Last night, Dan was the man with the plan. The live feeds were phenomenal! In possibly the best move in BB history, Dan staged his own BB funeral for the house, then went up to the HoH with Frank to have a talk about his resurrection.

We believe they successfully brought Jenn on board, and if all goes according to plan, Ian will not use his PoV, Jenn will use her PoV on Dan, and Frank will replace Dan with Britney.

I like to think Ian and Brit won't take it personally, because it's not personal! It's a game and they're all in it to win it. Otherwise why show up. I know Brit has no illusions that Dan is playing for her.

I have a question about Ian's Veto, since I haven't watched last nights episode yet. Are we sure that Ian has to go first in the Veto meeting, or is that just speculation?
On another note, I'm glad that Dan has managed to save himself this week, but at the same time, I'm really sad for Britney and Ian. More so for Ian, as I'm worried how he will handle all this mentally.....

I understand we are going to be in for some of the same. Everyone here is stocking up on supplies and getting generators working. I am in Alexandria, La., right in the middle of the state, and after Katrina and Rita hit here we sure don't need another one.
I work at a wholesale plant nursery and when Rita hit everyone in this little town lost power for over 3 weeks because the power lines were snapped just like toothpicks and everything had to be watered via generators or we would have lost everything. As it was, many of the nurseries here lost 100's of greenhouses and most of their plants. It was bad. Don't want to see another one.

Well, I didn't even know if I wanted to post earlier today but I seem to have psychoanalyzed myself and figured out why it is bothering me.
Logic-Dan made a good game move and I shouldn't hold that against him.
We felt grandma needed to be somewhere safe with 24 hour supervision.
Emotion-I wanted friendship to take precedence over the game.
Grandma deserves to be where she is happy and has a quality of life, not somewhere that can offer safety but nothing else.
Never in all my years of writing my opinions on this site did I think that this would become my therapy. Thank you all for listening and for allowing me to have an opinion even if it differed from a lot of yours.

At the season start I hated Frank - not sure why. The more I watch/read his gameplay, I become a bigger fan. He really does play an honest game and that is rare (and almost impossible to win that way). As much as I love a good "screw over" I hope Dan sticks to his word and works with Frank.

