Michele and Jeff wonder if Russell has changed his mind and wants Lydia out now, and that's why he's starting fights with her... Either way, they don't care. Ronnie's leaving.

Michele: They even sat there making fun of her...

I do agree with ure earlier sentiments about Kevin. He is the ONLY 1 that could possibly be swayed if Russell were to change his mind at the last minute to keep Ronnie & boot Lydia. Unless Lydia does something that truly turns Kevin away, I see Ronnie walking out of the house this Thursday. YAY!!

I have been out of touch for about a week because of my son's wedding on Saturday morning. It was a beautiful wedding and even the weather was good for Texas. I spent most of yesterday and a lot of today just catching up on the posts and comments. I was disappointed that Russell won HOH but it looks like it is all good. Jordan, Jeff and Michelle are my favorites. Let's hope things work out that Ronnie is out the door. Then time to get Jessie out next.
Thank you Carolyn for this wonderful site. I would have been very unhappy if I did not have a place to come and catch up.

Lydia is really really starting to get on my nerves. For her to say that Jordan is going to use guys to float her along really pisses me off!! That is what Lydia is doing and has been doing and will continue to do as long as she is in the house. She doesn't even try to win anything.

Listening to Kevin and Lydia makes me want to just puke. They are so clueless to the fact that Jessie, Natalie and Chima think they are total floaters. Even Jeff, Michele and Jordan can see they add nothing to the game.
It brings a smile on my face when Kevin and Lydia watch the season, they will see exactly what everyone has said about them during the game.

I have to say that I love Jordan and Jeff and I'm on their team but I think I'm also on team Jessie, even if that does sound weird. I *hated* Jessie last season and couldn't wait for him to go home but he's come back a new player and I like it. Russell though, I'm not a fan. I know you love him, Carolyn and all the other ladies in here, but he's such a baby and a bull that it drives me nuts. He complains about Ronnie lying constantly but he has final 2 deals with everybody in the house. Also he is high horse everytime he gets paranoid and thinks that by yelling he can win an arguement, he's no different than any other high school bully. I'm not a big fan of Ronnie but I'm starting to like him more than Russell.. It's so annoying! "I'm HoH this week so everybody better do what I say or you're my next target!!" Last year when people said that everyone on this board gave them crap for it saying that just because you are HoH doesn't mean you control everyone's votes... but just because he's a pretty thing to look at for the ladies now everyone likes him I think..
And Lydia.. God, she is getting annoying too! She has this little baby talk voice whenever she tries to make things go her way and shes flirting and begging with whoever is the current HoH, it's pathetic.
If Michelle says "Dude" one more time, I'm going to pull my hair! Other than that, I'm glad she finally started playing the game. I hope it's Ronnie this week, Russell next week, then Lydia..

O.K. Maybe I am being picky but in my opinion his math is off. Technically he only had two chances. He could have used Russell as an original nominee or as a replacement once the POV was used. To be really picky, whether he was an original nominee or a replacement, It still means Russell only would have been nominated for Eviction once since Ronnie wss only HOH one time.
Just sayin'-any good debator can always make the other side see their point of view.
Lydia, Lydia, Lydia! Why oh why are you so dumb? I've always been a Lydia fan but I'm going to have to abandon ship. She's too crazy and doesn't play smart (at all). I'm not sure it's a wise decision to invest any more time into her. That being said, Ronnie is WAY worse and I'd much rather see him go. Also, it will be interesting to see how far Jessie goes to throw Lydia under the bus now. Thursday can't come fast enough for me!

I LOVE this new M/J/J alliance. It's awesome!!! Finally some likable people teaming with a brain.
I realized that now we're almost 1 month into it, I have distinct impressions of the HG's this season:
Nat has to go...Lydia is getting weirder by the day....Jessie can dish it out, but can't handle when he doesn't have any power.....Russell still seems to be playing the game....Kevin is more pleasant than I expected, which is nice, but he needs to quit floating and play.....Michele is finally coming out of her shell....Chima is a little annoying but doesn't offend me much yet....Jordan is hilarious and cute as a button, I think she is underestimated....Jeff is cute, of course, and totally in love with Jordan....Ronnie has overplayed waaaaay to much and needs to go......who did I forget?

