The Overnight Report

Good morning, BB Lovers! Happy Tuesday!

The HGs had a shockingly early night last night, so I took advantage and hit the gym at 3am BBT/6am eastern for my cardio before I started on The Overnight Report. Relax the Back is taking amazing care of my spine this season, courtesy of the chair, but I'm still responsible for the rest of me, and since I'm alone til Friday, I've really gotta maximize all available time! :0) Sleep, HGs... sleep til 9am BBT, please!

As you know, yesterday was full of everyone comparing their Shelly notes and coming to the conclusion that she's been manipulating every last one of them, as well as the game as a whole, the entire time. To that end, a very important conversation between Rachel & Jordan happened rather early in the evening last night, so we'll being there...

Jordan and Rachel

Rachel and Jordan agree that Kalia and Jordan are just pretending to be aligned with them, now that they're safe for the week, and that they'll be coming after them next week, just as Jordan and Rachel will be going after Porsche and Kalia next week... That much is clear on both ends... What's interesting to the game this week is this:

Rachel: So I have a question for you. Do you have your microphone on?

Jordan: Yeah.

Rachel: This is just totally playing devil's advocate.. Something I just came up with while we were just talking.. What if.. we kept Shelly in the house because she's such a big target? She's such a big target, everybody hates her, if we kept her another week, people are gonna keep going after her.

Jordan: But what if she turns on us..

Rachel: She doesn't have to.. We already know she's turned on us. She's not with us.. But it depends on how much we trust Adam.. because if she were to throw the HoH for 5..

Jordan: But how do we know we can trust the way she votes?

Rachel: We don't have to. As long as we win the HoH next week, if she were still in this house, and then it came down to 5, we could be like, and then, when it came down to 4, if Kalia was gone, and it came down to Porsche and Shelly.. It just depends how much we trust Adam. It's just something I thought of.. just right now...

Jordan: Well you've been right about everything.

Rachel: Only because I'm thinking.. There's still 6 people in the house.. and she's not a competitor.. It's not like we're keeping a Brendon.. It'd be keeping someone who can't win anything who everyone in the house hates.

Jordan: Another thing,

Rachel: And that nobody trusts..

Jordan: Let's say if she did make it to 3.. people in the jury house might say, she was the manipulator.. she was.. and people might vote for her.. and we don't have a chance. Like, let's say I don't make it and you do.. even though you've won competitions, people'll be like, man, she got all of us to hate each other.. and win.

Rachel: Or people will be like, we can't stand her..

Jordan: I told Kalia today, Daniele was throwin' her under the bus.

Rachel: Well, Daniele was a total manipulator too.

Jordan: Yeah, I know. We had two.

Rachel: Yeah.. but uh.. ok.. so, even if she got down to final 3?

***Aoooga-ooooga!! This is the cartoon noise that's playing in my head right now. That and.. Danger, Will Robinson... Danger!

Rachel: If it's an Endurance, a skill, and um the A/B, we know we'll beat her in Endurance.

Jordan: mm hmm

Rachel: The skill? It's 50-50. But with Adam? We'll beat him in Endurance, but with the skill, he could pull it out...

Jordan: (pause)

Rachel: It's just something to think about, and it's Monday..

Jordan: yeah yeah yeah..

Rachel: So it's something to think about, because.. if she's here next week, she's gonna go. Over me.

Jordan: Do ya think?

Rachel: Like, if she's on the block next to me, people will vote her out over me.

Jordan: Ya think?

Rachel: I think so.

Jordan: Cuz if somethin' happened, and you left... I would be with her.. and that's giving Porsche an advantage.

Rachel: omg, I know.. that would be such a nightmare..

Jordan: Because, who knows? if she does.. since she's playing the manipulator, she could just throw it, and then it's me, Kalia and you.. cuz Adam would be gone.

Rachel: But that's what I'm saying.. She would throw the HoH, giving us a bigger advantage... cuz Adam's not gonna throw it. It just depends if we trust him. If he were to win HoH this week, he promised us, but what is he gonna do? There's 3 people to put up.