Hello Carolyn, and everyone! What an exciting game move! I love Brit and do not want her to go, but Dan is my other favorite and I don't want him to go either. I'm hoping Jenn uses the veto and takes Dan down, but I'm equally hopeful that Brit gets the votes to stay against Dani. That girl has got to go. Shingles and Xanax...REALLY? Are we sure she's a nurse?
I don't want Britney to go home. I think that if she goes on the block Joe, Ian and Shane should vote to keep Britney. I think the other HG will figure out that Dan Frank Jenn and Dani have a deal. At least I hope they do. Please BB save Britney!!!!!!
Thank you all so very, very much! Even though I'm a feed watcher, there is much I miss (especially when they're UBER whispering ) and without those who do such a great job transcribing in the LFUs, I wouldn't have all the pieces of conversations to decide who is doing what in that house.
I have transcribed before, and I've learned two things: it's super hard and I'm not great at it, which is why I don't do it very often. I did do it yesterday, when all of the Dan drama was starting, cause I could see it was about to be a game changer and did not want anyone to miss anything important. On that note, I thank those of you--all of you--who have the skill and patience to do it.
Now my take on the game;
Boogie had a very bad read all summer. Frank knew Dan was dangerous, Boogie kept him, Frank asked about Ian twice, Boogie wouldn't hear or it,
Frank has the physicality to win comps, but not the finesse to manipulate other than brow beating directly, wearing ppl down, vote for me, vote for me, vote for me.
Dan is the absolute Master at manipulating and a stone cold killer in BB. STONE COLD. He came to win. He never forgets that.
He said in that room, call me a traitor, but I'm not a quitter.
Why SHOULD he forfeit a half a million dollars if there is some way to win it.? He didn't come to make friends, he came to make money. It's not a social club. a summer vacation or a camp. He came to coach and to win, he's been coaching... and he just might win. I'd sure vote for him at F2 if he gets there after last night's performance.
(btw Danielle knew he was mad at her for the POV thing, cuz she talked about it, so her "not knowing" now is more Danielle sympathy BS. HE has told her many times to focus on the end game, not the players. She should do that)
And so, after 2 conversations with Frank, 2 conversations with Dan, and one long conversation with Danielle, Jenn is now committed to using her POV on Dan and Brit will go up as the replacement nominee. There is still time for her to change her mind, but I think Jenn's relationship with Danielle and her complete trust in her () is what really sealed the deal for Jenn.
Having watched this ALL NIGHT (and yes, it's 2 in the afternoon my time and I'm still awake), all I can say is that I am simply amazed by the brilliance that is Dan. I'm convinced Dan has been working on this plan since the night Frank won HOH, and was able to put the pieces of said plan together after the POV was played and while locked in solitary confinement.
Joe's not going up (as much as I want him gone). Dan has figured out that Joe is the Jerry of his season, aka the F3 goat, and Frank knows that although Joe isn't to be trusted, he really is an island alone.
We've heard that Ian has to use his veto first--from Frank (via Ian), from Ian himself, and what was insinuated on the show last night. Whether that is the case, or whether TPTB decide to change it up at the last minute, or it contains a power of some sort that we're not aware of (although last night's show didn't give us any indication that it did), remains to be seen.
Dan, in his talks with Frank--particularly around 1:30 am BBT, were very telling about Brit. He has admitted that she's very good, but she is also transparent. I still believe he'd rather Ian be the one to go first, but since that's not an option, Brit has to be sacrificed.
I just think Brit will have a hard time turning Shane. She will have Ian, and could possibly get Joe if she figures out exactly what the hell happened (and Joe has an inkling that Dan & Frank made a deal, but the Joe/Ian dislike is mutual), but she will have a hard time working over Shane. Her best bet may be to expose that she, like Shane, has a F2 deal with Danielle, and convince Shane (and others) that Danielle has F2 deals with multiple people. This isn't a lie--as of right now, Danielle as a F2 deal with:
Dan
Brit
Shane
Jenn
It's a hard sell, though, because she and Shane don't necessarily have the best relationship, and if he votes out Brit, he knows Dan will come after him.
Two things about Ian. Its not about getting Brit out as much as it is saving Dan. If Ian is allowed to use his POV on Brit, they can put up Joe.
Two I dont get the kid gloves for Ian. Until he or his family confirm he has a medical condition, I will continue to believe he is just a socially awkward kid with some nervous ticks. From what I've seen, he is as capable of enduring BB hardship as anyone else... Except for Dan that is
I do think Brit will fight--after laying down and dying in her season, I think she'll give it all she has. She's already suspicious, and knows something isn't right. If she figures it out, I think she may go down fighting, but we'll have to wait and see.
The bottom line is this: Ian could have made the same move to Frank by offering him both information and protection (we have the QP, I'll take Dan off, make sure Jenn doesn't use her POV, and the 5 of us can protect you for the next two weeks). Ian, fearing that Brit would go up regardless, didn't, and allowed his cockiness that he wouldn't be exposed as the rat or the snake or whatever you want to call it to get the best of him.
Dan, on the other hand, did exactly that after rehearsing and scheming during his solitary confinement. He outed the QP, offered Frank protection for 2 weeks, and somehow, with help, convinced Jenn to use the POV on him. In return, he sacrifices Brit, since he can't attack Ian directly, blows up the QP and leaves Ian on an island alone. Sheer brilliance if you ask me.
I'm sad that Brit will be the one leaving, as I do enjoy her entertainment, her snark, and just because I relate to her in many ways. And I'm positive that unless the DR steps in in some way, no one other than Ian will vote to keep Brit--maybe Joe, but it's doubtful. Jenn and Dan will both vote to keep Danielle, and Shane will also keep Danielle over Brit because he has a F2 deal with her. 3 votes is all it takes this week, so there you go.
That said, Brit's game (particularly since Frank won this last HOH) has been a dangerous one, not unlike Ian's, and she has been found out. As we've seen with so many before them, playing both sides only gets you so far in this game, and once exposed, it's only a matter of time. Ian would have been ideal for Dan, but evicting Brit cuts Ian off completely, which is just as detrimental. Brit has been the glue that holds her many alliance's together (Brit and Ian, The all girl alliance, the QP, and too many others to name that have been eliminated when Brit smiled at their faces and stabbed them in the back i.e. Janelle...)
To all my fellow Dan fans--the guy is GOOD. I never appreciated his game in Season 10, largely because I didn't have the feeds. Seeing the man in action is a sight to behold. Really, it leaves me speechless.
To all my fellow Frank fans --rejoice! He may not make it to the end, (I sure hope he does) but he's bought himself at least another week or two.
To all my fellow Ian fans--I'm sorry he will be exposed. But, like Brit, playing both sides and getting cocky and arrogant only comes back to bite you in the end. I know that many have a soft spot for Ian, because he "might" have a mild case of Asberger's, but you also have to take into account how devious he has been, as well as all the psych testing that BB puts people through before they put you in the house. In their eyes Ian is capable of handling the pressure cooker of a house to play this game.