Okay, it is my birthday week and this is what I would like as my gift; Ronnie out on Thursday, then Chima to get HOH and put up Jeff and Jordan. Bear with me; I like Jeff and Jordan and their alliance with Russell and Michele. After Chima puts up Jeff and Jordan, Jeff (because we know he will get the power) can then on Thursday, right before the vote, switch the nominees to Natalie and Jessie and KABOOM, one of them goes out.
Not too much to ask, right?
I have been lurking around the edges of this site for a while now. Made one or two posts -- so few mainly because by the time I get to the end of the comments everybody else has said (several times in many cases) exactly what I would say.
I do feel a need, though, to defend Jordan.
It seems to be the nature of people with overblown egos and hyped up opinions of their own worth, that people like Jordan are "dumb" or "stupid."
They are so self-involved they can't comprehend there are actually people on this planet who are just basically downright NICE people, without a truly mean bone in their body.
Jordan, as she said, is "not the sharpest (brightest) crayon in the box." She is, however, IMNSHO -- thanx, GaYtOr -- one of the "truest" colors in the box.
Rather than finding her dumb or stupid, I find her naievete and honest openness to be refreshing. I only regret that those attributes will work against her winning the money. However, she has already won the game. She will go home with nothing to feel bad about and nothing to regret in the way she handled herself during the game.
Some other poster (sorry, don't remember who) asked why BB picked her. I really don't know. They have to have known her total lack of any chance to win, since she is definitely NOT a Ronnie, Jessie, Natalie, Chima, Evil Dick, Dr. Will, et. al. Maybe it was to give the viewer at least one person they could feel good about rooting for, even if we already know she has the chance of a small snowball in hell.
Jordan cemented her sweetness of personality for me when she said she wished Renny could be with this house this season; that she thought Renny would have made her laugh. Jordan doesn't have a sneaky bone in her body, and doesn't feel the need to hide anything because she doesn't think any thoughts that would need to be hidden.
Sorry for the length. I just get so tired of having to bitch about all the rotten applies, that I got a little carried away with being able to actually speak well of somebody.
For the most part I could speak well of Jeff, as well, with two exceptions: I wish he wouldn't utter the word "homo" quite so often, and I wish he wouldn't talk to Jordan in quite such a gruff, condescending manner when chastizing her for saying too much. (To Jordan's credit, she accepts Jeff's tone with equanimity -- another beautiful asset of this wonderful adult child.)
Hi everyone....I know a new post is coming but I wanted to say that last night I was thinking.....If Michelle had used the veto and taken Lydia down and Russell had put either Natalie or Jessie up, then Ronnie would have certainly gone home....
Just a heads up The CBS Coup D'Etat voting page is messed up. Jeff's picture is over Jessie's name. And Chima's picture is over Jeff's name. Don't vote until it's cleared up. And leaves them a message.
Watch out voting; I was voting and all of a sudden the names and pictures got mixed up again.
Maybe its my computer; just be careful.

Just FYI I went to do some more voting for Jeff of the power and the voting site is messed up again, Chima's name is gone and Russell's Picture...just frustrading when it is messed up like this. Makes me worry if they got the voting all right...I am sure we will hear outrage on this if Ronnie or his rat pack get it. Just a heads up to let all the fellow dishers know. We should do a voting party all day tomorrow for Jeff, Russell, Jordan or Michelle to get the power and let CBS know to get the site fixed. ((Even better hold off another week on using the power and have it for the next two weeks after this eviction so Ronnie is a for sure go home...or praying he is))

Ya know, whatever happened to the days when the HOH room was "the" HOH's room and others didn't go meander in any time they felt like it or knocked before walking right in and set up residence (for however long)?
It's annoying and for me, it takes away the "Power and Acheivement" of having won the competition to be awarded that advantage (and subsequent disadvantage often times directly after).
Mostly I just dislike Jessie and Natalie's sense of entitlement and their game!

Alisa, I agree! The Fab Four (RMJJ) need to get together for a "what if" session and plan different scenarios as to what they need to do with the wizard power should one of them get it.

Chloe-that's my ideal scenario for next week to unfold. Yes, I'll be happy if Michelle, Jeff or Jordan wins HOH but then the Coup doesn't get used at all. This way if Chima wins, she, Jesse and Nat will walk around thinking they're back in charge. Russell will probably be hanging more with them too-safety in numbers. Then ta-da! Jesse/Nat you are on the block and the vote is immediate.
Michelle, Jeff, Jordan would definitely vote out Jesse. If Russ is smart he'd do the same. Then all 4 of them are eligible to play for HOH. Giving them a possible 3rd week in charge! A girl can dream!

My wife's mother's has been in and out of the hospital for the past month. Hours ago she got a call from the doctor saying that her mother wasn't expected to make it throught the night, and that she was strongly encouraged to come. We live in Boston, her mom is in Minessotta...........
well, naturally my wife has taken off, just saw her at the airport. I cannot fly due to my lungs, so my hands are completely tied unless she would like to bury more than one person, so I really am at a loss right now.
I have never in my entire life felt this helpless. I would like to ask any of you, all of, you maybe say a prayer to whomever it is you pray to, it makes no difference to me..........
I know God only knows what people think of me with a name like EvelAlida, but even I have my relationship with my Lord and because of this, truly believe in prayer and power in numbers
Please, it would take a few seconds at best and I don't know what else to do in the meantime.....

WendyLady, I do read every comment. That's why I stay so far behind and Carolyn tricks me with New Posts. I'm glad you can get some relief too. I understand about pain still there but you get your mind off of it. It's the same way with my Vicodin HP, but after so many years that just doesn't have the same effect. I still take it but eventually, like any other pain med, you become immune (not the right word) to the effects. It just takes more and more and I refuse to graduate to Oxycontin or worse.

No advice but I have been in similar situations but not any as big as Danny's mother. She's healthy and travels constantly, loving retirement. We are so happy for her.
