Anyone have any thoughts on when CBS will release a press release on the whole thing?
So Michele doesn't get to enjoy her own room. She doesn't get to play in the new HOH comp. and it's still double eviction week. Should be interesting.
I feel sorry that she doesn't get the room for at least a couple of days. Not going to say it's unfair but she deserves it as much as anyone else. BB is giving in to the complainers still.
i dont understand why they are having another HOH competition... but i think it is unfair that michele cant play again.
Well tickle me pink, I can't believe Chima walked. For once she stopped talking and actually did something. Never have I been so pleased to be wrong.
As far as crowning a new HoH goes I think that's the right move. We probably won't have a double eviction show next Thursday so that everything can continue to run on schedule. Although I do wonder about the ninth vote needed for the jury. Giving it to America is a very cool idea.
I do have one complaint though. Michelle should be allowed to play in the HoH competition because her reign didn't result in Chima leaving. If Chima got to play in the last HoH (which still doesn't make sense) then Michelle should be allowed in this one. I don't think it's a huge deal since all Natalie does is talk about winning while never actually winning and Lydia flat out sucks on ice so Team Technotronics should win but still... fair is fair.
The wild card is Kevin. If that boy has a right thought in his head he'll cut ties with at least Natalie and nominate her if he gets HoH. Continuing to cowtow to the widows is basically refusing to leave a sinking ship.
I really dont think it is fair how michele's HOH is taken away when no1 was evicted. i dont even care if someone fro her side wins the new hoh. The fact is an hoh is there until someone is evicted not if they leave by choice. Chima is getting what she wants by being a poor sport she left so her team gets a chance now. It really iratates me.plus michele only got to sleep in hOH one night. Im pissed.

They complain about everyone coming in and out of the pool room slamming the door. It's not their fault there is faulty construction in the house. That door doesn't have the proper hinge to stop it from slamming.

This is unbelievable. They should allow Michelle to play. I would love to know what is said in those AGP meetings that leads to some of their decisions. It should be a clean slate & let Michelle play.
Well, that's interesting. It's not so much that Michele loses her week, twists and turns are the breaks of the game. It's more that Chima managed to have so much power to influence the production by her outlandish behavior.
I've already made my peace with Chima (as I said earlier), this is more of a production complaint. And I get that sh*t happens, you have to roll with it, and I'm the first to preach this is a TV show first and foremost - about money for the network, etc.
But my gut doesn't like it. I think casting, production, the producers, the network, really screwed up this season - and though it's their show, the viewers pay the bills.
The most frustrating thing is that they have shot themselves in the foot by pushing things so far to the edge. I love BB and my BB summers, and I think this may be the beginning of the end. For those of you who don't know, rattings dropped a lot after the network edited out Bradon's racist comments, and they haven't pulled back up. The public isn't happy and that's not good for a TV show.

1. In JH, are they allowed to talk about what happened?
2. If not, how do they keep that enforced,
3. If they do talk, that might influence jury votes and the winner.
4. I wonder if they put Jessie in a seperate place for this reason.

It kind of sucks for Michelle that she only gets to be HoH for a couple days, but she got what she wanted (Chima's elimination) and there is now one less HG standing between her and the money.
It would have been more unfair to let Michelle keep her HoH and nominate a new nominee. Then she would have essentially gotten to target and eliminate two HGs for the price of one.
If Chima hadn't been Michelle's target this week, I think there would be a stronger argument to be made in favor of Michelle keeping her title or at least getting to compete in the new HoH. But, since Chima was the one to go, I think the option chosen is the fairest one.

Michele really is not getting screws. Chima was the one that was ultimatly going to get evicted and in other seasons, a fast forward week when someone is HOH for like 2 days.
And to just say, Michele was my fav from day 1.

I agree that they should allow Michele to play only because they allowed both Jeff and Chima to play last time. I don't understand why they even need a new HoH? Is that what they think will just be good TV on Sunday or Thursday? I don't see why Michele can't just put up another nom and go from there. The whole thing is strange. What do you think, Carolyn?
I am personally glad that Chima is gone. I have a hard time believing she actually "quit". I would be shocked if it wasn't that AGP and BB kicked her out. But, then again, these are people. Jeff, Jordan, and even Michele are so likeable just because they're down-to-earth and more "grounded" than everyone else. But still, I think that everyone would need therapy after this house, these people, this game!
Jane I agree with you about the show. Ratings have dropped and there are lots and lots of upset fans.
As far as Chima playing in last HOH, I wonder if AGP did that to keep Chima chilled down. They seem to have done alot for her.
Are they going to show the new comp on the Feeds?? They should since they show HOH endurance comps on the feeds! I think Michelle should be allowed to play also... I can't wait to see how they edit all of this!