Hey everyone! What is Ian's mental/emotional disability? Today is the first I am really reading about this. I know that he is a bit socially awkward, but I didn't know there was a handicap. Regardless, I think he is a great kid and hate to see him upset, but in the grand scheme of the game, I am excited about this potential move in the game.

Isn't Ian 21? He's old enough to drink, gamble, vote, and do anything else that is legal. Why does everyone call him a kid and think he needs to be handled with such care? He's not the first person to cry on bb, not the first person to get nervous on bb.

I'm not completely convinced that Dan has the votes. Ian and Joe are really POed and Shane is keeping Brit.
this is crazy! I got the three day trial just for this. I'm just so excited!
Ian made a couple of very crucial mistakes that could / might / will cost him his BB life. First, Ian did not want to nom. Frank when Ian won HOH during the D. Eviction. He said in the DR. that he wanted to throw it, but mistakenly won. THEN (his BIG mistake) was to listen to Brit and the others and nom Frank right up- front. Frank (naturally) wins the POV. Duh! Dan was made aware that Ian would NOT be loyal to him when Ian refused to use the special golden POV on him. I get that, but Ian had to know that Dan showed INCREDIBLE loyalty to Ian for taking ALL the heat from Boogie and Mike when Boogie and Mike were nomed and on the block. Dan never wavered, he never ratted Ian out, but Dan was pissed at Ian for not using the special POV because Ian showed more loyalty to Brit at that point. Ian did not want Brit to go up as a replacement!
I saw several reasons to believe that Ian is not as brilliant and scheming as I was giving him credit for. He buckles under pressure from the other HG's. Even though Ian knows how this game goes down, he still made choices that were actually not in his best interest.
It is hard to root for 2 people who undoubtedly do not want to be in F-2 together. But if Ian goes home, I believe it will be because of Ian's own crucial mistakes in this game. Now Ian must be able to pull a rabbit out of his hat, too in the next week or so, or he will be next to go. It will be interesting to see if Ian is really as "brilliant" as the fans are saying he is. I no longer believe he is playing as good a game or is "evil" as he says he is. He will have to prove that to me. There is a HUGE differance between being evil on a website (Ian has talked about how he likes to "Troll" websites and start arguments) and being evil in a BB house...
ahhhh man. This is crazy. I'm shocked at how well Britney is taking this. I understand Danielle has to play this role, but i seriously have to change the feed when she starts crying. This is too much.

Britney is telling Danielle that she (Brit) is going home this week. Danielle is trying to look shocked. Ian was "screaming" in the HOH with Frank. Frank told him to get out and Ian stomps downstairs. Brit goes up to Ian and tells him that it's ok. Ian says no it's not. Brit goes into the arcade room and is talking to Dan and asking Dan what is going on. He pleads ignorance and says all he has is a vote. Brit says she is not asking for his vote. She tells him that it's important to her how people treat others in the house. Now Brit heads upstairs.
Shane (who apparently was in the HOH room too) comes downstairs and tells Ian that Shane only came up there to check on Ian. Ian says that's ok and walks away. Shane puts his head on the breakfast bar and says oh this game.
Shane and Joe are trying to figure out a "rat" remark that was made during the POV ceremony.
Ian says that's that. Any allegiance he had with him (?) is gone now. Ian says he (?) has pissed his game away and has everyone mad at him.
Danielle is there trying to act like she knows nothing that is going on.
Joe says he tried to tell everyone this was going on yesterday. Joe says the only thing he had wrong was that he thought Ian was with Frank.
Shane says that they all have Ian's back. Shane asks the DR for a Xanax for Danielle so she can calm down. (do they think that stuff is candy?!!) Shane is trying to comfort the fake nervous breakdown of Danielle.
For the record, I'm feeling bad for Britney right now. She almost has me in tears at the moment.
I'm still giddy for Dan pulling this off and getting himself off the block.
Really giddy.
But, I do have a heart, and Britney has definitely grown on me by leaps and bounds over her original season.
UGH!!!! Why do I have to go to work now :(

Wow, how this game changes and how it changes ME. I was really pulling for Dan (I still am) but I was REALLY hoping Ian would go far and now-not so much. I think he has become a bit too sure of himself and I think this will hurt him. I do love Brit, but unfortunately, I love Dan more. Frank was my least favorite, but after Boogie's departure, I was waiting to see Frank's behavior and I am pleasantly surprised. I hope he and Dan can work together (temporarily). I would still like Brit to stay and Dani leave. It's nothing personal (as they all say) but I just like Brit more. One of them said that at least everyone got to have it out with him (not sure, maybe Dan but could be Frank). Joe walks back in and assures Danielle that they have the votes. Something Shane just said something that made Danielle (fake) realize that she is not the target. She pleads for a Xanax. (again, it's not candy peeps).

