Jordan's HoH Reveal

At long last... Jordan was called to the DR just a few minutes ago, and she's already come out with the familiar "Who wants to see my HoH Room?!?!"
Lydia does not attend.
Well, at least we'll be spared the awkward moments of the standard HoH reveal, and Jordan will be surrounded by the people who support her in the house.
Either way, we'll be blogging and capping it for you both here and on BBDish-Caps!
Jordan got a letter from home that brought her to tears. Her family's fortune has improved, which is wonderful, considering they were all living in one room when Jordan left...
They also sent her a blanket from home, and pajamas... and they gently reprimanded her for her language.

BB stocked the fridge with lots of goodies, including some cookie dough, which she held up and said, "I can get fatter," referring to Lydia's earlier slam.
She's offering everyone everything she's got...
Jeff, Michele and Russell offer very sincere congratulations, and being Jordan, she's the one to bring up the awkward moments of HoH silence... Jordan shares some family stories with everyone.
Oddly, BB calls Jeff to the DR during Jordan's HoH reveal... It's a quickie though. BB calls Russell just a couple minutes later, and when he opens the door to go, Jeff's waiting on the HoH landing to scare him to bits!
9:28 PM BBTKevin and Natalie make their exit, so they can go to the Red Room to whisper and go to sleep. Her alliance is there to buoy her and make her smile.

Although this comment doesn't relate to the HOH reveal, I waited to post it because Genie noted a "new post" coming up.
Lydia spitting in the salad: their are health concerns re: being passed through the saliva. However, to me, spitting in food is only slightly less offensive than spitting in someone's face. It just isn't done in a civilized society.
Is that my problem -- even though BB is a game, and rules of etiquette are severely relaxed, I should not expect basic rules of civility to be followed. The quest for the almighty dollar trumps all civility.
I like BB for the ingenuity many of the HGs come up with. I don't like it to see people act like they are basically Neanderthals with no sense of simple respect for your fellow players.

Jordan's Mom sounds like mine. No cursing and I ALWAYS get jammies from my Mom. I will always remember that about my Mom. She even brought me new jammies each time I was in the hospital after I gave birth to my kids.
Hopefully Jordan gives Michele unlimited use of the HoH room since her reign was cut short.

Jordan is such a good-hearted person. She already stated if and when she won HOH, she would have an open-door policy for every HG, no exceptions. And now, she is offering everybody in the room anything they want that is hers.

Girl, I agree with 99.99% of what you say. I can only hope that this time your "fear" regarding Jordan proves baseless. Unfortunately, you almost always end up being right. Please, if there is a "higher power," make Jane's fear wrong this time.
OMGosh I was in a family reunion today with no cell so i couldnt get on from my phone and I just got home imagine my shocked @ the events that occured in the house since last night. I had to work early today so I recorded BBAD from last night so I'll be able to see how it started. So many post to read up on im gonna go try and catch up.
I'm so happy for Jordan and her HOH benefits. It will be nice for the house to settle down a little with Chima gone. As I saw Lydia sitting pondering while all others were in the HOH reveal there was a part of me that felt sadness for her. I can relate a bit with her frame of mind after the comp.
I acknowledge that she has some issues she needs to get some help with, even tho Kevin seems to have given it his best effort. However, thinking as I looked at her that her she is feeling betrayed. And she participates in a comp where one person receives a trip to Hawaii, someone else receives $5,000, someone else gets a call from a loved one. And what do I get??? A freaking Red Unitard that I am required to wear. So I perceive that she really feels the world is totally against her.
Anyway, back to Jeff's attitude and let's have the house be cheerful.

I have not noticed Jordan being stand-offish to Jeff or anything wrong with them.
Fish were up at the beginning of the HOH reveal & then her letter pic came back but no sound till she was almost finished w/ the letter....GRRRRR!