Jordan: He swore he'd put them up. He's more honest with his word than she is.

Rachel: Oh, I don't trust her for a dime...

Jordan: Let's say we didn't win and they got you out...

This conversation is ongoing... While Rachel just put it out there as food for thought, Jordan is deftly dissuading with gently stated arguments. Who can you trust when 500,000 is on the line and, since you're safe this week, there are only 4 roadblocks left in your way to getting it? Jordan subtly persuades Rachel back to her camp.

Skipping ahead a few minutes to 7:16pm, Rachel reveals what she believes to have been their biggest mistake in the game:

Rachel: I feel like the one mistake we did make was calling Daniele out about backdooring, because I think she wouldn't have started the war with Brendon, she wouldn't have started the war with Jeff, and I think that we could have...

Jordan: Worked with her?

Rachel: Well.. worked with her as much as we needed to, and then gotten rid of her later on. I think Brendon and Jeff would still be here. I think if we would've kept.. If we would've been like, look, this is what's goin' on..

Jordan: Right..

Rachel: ..but just the 4 of us talked about it? I think that that would have..

Jordan: Then she wouldn't have started that war..

Rachel: Exactly. And I think that would've kept..

Jordan: Everyone together.

Jordan makes a good point...

Jordan: Well, look... She's the one who started all that, and she's not here.

Rachel: I know.. but I feel like that war wouldn't have happened, and this would've been a totally different game.. totally different.

Jordan excuses herself to go get her stuff, then returns to the bathroom to shower. While she's showering, she and Rachel talk about Kalia and Porsche, and how there's no way they are actually with them, and even if Kalia and Porsche are, by some miracle, the two of them need to make sure they're in power next week and calling the shots.

Rachel: Well, I'm just glad we won the Veto this week..

Jordan: Ohmigah, I know.

Rachel: And.. (whispered) We have to win HoH.

Jordan: I know.

Rachel: Because no matter what we decide to do at that point, we have the power.

Jordan: Right. I don't see an advantage to keepin' Shelly. I think if we do keep her, we're just asking..

Rachel: ..for trouble.

Jordan: I think you're just asking to be evicted.. cuz I don't think she has your best interests..

Rachel: I think you're right. And.. she turned on Jeff at the drop of a hat...

Jordan: She told me today, if we keep her, "I'll make sure you get to final 2." She told me that today when we were by ourselves.. She dropped Jeff like that? She for sure would drop me like that.

Rachel: Jeff did a lot for her. She would definitely drop me.

Jordan: I think she can do that because she's that mom type and so nice, and then people feel like they can trust her... and feel like.. awww.. and then she starts all that.. and you're like maybe? If you thought it since week 3, why would we?

Rachel: That's true.

Jordan: So.. I don't think it'd be a good idea.

Kalia comes over to join them, fresh from her workout with Porsche...

Kalia: Whatever you guys decide to do.. I know you say you're not telling or whatever..

Jordan: I just don't want people.. the 2 people.. nominees.. up my butt all week.

Kalia: No, I know.. If you.. can you... let me know? Even at the last second? Like Thursday morning?

Jordan/Rachel: Oh yeah...

Rachel: We just don't know how much drama it will cause, if we tell her she's leaving.. I'm assuming it will cause.. a lot.

Kalia: It'll make her...

Jordan: I'm sure she has an idea.. if she keeps talking to me..

Kalia: Yeah, but I think she really thinks you guys are considering it. She said that to me earlier. "They're really considering it.. I'm just gonna keep pitching an all girl.." And i'm thinking in my head, well, there will be an all-girl.. but..

Jordan/Rachel: hehehe

Kalia: But I was like, Yeah, keep doing that.. Keep trying that and see if that works..

Rachel: And that's what we're kind of saying too.. Like, whatever she says to me, I'm like, I see what you're saying.. I completely hear where you're coming from..

Kalia: She told me last week, "if you're on the block, I'll vote to keep you," and she voted for Daniele. So...

Jordan: Really?? And... after what y'all said, she kept promising us the world the other night, saying "I'm totally with you two 100%... I'm not with them 2 girls..."

