Big Brother 16: Caleb Plants a Save Zach Seed and it grows and Grows and GROWS!
The live feeds were down for a couple hours in the early evening as the HGs celebrated their Half Way party. Ordinarily, that's a pretty big deal. Tonight, not so much.. Not so much at all.
At 9:02pm, Caleb planted a Save Zach seed, and over the next couple hours it grew to immense proportions, a la Jack and the beanstalk. And it's a beautiful, beautiful beanstalk!☺ Caleb, I promise to not make fun of you for at least.. 12 hours. Maybe even 24. Caleb: What if we go Zach, Christine flips, they have more numbers than we have, and then we could be in trouble.
Frankie: I said I don't think that's a concern, but he's worried she wouldn't vote Nicole out.
Caleb: I think she has Nicole's back over any of us. I feel it.
Derrick: Lemme shave and think about it. So you're sayin' Keep Zach..
Caleb: I'm not sayin.. I'm sayin' what if... Remember, we supposedly have his number.
Derrick: Right.
Caleb: But.. none of us really have Jocasta's number.
Derrick: Right.. and if he goes home, is she gonna vote with Donny, if Donny's workin..
Caleb: Exactly. So the thing is, it'd be Christine, Donny, Jocasta, Victoria.. I think Victoria would vote with you, but..
Derrick: Yeah, she would..
Caleb: But.. What if Christine says, Hey, I'ma tell you guys everything..
Derrick: That would only work if one of us didn't win HoH. But I get what you're saying. But if we vote out Jocasta, they're gonna know.. They're gonna know that something's together.. And if they win, they're gonna put 2 of us up together, and one of us take ourselves off, they'll put another one of us up.
Caleb: Even if we vote to keep Jocasta, Jocasta's not a number for us.
Derrick: I agree.
Caleb: Either way. She's gonna put you up.
Derrick: Cuz I put her up.
Caleb: Exactly. And then more 'n likely, Nicole's gonna say, Hey, I already know about their little scheme, I know about it all. Put Derrick up, or Frankie, Caleb..
Derrick: It's possible. It's possible. We're not the only ones who are working as a group. There's another group workin'. That's Big Brother.
Caleb: I guess the biggest question is, do you think.. if we voted Zach to go home, Christine would play on that side of the fence to help their numbers?
Derrick: I don't think so.. but anything's possible.. I could flip.. anybody could flip.. People are gonna do what's good for their game.
Derrick goes to shave. Frankie's tells Caleb he's not worried and Zach it too erratic and he's talking about all of them and even trying to form a group to get Caleb out.. Caleb hears all this and still comes back with..
Caleb: At the end of the day, Jocasta's not with any of us.
Frankie: Yeah, but she also doesn't do anything
Caleb: That's true too, BUT she's a number against us.. no matter what.

Cody: I was gonna say, do you think that Frankie's actually telling Zach?

Derrick: Lemme ask you a question. I've thought about this all day today. Me n you have 2 options in this game.. There are 3 twosomes in this game right now - Me n you, Nicole and Hayden, and Christine and Frankie. OK?
Derrick: If we get Zach out, and then we vote Christine out, do the math, we're f*cked... if we don't win HoH, because Nicole and Hayden will have Donny and Jocasta. Christine and Frankie don't have anybody, even though they think they have Nicole and Hayden. We know they don't. So if we went against them, they don't have anybody.. So votin' out Christine is not a good move, because she doesn't have enough numbers to vote us out, if she puts us up, even though she thinks she does.
Cody: She does though.
Derrick: She doesn't.

Derrick: So lemme ask you this then.. We have 2 options: we go with the flow, we vote Zach out, and then we vote out.. cuz he wants me to put up Frank and Christine, if I win HoH.. That's what Hayden wants me to put up. And he told me today.. I didn't ask him about it, but he told me today that Donny said I was good and I'm not even on his radar.
Cody: He told me that yesterday. His targets are Caleb 1, Frankie 2, Christine 3..

Derrick: He didn't even say me 4.

Cody: You know what I just said to Christine? I said, "You really don't see that the numbers are goin'? 3 out of the 4 weeks, someone from the original 8."
Derrick: I know..
Cody: "If we get rid of Jocasta.."
Derrick: They're down.
Cody: I literally just said to Christine, 3 out of the last 4 weeks, one of the original 8 are going home every week. She was like, Oh my God.. I didn't realize that. I was like, Don't act like you haven't realized that, Christine. She was like, I really haven't.
Derrick: He told me, he wants me to put up Frankie and Christine next. We're gonna have nobody left. We're gonna go up next to each other. Donny and Jocasta are gonna vote us out, and we're gonna go home. We're gonna be finishing 5th or 4th place.

Christine: Frankie, we are getting played so hard by them right now. They said that you and I wanted..
Cody: Ok.. it wasn't just Zach that said it.
Cody: I guessss... I was targeting you, because Nicole kept saying all week that I'm your number one target and you're going after me in the double evict.

Cody: yeah. And she told us that you went up there to them, not with an alliance, but with a "working together" unnamed group of you, her, Donny and Hayden.. and they said all week, you guys have been trying to get us put up as Renoms..

Derrick: I think that's bad. I still think I should say "they're gonna put you and Jocasta up if they win double evict. I don't want you up there. We need to keep Zach here, because if you're up next to Jocasta, you could go home."
Frankie: Or you can say, Zach's targets are Nicole and Hayden..