About Jordan and Jeff - I think she is keeping a little distant because she doesn't want to seem like he is the only reason she is still in this game. Plus, she is really concerned that her family will be mad at her. I think Lydia calling her a ho really got to her and does not want to be perceived that way.

Thanks Divr, that was very interesting. Though she too is being selective, there is quite a bit of truth to what she says. It's so interesting that in the time of the internet no one is small and powerless. I assumed she would be steamrolled by CBS, but maybe not. One small woman can have a very big voice in cyberspace.

It saddened me when Natalie (& Kev too but he was not as nasty) tried to say that they can't control Lydia. When team Technobrains tried to reasonably say "at least don't egg it on," Nat just shrugged her shoulders. Give it up! Just read Chima's version of the events. As usual, it is everybody else's fault and Chima is being mistreated and the editing of the show is done to deliberately make her look bad. (Boy, would she be surprised to find out that there is no editing on the feeds and BBAD.)
After reading her email, all I could think of was Chima "Sarah" Simone. As did Sarah Palin, Chima is spinning this to absolve herself of any wrongdoing whatsoever. She has been misrepresented, mistreated, and misquoted.

Jane @ 9:25. If you haven't already, you should scroll down and read the comments. There are very, very, very few people who are falling for her interpretation of her experiences. Most are commenting about how many of her actions were NOT edited, since they were on the live feeds and BBAD. I hope she doesn't bother to go to the site to see how she faired and how much she was believed. It could end up finally sending her over the proverbial "edge."

I think Chima's response is a fair counter to the CBS statement. Yeah, it's only a tiny part of the story, but CBS put out less than any of the story (i.e. lied). I am no fan of Chima's behavior and her attitude toward the game was beyond juvenile. But my heart doesn't bleed for CBS either and it is true that Russell played his part. If CBS had the balloons to admit she quit the game, then all bets would be off. They didn't, so kudos to her for fighting the man (ironic choice of words on my part).
Oh Jordan is just the cutest ever. She made me cry..She is just the sweetest ever. I hope good things come out of this for her and her family. She really deserves it more than any of them. She is the real deal. You gotta love her!!!

hey cindy lou. i would love to see them have fun together, bt i really don't think jeff is looking for a lomg time lve with jordon. i do think he likes her and is enjoying getting to know her, but jeff is in a totally differemt place in his life. he has made many comments about women and relationships, and i think with jordie he's been down that road (the early 20's relationship), i don't see him going back. i also think it is a nice accidental boundary for him there with her feelings abot respecting the wishes of her family. that just puts the beaks on everything which i think he is probably ok with. lets face jeffy does want to be focused on this game
Berdache Bear, I'm not surprised people are hostile to Chima'a letter. I'm a feed addict so I've seen the real deal. I don't support anything she did in the house. I just think that 1.CBS is not the good guy here (there is no good guy), and 2.it's just fascinating that in this time in the world one woman can make a statement against a multi-national corporation and be heard. That has nothing to do with Chima personally, just an interesting reality of our time.
After her letter from home I don't think Jordan really wants the alone w/Jeff thing right now. She's super aware of what is being seen on TV right now. I think maybe tomorrow will be a better time for Jeff/Jordan cuteness.

Lydia spit in the salad they let her get away with that? Are there going to be consequences for any of these people's disgusting behaviour? All over the internet die hard BB fans are saying that these are the most disgusting group they've had in there. That's pretty sad.
I'm feeling kinda happy in the standings in the house right now. As long as either Natalie, Lydia, or Kevin is evicted this week, the statistics have a minimum of 2 of the JJMR in the Final 4. Even then, the chances of those remaining 2 not winning the Final 4 HOH or Veto, and not winning the 2 of 3 Final HOHs is incredibly low with Russell, Jeff, and Michele dominating their own respective areas in comps. If the seventh Jury vote goes to America. No matter what combination of Final 2 there is, as long as Michele, Jordan, Russell, or Jeff is at lease one of the final two, I can't see them losing.