Kalia: I know. I knew she was doing that..

Porsche: What really pissed me off was...

Porsche and the twins join the conversation, and round 2? round 3? of Shelly-Fest 2011, where they all openly discuss all the Shelly discrepancies, lies and manipulations they've all fallen prey to all season long, comes to order. I recommend going to flashback and watching from 8:04pm on feed 1... They're all so anti-Shelly at this point, they're literally talking on top of each other, trying to get all the stories out.

Flipping minute through minute all the way til 8:17, they never so much as take a moment to breath...

Until Adam shows up...

Then they take a break to compliment him on his continued weight loss... and start in on him again about wanting to nair him. Kalia heads inside, and all the others remain. And get right back to it, in front of Adam...

Jordan, Adam, Rachel, Porsche

Rachel: I'm sorry for that.

Porsche: Me too.

Rachel: I'm sure it was because of Brendon.

Porsche: Well.. I mean, I always liked Brendon too, but he was really close to her, and he wasn't believing us, and then I just heard I was the lap doggy...

Rachel: You heard what?

Porsche: I heard I was a lap dog, kind of thing.. Like I was ..

Rachel: To me, right?

Porsche: Yeah.

Rachel: That's what everyone told me too, and I was like, you guys are so stupid.. Like, she's my friend... and it was not fair, and I was like, great.. now Porsche's not gonna be my friend.. We shouldn't care what other people think. You know why people say that?

Porsche: Cuz they're like jealous of other people getting close..

Rachel: Exactly. Cuz they don't want people to be friends... and they're like, if you guys are best friend, then you guys are gonna team up and do this.. and I'm like, seriously? That's why I even told you the whole time, I was like, I don't care who you're friends with..

***errr.. bit of revisionist history there.

Shelly comes out to let them know their rice is ready. Rachel heads inside... Porsche too. Adam and Jordan remain.. and the Shelly conversation continues... Referring back to Thursday night...

Adam: I don't think I've ever seen you stick up for yourself like that.

Jordan: Well, I did with Russell... but I think I was madder this time.

Adam: Well, cuz this time it hurt more on a personal level.

Jordan: Right.

Adam: It had nothing to do with the game. You did something nice for her on a personal level...

Jordan: She kept tellin' me like, Keep me here and you know I'm with you, I'll take you to final 2... You know, all that stuff.

Adam: Right.

Jordan: And I'm like, if you were so quick to backstab Jeff, why wouldn't you do it to me? And she's like, I didn't backstab you, I backstabbed Jeff. And I'm like, backstabbing Jeff is like backstabbing me, cuz we work together..

Adam: Right.. That's what I was saying when she was trying to keep Dani. I was like, I'd rather go head to head..

Jordan tells Adam that Shelly is now in the process of trying to get her & Rachel and Kalia & Porsche to believe she's a 3rd with both pairs..

Adam: All I can say is look at track record.

Jordan: Yeah, I know. It's weird, Kalia and Porsche are talkin' about the 4 of us workin' together, so I guess they're thinking about getting rid of you, but as long as me or Rachel win HoH, you're good.

Adam's talking about his relationship with Fara, which sounds really nice and healthy, sharing stories with Jordan.

Kalia comes to join in the conversation... It's a good background on Adam if you'd like to take a peek on flashback. The conversation naturally flows... from relationships to weight gain (Kalia) to working out, to reception outside the house.. to how much Jordan's impression of Rachel has changed since she walked in the house.

Adam: Last year I was rooting for Rachel.. The year before I was rooting for Ronnie.. And people are like, Why're you rooting for them. I dunno.. I just like em.

Jordan: My.. perspective.. of Rachel walking in this house? Is definitely gonna change when I walk out of this house.

Kalia: mm

Jordan: Because when I walked in this house, and when I saw her, I was just like, it's Rachel.. I think everybody thought the same thing..

Adam: Loud crazy girl..

Jordan: But everybody's kinda mellow around here, and she seems like she's, you know, mellowing out.

Kalia: She's definitely different from even a few weeks ago.