WHAT AN INSANE HOUSE. As I said in the previous post about Zach staying... All the ProZach fans have Caleb's ass to kiss. I know that may bother many. I like that they are finally playing and God Father Derrick rallies the troops.
I personally love when they strategize in the HOUSE, because all the soap opera stuff and who is kissing whom bores me to death. Some fans want to make up relationships where there are none…
I feel really bad for Nicole and Hayden being blind sided… because looking from the outside they were true to the Rationale, but all the ‘voices’ and paranoia made Cody and Derrick doubt them. It’s funny reading tweets… people hate production being involved with leading questions… unless it saves their favorite.
Derrick: "America you're about to get what you've been asking for." It sounds like production has something to do with this.
I am a fan of Zach's mom much more than Zach himself. Victoria could win the first HoH and Zach's ass would be back on the block for being so rude and mean to her. She would put up Zach and Christine I believe... for how they have treated her and lied about her. But other than that Donny or Hayden better win or they are toast with one of them going in the second eviction, because they will be nominated with Nicole as replacement. And we will be back to how the House has been all season long. Fans will not be happy about that either. I can see Derrick, Frankie or Christine leave if Donny or Hayden wins. Personally I hope it’s not Derrick. I’d be happy with Frankie leaving… sick of his sausage obsession but if either of Team America leaves… is the whole thing done? Christine leaving may be best for her marriage knowing how hurt her hubby is by her actions in the house according to his Twitter and insane fans.
Tonight will be a crazy show for sure. Now I am going to bed. Zzzzzzz.
It's not that I don't like Zach, because I do, but this is infuriating what has happened. I think it's directly related to DR intervention, and basically puts the game right back where we were before. No power shift, same people in trouble, same people running the house. Again!! Somebody finally makes a move, and this is what happens?!! It'd be different if the stuff Hayden and Nicole told Derrick and Cody wasn't true- but ALL of it was!! The 3 underdogs are now doomed and barring a miracle, the end is near for Hayden, Nicole and Donny. The only 3, who by almost all accounts, have been playing as solid and honest a game as possible. I want Cody and Derrick out next. They were sitting in the prettiest position ever until this, and they deserve to go home before even Christine. I'm so nauseated by the outside influences that have affected the game in the last 24 hours, I can't stand it. I wish a Diamond POV would appear in Nicole's bathroom in the morning, just to even out the unfairness. So frustrated right now...

So, Christine and Caleb are now the believable gurus of BB? Taking out an illusory “number” is better than removing a significant player from the game?
A flip flop, at this point, helps Zankie, Christine and Caleb. Hurts Donny, Nicole and Hayden. Leaves Derrick and Cody short votes when Zankie comes after them, probably next week.
The double eviction tonight will decide a lot.
Paranoia, in the BB house, makes for fun viewing.
I was thinking about the "numbers" for tonight's vote.
Caleb, Cody, Derrick and Frankie, as it stands now, would absolutely vote to keep Zach.
Donny and Hayden would vote to keep Jocasta, I'm assuming they keep the flip secret. Where does Victoria stand, she really doesn't like Zach, will Derrick bother to try to mist her since he believes they have the five votes.
The final vote, where does Christine really stand? She has always stood with the majority. But she, also, can count and she does not like Zach.
This could really get interesting.

I can't believe that this is happening!!! it is so evident that production made this happen because of all Zach's fan and Frankie crying in the DR and the letter from Zach's mom!!! sure it stirs the pot but it is so unfair!!!! they're doing this to save Zach and didn't do a d*mn thing to save Amber because of Caleb!!!! it is also very unfair to the other house guests who think they may have a fighting change at winning half a million dollars!!!! maybe all the rumors from last year are true and that BB has already picked the winner before the season even starts!!!
BB used to be a great "reality" show but it is plain to see that it has become a "scripted rip-off"!!!!
Yes Julie, this IS the most twisted season of BB!!!! it's so twisted that it's really not worth watching because as soon as the house guests get into the BB house it is evident who production has chosen to win!!! last year Amanda was supposed to win but production must have had to change it up because all of the backlash coming at them!!! this year it is extremely evident that the winners are going to be Zach and Frankie and that is so wrong on so many levels!!!

I've watched every season except season one and that was because I was in and out of the hospital all summer and I didn't know it was on. it's a shame that BB16 will be the end for me!!! I just can't justify watching a "reality" show that clearly isn't!!!