Even natalie acknowledged when the feeds came back that michele got the short end of the stick. And the only reason that michele's hoh is getting cut is because production knows michele wouldnt be a poor sport whereas if she kept her hoh the widow alliance (woulod love to say what i really think of them but im keeping it pg).would complain and say iot was unfair. Im very disappointed in big brother right now.
Hopefully Jeff or Jordan will win. I don't think Russell would nominate Natalie.

Good afternnon everyone. Home from work and just got caught up on the posts and comments.I feel bad for Michele. doesn't get to enjoy her full week as HOH because of this mess? It's not her fault. Plus, Now Natalie dosn't have to sweat all week wondering if she is going home. I guess AGP had to do the best they could with the situation, but this changes everything. We dont really know for sure if Chima would have been the one voted out. The POV wasn't done yet and now Natalie could possibly get a free pass. I also wonder how CBS will spin this for the TV only crowd.
I just thought of something now it is three and against three. That is why Michelle is not playing.
I agree Jane! The viewers aren't happy and they pay the bills. Which is why they needed to do the Coup and had America vote for it! I'm thinking that they'll pick an HoH comp that would cater to the Technobrains, but you never know...

I am one that just didnt care so much for this season. Alot of it was Chima but alot of the good personalities left early in my opinion. It seems alot of rule breaking.
I hope future seasons, get better cast. Not to say that J/J werent cute, they are but seems this season was to immature for my liking.
That said, blow ups are great.
For future BB, casting will really have to be careful.

I think since Michele cannot play in the HOH comp, Natalie should not be allowed either...leaving her as one of the nominees. So that the new HOH can only nominate one.
So now I'm completely lost with what to do about the banner, lol. Grey out Chima? Remove Michele as HOH? Just write 'F$#& It All' across it? lmao this house gets crazier and crazier.
I don't know how they came to this conclusion. I guess since Michele was vocal about her intended target and wanting Chima out, she did get her wish (as most of us did). I don't think it's particularly fair to Michele. But knowing that Thursday was going to be "fast forward BB" perhaps the new HOH will get to enjoy more than an hour of being the HOH. I understand it, but I don't agree with it.
How in the world are they going to do a Tuesday show though, which would traditionally be the POV. I hope it's not an hour special on Chima. *shudder*

Hi---new to posting, but have been lurking @ this site for a LONG time, and totally LOVE it!...i do think it is unfair that michele can not play in the new hoh...the reason they said chima could play last week was b/c is wasnt an hoh decision to put out nat or jesse...by that same logic (and i use the term loosely)...chimas leaving was not b/c of the currents hoh's decision..but rather her own, or now that cbs is officially saying THEY tossed her, why should michele not have another chance....follow??? all in all, i know cbs/bb had to make a decision, but i hate that nat/lyd,and to some extent kev, get rewarded for their poor sportsmanship and childish behavior....i hate that the "sqeaky wheels" get all the attention,etc!!!

That is ridiculous! wow if i didnt know better i would think the powers that be at BB are trying hard to get lydia natalie and kevin into final 2...what a sham..granted chima is gone but she wasnt EVICTED so i think michele got screwed BIG TIME. I feel so bad for her...she got hosed..no room no comfort no nothing...then i read in a post she cant keep her food from her hoh basket and russ was eating it...jeez big brother could u give the kids who have been at the bottom of the house a break?!
I can see BB at least trying to figure out the fairest route here. At least this way both the HOH's this week get some time in the HOH room. If it had been a FF week the first HOH gets completely screwed out of the room.
I just really hope they don't try to block the feeds totally to keep us finding out the new comp results. I used to get so mad in the pre-Allstars seasons on double eviction week cause they blocked the feeds for days at a time to keep us in the dark.
This on again off again trivia is driving me battier. I've only been awake an hour after 4 hours of sleep.
I think this one may be for real... I dunno. I heard what I think was a Production Voice say "Do it!" just before this trivia. I reserve the right to be mistaken since I haven't had my morning cola, the drugs haven't kicked in yet and we are stil 90 minutes away from my somewhat moments coherency.