Joe again says that he doesn't trust Ian but does trust Shane and only Shane. Shane says that Dan was going home this week and Joe says he pulled it off, Dan really pulled it off. Shane says he needs to go check on Ian. Joe says he is going to try and find something out from the powers that be.

Caroline, I just had to put my two cents in, since everyone seems to be soooo team Dan.
While I agree it is HUGE gameplay on Dan's part, I am sooo mad it is at Brit's expense. My only hope is that Shane and Joe wake up and smell the coffee. Or stop drinking the Kool Aid, or whatever. From a game perspective, they are both just sitting ducks if they don't vote Danielle out this week. Majority rules, and they will definitely be in the minority after this week.
On a more positive note, it was pretty awesome to watch it all go down last nite, even if I'm not happy with the result. Thanks for all you do. So glad you are safe from Isaac.

I read your commentary on Dan. I just wanted to say something. Every person stepped into that house with one goal, to be the BB14 winner and walk away with 500K. I would love to see integrity in the game as well, but I love it even more when the players play the game. Let’s face it, the mob mentality, and calling it quits before Julie announces the, “By a vote of _ to _ you have been evicted from the Big Brother House.” is quite boring. It is much better for my nerves and blood pressure, but totally boring to watch.
The BB house is a pressure cooker, and in the these conditions you see the best and the worst in the HG. Mostly the worst. I was soooo disappointed in the Mike handled going on the block. I feel a little less reaction and a lot more strategy would have gone a long way.
I am glad Dan put the spark back in the game. Honestly seeing Shane and Frank steamroll everyone was getting a little redundant. I love seeing Jenn take a stand. With that being said, I think if her or Frank would have taken a step back and looked at the situation they would have realized, they are being played. Maybe they do, but they feel it is the only way to get the numbers on their side. I heard Jenn call it a few times.
I am sorry for babbling…my point is, it is a game. Try not to get stressed out about. Enjoy the ride and leave the anxiety to the HG. It is much more fun that way. In a way enjoy the highs and lows. Without the lows there aren’t any highs.
I hope you are feeling better soon and back to just enjoying the crazy BB world.
PS – I really wanted to see Britney in the F3. I wanted to see what she was made of. I totally LOVE her this season.

Honestly, it doesn't matter to me who goes Thursday, Dani or Brit. I know Dan wants to keep Danielle as part of his new alliance with Frank and Jenn, but I couldn't care less.
Well, I take that back. I like Britney better than Danielle, so I would prefer to see Dani go. But, then that leaves Britney in the house who will be out for blood and will be vicious in the HoH comp, regardless of what kind of comp it is. It also keeps Ian and Brit and Shane together. Which could jeopardize Dan.

Dan and Dani are trying to come up with a name for their F2. Dan likes the surgeons because he cuts them up and Dani sews them up.
Dan says that he's going to go to bed.

Things have calmed down a bit in the house.
the ULTIMATE 'cherry on my BB sundae' of this day.... for me... would be Britney finding out that Danielle is in there fake crying/hugging with her and she knew this was about to happen. I remember some people saying before Boogie left that the house would be boring the rest of the season.
How wrong. So wrong. It's been non-stop excitement!
I always shake my head when people say that.
When it gets down to just the people in the house who will be the 7 jury, and the 2 finalists, is when the game really picks up hard and fast.
I love the very beginning of the game when the house is fully staffed with HG's and they are still in the 'getting to know each other' phase, and I love it when it gets down to the final 10 and 9.
That's when it gets real. Anything can happen at any time. Alliances fall apart, new ones are made, people scramble........

This is so off the dish and big brother, but I have to get this off my chest, this morning when I went to work, gas was 347.99, this afternoon when I came home it was 369.99. There were TVA trucks lined up along with AT&T trucks getting ready to head to the Mississippi gulf coast and other parts. So, not only are they making a profit with a disaster, they are making it harder to buy freaking groceries. Love the oil companies!