Ya gotta love BB! Crazy crazy house. It should be called this BB-Production! I have to agree with all of u. I don't like how they get involved. They go with the flow of the fans, why do you think they have trackers, polls, blogs, ect. They want to know who the public likes and wants to win so they can ask leading questions. I'd like to meet the master mind of who comes up with the solutions the HGs can not figure out. Derrick and Cody should have known the numbers would go down when they wanted to send zach home! The thing is, whether you wanted Zack to stay or go, the true backdoors, blindsides, and last minute flips make for a great season.
After last year I will never again take for granted a great cast, no matter how boring. And this cast has not been boring! FOR THE MOST PART they have been kind, and genuine, and sensitive to each other. At this point, I think I'd be happy with whoever won! They've all done something to deserve it.
I guess I have a simpler, more Caleb-type brain. Don't think to question loyalty...just add the numbers. Don't vote out an iffy ally if you can get a definite enemy! If Zach leaves, they are down another number. And whether Christine or someone else turns on them--or what about BOTH Frankie AND Christine, or Derrick AND Cody?--they are totally screwed in a DE tomorrow night. It's simple. Play it safe!
So they finally quit twisting their brains inside out and just added up the numbers. Thought about past years. And past weeks--which did make me think that Donny and Hayden may be playing a much better game than they have been credited with. Outlasting a huge numerical disadvantage. Are they behind the Evict Devin and Evict Amber (even Evict Brittany?) movements? Cody blames Zach. Was he that savvy or dumb to wipe-out his alliance that way?
Then they shared stories of the past week's activities, talks, back-stabbing denials... It was great watching Christine squirm!!! All night long she lied her butt off--she may be lucky her nose is too big to grow any more ;) Pretending she's enjoying the "lies" Nicole and Hayden are supposedly spreading about what she's been saying all week. As it is, Cody HAS to be questioning her. Her acting was AWFUL. Terrible. That laugh was inappropriate and she never once got angry...never even suggested she had an urge to confront the liars? Never ask WHO said WHAT?? Which any and all of us would have done now and again through the evening.
Everyone must know the rest of the alliance was throwing each of them under the bus. Cody said as much and just wanted it admitted and put away for now. "90% of the house are playing each other." Christine has made herself a huge risk with her behavior/reaction. She wants to warn Nicole of an impending blindside? After all the lies? She's not mad? Wow! Forgiving. And even when she learned Nic was planning to BD her best buddy Frankie if she used the POV she won? No anger? No wonder Cody mentioned it to the guys later.... Glad to see them see through her game even a little...please Cody, put her on BLAST? Don't fall for all the "I love you, Cody"s--you aren't THAT cute.
Tomorrow should be so much fun! I want to sleep and stay busy rather than nervously watch the machinations all day. Read the blog here to know where they are at showtime. :)
I like Zach and his antics do keep the feeds a bit more entertaining BUT I'm not about to lose my mind if he stays or leaves. It seems that so many are caught up in their favorites to the point of threatening to quit. Sorry if that made no sense....I was up late watching the "magic" happen on the feeds. We've all seen production pull strings and not so subtly over the last 4 years. I personally accept that and try to enjoy the show for what it is, an entertainment show. Everyone keeps talking about how boring the feeds and show will be without Zach but I find it a bit boring that the same group has run the house since Day 1. I still like everyone even though I feel Caleb may need some kind of professional help.
I hope everyone continues to enjoy the show and feeds and as always on this Thankful Thursday I am happy that Caro and Lessa have given so tirelessly of themselves. Much love to all dishers no matter what side of the house you prefer.

I have never thought Derrick was Dan. I've given him credit for a good game but not a 'legendary' game. And I have never thought he had 'mist'. His strategy and targets change so often it's more like he is spreading a big cloud of fog and hoping that people will wander around lost until he decides which path they should take.

I knew when Zach was in the HOH w/Nicole telling her that if Jacosta went home her reign would've be a fail, that production had let him know he was going home but they were fixing that!!! BOOOO BOOOO BOOOOO!!! Just hate that now it's all predictable & these guys are running the house.

I'm not sure if I'm in the minority here or not but I'm disappointed in this flip. It's not because I hate Zach or like Jocasta. I'm actually not really invested in either one of them. It's more because I'm tired of seeing one group of people steamroll the house.
The Detonators controlling the game is boring. If Zach goes then there's the chance he blows things up and the rift between Derrick/Cody and Frankie/Christine becomes a huge gap. It makes people scramble. It forces new alliances to be solidified. Sure, Zach is entertaining but the potential entertainment from him leaving is far greater.
Not to mention that this puts Donny, Hayden, and Nicole (my three favorites along with Cody) in danger. All I can do now is hope that Hayden has Victoria's ear more so than Derrick and Christine's DR sessions are legit so she plans to vote Zach out no matter what. That would make the vote 4-4 and Nicole could truly shake things up.
I'm one of the few fans of The Detonators and not at all swayed by the Southern Sweetness of Donny. While I think he is a kind, humble man, I do not think he is the mastermind his fans are making him out to be. That would be CBS editing.
I do understand that people are upset about DR questions and instigation, but if you have ever listened to any former house guest, that has happened in EVERY season of BB, and they are not TOLD to do something, they are asked questions that make them think. And I don't think that makes this season unfair, as it has always been that way. It is a TV Show after all. I am also not too upset about the lack of power shifts, because ultimately, it will get very interesting once the weeds are pulled (Jocasta, Victoria, and in my opinion Donny).
I know I don't hold the same opinion as many on the Dish, but I am a superfan and have watched every season more than once, so I am not missed by CBS's edits, or the nice guy...just a fan of great play. And this season, that is Derrick. I'm not comparing him to Will or Dan or anyone else, just saying that THIS season, he is playing the game better than anyone else...and he is part of the Detonators, so I am all for them sticking together and going for each others throats once the weeds are pulled.
So difference of opinion from the majority, but I am fond of and respect each and every one of you and your opinions!!!! :)

I'm wondering why no one has asked why it is so important for Derrick to keep Victoria. She is not part of the group. They have enough votes for Zack without her. Don't they see that Derrick is keeping himself insulated on all sides. I have rooted for Zankie, not necessarily to win but just because I enjoy them. I have rooted for Haycole and Donny as underdogs and because Hayden was my favorite since week one. I have come to the point where I am fine with Jocata and Victoria leaving because they don't add much to the game.
The problem is, none of my people have ever been in control. With the BS or Detonators, Zankie sticks around for a while but they don't win. With The Rationale, Haycole makes it further in the game but not to the end. Either way, Derrick and Cody are in control. The only way to really shake up the house and make individuals start rethinking their games is to have a ticked off Hayden or Donny (who had always known who the ringleader is) win HOH and take out Derrick. I'm just not sure if their is anyone he would go home over at this point.

