Curiosity, around 3 I think today, Chima was talking about trying to get Russel to hit her to get him kicked out and then America will love her? Will AG allow it to go that far? I am really not liking this exchange and am hoping Russ can just keep his cool and see it for what it is.
Can't take personal attacks, sorry they really bother me and make me very uncomfortable. This is kind of going beyond game play to me. Just my opinion

But seriously, the differing opinions do give some perspective to the house goings on and whether or not they make me rethink my own position, point is they do make me think ... and that is important.

So glad to hear Jeff said he'd use the power. I'm hoping that doesn't change between now and Thursday because I think that would be detrimental to his game. Plus it'd be interesting to see the higher than alpha personalities of Russell and Chima in the house together for at least one more week, hehe.

I don't know how I missed it, but that was the first I've heard of Chima's story! That was absolutely horrifying and heartbreaking.
That being said, I still don't like Chima in this game, but of course I would feel sorry for anyone that experienced that.
That competition looked pretty stupid to me. As did the movie.
The Jessalie/Lydia love triangle gets on my nerves! Just admit that you want those nasty 18" arms, Natalie. "Oh, no I have a boyfriend." then... "Hey Jesse, lets go lay down."

OMG I totally should not have used the word "hate" in my last post. I know no one on the dish actually hates people, I was just sort of kidding around. One bad thing about blogging, its hard to tell when someone is joking! haha!
I love all of your guys comments and love blogging here... or else I wouldn't come back for more each and everyday! And now that my moot court stuff is done until fall semester begins, you will be seeing a lot more than me!
I will just say one more thing about the Chima thing, and then I am going to drop it. Being a "show only" viewer until this week, I really do like Chima. I think she has a great sense of humor and think she has a good heart. I see a lot of myself in her because I have been known to make comments that come off HORRENDOUS and I don't realize how bad they are until someone else gets hurt. I watched the flashback machine and saw what you guys are talking about, and while I do think some of the things crossed some personal lines, I still do not think she said anything that she wasn't "allowed" to say, and my support for her has not waivered yet.
It also surprises me how many of you guys are such big Jeff supporters after his anti-gay comments at the beginning of the season. There is a lot of truth in what Jane said in earlier posts. Thanks to Jane for having my back. I do approach things in a legal framework... my thought process has changed a lot since law school. Some people may not "like" what Chima said, but she has every right to say what she said. While I think that she does not REALLY think Russell is a terrorist, even if she did she has every right to say what she did (although really holding that opinion would make the comment much more awful than i think it is). Just like I do not judge or dislike Jeff anymore than I did before he made the homophobic comments. Does that mean I would want to be his friend in real life? No, but I still think he is a good person. He cannot help that he was raised (or aquired later in life) a dislike for members of my own community!
Anyways, that is just my 2 cents on that whole situation.

It was funny that they edited out Lydia's HJ, and made it seem like Jessie couldn't find any action downstairs, so returned to Nat.
And, I noticed the Piven's eyes tracking Jordan, but they cut that short too. Even celebs get edited!
That was a very fun show. I have been doing a major evacuation of unwanted large items in my household today, and I live on the forth floor of a walk-up, so it has been quite a chore. I can't wait to read the updates for this afternoon!

CBS definitley doesn't want to bring up terrorist on the TV show, thats for sure. But Chima's strong personality and "i dont care what other people think" stance is exactly why I like her so much!!
nyc gal...you are def entitled to your opinion and i guess so am i. remember they are playing an intense game and jordon is 22. if it's that easy to turn on them, can you not see why they don't open up too much here. that just 'sounds' pretty judgmental to me. it's called taking it easy and relaxing for a few minutes between fighting for your sanity and game.

Thanks Carolyn for posting the link to Chima's story. I missed the first 15 minutes of the live show but have since gone back and watched it via the DVR.
I am curious why BB isn't showing Chima in her best light (i=like what we know to be the truth). If I were a TV only, I would think Russell is the instigator in all of it. Not to say he hasn't played his part but Chima is a bit out of control. I think that BB is showing Natalie to be much worse than Chima is but watching the feeds Chima is the worst and I hope that she gets nailed in the BB world of post show hate. I think I would rather have Jen back in the house, and I so could not stand her.
