Amanda: I'll stand up for you.
Aaryn: She's trying to ruin my life.
McCrae: When you put her up, stroke her ego. You're a strong woman..

McCrae: So what do you think?
Helen: Candice has to go up. She did ask me to speak on her behalf though.. So here I am (paraphrasing)
Aaryn's defense of putting Candice up is that she believes she is not a racist, and Candice is painting her to be one.. thereby endangering her outside of the game. (**her words of complete denial were so shocking to me, my fingers froze.)
Aaryn: I'm not doing it to be mean.
Helen: For me, as long as Amanda stays, I don't really care who goes up as the 3rd nominee. She knows about the deal. Jessie alluded that she leaked it. As long as Howard goes home, I don't care. I think he knows his days are numbered at this point. It's successful.
Aaryn: It's sad. He knows how to pull on heartstrings.. It's gonna be hard.
Helen: Every week is gonna be that much harder and harder.
Andy: You're sitting pretty this week, girl.
Helen: You need to trust us.
Amanda: I do.. I'm just worried about something weird happening..
**like a coup d'etat.

Judd: Sounds like someone's birthin' a baby.
Spencer: I gotta win HoH next week. I feel like I'm next to go after Howard.
Judd: I don't think so.. I don't get the logic in it..
Spencer: I don't either. (pause) I can't believe I won the Power of Veto.
Judd: I can. I was rootin' for ya. You did a lot better than I thought.. maybe cuz I'm bad at puzzles..
Spencer: If I can survive 2 more weeks, I'm in jury.
Judd: Would I be the biggest white trash ever in BB history if I got drunk on mouth wash?
Spencer: Yeah, you would be.

I know what you are saying Melissa. Amanda has been demanding in the house and I wanted her to go up and stay on the block for the week so maybe just maybe she will tone it down. I don't want her to go home but I do want her to calm it down or she is gonna turn into a Jeremy and we all know where he ended up because of his behavior. The house doesn't like bullies and she is starting to turn into one.

@ Good Times, I agree Amanda has been pushy lately. The same could be said for Helen too. In my opinion she's been worse. I really liked Helen at first, but lately she just seems to be a bit too manipulative for my taste. The whole "I cry to get my way" thing really killed her for me.

I can not believe these HGs and how they still question who the MVP is.
Amanda needed to know what it feels like to be up on the block. I enjoyed seeing the look on her face. You can tell exactly what she was thinking, and she couldn't think of nothing else. I don't dislike her, but she needed something keep her from becoming over confident.
I think an interesting POV win would be Candice. I'd like to who Aaryn would put up in Howard's place,

I'm home and caught up on posts.
The Conjuring was good. It made me jump at least 8 times and I don't jump easy.
A lot of people said Amanda was telling Aaryn and Jessie to drop in the POV so Amanda could win. I may have missed a conversation that took place while I was gone but the conversation she was having when I was watching wasn't about them throwing the comp. She was talking about a specific comp that made the HGs try to judge when an hour had passed. She said the trick to one of them winning was for each of them to time it off the other 3 (Candice, Spencer and Howard). As soon as one of those three dropped one of the other three had to drop immediately after. People figured out the trick to beating that comp several years ago.

I think racist is a strong charge. I will say from my knowledge of what I've heard Aaryn say, "racially insensitive" would be a more appropriate term. I just think "racist" should be saved for the worst. Aaryn really has no option but to put up Candice no matter what her skin color is

With all due respect to everyone...racially insensitive is something that I think everyone has been guilty of. It's just what the word says...not being sensitive enough. I would call the statement Aaryn made about watching what you say in the dark...qualifies as racist because it was based solely on the color of Candice's skin. I'm' not a Candice fan, but that has nothing to do with what Aaryn has done and excusing it as insensitive is part of the problem we have as a country. It''s intolerable.

