Tuesday Afternoon in the Big Brother 11 House
Good afternoon, BB Lovers! :) If you missed the morning post, make sure to check it out, so you'll be up to speed with what's going on between Russell and Michele.
It's 12:20pm BBT.
- Michele's sweeping up.
- Russell's working out on the elliptical, as he has been for a while now.
- Kevin's moving about... we follow him into the Haves Room, where he finds...
Lydia's just recently put her uni on, but she's still in bed and growly... and.. scratch that, the uni's off again. Now she's sporting a cami that matches her fuschia hair perfectly... and lol, now she's getting the uni back on. Per her request, Kevin comes to help zip her up. She says she's gonna go work out... and dons her superhero cape.. and the goggles... and Lydia and Kevin head outside.

Kevin begins doing light bicep curls in the mirror... making squinchy face with every lift. He does a few, then heads over to the bench to do dips for his triceps... then back to the mirror for more curls.

Natalie & Lydia
Natalie just had her phone call. She's very happy... She got cut off a little faster than she would've liked, but she feels like she was able to say everything sh wanted, and it was just great to hear his voice. She's sniffling, talking about how amazing it was...
Kevin enters. Natalie continues describing the call. She's been worried about her dad being alone... She tells them that her dad and brother have been watching the show together, and that her boyfriend's been watching the live feeds.. and that they're watching and supporting her...
She asked about her sister, and her dad said she's watching and supporting her. Dad also told her that his work situation has improved. Dad ressured her that she's making good decisions... and she told him that everything she's done has been strategic... (referring to Jessie)
She told him that it's been a really tought week for her... and that to hear from him, it's exactly what she needed. He said, I know it's been a rough week...
"It just.. it was really good.. He told me that he totally supports me... He wants me to stay here. he wants me to fight... So, I'm excited and happy... Oh, and he said that, Jason told me to tell you he has a twistie for you when you get out... "
The twistie refers to what her boyfriend's parents gave eachother instead of rings when they first got together... Natalie told her dad to tell him she accepts, but she'll want a princess cut diamond to follow it.
Lydia and Kevin are being supportive listeners. Lydia interjects that she better not see Jessie at their wedding.

Michele tells her about the paranoia she was feeling yesterday, and that it even invaded her dreams... she mentions the yellow shirts everyone was wearing again, then sets to shaving her legs.

Jordan heads downstairs to the backyard to ask Natalie about her phone call. Natalie retells the tale... We learn that her boyfriend stays up all night watching the feeds.
Everyone, no matter their feelings for Natalie, has been checking in to hear about her phone call, and perhaps feel their own families love vicariously through her...

Jordan goes in to the kitchen and tells Jeff how happy Natalie is, and how happy she is for Natalie. They're both fixing food.. and telling each other how well they each slept last night... together. It's a good sign.

Lydia & Natalie are on the couch. Kevin's on the elliptical. Russell's working out, but he's feeling really sore from the massage last night.
***Someone should've told him to drink a lot of fluids last night.
Lydia's pissed that whoever woke them this morning didn't play music. Natalie's happy about it.
Lydia: Dude, your boyfriend's seen everything...
Natalie: I'm ok with that...
Lydia: But you've made reference to Jessie's package.
Kevin: Yes you have...
Natalie: It was totally visible...
Lydia: Dude, you're totally gonna get engaged when you get outta here.
Natalie says she's marry Jason in a heartbeat... Lydia says it would be so cool if he proposed at the finale.
Kevin: If I make it to the final 2, I want it to be the first gay proposal on live tv.
Talk between Natalie & Lydia turns to Michele... Lydia tells her about the "apology." Natalie says "she knows better than to even try to apologize to me. That would be unleashing the pit bull."
Lydia keeps going on about Michele calling her a c-nt behind her back... Not so, she said it directly to Lydia the day of Jordan's HoH win.

Jeff comes outside to eat.
Natalie and Lydia are talking a little good natured smack to each other about who's going to win PoV. Natalie says she's going to win, and adds that after speking to her dad today, she can't go home this week.

***Fishies. Is she lying to him, or did someone in production just get fired for changing the settings on the twitter account so the HoH was actually able to see incoming tweets?
***btw, apologies for no pics on this post. My cable went out at 11:45am BBT, and this whole post has been being typed at Starbucks. I was about to leave and go home a few minutes ago (got a call that the outage is over), but then the sky opened up - major storm.. so here i sit... let's see if i can make the sniping tool work and add some color to this post.

- Jordan is lying in the pool then moves to the hammock.
- Russell is unknown...
- Jeff and Jordan are talking about how well they slept last night. Jeff says that Jordan was cupping his bum in her sleep. (**LOL! Who could blame her.)