My take on this... DR probably got in Beastmodes ear. So? Thats their job. Its the HG's job to get done what they want to get done regardless of any obstacles Big Brother puts in front of them. Dont be Eric from bb8. Vote out evel Dick! Also, I dont really have a dog in this fight. I dont like HayCole, but I dont have a favorite either. What I do know (for a fact) is Zach is 1000x better for the show than Jocosta. Nicole didnt make a big move this week (especially if she sends Jocosta home) and even though it looks like "the same people are running the show BORING!" Its not because it is consolidating the people that are actually playing the game. The lines are being drawn, but there is still plenty of wiggle room. They already have Victoria, there is no reason to have 2.
This plan wouldnt bother me if christine wasnt involved. She rubs me the wrong way. I love haycole and it seems like they are doomed now.

There is no evidence that this is production interference---it's not like those ploys where they grant special powers like Diamond POVs, Coup D'Etats or Pandora's Boxes--this is the very game of BB....
There are so many days without anything for HGs to do but think about the vote, add the numbers...they flip and they flop, and you cannot always expect them to agree with you. This time they decided to stick with their original alliance and planned vote with 3 long-time fellow alliance members, not vote out one of their own, but rather someone from the other side of the house, who cannot win a comp, has no strategy, and has been nominated too many times to count---why is it suspicious when they don't jump ship to go with 2 people with sketchy records of winning, who have a 3d they won't let go of yet they insist D and C agree to vote out their 4 allies first? That got to them. Keep Donny but vote out every Detonator? Hmmmmm. Sounds like they'd be next to go after Frankie and Christine, tho Christine would likely defect before it came to that..... The numbers just don't support defection. Production did not do that.
Caleb was not told of the planned vote until yesterday. And that was the 1st time his simple logic was added to the mix. Derrick and Cody were so angry over the idea that Christine and Frankie would tell Nicole to put them up (and vice versa) they were blinded to the fact that their majority would be threatened. Derrick simply figured that a plus one vote would be adequate...Caleb suggested Christine might he aligned with Nicole and that would tilt results.... After some time had passed and cooler heads ruled, they realized the idea of revenge might bite them back...
This is how votes go every season. They soon will swing the other way. In fact, the majority invariably loses someone in the DE that's happening tomorrow! Whether it's the chutzpah of the majority or the emotions of those who lose someone they care about, the other side usually gets an HOH and/or a POV win and the majority loses someone considered indispensable like Jeff or Brendon. It's been happening for years. The downs of BB are terrible, but the highs soar. Be patient.
Accusing production without evidence only dilutes accusations made when they do meddle!

Good morning! Well, I was hoping last night that someone in that house would come to their senses and realize they need to keep Zach in the house. I never dreamed that all this would go down like that. In my perfect world in the BB house, I would have hoped one of them would turn it all on Christine with all her lies and keep Zach and tell him it was her idea to get him out and tell him of all things she had said so that he would be the one to go after her and get her out if he won HOH. Now it all is a mess. I think it is funny for her cause she wants him out so bad and she will have to vote and keep him so save face with her alliance. I love this game!

Two things that are bothering me-Frankie told Zack that without Derrick and Cody things could have gone horribly wrong for Zack. It was BECAUSE of Derrick and Cody that things almost went wrong. That's the thing that bothers me the most about Frankie. He puts far too much faith in people. He really trusts Derrick and Cody, Christine and, until recently, Haycole. From out here in feedster land it seems like, with all his insight, it should be obvious that there are people who would want him out.
Second thing, Zack commented about the other side of the house being smart. He was corrected a couple times and told that Donny and Nicole are smart as if Hayden is a big dum puppy on a leash. Hayden is very smart. All 3 of them are. Realistically they haven't had a chance. Hayden never believed he was part of the guys alliance but was smart enough not to rock the boat because he hs d no power. It does seem like Donny id afraid to make a move but I think part of that is because he doesn't want to be the first to turn traitor on TA. And the dual HOH, BoB screwed Nicole. She wasn't afraid to go after big targets but if she had put 2 strong players up they would have probably won BoB. If it had been a single HOH I have no doubt that Frankie and Zack would have been OTB with Caleb as a possible third choice.
Cabel needs only himself for his life parner. Noone else can withstand his high and mighty attitude of himself. He needs to go now.
There was a third thing that bothered me that I forget to mention. I know I am complaining a lot today but that's just me.
Everyone was giving Derrick a big pat on the back for defending Victoria to Zack. Derrick, as a father, would never put up with someone treating his daughter that way. So where were his fatherly instincts when he was pimping out Cody to keep Brittany in check. And where were his fatherly instincts when Amber was being stalked, harrassed and threatened and her reputation was being trashed?
Just saying, let's be honest. Derrick wants Victoria in his pocket as a final 2 option and a vote for him from the jury house. It's not the father in him, it's the BB player.
I do not like this one bit. Not that I care that Zach is staying, I could care less. I don't really care for him but whatever. The fact I don't like is.....I love Nicole. I hate the fact that this will be for sure the end of her. What also irritates me is, Derrick thinks Frankie and Christine are paranoid when, in fact, he is the paranoid one. He thinks everyone is playing him. When it's actually Frankie and Christine. Both have mentioned his name to get rid of. I loved the alliance of Derrick, Cody, Nicole & Hayden. Wow!! I have to admit Im dissappointed in the shift to keep Zach. I really wanted to see the Rationale and Donny make it to final 5. Tired of the Detonators being in power. Still think Derrick is playing the best game but I wohld rather see him play with Rationale than Detonators. Still holding out hope that the vote will go 4-4 with Christine and Vic voting out Zach. If not my next wish would be for Hayden or Donny to win the first hoh of the de and get out Zach or Frankie...then of course Im desperately hoping for an endurance hoh on the feeds. Thank you. I was going to say something but didn't want to seem confrontational. I do believe, especially after last year, that this show is not rated for kids. The edited version is no worse with lying and scheming than Survivor or any other reality show. Dance Moms is geared toward a young audience and the adults are terrible role models. I watch a lot of 'mature' programs with my kids and use it as a basis to start conversations about why certain things are wrong and why certain things are not always what they seem.