I am getting irritated that Candice says Jessie shoudn't have cried for Howard if she is not going to stand up and vote Amanda out. Basically she thinks Jessie was faking the emotion or that she's brainless or a coward.
It is possible to have feelings for people even though you aren't aligned with them. Sometimes it's easier to be aligned with people that you don't necessarily like but still have a good working relationship with. It makes it easier to cut them in the end.
Also, I know Candice doesn't have a twist tie engagement ring, but she is every bit as solidly attached to Howard as Amanda is to McCrae meaning, if they are both in final 3 she would choose him for final 2. Because of that they are every bit as much of a threat as Amanda and McCrae.
Dripping irony and certainly of some concern to CBS and AGP. Aaryn, the player they profiled for two weeks as a bigot will be responsible for nominating the two African American contestants.
Few outside of those following the game will understand this is more strategy than a master plan by the young lady but it will certainly raise eyebrows, possibly the ire of those that watch for injustices, actual or perceived. Personally I like Howard and Candice, never figured how Howard became so hated.

I am so sick and tired of how these men talk about the women in the house. The names they are called is so disrespectful. What gives them the right to refer to woman as bitches, c--ts and the sexual remarks.
Do they not have sisters, mothers etc. How would they feel if there loved ones were called these names.
Many woman lose their lives each day for this country and we deserve way more respect.

Howard prayed for Aaryn and does not believe she is a racist. Howard is a black man. If Howard can forgive Aaryn and even pray for Aaryn then I, as a white woman, am not going to keep talking about it.
I am also a mother. Although I hope my children never do something as disappointing as what Aaryn has done, I know never to judge or speak too soon. Someday your children will be adults and regardless of how they are raised, you do not always control the kind of adults they become. Especially at the age when they are trying to find themselves and to become independent of their parents. As much as my children could possibly disappoint me someday, I will always love them and worry about them.
If Aaryn is ever to have a chance to learn anything from this, it's not going to happen if people aren't willing to give her a chance.

I tend to agree "Show The Love". AGP will definitely be pushing Aaryn to consider the question. Elissa might be the compromise, Aaryn's 'deal' with Elissa notwithstanding, in which case E might walk out the door.

With Elissa acting crazy lately, it seems like a good time to put her up in Spencer's place. Yes, Candice will probably go up so she can't vote for Howie to stay, but it would sure be a blindside.
Elissa assumes she has McC, Helen, Andy, Judd, and Jessie to vote Howie out, but it would be a big payback for Aaryn to re-nom Elissa since Elissa was trying to flip the vote 10 minutes before the live vote and she (Aaryn) could justify the Elissa renom.
At one time or another, Helen, Judd, McC, Andy, and several others have realized Elissa is a loose cannon. She is not valuable without her automatic MVP power and she has a big mouth.
Everyone wants Howard out, but last week it was unanimous that Aaryn had to go. If Helen et al make the same deal with Howard that they made with Aaryn, they could blindside Elissa with a big acting job from Aaryn.
Aa could stage a fight with Helen and "go-back" on her deal after she re-noms Elissa. Candice will surely vote Amanda out. Helen, McC, Spencer, Andy, Judd, and Jessie are enough to send Elissa out. GM would probably make it 7-1-0.
Besides, AGP will probably steer Aaryn away from putting Candice up with all the racial implications. It seems Elissa has outlived her usefulness, so I could see her going up and out.

I saw and heard her do all those things, and my insensitive charge was not in response to anything in the comments section. I was reading the update and felt a need to post my opinion. I dont see Aaryn as a racist. I think racists are irredeamable, filled with hate, and beyond change. I dont think Aaryn is any of those, not yet anyway
MVP replaces their nominee, not the HOH nominees. MVP is Amanda. Since she didn't win the MVP replacement isn't a issue. Aaryn's, thd HOH, nominee won & we know he's gonna use it on himself, she picks the replacement.