Michele is turbo whispering that Jeff must have told Lydia that she called her a c*nt because Lydia called her out on it.
Michele: He may be trying to make Lydia mad so she will go after you.
Russell: He's trying to get one of us out.
Michele: The stuff I told to Chima, they probably told to him and he's mad at me.
Russell: Let's play it cool. I'm trying to be white on rice around him today.
Michele: We need to POV and not use it because they might be trying to backdoor us.
Russell: I'm not surprised.Jeff is trying to play the game now. Maybe he isn’t set on the F4 deal.
Michele goes outside to get her laundry and Lydia is giving her the death stare.
Jeff and Jordan are sunning. No talk there. Kevin has decided to follow in Jordan's tradition...
Russell and Michele have joined Jeff in the pool. Lydia begins bashing Michele to Natalie calling her a d*mba**.
Russell gets out of the pool to lie down. Michele and Jeff speculate on the POV. Lydia goes inside to cook some food. Natalie joins her and they speculate about the POV and an upcoming Double Eviction. (**DE has been preempted by Chima's departure.)

Kevin, Natalie & Lydia
Kevin tells them that Jeff doesn't have a F2 deal with Jordan, but they all think he has an F2 with Michele. They say that Michele has an F2 deal with all three of them. Kevin thinks that their plan will work because both Michele and Russell are shady. Natalie wants to feed on Russell's paranoia and get him to break. Kevin tells them to cool it because they will start to wonder why they are pushing for Russell to leave.
Kevin: Have you noticed every time they want to talk to us about LML they call Jeff or Jordan into DR?
Natalie: I was the mastermind behind the LML and you (Kevin) were the executioner. Lydia spews more Michele hate. Kevin tells her to tone it down.
Jeff passes through to DR and they change the subject.

Jeff is showing Jordan a card trick and they are having a great time.
Michele joins them and the atmosphere sobers up a bit. Michele breaks the silence by saying that every time she gets bored, she cleans. She says that the downstairs bathroom is filthy. The conversation is stilted with a lot of silences.

I have a weird feeling that the romance between Jordan and Jeff wont last outside of house. I think Jeff is really into her but she is not into Jeff like that.
It is looking more and more like POV live on Thurs. I'm not sure it will be an endurance HOH if that is the case. I realize this hasn't been the typical DE week but have they ever had endurance follow a DE?
I'm on board with the live POV, I think that's exactly right.
So, Michele does actually have bi-polar disorder? Obviously treated. That may actually explain why she is as stable as she is - really the most stable (consistent) in the house. Mood stabilizers will do that to you. It would also explain her social awkwardness, in the sense that she probably had social issues during her life because of mental health issues.
BTW, there seems to be a correlation between intelligence and mental illness. I don't have any data handy, but a disproportionate number of exceptionally intelligent people have clinical mental health issues.
I've been meaning to do my annual psychoanalysis of everyone, but I just haven't gotten around to it.
I'll say this though, you don't have to be Freud to know Lydia has clinical depression. She does not appear to be bi-polar to me at all. I don't see any mania, just depression and lifting of depression. If she is treated it's not working particularly well, and if it's not treated, it should be.

Taking a small break here - just finished going through my sons drawers to get rid of the small stuff and make room for his new school clothes. Its offical - my kids are mutations!!! 1 industrial garbage bag full - oh i can hear my visa crying!
I don't know what other people do but we have a lot of low income single moms around here so i always post up an ad of kijiji and just give his old clothes away. Donating them to second hand places seems stupid to me cause they try and charge silly amounts for second hand and some families just can't afford that and i use to be one of them.
I would if I could sweetie, but work may not like that too much. I'm sure anyday now I'll come in and there will be a missive about visiting blogs and such while on the clock.
That's the day I will really cry at work.

II know I'm a dude so maybe I'm just as clueless as Jeff, but I just don't get why everyone seems to think JORDAN is not so into JEFF. Have you seen the way she looks at him? how giggly & embarrassed she gets around him? How concerned she is that he seems irritable? If anything, it would seem to me that Jeff isn't as into Jordan as she thinks.

abwildrose - thank you! I just think that now that i'm in a better position then i use to be its my turn to help someone else out. Being a single mom i use to stress out so much come August wondering how the hell i was gonna afford making sure my kids had what they needed and i was lucky with ppl who would pass down their kids too small stuff. And with this recession - low income families are struggling even more so if my sons old clothes helps one family make it through the back to school rush then i feel like i did something good.