I really don't think getting rid of the floaters, power players fight it out at the end, works. I'm also not sure I like the term "floaters", it seems to have a very flexible meaning. Someone asked why Derrick wants to keep Victoria. Simple, he can control her vote, and he would win over her in the finals. If I was Derrick I'd want to keep Victoria and Zocasta to the end. My strategy each week would be, who can help me to that goal, who can stop me from reaching that goal? Until a few hours ago he was on that path.
It appears he wants to keep Victoria til the end, I'm not sure who the other person is that he is thinking about.
I would really like to see a tie vote tonight. I think that would make the most drama.

If production made this happen I dont belive it would have been Caleb that brought it to light. I truly belive Caleb has quietly been thinking this through. People have been saying this season has been boring. I can't really agree. While the domination of the guys alliance (because let's admit that they have no real loyalty to Chirstine) has been complete, and I hate any reality show where one side makes it to the end easily, they have created enough drama within their group all by themselves. First, there was the Devin craziness -- entirely self inflicted. Then there was the Caleb/Amber drama (in which I was totally on Amber's side and as appauled as anyone). And now this week, the drama has all been created because the Detonators were tempted to flip on each other, but it looks like they are not ready to pull the trigger. I guess when there is no real threat from the outside, then the drama will naturally come from within. No doubt some of the Detonators will regret the decision to keep Zach, if they do.(My guess is that Derrick and Christine will be damaged the most.) It's funny that they said Donny is a mastermind when he had little to do with it really. Also, they've all decided to pretend (or have developed a group delusion) that Hayden and Nicole were lying - yet they each know that at least as it relates to them, Hayde and Nicole were telling the straight up truth. This is all to cover that they themselves are the reason for all the back and forth. As for DR intervention, if that is what is saving Zach and I think that's terrible, but not unprecedented. What can you do? Nonetheless, I can't wait to see what happens tonight! I certainly know what I want to have happen! I want to see the Detonators detonate!
I love that the tides have changed; it really adds depth to the game. And I LOVE that zack will likely stay now. :)
But Frankie's (and Christine's) best move for himself (herself) would now be to still vote against zack forcing Nicole to do a tiebreaker. Most likely, No one would believe Frankie being the odd vote in their group and lots of drama would ensue during and for the double evict. He might fly under the radar. Christine would likely be blamed and she could always run to the other side if she "is smart and thinking".
Of course who knows what Christine will actually do until it's done.
The most interesting thing will be to see whether Derrick or Hayden (and Nicole) win over Victoria. If she's observed and absorbed HALF of the talk and actions going on around her, she will realize its time for her to pick a side (aka a "brother"). Her chances of going farther would be to side with the outcasts and Hayden. IMO
Whatever happens, I'm at least glad the bri-skaters realized the potential numbers situation and considered keeping zach.
I'm secretly hoping zack stays and is taking it all in and reading between the lines. I hope he realizes how close to being blindsided he was. I hope HE flips on the guys and finally plays hard to WIN not come in second.

Even in the beginning of this save Zach plan he tried to say he couldn't trust him anymore, he had a final 2 with everyone.. DUH - so does everyone else - including you. I hope Zach sees this for what it really was - a save their ass with you as a pawn again scheme and does some major shifting of power.

Was kinda half listening/watching BBAD in bed last night UNTIL I started hearing the convo with Cody, Christine, Frankie & Derrick! YES!! This kind of stuff is what makes the show for me! The unpredictable game play and flipping!
I started about a week ago really having fun listening/watching Zach's antics and really liking him...but either way, stay or leave, doesn't matter to me really. But, now all the aspects related to the flip and Zach staying has me excited! Although, I do feel kinda bad for Nicole & Hayden...I like them!
I also see a lot of people making comments/tweets about DR interference, leading questions & suggestions to the houseguests that leads to changing the game. I say, I expect the DR to do this...I have watched every season since season 1, and see the DR literally as "Big Brother". They have there finger on the pulse of the house like no one else does...they have access to information we don't see, confessionals, in house convo's etc...I trust them to shake things up, keep the houseguests on their toes, never feeling "safe" for too long...and continue to have a hand in outcomes & flips just like we had last night! I think it would be SO boring without DR/Big Brother's subtle manipulation and mind messing in the DR of our beloved houseguests! Keep up the good work DR/Big Brother! I'm enjoying it ALL! :o)
Hello Caro! Thank you for all your hard work. While I am glad it appears Zach will be staying, I don't like the fact that Nicole & Hayden are being blindsided. Really hoping for a Donny or Hayden HoH win tonight!