Genie LOL I'm thinking you're not a fan, it's spelled Def Leppard. One of my favorite 80s bands. I saw them three times during there hey day. They got a bit softer after their guitarist died and was replaced by Vivian. Their first couple of albums have some great guitar solos on them.

Natalie brings up her Slop Pass as her big win. She insinuates that all Michele's wins have been by default. She didn't earn them. Boggles the mind.

Carolyn, think you can get Chelsia or some other former Jury Member you know to fill us in. Our BBDish Guest Blogger, Will Wikle would be an excellent choice. He was the first that season to the JH, thanks to the evil Fitness Twins.
That is a valid point tg made. How could they be stopped in the Jury house from talkling game and filling in everyone on more than just what they show us what they bring in on a DVD?

And I agree with every word. Our DishChicks need a day of sanity.
We know they are too dedicated and won't let it happen but we can hope they will do Dish Lite tomorrow and if they must be around just comment with us. You both, Carolyn and Genie, need a fun day.
I know at least Carolyn will get in a good bike ride and brunch with the Chick Mother. That's a little relaxation and well deserved.

Before the last "WBRB" screen, (we have another "WBRB" screen now. The Haves Room Brigade were plotting in the Green room, but all filed out and went to their beds. Didn't look like they were ready to sleep, but with this latest "WBRB" they might being told to do it.
No, back to Haves Room and they are still awake, but Lydia is taking off her unitard so guess it's coming soon. Still there is stealth whispering but I can't hear it so what is the use of watching it. And again we get a "WBRB" screen. Now the lights are out.
A very brief flash of the Have Not's Room but I couldn't see if anyone was in there. the 4 on 1 feeds continue. *YAWN and Aggravation*

Pretty sure it was Nat that came up w/ the genius plan of LML (last minute lie, i think...I don't know. I changed the cam cuz I was bored). I think that there's also "Operation Bosley" (or something like that) which I believe is an effort to piss off Jeff so he snaps.
It is Kevin's responsibility to hide away from the girls all day to pretend like he's irritated w/ them. He's then supposed to let it slip (but make J&J promise not to tell), that Nat & Lydia were eavesdropping on the SS room and heard Michelle & Russ planning on taking J/J out.
This conversation never happened.
They spent a couple hrs working out the details, I think.
Most interesting part of the whole conversation, Nat makes a BIG deal about sticking to the lie no matter what. If you stick to the lie no matter what, you can always be trusted.... lather - rinse - repeat.
Again, watch for yourself. I was only half listening while I watched The Office/BBC. As you can imagine, The Office was more interesting.

I don't have the feeds but I do believe I read a conversation transcribed here on the dish where Michele and Russell made a F2 deal together, meaning they'd have to take J/J out at some point. Russell prob wants Michelle in F2 becasue he's got a better chance to win an endurance comp than she does.
I do think J/J have a chance at a real relationship outside of the house after BB11 is done.
I like the F4 of J/J/M/R, F3 of J/J/M and F2 of Jordan and Michelle.
****BTW**** Does anyone know if BB10 Ollie and April (or for that matter BB9 James and Chelsia) are still a couple or was their thing a true showmance?

