Happy Thursday & Happy 2 weeks til the Premiere of Big Brother 12! 14 short days from now, we'll all be gathered together here, in front of our tv sets, and... enjoying our first glimpse of the Live Feeds! I'm so psyched right now, I can barely type, but we got quite a bit of juicy info in the past 24 hours, so type I shall.

OK.. first up: In addition to BB9Chelsia & BB6/7Janelle, BB11Jordan will be joining the festivities on real.com!

No one knows exactly what role Jordan will take just yet, only that she'll be a part of the BB12 experience for live feed subscribers.

Last night on twitter, a very interesting new account showed up: @CornerOffice12. For those of you not familiar with CornerOffice, he or she has been posting very solid tips on RealityBBQ for years... However, the owner of RealityBBQ sold the site to someone new, so who knows if that will continue...

Anyway, Back to @CornerOffice12! At first, I was very skeptical... I saw the account and thought, ok, now that's clever! Talk about a way to get a gazillion bb followers but fast! And I did nothing... for about a half an hour.

***UPDATE: I should have stuck with my initial reaction! As of 8pm tonight, @CornerOffice12 is no more, and the person who created the account has changed the name to that of another site. Clever? Indeed. Someone I'll continue to follow? That's already been handled. - poof - gone.

But, since we all make mistakes, and I've never been one to hide from mine, here's the rest of it. Just read on knowing that the following is complete and utter b.s...

Then I decided, what the heck, it costs nothing to follow someone on twitter and this person *could* be legit! Either way, it could be a very fun ride, right?!

I announced his existence to the followers of @BigBrotherDish on twitter, and voila, followers started pouring in, and @CornerOffice12 started delivering clues... one even specifically to me, albeit to the wrong twitter account, but his intention was clear. Either way, I was flattered as all get out, both to be the first site addressed directly, and that he/she knew that my site is commonly referred to as BBDish. ☺



As of this writing, he/she's up to 592 followers. He/She's promised to deliver a new clue for every 100... So far we've had 2 or 3 clues:

• Come and dance on our floor, Take a step that is new. We've a loveable space that needs your face -- Big Brother 12 (one two)

This one is a clear reference to the theme song for Three's Company... hmm... guesses came pouring in...

OK... new subject! Don't forget: the gag rule for everyone who participated in Big Brother 12 Media Day lifts on June 30th. That means we definitely get to see the new house decs by that day.

June 30th is a Wednesday. Last year, Monday, June 29th was the BIG house reveal day, so the only question that remains for me is will the ubers scoop the media day fake hg journalists and post house pics and the Julie/Allison Grodner Big Brother 12 House Tour on Monday the 28th? We shall see! Ya know I'll be keeping a close eye on it!

Rumor or Truth - You Decide: Major Big Brother 12 House Details

We just had another visit from our Anonymous commenter, and this time the house dec description is so detailed, even I'm inclined to believe it! Might someone be having a bit of fun with me? Sure! Why not? Might this incredibly detailed description be legit? It's equally possible!

We're all so excited for BB12 to start & to find out any details right now, ASAP, yesterday... So I've decided to bring this up to the front page and make it as accessible as possible. Without further ado, here's "Anonymous"!



Media day was yesterday. Here's what I can share.

* As expected, the BB12 house is decorated with mostly a beach/summer camp theme. One of the walls has been taken down and there are now only two bedrooms (not counting HOH).

* The small bedroom looks like a beach with various size sandcastles (fake) and beach balls. There's a really pretty ocean mural painted on the wall with reeds running along it which makes it look very realistic. Two of the beds are beach lounge chairs and two of the beds are simply beach towels. In this room, there are no mattresses.

* The big bedroom looks like a summer camp cabin. There are bunk beds along the wall and a big sleeping bag on the floor which fits more than one person. A giant (fake) moose head hangs from the wall. The dressers are adorned with lanterns and other cabin-esque accents.

* In the living room, there's a big screen behind the couches and nomination chairs that plays a continuous loop of crashing waves. Fake palm trees stand on each side of it. The carpet is shag and sandy colored. The wall opposite the nomination chairs is decorated with an ocean sunset mural which is gorgeous. The whole room looks like a tropical paradise.

* There's a large fish tank between the living room and the kitchen with really exotic looking fish inside. It's the first thing you see when you walk into the house.

* The kitchen looks like a cabin. There's a big round picnic table in the corner. Glossy wood paneling covers the walls which lends to the summer camp cabin theme. The floors are hardwood. The memory wall is made of glossy wood paneling as well and it's designed to look like big (plastic) ladybugs are crawling all over it. Really cute.