I don't know why the HG haven't realized that Howard only has Candice and Spencer, but Amanda has 8 other people doing her bidding. Whether they like Amanda or not, this is going to be one of their few chances to get her out.
I wonder if when Howard goes the widows will welcome Candice into their coven.
11:06pm cams 3/4 Aaryn and Judd discuss who should go this week and they both think it be better if Howard were in jury rather than Candice. They are also discussing Helen. Judd for sure has some issues with Helen.
11:31pm Helen comes up with a whacky theory for MVP. She thinks the last person voted out is now MVP. She thinks Kaitlin made the noms.
Also Candice is floating the idea of getting Helen, Elissa and whoever to vote out Amanda over her. If she goes up. Helen is mad at Judd and saying he kissing Spencer's butt. Candice still thinks the alliance with Howard, Spencer, Kaitlin, GM and Judd was fake. She can't accept that Howard would make an alliance without her. Helen says she'll try but she has already talked to Aaryn and said she told Candice earlier she would talk on her behalf and she did but she didn't.
11:42pm Candice calls out Helen as running the house. Helen deflects of course but not well, she runs out of the room saying "she'll try" when clearly she won't because she wants Howard gone. She may push for Candice now, if/when she goes up just so she doesn't have to deal with it.
Helen is so stressed out she is smoking in the house it sounds like. BB called her out and said you can only smoke on the patio. Okay sounds like she was over by the hammock. Jessie gave her the cigarette.
11:55pm cams 3/4 Helen and Jessie discuss Candice and why they can't take out Amanda, yet. Helen really wants Howard out.
Candice is losing her mind and talking about people lying to her and Howard leaves the room LOL The person lying to you the most Candice is Howard, you're being played and now he's using you without even trying.
Judd is no longer my Fav - in fact, I don't have a fav this year as they're all equally disgusting except for Howard. Judd has started calling Elissa a B**tch and he now calls Candice a "Gold digging wh*re. The appalling way they all talk about Candice makes me ill. (even Andy is getting in on this) And Amanda is the worst. These people are horrible.

Today is National Hepatitis Awareness Day so I will be off to City Park at 10 AM GCT to participate in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record for "See No Evil, Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil"
I had hepatitis in 1980, a year before meeting DQTD, and I believe my cirrhosis is a result of that Summer of sleep and nausea and weight loss. I need to support the cause and do even more. I would donate my body to science but I think they would just give it back... too used.

Happy Sanity Sunday Dishers! Carolyn, I hope you fully enjoy your day off. Well, sorta day off...as there is never a *full* day that you are not here at some point or another. You truly are dedicated, and for that I extend my deepest gratitude and admiration :-)
Jumbo - I hope you are right and Amanda stays safe. I just know how Helen seems to say one thing, then gets a bug in her ear and next thing you know she is completely flipped, all the while acting like any idea she is spewing was hers from the start. She changes her opinion so often, and in front of so many different people, that I can't believe how anyone can still believe anything that comes out of her mouth. I know there are a lot of people who don't like Amanda's gameplay, planting seeds and letting others get the blood on their hands while she hasn't won anything herself. But the fact is, she hasn't won anything, so the way she is doing things IS a legitimate strategy. Now whether she hasn't won because of bad luck, or poor skills, whatever...who knows? But when you don't win, you gotta figure out a way to still have the course of the game go in your favor, and I'd have to say she isn't half bad at it. I wouldn't say she's running the house, like some people have said, cuz if she really was, then Howard would already be gone.
Grendon - I'm glad you enjoyed the movie. My hubby and I want to see that one too. I have loved scary movies since I was a kid, and I have to say, there haven't been too many in the past 10-15 yrs that actually have made me jump, so now I really wanna see this one!