Since Thursday was supposed to be a double eviction. I can see it being a live POV so that the winner will have to make a split decision on whether or not to use the pov, and then the HOH will have to decide on the spot who to replace that person with. Then the immediate vote to evict. Since Chima ruined that plan. [I don't care if that makes you think I'm racist. LOL] anyway, since Chima did RUIN that plan. That's as close to a double eviction that they can have.

Jordan said she was not into him like that and for some reason I really think that is true. I am a female but her body language says otherwise. I really do think she cares for him but not as husband/wife. I could be wrong, wouldnt be the first or last time....

I wish I could remember the day and time for the ability to Flashback ... but, I do recall Jordan discussing her relationship with Jeff saying that she was so young and not thinking towards settling down yet, whereas Jeff really was ready to settle down and make a family. I think they are both into each other, but have different needs at this moment in time. Things can change ... Ya just never know.
BB was prepared already for the live POV comp. So I assume they will go from there as they were already planning to do - Fastfowarding only with the new HOH, Jordan (I mistakenly said Michele in an earlier post) and the nominations ... The rest will go down as originally planned.
BB hates change, hence we will be watching the Power of HOH comp tonight instead of the Power of Veto it was supposed to be ... got to give it to the producers for creativity, not ... lol
On another note - I cannot fall asleep with my laptop in hand again. Besides waking up with QWERTY embossed on my face, listening to the houseguests overnight ... I found in my dreams I had "snuck" into the BB house and took Chima's vacancy. It's OK though, the HG's gave me a unanimous vote to stay!! Yeah me ...

Okay, just got to say something that's been bugging me for days. (finally signed up for a google account so I could comment. LOL)
Anyway, Jeff's distrust of Michele has bugged me from day 1. If he were to look logically at all her moves/actions, he'd see she's done nothing against him in that house. She may have played both sides (not true IMO-she has always been loyal to J/J-just keeping herself safe) but she's not done anything against his interests.
Now this week, Jordan made the mistake of telling Michelle they could share the HOH room and then J/J proceeded to get grumpy about no alone time. Where the heck is Michele supposed to go? Lydia, Natalie hate her and Kevin's always with them. If she spends to much time with Russell, J/J think she's scheming. It's ridiculous. I'm over the showmance. It's a game, get your head in the game.
I wish Russell hadn't went nuts on her during his HOH week. She could have felt safe in that bond and realized that she can't keep playing for 3rd in the J/J alliance.
Catching up then I am off again. No show for me tonight.:(

If they go ahead with getting one of the widows out this week Jeff and Russ will be after each other next week. Then which ever one survives will the target. It really comes down to HOH on Thurs.

I know C U Next Tuesday is an offensive name to call someone, but cut me a break. Sometimes people get what they deseve and after the things Nat and Lyd did to people, especially Michelle, as far as I'm concerned Lydia should be thankful that's all Michelle called her. I probably would have thought of a lot more names.

Hi Everyone! I'm just catching up after days and days of non-stop activity and Whoa! What a madhouse this has been recently! Well, ok, not for the last day or two, but it has been one crazy week!
Chima gone ... YaY! Jumping up and down for joy .. Girl just couldn't see why everyone didn't bow down to her wishes as HoH ... Well, hon, that's the way the BB house rolls sometimes. You either go with it or you break. She broke and needed to leave. Her choice or production's choice, doesn't really matter cuz it just needed to be done.
So, is it me or does the power really make folks paranoid in that house? And why, Oh Why?!, can't J/J just hang on for another week or two before exiting their alliance? Numbers, folks. That's what counts in this game ... Numbers ... no one can do it alone.

I see the point, but IMO the final HoH is the key to ensuring you are in F2 ... your alliance will only get you so far no matter what. Michelle has shown she is capable of winning so what's the problem? I hope she sticks with J/J and they all stick with Russell to F4. Then it's every man/woman for him/herself. As it should be.
They just need to get back on the same page with strategy and stop letting KNL get under their skin ... and Michelle needs to do something to improve her memory .. soon ...
I've used the FB several times, and can't see Jeff's morning excitement, but I did see Jordan rub his tush just before he got up, lol

Michele has in the last few days been playing Jeff against Russell, feeding them both just enough to make them distrust each other. J/J talk to her, tell her almost everything and she goes straight to Russell and tells him just enough of what was said the start him thinking that something is going on and he is be betrayed. I realize she is trying to get to the end, but I hate to see her do that to Jeff and Russell, it will eventually hurt Jordan also.

i think that would be bad if they have a live pov thursday. jordan has said several times that one of her concerns about putting russel up as a replacement nominee is that they would have to deal with him freaking out. she may be more inclined to put him up if its live. she is not very smart and doesnt give enough importance to the numbers and getting the 3 headed cerberus down to 2 heads. i think production knows this and is using it to give the liars time to stir thing up enough to give them a chance to even things up. suspicious to me, they should have the pov but its not looking like they will before thurs
Can someone please tell me what the hell is wrong with Michele? Why would Jeff tell Lydia that she called her a c u next tuesday..lol she screamed it to her face,also she started this whole thing by telling J&J about all the things Russel said or really didn't say, I am starting to think she really is crazy. I do hope Russel talks to them so they can clear the air.

