees that it was hard but they told her she will have a job waiting for her, and the conversation continues along those lines. She recounts that they said, she wouldn't be able to continue as a cocktail waitress so they offered her a job as a VIP Manager which didn't pay as much with more responsibility and no union benefits. When she did return, that job was cut.
• Brendon hops onto the elliptical and the discussion continues with the two women.
• At 10:15 AM BBT, Shelly goes inside. Brendon is on the elliptical. Brendon says that he has a decent shot of staying. Rachel wonders what Daniele would do with tie-breaker.  Brendon thinks she would vote him out. Rachel says that it's stupid because she needs a strong competitor and if Daniele votes him out, she won't work with her.
• BB tells Brendon to put on his microphone and Rachel goes inside to get some fruit. 
• Shelly is straightening up around the house.

• 10:22 AM BBT, this is what's happening.

• 10:39 AM BBT, the usual suspects... (*BB can you please blare some death metal?)
• Rachel and Shelly comment yet again about how much people sleep in the house.
• 11:00 AM BBT, Brendon is running. Shelly is doing laundry. Rachel is doing dishes. Shelly thanks her for doing the dishes and Rachel thanks her for cleaning all the time. The rest are one with their beds or off camera.
• Rachel finishes washing dishes and goes outside to read the Bible. Shelly is still puttering. Brendon has gone inside presumably to shower. The rest.... are imitating various vegetables. :)
• Brendon comes out and asks Rachel if she wants breakfast. She declines, asking if she wants him to make it for her. He says it's okay.
• Brendon is called to DR. (11:17 AM BBT) *Hey BB! Why don't you call someone who is SLEEPING?
• 11:26 AM BBT, Rachel is still reading. Shelly has moved on to cleaning the outside windows. (Don't blame the updater, blame the game!)
• Rachel goes inside to get some workout clothes. Porsche lifts her eye cover to see who it is, and goes back to sleep.
• She goes to the bathroom to change. And finds a pixie!!

• They talk about sleeping etc... the usual morning chatter. BB tells Jordan to put on her microphone. She puts on her tutu and goes to get it. The feeds stay with Rachel.
• Jordan comes back and Rachel goes outside to workout. The feeds stay with Jordan.
• 11:49 AM BBT, Shelly is smoking on F1 and 3. Rachel is stretching on F2 and 4. (Way to switch things up Skippy! you're getting creative! *eyeroll)
• Feeds switch to Jordan in the kitchen.
• Brendon comes out of DR and greets Jordan cheerfully. She asks him how his Dr was. He says that he did what everyone else did yesterday in DR.
• Jordan goes to DR. It's a short visit. She comes out to the backyard. Shelly greets her exuberantly.
• Rachel is still working out.