Melissa I am with you about Helen she has gotten way too big for her bb panties and the whole HOHitis has not stopped...sorry she can leave anytime ~ as far as Amanda she is playing a good game or was...but rather her stay and Candice go I shudder when listening to her voice and her comments ......
1:00am cams 3/4 Elissa and Candice are still talking and she brings up what many feeders have, that two black people will go up when Aaryn is HOH. Elissa mentions what I mentioned earlier that Howard just walked out on her while she was crying. Candice says that Howard is just a man of few words and that he left so they could talk. Elissa is trying to get Candice to see what Howard is all about. Candice says we, her and Howard, have a strange relationship.
Cams flip to backyard and Howard is talking to Judd and Jessie while they play pool. He's planting seeds of doubt which for some reason Judd already has towards Helen. Jessie tells Howard of her conversation with Candice and that she would be open to talking with Howard about something changing. Candice was just aggressive in her approach.
Candice goes and finds Howard to ask Howard why he walked out of the room. He says he walked out on Elissa because she was lying. He didn't like Elissa being there. What Elissa said to Candice sunk in pretty deep.
Elissa reports the conversation to McCranda.
Now Candice is saying that it looks like Howard is letting her self con-bust so she'll go home instead. Candice is harder to listen to than GM. Candice says "it's over now there's no apologizing now". Elissa got into her head so well. I didn't think that was nothing but Elissa hit her hard with a mind game and it worked. Elissa comes back and Howard explains why he walked away. Elissa says several times that she's never taken the time to talk to Howard one on one and she doesn't seem to plan to either.
If you can stand it watch this conversation because it is nuts.
Time check is 1:20am and it's dissolved into tears by Candice and quiet contemplation by Howard.
1:45am maybe a minute or two after, still on cams 3/4
Candice admits the "fake" alliance was real and she wasn't a part of it. Howard is saying she was just because she's with him. She was in it by default. Howard now says that the alliance was a trap to see who would tell the other side and Kaitlin got caught in it. Howard says that Candice needs to stop hanging out with Elissa, she's the problem.
2:00am cams 3/4 "Lover's" quarrel
Non of this would've happened if Elissa hadn't mind f*cked Candice into thinking that Howard did something wrong by leaving the room. Candice would not have gone to this place without that big shove from Elissa. Turns out she doesn't have other assets to offer to her alliance without even knowing it.
2:15am cams 3/4 It continues
I know you might get tired of reading it but Elissa messed her up. OMG this is the newest hat or bed flip in her mind. She won't let it go. Now I know why I flip cams when these two talk because it's insane. Candice gets one thing in her mind and she can't let it go.
2:15am cams 1/2 McCrae and Spencer have a convo. Spencer is trying to flip the house. McCrae says it's you, me and Amanda going forward. Spencer says why don't we get rid of Candice. He's pushing this hard.
Aaryn is going to wear Spencer's Property of Conway Freight shirt for the POV ceremony since Spenser is coming down.
3:20am cams 1/2
Howard and Spencer meet
Howard asks Spencer if he's got a deal with McCranda. Spencer says that they wanted to be with both of them but the things that Candice was saying reflected on him. Howard pushing for Amanda out as well. Spencer tells Howard that Candice messed it up and it can't happen. Spencer says to mend fences with McCranda and play a great social game and let Candice go. Howard brings up going to Helen and we get fish so this will clearly play into the story line this week.
3:55am all cams Howard goes outside and talks to McCranda and Judd.
10:57am cams 1/2 Judd compares Amanda to Dr. Will as being smart about the game and she would win against anyone. A very good reason to get her out this week.
11:01am
Judd says "I don't think Aaryn's raciest at all" Helen says she'll watch the show afterwards and decide then. They talk about all the race issues.
Back to end game. Who goes and who goes to jury.
Off to work so that's it for updates from me.

Grendon where are you??? I am dying to hear your take on the mess that was Helen last night! I even felt sorry for Candice because of the way Helen went from group to group telling her twisted take on their conversation. She almost surpassed Shelly last night.
She was so afraid Candice would beat her to the punch and tell about her alliance with Candice and Elissa that she spent the rest of the night bad mouthing her. Now this morning she is back at it with Judd.
I thought the alliance between Judd, Andy, McCray and Amanda was solid but listening to Judd this morning I'm not so sure.
Time will tell. I reallllllly don't want Helen to go to the end. She's a snake that has some nerve talking about all the alliances Howard had. I think she has more. I wish Candice would out her because I think Amanda might put it all together with just a little hint.

I hear you. Aaryn's comments are ugly, hurtful, and wrong. Its just my personal opinion that I haven't seen enough to label her as a racist. She may in fact hate black people and minorities, but she may also just be an ignorant young girl thats a product of her environment.