* The bathroom is really pretty. The walls are shiny and metallic and decorated with different shades of blue and the floor looks like sand (fake though). The seashell sinks are designed to look like they're floating in mid air. Big blue lava lamps hang on the wall on each side of the mirror. The bathroom gives off an "under the sea" vibe.

* The diary room looks the same as last year except the background is lit red instead of blue.

* The hallway to the HOH room is also beach themed, but instead of the usual couch/chess set on the upstairs landing, there's now a mini gazebo.

* The HOH room is bizarre. It's sort of a creepy carnival theme which doesn't fit with the rest of the house at all. In one corner, there's a fortune telling arcade machine. In another corner, there's a tank with a giant (and I mean GIANT) tarantula inside. Along the walls are funhouse mirrors which make you look taller/shorter/fatter/skinnier as you walk past them.

* The backyard has a volleyball net but there are no volleyballs. Just beach balls. The pool table is gone and a foosball table has taken is place.

* The "green" room (formerly the spa/workout room) is perhaps the most bizarre room we've ever seen in all twelve seasons of Big Brother. It's decorated to look like a funeral parlor. In the middle of the room is a big white casket with an open lid. Behind the casket is a large frame that says "rest in peace" with a space for someone's picture in the middle. The casket is surrounded by funeral bouquets. With the exception of a small table in the corner and a candy dish, there is nothing else in this room. The walls are plain white with minimal decor.

Happy Tuesday, BB Lovers! If you're with us on facebook or twitter, you know I've been waiting on the go ahead to reveal BIG Big Brother 12 news. The wait is over! Here it is:

1st up, the Big Brother Live Feeds Early Bird Special is back! It goes live this Friday, June 18th and it runs through til July 7th, the day before Big Brother 12 begins. It's a fantastic deal at 29.99 for 3 months! I'll have the links available for you here the moment they go live on Friday!

That'll be followed by our first look at the real BB12 HGs, their bios & interviews - once they're sequestered, which happens about 5-7 days before the show begins.

Psyched?? Ready?? I sure am! And I'm getting even moreso, just typing about it!

Last but not least, BBDish is in the process of upgrading too! We'll be debuting our new look during the 1st week of the season. Think clean lines, easier to use, and easier to share! :)

Big Brother Executive Producer Allison Grodner Dishes About BB 12

Al Mellis from TVGrapevine.com scored quite the coup with a Big Brother 12 related Allison Grodner interview today. He was also kind enough to make it accessible.

What we learn, in a nutshell: The house redesign will have a beachy feel, to go along with that return to summer camp feeling. The HG count will remain in the 12-14 range, and we can expect more divergent careers... She also talks a bit about the internet fans & sites. :)))

30 Days til Big Brother 12!!!

Happy Tuesday, BB Lovers!! We're almost there! Just 30 more days now til Big Brother 12! Can you stand it? We'll be having a Big Brother 12 Premiere Viewing Party here on BBDish! Please RSVP on Facebook and let us know if you can make it! Also, please feel free to invite your BB loving friends!

Here's what we know so far:

1. Big Brother 12 Premieres Thursday, July 8th at 8pm, and The Big Brother 12 Live Feeds will spark up on RealSuperpass shortly thereafter!
2. Big Brother 12 will air Thursdays, Sundays and Wednesdays this year.
   
3. Big Brother 12 will return to Showtime for another season of BBAD.

We will not be introduced to the BB12 HGs until they are actually sequestered. That usually happens about 5-7 days before the show starts. We will, however, get a nice preview of the new house decs before that! As always, we'll blast all Big Brother 12 related news here & let you know there's a new post via our accounts on facebook & twitter!

Big Brother 12 to Air Wednesday, Thursday & Sunday

Happy Memorial Day Weekend, BB Lovers! We have a change in plans for this summer's Big Brother 12 tv viewing. CBS has nixed Tuesday nights and replaced them with Wednesdays... What do you think about that?

The summer reality hit BIG BROTHER premieres Thursday, July 8 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The new cast will be announced at a later date.

BIG BROTHER will be broadcast three nights per week: Wednesdays, (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 14); the LIVE eviction show hosted by Julie Chen on Thursdays (8:00-9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT, beginning July 15) and Sundays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT, beginning July 11).

Last summer's edition saw BIG BROTHER grow its audience both on-air and online...

Hmmm.. for me, it doesn't matter so much. All it really means is that the tv only audience will be yet further behind the rest of us. No biggie, right? ;p
