Pandora's Box hits the Big Brother 14 House - Spoiler & Immediate Aftermath
Good afternoon, BB Lovers! After Frank had been locked out of the HoH Room for hours and the HGs had been locked inside for quite a while too, the live feeds went to trivia at 1:12pm BBT! It's time for Pandora's Box to hit the BB14 House...- Frank opened Pandora's Box and won money, in the neighborhood of $3000.. That's what he's telling the HGs. We'll see if he tells us differently on the live feeds later..
- Ian can't play in the PoV, but he won a veto power ball, so he'll to be able to remove someone from the block. Frank tells Ian that if he uses it on Dan, he will put Britney up.
- Dan is talking as though he won a power as well, but he didn't.. He;s just excited that there are 2 PoVs in circulation for the week - Ian's and the Comp.
3pm - Feeds are back!
Brit: I knew Dan was gonna win it... and Jenn was tryin' her hardest too.. Dan went at that machine like 8 times. If I'd had as many coins as Dan I would've had it.
Dan said something about 2 vetos, as soon as the feeds came back on..

Dan: I'm gonna go up to Frank and be like, I didn't know.. Now I want him to put us both up..
Dani: He's going to.. Or he'll put Ian up, and then backdoor us.
Dan: But only 1 person isn't going to play Veto. I hope he doesn't put Ian up. We shouldn't have told Frank anything.
Dani; About what?
Dan: The veto.
Dani: I don't know where Ian's allegiance lies.
Dan: If the perfect scenario works out where you and I are up..
**Sounds like Dan won something in the Pandora's Box to keep them both safe this week..
Dan: Shane and Joe have to go up. We'll keep Shane. If you or I won it, that would be a waste of a veto.
Dani: What's the something bad?
Dan: That was the bad thing for Frank..
Dani: No that's not it. We just got a double win. Nothing bad has happened..
Dan: But it's something good. Oh my God.. I'm so glad I didn't rat him out. We can keep 4 out of the 5 safe this week.

Dan: If Ian takes me off the block, you or her will go up, and then we'll have 3 votes. I would rather dump it and have you save her.. We have a shot man..
Shane: We do..
Dan: It would get flushed out.. I'd have to waste it on me..So same scenario, except Ian's got the power. As long as he doesn't put Ian up as a nomination...
Dani: He's nominate Dan and Ian..
Shane: At least we know he doesn't have a power.
Dan: There's no way he has a power.
Shane: He can't be nominated.. Just me or Brit have to win.. Like you said, we had zero chance, and now we have..
Dan: We have a chance.
Britney enters..
Brit: Ian says he feels like the scum of the earth..
Dan: Do you think if the perfect scenario came open where you won veto, he would use it? As long as he gets nominated, we can talk him into it.
Brit: I don't think he's gonna get nominated. I need to go find Ian. Sorry, Dani.

Dani: How did Boogie know immediately that it was Ian. I can't believe he knew I was a nurse. Did you tell him?

Frank: I feel bad for her. She made the choice to work with Mike and I, and it bit her. She actually really surprised me and Mike this past week. She actually had a gamer side of her that was very.. (fishies)
Dan: I understand what you've gotta do, I respect it, but I'm saying if you miss, it doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna bite you.
Frank: Even sitting here having this convo with you makes me 2nd guess what I'm doing, but I also know I've narrowly escaped 5 times now..
Dan: I think, when it's all said and done, if I survive, things could get interesting. And I would appreciate if that stays between us..
Frank: I agree.. It's important to always have that ace up your sleeve..
Dan: That's the thing, and I think you play the same way, it's never personal for me.. Stranger things have happened. That's the big thing I wanted to tell you. I understand what you have to do. No hard feelings. You may feel differently than me, but if I'm still on the block, I don't see who I could beat (to get off).
Frank: Not only is it crazy to be in here, but it's crazy to be in here with you guys and the twists.. and Ian's crazy ass.
Dan: If I did survive this week, I think your boy would get a kick out of it if we did get together.. That's it. Good luck on noms, man.

Ok from what I gather, someone can not be nominated. Own won a gold ball where he can not play in this weeks veto if is is not nominated. Dan won a power too save himself and one other person. Frank won 3 grand, and there is one more of some sort of power just can't figure it out.