Jordan: For sure.

All agree, Rachel 2.0 - solo Rachel - is much preferable to 1/2 of Brenchel.

Rachel & Jordan are talking about how Jeff never had a chance to campaign for himself, but on the bright side, he and Brendon are probably having the best Bromance ever. Shelly walks in right on cue. Jordan leaves..

Shelly: And you need to let them continue their bromance with Adam.

Rachel: hehehe

Shelly: They don't want a chick to go hang with the boys. They want Adam.

Rachel: Hey Kruddy.. Let's play pool.

Shelly: Yes!! So they all 3 can have their bromance, and you guys can use me. (whiny) I don't wanna sit in that jury house.

Rachel: Adam just said the other day that he missed Jeff.

Shelly; See, now you don't want him to miss his boy.

Rachel: The question of the season is, who had the better bromance? Jeff and Brendon or Adam and Jeff?

Shelly: Probably Jeff and Brendon.

Rachel: They did wear the same clothes...

Shelly: Regardless, they don't want any more chicks there. They want boys. They want to play.

Rachel: hahaha

Shelly: (tries the jealousy angle) I'd have to go in there and rub their backs. You guys don't want that. Don't worry about that...

Rachel: hahaha! That makes a good point.. Have to keep my eye on you.

Shelly: My husband does not want me in that house with those boys.

Adam: Doubt it. Who's that? Oh Adam? Put the elf suit back on.. You were funnier then.. Reality check, Adam. You weren't even funny then. Ahh.. 3 weeks left.. Less than 3 weeks left.. Whoda thunk it? Rachel: Oh my God.. I just had the most brilliant idea in the whole world. The most brilliant idea ever.

Jordan: What? Talk fast...

Rachel: Listen to this! Operation Sleepover Party. We get Kalia and Porsche to be our best friends in the whole entire world. You work on Kalia. I work on Porsche. We bake cookies with them, paint our nails, whatever they want us to do.. They think the final 4 deal with them is all good.. blablabla.. and just to cover our butts for next week, and everything like that.

Jordan: Yeah.. I think we've been doing that...

Rachel: Oh, totally.

Jordan: You helped her bake.. and I sat out here with Kalia and talked to her, so I think that's good.

Rachel: Alright, cheers! Operation Sleep Over Party.

Jordan: Good job.

Rachel: The 1st task of Jochel. I kind of like that name. (**I prefer my RaJo - It's much more twitter friendly)

Jordan: JoChel. You're so energetic!

Rachel: Oh my gosh.

Jordan: I hope people are rootin' for us.. You'd think they would.. 2 veterans left.

Rachel: Never know.

Jordan: That would be so awkward if we left and people were like, (gruff) "I hate y'all"

Kalia comes outside..

Porsche & Adam

Jordan's already sleeping. Rachel's on her way. Kalia and Shelly are off camera but awake.

Porsche's telling Adam how hard she and Kalia are working to get Rachel and Jordan to keep him... Porsche says they're also trying to create mistrust between Rachel and Jordan. Porsche hits a nerve when she says they're using his only win being a thrown veto...

Adam: For the record, the only thing thrown about that Veto was I made Dani tell Jeff he was safe.

Porsche moves right along, not agreeing to ego stroke. They also touch on the possibility of Shelly being America's Player, which is just a bit of week 8 BB paranoia... If you'd like to tune in for the entire conversation, please pick a feed, any feed at 12:20am. ;)

The feeds went to the BRB screen at 8:39am. As of 9am, we have 2 live bodies: Adam & Shelly... and 4 sleeping beauties: Kalia, Jordan, Porsche and Rachel.

Adam and Shelly, as co-noms, will not be talking any game. They're currently talking about sporting events, so... Adam finishes his cigarette at 9:09am, and tells Shelly he's going back to bed, complaining BB woke them too early. Shelly tends to folding laundry in the backyard, while Adam crawls back into bed in the Candy Room, joining the lumps otherwise known as Rachel and Jordan.. I'll be saving my fingers for the arrival of some HGs into consciousness.