Regarding your first comment. I totally get where you are coming from. I'm a big fan of Father Dan but after watching the show last night I will admit I was so let down by some of his actions. I was also beside myself because I've just had it up to my eyebrows with Frank and the way he bullies Ian. (Not to mention the overuse of the "Mother" word). I was also very proud of Brit and the way she stood up for Ian during one of Frank's verbal beatdowns but at the same time was VERY pissed because not one of the men yelled at Frank to knock it off. (I mean, Joe spoke up when Boogie and Frank were doing it to Dan last week).
It's one of the things that make this game interesting I suppose. It allows us to watch the social experiment of the people in the house while at the same time makes us look at how we are and how we view things. But I wanted you to know there is someone who understands where you are coming from so you don't feel in the minority here. OMG, did I really just write a comment long enough to rival one of yours? lol ;)
Lastly- I have a feeling Brit may pull some magic of her own the next few days. Or not. Time will tell!

I remember seeing people on Twitter saying if the Coaches came into the game this entire season would suck.

Season 10 is my all time personal favorite season, but I think this season is giving all others a run for their money.
I don't know about anyone else, but this season has been stellar in my eyes!!!!
Starting at the very beginning with the Coaches coming in, the Willie expulsion, the almost-blind-side against Frank, the re-set and the Coaches entering the game, the blind-side/backdoor of Janelle (whom I adore and was pouty about leaving the way she did), the eviction of Mike Boogie, Shane and Frank being comp beasts, Dan and his Funeral and Resurrection, and so many other little things in between all of this and woven in so beautifully.....I could go on and on.
All in all, I am loving this season!!!!!!!!!
This is also so way off BBDish, my brother-in-law works with FEMA and is a fire fighter has been deployed and so has my husband, well by Wednesday. Gaytor and Danny you can still ride the train north until tomorrow morning, I will pick you guys up where ever you decide to ride too. you have my email just let me know
Go back and look on the feeds - right before Brit talks to Frank and he confirms that she is his target she is in the game room with Dan and she asks him calmly if she is the target and he refuses to answer her. He's super cold to her. It was amazing to watch and I felt so sad for Britney at that point. She asks him multiple times, even saying "don't you think you owe me that much, to just tell me?" And all he says is "I'm not the HOH go ask him". As impressed as I am with Dan and his gaming ability, I didn't see the harm in him telling her - it would have been respectful. Brit remarks in that later conversation with Frank that when she casts her vote she will consider who treated her with respect. Hmm.
I think frank made good game move by keeping Dan..no one is gonna give him another half million

Sorry brit lovers (and I love her too...this season) but boy was she coldly working dani against dan in HOH last nite...demanding to know everything dan (ficticiously) said to her to explain his "dead to me" comment and pouncing on everything to show her how selfish dan is...when brits scheming she gnaws at her cuticles something fierce, huh?
Well she was the one to strike first going to frank...but dan is just soooo much better at this...was he supposed to just say "o well...I'm on the block...i'll just go home"?? This. Is. A. Game. For mullah. I don't agree w being shitty (boogie and frank) and attacking on a personal level....but strategic lying and backstabbing is a must. It can't be played without it.
Can't wait to see how this all plays out!! This could be the best season yet...and I did gripe about the returning players in the beginning! I fully admit it! I was so wrong!

As I'm watching them in the backyard I wonder what Dani is thinking.
Brit has talked to Dan and told him she understands why he did what he did, but didn't like it.
Shane on the other hand is not willing to trust Dan no matter what. He has been talking about loyalty. I wonder what Dani is hearing. Because I'm not sure that Shane will be thrilled to find out she was working with Dan through this.
Might be why Shane does feel the connection with her because he senses they have different values.
I am so HAPPY! No one deserves to go on the block moreso than Britney in my opinion. (dont worry im not a fan of Danielle or Jenn or Joe either) But Im sick and tired of how she instigates and badmouths EVERYONE then swears she never says anything about anyone. She has no true loyalty to any of the houseguests and will turn on you the moment you leave the HOH room. Im actually becoming a bit confused as to whether or not she even knows what shes doing....ie the whole im so sad Janelle is gone when she was the one that instigated the entire thing and then recruited Boogie to help her convince Danielle. You reap what you sow...so while I loved that she taunted Boogie in her goodbye message to him I couldnt help but feel she has something of a split personality.
I cant stand people that appear to be genuinely two faced and refuse to be accountable for their own actions. She thinks too much of herself as a sweet smelling rose in this game.....hiding behind too many other people. Im sure theres a lot of leftover dislike from HER season still coursing thru my mind but I for one will be happy to see her walk out the door on Thurs regardless of her entertainment value which doesnt impress me much.