It seems like Ian won it, which gives them a chance to all stay in the house. Say Dani and Dan are on the block, Ian takes Dan off - Shane goes up as the renom, Britney and Dan can win veto and take Dani and/or Shane off and they'd have the votes.
Caro - Dani was asking how Boogie knew Ian was the vote to evict him I think.

A fan favorite considers the fans and Dan's game has been so quiet on top of being so reclusive that as much as I like him he is losing me.
Brit is playing the middle perfectly at the moment. Ian is acting like true wild card. Who knows where he stands now?
It will be interesting. My first instinct is that Brit and Ian are both interested in working with Frank for the reals

Caroline, I think what happened is Ian won a golden veto that would allow him to take veto one of F's nominations, without himself going up as a replacement. They will still have the veto competition, and there will still be a regular veto that can be used.
So, assuming Dan and Dani are the nominees, Dan is saying, Ian could veto Dan's nomination. Both Dan and Ian would be safe.
Then, if either Shane or Britney won the regular veto, they could veto Dani's nomination making both themselves and Dani safe.
As such, while one of the four would end up on the block, the replacement would have to be either Jenn or Joe. Meaning all five could stay, because four of them would be off of the block. Potentially.
I think Ian will help the Quack Pack. He seems very invested in this alliance and will stick with it. Sure maybe the actual situation is that he's the fifth member but I don't think he's seeing it that way.

Every word that comes out of Dan's mouth to Frank is carefully worded, well thought-out, calculated and strategic.
Dan always knows what he is doing. Even when things don't go the way he planned, he simply regroups, re-focuses, adjusts his sights, and moves forward.
He is a marvel to watch.

Okay, I finally understand what happened. Well, there is hope for the Quack Pack now though it is a very very slim chance. I wonder if Frank is going to nominate Ian though. Though it would be easy for him to nominate Ian so he would only use the veto on himself, doing so could push Ian away. Now I'm interested in what's going on Frank's mind.
Does anyone know if Ian can use his veto right after nominations or at POV ceremony? It would probably make sense to use it at the ceremony but it would be interesting if it happened right after nominations.

Ok from my understanding there's this veto that Ian just won and the regular veto so all of the quack pack can stay but from Brit's reaction she seems like she may have jumped ship and doesn't care if Dan goes home. I'm sure Dan or Dani will better explain her understanding of things and she may stay on board with the original QP so long as one of them wins the other veto.
Now Dan asking Dani if Joe or Jen may have understood about the ratting out of Ian comment he made she said no but Jenn definitely knows and if wise will tell Frank so she doesn't go up as a replacement nom if the QP wins the regular veto.
I don't know how I feel I just know I don't want the QP in tact whether Dan, Dani or Shane goes. I just want Brit and Ian to be safe and of course Frank since he deserves to be there whether a good sport or not. I wish he'd put up Shane and Dan then if either wins replace them with Dani and the QP will draw their lines in the sand - sorry I had to use that since theyve been using it so darn much lately. When will Frank realize he doesn't have to prove himself to them no matter what he does someone isn't going to like his decisions and/or him.

I believe Brit is working on her game while working with Frank. She's willing to work with him this week with game talk and info just to get Dan out. Blood on Frank's hands not hers. Also she can go back to QP and say she was trying to work him to not put Ian up but couldn't. So Frank trust her then next week gets snaked again by the rest of the QP. Honestly smart move for her this week. Take out Dan smartest player gamewise in the game and next week roll with the QP to get the most physical threat out Frank. Then whos left Brit and her two boys then Dani and the 2 floaters I almost consider Dani a floater again she hasnt done much. If this is how it goes Brit has a chance to win. Brit must love getting Brigaded. From what I understand, putting Ian up is an auto backdoor shot to take out Dan. Ian automatically comes off Dan goes up unless he wins the Veto or dupes Frank yet again

Here is my thoughts. Remember the box with the ? On it in the claw machine? Maybe there was a claw machine with vetoes in it and they had to hunt for coins to use to try to win them. Just a guess.