Jamison--!. Captain Save-a-ho @3:34 is PLATINUM, and 2. You are absolutely right about Jeff's "look". I've only looked that way at 2 women and I married them both (at different times, of course.) LUV IT!!
Call me crazy, but in my opinion there is absolutely NO WAY Jeff won't take Jordan with him to the final 2 or vice versa, even though they've never verbally made that agreement... they're a "package" after all (love that!!). Also, I noticed last night when Michele threw out the question to Jordan about whether she and Jeff had a final 2 agreement, she told her that they had never actually said that out loud. But I took serious notice to the fact that Jordan completely avoided the actual question Michele was trying to ask, which was obviously about a possible final 2 deal between them. Jordan was well aware of what Michele was getting at and never let it get there. Ironically about the same time, Russell was talking to Jeff in the backyard and almost looked scared to discuss any scenario beyond final 4 that did not also include Jordan. The J's are in this for the long haul together. For the first time in BB history, I really think two people formed a strong bond in this house that they never even put in an "alliance" perspective. I feel like they are unbelievably genuine and would never betray each other in this game. I will be so upset if I'm wrong... but it is a game.
Also, based on the stuff I heard last night our precious, amazing Jeff pretty much gave Jordan the win. And every time she tried to thank him for it he insisted she had earned it. Then he told Russell he would do it over 100 times for her. I don't think I could love anything more than that.
Lastly, call me even crazier, but I honestly believe that if the final 2 comes down to Jeff & Jordan he may advocate for her to win. It is quite clear that her story and her character have had a significant effect on him, and he has said over and over again that she has saved him from himself in the game. It is obvious to anyone with eyes and ears that they are quite fond of each other in a "potential relationship once the camera's are gone" kind of way, but I don't even think that will play into his decision. I actually think he wants her to win the money!!
Hell, I want Jeff to win, but I want Jordan to get the money.

Its a beautiful day here in Idaho. Ive been out putting about out in the yard. Of course it wasnt until I had caught myself up on what happened after the BBAD feeds went off. Im so glad that the house was in a state of calm(well for BB). Im not sure they realize just how much energy it takes to follow them step by step.
Which brings me to my actual point. Words just seem so empty when your heart is so full of appreciation. I have sat here til my back side was numb and my eyes blurred. My gratitude is far deeper than my words here.
Thank Yous' go out to ALL that work so hard to give us addicts our fix for BB action. Not just for the visine break and the fingerprints that have been rubbed off with all the typing, but for all the other aspects of your life you set aside to do what it takes to keep this site updated. For all the hours youve missed spending time with your families, being able to watch your other favorite shows, luncheons with friends, missed opportunities for hugs, reading a book, missing quality time with loved ones, sitting down as the sun comes up, taking a break and realizing the sun has already gone down.
I am truly grateful for your dedication to your followers, many you dont even know.

Afternoon all (I hope this get posted) I'm guilty by association because i voted for Jeff with the CDT but after I think about it was unfair it was the first time BB did that and they threw Jeff a bone so the whites on the show could take over the house..I'm white as well he didn't deserve it americas player yeah this is all jmo but I think ppl should complain abt the cdt because it unfair. I'm not a Chima fan by any means but that was unfair that her hoh wasn't valid. They wanted woman hating Russell in the house imo Keving should win this game if he does @ least him and Jordan final to because she finally won something..

Wow. Brandy, your comment threw me for a minute. I have to say I couldn't disagree with you more. Just my opinion. Mike Boogie won the same power in BB All-Stars but didn't have to use it because his allies won hoh the 1st week, and he won it the 2nd week. This twist had nothing to do with anyone's race or ethnicity, and America had equal opportunity to vote for whoever they wanted. If the other side had won that power they wouldn't have hesitated to use it on Russell's nominations to take Ronnie off the block and put Jeff & Jordan up. Jeff won it fair and square, and used it in the best way he saw fit. He could've overturned anyone who had won hoh's nominations in the 2 weeks he had the power. He made the smartest move ever, and it flipped the power. Suddenly when the other side, who had NEVER been on the bottom, found themselves there they broke down and couldn't handle it. That's the nature of the game and I am still stunned at their bitterness and complete inability to actually play the game and fight for their spot in that house, specifically speaking of Chima and Lydia. It's sad that they couldn't handle the same thing the other side had to deal with the first month. I've never seen a season like this with so many hg's that were completely incapable of handling the power shifts that ALWAYS come in this game. BB says to "expect the unexpected" but power struggles & power shifts in the house are always expected and without them the game would be pointless.
Race has absolutely nothing to do with any of this and it's disappointing that anyone would think otherwise...