Just betwee us girls, I love you, I love this blog and I'm so glad you run it the way you want to. I've been reading for years (this is my first year really commenting) but I've seen the way you handle yourself - always like a lady. You are accepting of people (faults included) and you go above and beyond to be respectful - up to and including censoring yourself and applogizing when you've unknowingly done wrong. Every year it seems like some Dingus is trying to tell you how to run your blog. You do you Girl. Those who "know" you will keep coming back.
And I'm glad you opened up the conversation for Mr. Smith to explain to his daughter what fisting is. Better to hear it from him than from her friends, because sooner or later, she's going to hear about it.

I am neither a Zach fan or hater ... find him entertaininng. The ONLY reason I'm not happy about him staying is it once again will be a house ruled by one group.
BTW - I LOVE your comments ... and thank you for doing all that research on the Rosh Hashonah finale night. I wouldn't have minded if that date was the original finale but they JUST changed it so that's what bothered me.
I am still Team Derrick ... but wishes he had stuck with Hayden, Nicole and Donny. Who knows - it may happen.

I think that the audience is split. It's Zack fans on one side and people who think that keeping Zack makes the show boring and predictable.
I am a Zack / Zankie fan- not necessarily to win, just to watch. I also have wanted a shake up and I am in the group that has rooted for Hayden, Nicole and Donny. But I feel that evicting Zack did not really cause a power shift or make the show less boring because the same person was still running the house.
The real problem is that everyone (except Donny) trusts Derrick and, by association, Cody. Maybe this actually will cause a shake up. Derrick still has the old gang snowed but, if by some miracle, Hayden/Nicole/Donny make it through DE they know now that they are on their own. No more floaters, no more pawns, no more personal decisions. They will have to go after the big guns and there is no bigger gun than Derrick.
TELLA.... ok spill. I have no idea what her husband has been saying and it has really been a burning question in my mind after seeing how she acts with Cody ..I keep wondering "what would her husband say?" lol so please enlighten me:D ty!!

I forgot to say Good Morning – the morning was so great in fact that I forgot my dishmanners. Happy double eviction day to everyone – thank you Carolyn, once again. Sadly, I’m sure you’re in for a hell of a long night – whether it’s endurance or not – because people will be scrambling and scheming. Love my BB.
I’m wrong 75% of the time so I can laugh at myself; I’ve been silent here for so many years and now this year, you cannot keep my quiet. But here I go again…
It’s going to get very interesting after this double eviction and the second HoH steps into power. I still see it being an “endurance” not just a physical challenge so I’m predicting Caleb to win (unless he miraculously wins the first HoH comp or is evicted in the second vote). I think Cody or Hayden (barring a slip up like on the balance beam) will win the first HoH if it has any physical aspect since it’ll involve being quick also. If it’s questions, it’ll be very interesting (and I can’t predict) since this group has already proven their memory capability. They will all be going hard core for this competition unless they’re STUPID; noone is safe.
Hopefully this season is just revving up. Pandora’s box is coming – either this week or the following; possible three – which would be a real twist. You’d get one good and one bad – but hmmmm that third one might be…..oh the possibilities. I think cbs realizes that “the most twisted season ever” hasn’t been very twisted at all. Sure we’re only half way but we haven’t seen the ZingBot, a celebrity host, a “movie” or other “luxury” night. There’s been absolutely nothing related to this treehouse/nature theme, nobody is counting anything in the house – those birdhouses, the wood planks, the fire alarms, the “rocks”, etc. – or have I missed them doing it? The silly double HoH and BoB has interfered with just about all the interesting possibilities.
We didn’t get any silly HOUSE comps in goofy costumes because there were NO H/HN/Food comps. I am banking on CBS living up to the hype of the “most twisted” ever because so far that aspect has been a DUD. I like the energy this week has provided to the lead up of the Double Eviction. I am hoping CBS starts the twists coming in a bang bang format. It’ll be perfect timing.
OMG Carolyn – how can you nap on a day like today? LOL – Just Kidding. Nap away because we’re gonna have a rough tide tonight!
So where are the alliances now? How will that change after the double evict? Bruwhahaha…can’t wait to find out. I’ll do some predictions next…
oh. my. goodness. I read this this morning at 6:00 Eastern time and it literally made my day! I am sooooooooo excited! I love love love love this season. I was super bummed to see Zach going out the door, because A: he's funny and brings much needed drama B: I didn't like that they were going to blindside him (although I understood) I thought I might cry seeing him go through that.
I am 100% team Derrick and am 85% for Zankie too :)