Who I like and why:
Quack Pack. They might be my favorite alliance. Each one seems to be pulling their own weight. They have worked very well together thus far with both trusting and risking. Shane is good with physical comps. Danielle has an amazing memory and really knows her sh*t when it comes to what has happened in the game. Britney is playing an excellent social game in my opinion - she can be friendly and funny with anyone anytime. Dan has taken plenty of heat and kept a cool head about it and is so so so good with his manipulation. Ian, well, I don't think I need to say much about him. It's obvious - he's awesome.
Danielle drives me insane and I flip cams when she comes on, but I have to give her and Shane props for being newbies and not knowing much about past seasons and the game - they are doing really well.
Right now I'd like to see shane, ian, dan and britney in final four with Shane winning it all.

I still think Brit is making a great game move for herself..I'll be honest I'm not a big Brit fan. I give credit thou her social game is always on and it protects her moves and from not winning comps yet...I just don't like her in this game cause she has made smart moves for her but I don't like them from my viewer stand point.

Yes i agree the QP is a solid alliance and has worked well together. I hate typing that lol but give props when due i guess. They struck at the right moment. If they waited one more week CHILLTOWN would of been in full force. I would of liked to see how the house would of went with the QP Versus FAMJenn. I like Boogie always have but some of the comments about him not being as strong without DR Will is true I firmly believe he would of not allowed Ian into the mix like Mike did.

Any HG who wants to win 500k should want Frank out, but simply because he's a beast at competitions not a full time bully. I think being in the BB House will make a person do and or say things out of their character, but the way I see it, it is a television show, aiming to captivate the audience in any way possible. And of all the HG, I give kudos to Frank for always giving love to his Fam, the fans, monologues to let us know what he's thinking...I'm personally rooting for Shane to win but If Frank does, he worked damn hard for it. I'm all for alliances and staying loyal, eventually there's only one person who can take the grand prize though. This game changes so much, so fast. And I love it for that!

The one thing I have noticed since Boogie left. Frank is so much more pleasant. I haven't heard or read any negative comments about anybody.
Even Ian and Ashley acted very negative around Boogie. Boogie just has a negative aura I feel.

On the Shane topic here's my tidbits. He is very loyal and somewhat athletic. On a regular season of BB I don't think he would of made it this far. Reasons being I think he would be a huge threat to new people like he was this year. Only thing that saved him was coaches knowing they might come in and could how you say ummmm use him. In a reg season people would look to him to make moves cause he is strong in the comps. I feel he would of made a misstep somewhere early. As far as this year goes he has done well props to him.
I'm just waiting for the feeds to come back, then i'll be taking off.
Have to get a good night's sleep if I'm spending the afternoon with my 3 nieces tomorrow.

Yeah Michigan I agree as well. I said it last night Frank really only did his real bashing with Boogie. Boogie has that quality that draws you into him I think. Also you know he is going to run and taddle on you for what you say. He is more of the type to vent and move on. Frank might of won a regular season with all newbies.

I hate to jump in on a touchy subject and my intentions are not to keep any negativity going but facts are facts. Frank has called Ian, and just about every other male in the house the 3-letter word. But it was in rants he was having with Mike Malin who lets so many wrong words fly I can't keep up.
And, yes, I do believe Britney used the word about Ian a few nights ago. I recall posting about it. She got the fa_ out but feeds cut to fish before she finished with the g. I remember posting about it and I believe it happened about 5 AM, but I don't remember if it was GCT or BBT. I just remember it was after Lessa went to bed and before TOR started.

Hi Carolyn and all...I am on team Frank...guess it's the underdog thing, and really he has been very good under pressure. If anyhting he has a blind spot for Ian...he forgives him almost anything. I would love it if Ian would stick with him. I do like Britney this season and Ian is great too...I'd like to see that final 3. Love this site and love everybody's thoughts. When I don't even know what I'm thinking it helps to get others perspectives.. Hi Caro believe me I've been here in the background. My sister and another friend "forced" me to go to the casino overnight last night. I really didn't want to go on such busy BB night but I stayed in the room a long time watching the show and then watching the feed on my IPad. But I'm glad I went because I won $3000 dollars!

We have been so used to 24/7 gaming that tonight's feeds are so boring. Frank went to bed right after BBAD started. Shane and Joe have been sleeping since before that.
The other 5 are just having a pleasant night, with Ian on the hammock alone and Britney, Jenn, Dan and Danielle on the outdoor patio just passing time with random conversation.
And as I am typing, everyone's favorite eye candy, Shane has awakened and joined the patio crew.