I hope Michelle isn't having a breakdown now. She's been playing Jeff against Russell too hard and basically demolishing the F4 at this point.
Not smart. Get rid of Natalie or Kevin this week and then decide the F4.
Both Jeff and Russell have said you have to play week by week. Don't play too far ahead.
What did I miss? When I turned on the feeds, Jeff was gathering the garbage and making fruit salad with a HUGE glob of Cool Whip. Then he went outside.

LOS ANGELES – Why exactly was Chima Simone kicked out?
Tuesday's "Big Brother 11" episode promised to address why producers removed the outspoken 33-year-old freelance journalist from the CBS reality series, which isolates 13 contestants inside a makeshift two-story house from the outside world and monitors their every move with dozens of cameras.
"You will see why, basically, our back was up against the wall and we had to expel her from the game," show host Julie Chen said Monday on CBS' "The Early Show," which she co-hosts. "You will see her behavior that led up to the expulsion. Then, you can decide."
CBS released a statement Saturday that said Simone, from West Hollywood, Calif., was evicted by the producers for violating the rules. The network said also that Simone will not be part of the reality show's seven-person jury, which selects the $500,000 grand prize winner.
Sunday's episode revealed how irritated Simone was because her ally, bodybuilder Jessie Godderz, was spontaneously nominated for eviction Thursday because of the "coup d'etat," a power secretly voted on by viewers that was used to overthrow Simone's nominations.
Fans have questioned whether Simone was booted or quit. Chatter from the remaining seven houseguests suggest she wanted out of the house. On Friday, Simone was seen on the show's live Internet video feeds throwing her microphone into the backyard whirlpool spa.
"She still didn't have to leave after that. She just didn't want to be here," contestant Natalie Martinez said on Monday's "Big Brother After Dark," an uncensored and unedited live Showtime 2 broadcast of what's happening inside the house each night.
Lou Manza, who heads the psychology department at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa., said Simone's physical outburst was enough to merit dismissal from the house, especially because contestants can't communicate with friends or family during filming.
"If someone is throwing their microphone in a hot tub, they're breaking down," Manza said. "You're removed from your social support, so there's no way of coping. What else could happen later? Things could get much uglier much quicker if you don't respond."
Manza said because the houseguests can't blow off steam as they would outside the "Big Brother" house — say by going for a jog, reading or watching TV — it's easier for participants to reach their boiling point and take frustrations out on the production.
Since entering the house last month, Simone has been one of the season's most defiant houseguests. When she was nominated for eviction during the first week, CBS censored her live last-plea speech, which referred to derogatory terms used by her competitor.
Last week, Simone sparred with houseguest Russell Kairouz, saying the Lebanese-American mixed martial arts fighter was a "terrorist because you're terrorizing everybody in the house." Kairouz retaliated by calling Simone, who is African-American, "the true racist."
Producers have evicted two contestants on previous "Big Brother" editions. Justin Sebik was kicked off the second season when he placed a knife to the throat of a fellow houseguest. Scott Weintraub was removed from the fourth season after throwing furniture.

As far as I can see no one was seriously hurt which is a good thing. Tornado's are scary, although this may sound horrible I get kind of excited when I hear their is a Tornado or Hurricane watch, that could be because all we get in Maryland are 'watches' don't think I have ever even seen a small one. So it could just be excitement at the unknown for me. I have always loved big thunder storms as well.
Hope I did not offend anyone, I certainly would not want anyone to get hurt by one.
J/J are by far my favorite players of this season... However Michele and Russell are the best players of this season...
Combined R/M have won the majority of the competitions and the pressure of that is getting to them both...
Michele bothers me though, she has blogged that her loyalty is with J/J and then leaks info from him to Russell... Then she sits up in the HOH room watching J/J on the monitor and then minutes later confronts Jeff acting like he hurt her feelings...
As for Russell he knows that his best chance to win is with Michele... Michele knows that she cant win against J/J however at this point the best Michele can hope for is 2nd or 3rd place so her best bet is to remain loyal to J/J... Yea, thats what I think...