Part One:
Derek's number one alliance is still to his family – I believe he will CUT anyone from the game in order to stay. He’s still playing the best game whether I like it or not. @Grendon – you’re right he is a fog machine!!! I do not think he has any true alliance – it’s obvious that he’s groomed Victoria to sit next to him but can she remove herself from the equation and see it – and then could she make a move??
I still think (in his heart) Cody's number one alliance is Zach. He watched his other close allies leave and he’s piecing together the “how and why”. I think you’ll see him and Zach reunite if Zach is saved. It “appears” that Cody is with Derrick via the HitMen, but I think Grendon’s fog is clearing and he’s lining up the facts. He doesn’t fully trust anyone at this point. I cannot remove the image from my mind when that faux-fight happened between Caleb/Zach and Cody ran up the stairs to put BMC down…. I think Cody is Derrick’s blind spot and Cody just might be the one to send Derrick packing. Cody has had good relationships with Hay/Vic/Don….he’s one to watch; he might usurp the win from Derrick.
Nicole’s blind spot is Derrick; hopefully she’ll be clued in to the “fog” before she gets evicted. I hate that her HoH is ending with a floater most likely leaving – but that’s what happens when you fail to put up TWO targets – BoB or not – there were FOUR big male targets to put up and she went with the easier route of using pawns – Donny was on board to put up the THREE who had not been nommed. Like her, but her game is too soft. Glad she see’s through Christine finally.
Donny is on a sinking ship; but is it the titantic? It is unless Zach and/or Zankie attempt to align with him. I still LOVE Donny but he just hasn’t had the right power or cooperation to do what’s necessary to secure himself in the game. If he could somehow pull off the second HoH during the double eviction, Pandora’s Box could possibly give him the necessary power he needs to “reset” his game.
Can Victoria wake up and act on her own? I still see her being in a house with all guys at final five. Hopefully her and Nicole can make a pact and find some muscle to protect them to final four (I’m guessing that would be the unlikely grouping of H/N/V with Caleb or Zach). I’d be entertained to watch that unfold.
Hayden’s downfall will be that he didn’t choose a side sooner. Unless Victoria realizes that he’s more trust worthy than Derrick; Hayden will be everyone’s target soon. Sad, because I love me some Hayden and Haycole. Maybe he’ll win his way to the end! That’s certainly possible.
Part Two:
Christine’s inner tube is springing so many leaks and a deluge of water is heading her way. She better hold her breath because she IS going down. She has NO chance if Zach is saved and will be at the bottom of any “side” she chooses at this point if Zach goes. You reap what you sow. Hated her game and will enjoy watching her demise. *bruwhahaha
Caleb’s mind has cleared (a bit). His loyalty is courageous but it will be his downfall too. Unless he can remember he is in BB and that BB requires a few lies/backstabs/misleads SOMEwhere along the route, he cannot win or get to f2 unless he BeastModes it to the end via PoV’s.
Zack is still my fave and is definitely a wildcard – for how he is playing and for his ability to win. Will he blindly fall into the guy alliance or to Zankie? I hope not. Will he and Cody convene and solidify the best f2 deal possible? I hope so! Will he turn the tables and align with the enemy (like Evel Dick did)? I’d be OK with that! Or will he keep his zac attack course and let himself be manipulated by the masses? NOOOOOOOOO – don’t take this route! I hope he kicks Frankie to the curb. I’m actually hoping he aligns with both Cody and Donny. How smart is he and does he really want to win? That is the real question and if he stays, he will still be the master of his own fate – but in order to win, he has to take control of that fate instead of giving control to others.
I’m SO over Frankie and it’s clear he will go with whoever has the power while maintaining none. He put his eggs in Christine’s basket KNOWING there are holes in everything connected to Christine – she was simply all he had left to gamble on. So now, can he convince Beast Mode that he is the only one who’s believed in him and secure an alliance with him? I think he is toast if he doesn’t. Everyone sees through him at this point except Caleb (or maybe Zac) so nobody will trust him fully again.
I’m just not gonna mention Jacosta. She is the bane of my Zack’s existence.

Derrick spent most off yesterday afternoon laying abed in the Fire room, staring at the ceiling, thinking thru everything. Caleb, CALEB, asked a simple, straight forward question, "why should we keep an enemy and vote off one of our numbers." Inertia overcome!! Derrick told Cody before going into the Dr they needed to regroup.
It's like I said last night in the Viewing post, why is Derrick dropping a 6 person group that he leads for a 5 person group he is at the bottom of ... he is wicked smart and survived undercover by his spidey sense.
Give these players some credit.

carolyn, love what you do, love your passion and LOVE Your comments, even if I don't always agree lol. Don't stop what your doing. IMO NO 14 year old should be reading a blog or watching feeds. be a parent, monitor them and keep it to the 3 shows on TV. There, I said it. I've always felt this way by the way, we've talked numerous times in chat rooms about BB being age appropriate on the live feeds, chats and even twitter. It's not my job to sensor myself because someone can't with their own child. BTW You don't have to publish this, just thought I'd throw in my two cents lol

Too much fog surrounding Derrick. When they question him, it just becomes foggier! I know that's not a word but it fits! ;-) and I totally agree on the issue at hand! I'm hoping Cody finds Caleb's fog goggles.
For everyone in their cups about this most recent shift in the House, think about this. The Donny, HayCole group came w/in one day of succeeding. One day!! So close to a major coup. And there is still a lot that can happen today. Nothing is done until the vote. This is BB!!
I will be very surprised if we see anything on the feeds today. This is Production ... building tension.