I thought about it for a minute and actually- it IS fair that michele should not play in the comp. I am actually a MICHELE fan...NOT a Chima fan! But here's the ting....Michele's target for the week was essentially evicted. so- since one of her nominees went home- she shouldn't get to play again. Game on... the thing I do think is unfortunate is that she doesn't get the room for a whole week like everybody else. But- she does get to keep all her goodies! I think CBS did make a good move here. Chima was way out of line and taking things to a personal level- and once she leaves here- she will be tied down with legal issues reguarding contracts as well as hated on by most of the people that recognize her. She truly was a poor sport in this game. Somebody please hire her some security for a few weeks as well as some severe mental therapy. If the story she told about being raped really was true (and I'm not saying she was lying)- she was already in a wavering mental state before she came into the house. From experience- it is next to impossible to recover from something like that. She should have never put herself in this position (BB game) to let her trust be compromised again. I blame her family for not stepping in here and I partly think the production team should have known her vulnerability here...this is assuming they knew about the rape incident.

Just because of Chima they are taking away Michele's HOH that she won fairly by playing the game fairly and because someone broke the rules she is being punished..C'mon CBS, this is crazy,look at everything you gave them this week to settle her down how much more favortism can you show one side...It is nice to see that Jeff, Jordan, Michele and even Russell have shown class over the last few days even though they have had their things thrown, stolen (russells rosary), hidden , yelled at ( with extremely racist remarks) and just tried to ignored it. I don't see the producers bending over backwards to compensate for them having to tolerate all that but instead patted Chima on the back. It's kinda like a kid not getting what they want and they throw a huge fit in a store so you go ahead and get them the toy so they will be quiet and not cause a scene.I am really going to be upset if Natalie or lydia win this...

Okay, after a little reflection I have some thoughts about the "shaft" that Michele is receiving *snicker* at the moment.
It reminds me of the Cinderella story. The evil bratty ungrateful stepsisters get everything handed to them while poor Cinderella toils without reward. But, lest we forget, it is Cinderella who lives happily ever after.
This visible unfairness will endear many of the fans to her. She is respectful, thoughtful, gentle, kind-hearted, and QUITE the gamer. She basically got rid of Chima within hours of nominating her, her exit was Michele's ultimate goal. I think it's unfair to her now, but when America's Choice comes up & it's a vote for a luxury or the Jury Prize or hell… even the extra Jury vote if she's final2 will probably go to Michele.

Natalie is one lucky girl. Chima just saved her ass because Chima might have gotten the POV.
The difference with the coup is that Chima made enemies in the house with her nominations, was trying to make a power play and then her nominations were completely overthrown and no one she wanted out even ended up on the block when all was said and done. That is why she was allowed to play in HOH.
With Michele, her target is the one who left the house. She made no more enemies and someone that she wanted out ultimately went out, that is why it is fair she doesn't get to play and Chima did.

I don't think it is unfair that Michele cannot compete for hoh this week. She nominated Chima with the hope that she would be evicted. Michele got exactly what she wanted as hoh. It would be unfair if someone had to be nominated in Chima's place. The only thing unfair is that michele was cheated out of her hoh room. But michele didn't even want to sleep up there last night and someone is always cheated out of the room when there is a double eviction. No harm, no foul.

After reading the first few posts here, I have a couple of thoughts:
*They are treating this as Michele's eviction. That would explain why she loses the HOH room and cannot compete.
*Chima got to compete last time to shut her mouth. Wouldn't surprise me that she told production what she had been telling EVERYONE: that the Coup power made it like she was never HOH, and she probably treatened legal action. I guess she showed all of us!!!
*They will find soome way of making ths up to Michele. At least she is enough of a grown up to not throw a hissy fit!

I'm surprised people are saying this is unfair, to me this is just an early double eviction show.
Michele has fared better than if she were the 1st HOH during a normal double eviction show.
I would be very surprised that the producers don’t have contingency plans in place. I’m sure they have every type of scenario planned out for months in advance.
As to what is fair in terms of behaviour and punishment of the house guests, we are not privy the rules the house guests agree to abide by upon entering the house, we do not see most of the diary room sessions so, who is to say what warnings or penalties they have been given.
Sure,the network, producers etc want a lively, suspenseful show however, they also want to ensure the house guests safety and well being. Just because we don’t see the warnings or hear about the penalties does not mean there have been none.
This is not the first person to leave a reality show unexpectedly and I’m sure it will not be the last.
Expect the unexpected...

Paula, the fines have been referred to by the HG's. Actually Chima made comment to Nat a few days back when Nat was going to do something that BB would fine her for doing that and deduct it from her stipend. So Chima was aware of the penalties involved with certain actions.
It is rumored that AG made a statement to Chima in the meeting that she was going to deduct the mike's cost from her stipend and that was when Chima lost it finally and said she wanted to quit in that case. Suppposedly the other two wanted to quit as well, but they were convinced to stick it out.