I also agree with it being a learning tool for children. But most parents are not watching the same show. When our children were small I watch what they did. Abc; Nbc; and Cbs are local channels that children can pick up on their tvs. Hoping parents start paying attention to whatt they are watching. Thanks for the advice. And I do believe he's presented her as dumb to others and has poked a few jokes her way in weeks past. He only steps up if it's in the interest of his game. The only time I remember him going into any protective or cop mode for real was when Caleb hit Amber with the rock pillow. At first, he clarified it wasn't a literal rock before hehawing. His instinct about Caleb's potential at that point kicked in! He should've known there wasn't a literal rock available to be thrown and that production would've stepped in....but he knew Caleb was walking a tight rope and could snap. I think momentarily he forgot the game but only momentarily.
You are so right I was just listening to some teenagres the other day talking about how they could do a reality show. This one is the one I watch.

I like this decision to save Zach. Jacosta has been given EVERY opportunity to get in this game and she still doesn't do anything! If you are on the block every week, you need to change your game.
I'm more impressed with Derrick's game every day.
I don't know what is going on with Christine's game play. She just seems all over the place and just wants attention.
Nicole is blinded by Hayden. If she is not careful, I think he will play her. Hayden acts like an idiot but I think the HG's are finally catching on to his game.
I just saw that CBS is airing a pre season football game during BB and pushing it back until 2:30 am. Is there anywhere I can go and watch the west coast show? HELP!!!

As far as who goes home during the first elimination, I'm not worried about that one - I'm more excited about seeing what happens after. How crazy is it going to be for all of those like Victoria or Christine, who haven't thought for themselves this whole time, to have to make any kind of decisions! And if Jocasta doesn't get voted out first and has to compete in all of those competitions live, she's going to be speaking in tongues by the end of the hour! She panics so easily. Going to be a fun night for us BB fans (even better for me this year that I have the whole family watching!)
I have to say.... after looking at some older posts and even the images they use in the opening, Derrick has lost a lot of weight while being in the BB house - and I don't think he's been on slop once, right?
this now proves to me that BIG BROTHER is rigged and always has been when the producers get involved to save someone means that the game is rigged and CBS is commiting a fraud on its viewers mark my words either frankie or zack will win because thats the way A Grodner wants it must like every previous year i, done with BIG Brother because of the dishonesty of the producers.

I agree with you 100%! I love this seasons cast and I honestly dont know who I want to win yet. I do, like you, feel once the "weeds" are pulled the game will be very intresting. I also agree with you on Donny. I think hes a very sweet man but as far as playing the game....IMO hes boring. I think once Jocasta, Victoria & Donny are evicted it will be GAME ON!! I agree as well Derrick is not Dan, but he IS playing HIS game and is playing the best game of all these HG's and of course last years. Its been refreshing watching all of them and they have restored my love and addiction of Big Brother! Once the "weeds" are pulled I would like to see Christine & Frankie on the block. I have read this blog since day one, I always get my feeds from you guys and love all that you have done. I have yet to comment on here until now. I have never been a Zach fan, and here is why. When he put up Nicole/Christine during his rein he was as mean as mean could be. All of his "buddies" were ready to put him out until last night. Now here is his comment from just now on the feeds. Zach and Christine in the Storage Room. Zach is telling her how he almost had a heart attack last night when he found out that they might have voted him out. Christine telling him that it was so good that Cody came and talked to her. Zach saying that once the votes are read he is going to be up in Nicole's face telling her "Fu*k you". He is going to start screaming. He will make her cry and he is going to ignore Hayden. Christine is pumping him up and reminds him if this is an DE night he needs to put up Hayden/Donnie and backdoor Nicole and he says yeah and send her right out the door.
He tells Christine that she is a good actor (and he doesn't know the half of it. How she was working earlier in the week to send him home). WHAT A JERK!!!! Watch him end up winning, if that is the case, I want them all to remember this mistake they made.
Zach doesn't deserve to stay. He put up a member of his alliance, he purposely threw one or more crucial comps, and he sleeps so much he is in danger of getting bedsores. I hope he finds out that Derrick & Co are playing him and only kept him because of Caleb's telling them they need the numbers.
Caleb thinks the Bomb Squad is still a thing; the Detonators are using Caleb & using Zach but have a big fat hissy fit if anyone tries to game them (this happens every season).
Back to boring Derrick running everything, and while I am on a rant here, Cody is more of a lunk than a hunk. His only strategy is cuddling. At this point I hope I don't care who wins as long as it isn't Derrick or Cody.
I've been a long-time reader, and have never commented in the past. I have tried several times this year to no avail. I love the blog and would also love to comment once in a while. My chief concern at the moment is that Frankie and Christine both seem oblivious to the fact that Derrick and Cody appeared to be considering flipping--seeing as they kept the plot to back door Frankie from him for such a long time. I'd surely question that kind of behavior I were playing this game!

Around 2ish he was talking about making life hell for Nic/Hay/Don and how he is angry. Well he's making me angry! Poor guy doesn't know when to STFU. Those three could be his future allies and he's not seeing the bigger picture.
I'm still NOT convinced that Christine will keep him. Frankie wasn't awake early enough to get a feel for him either. I'm still nervous about the outcome. Even if he stays, Zack keeps digging his grave deeper and deeper. I hope he climbs out in china soon and makes his way back to Smartsville!
