While the hoi palloi are downstairs by the pool, Elissa and Helen are drawing a bath upstairs in HoH while Judd naps.. And Helen is trying to sell Elissa on the notion of getting rid of Kaitlin this week, instead of Aaryn. Let's join their game talk..
Helen: My worry is what if Kaitlin is working with Howard.. Kaitlin told me today.. She's with us.. both sides.. You should ask her, what has Howard said to you guys?
Elissa: I'm gonna go talk to her.
Helen: But do it when Howard's not around. I think he's lying to Candice. Judd is totally on our side, but I heard that Howard and Spencer made a F4 with Judd and Andy.. and I heard they made a F4 with Amanda and McCrae. If we took Howard out, that would leave Spencer alone, and Candice alone, and bring them over to us. In a competition, Spencer's never gonna beat you or me.
Elissa: They just want Candice and Jessie's votes, and they're willing to take us out. I told Howardd, it was such a stupid move to put me up.. I feel like a bold move would be to put Amanda up.
Helen: I think the MVP is Kaitlin.. and I think Ginamarie is because that's the only other person she has a chance against.
Helen: Kaitlin is a nice girl.
Elissa: She told me she had an abortion right before she came on the show.
**whether this is true or not, i am not impressed with Elissa in this moment.
Helen: That's not something America needs to know. Everyone's always gonna want to take Aaryn out, no matter what she does. Next week, you only need 4 votes to stay in the house.. It scares me.

Helen and Elissa come out into the HoH room and chat a bit with Judd and Ginamarie.. They assire her she's not going to go home.
Elissa: Who do you think has is?
Ginamarie: I don't know.
Helen: I don't think it's America anymore. They wouldn't have put you up. They'd love you.
Elissa: They'd put me up though?
Helen: Well, then could be tired of you getting it all the time.
Elissa: What do you think, Judd?
Helen: About the twist.
Elissa: We don't know that there is a twist.
Judd: Yeah, she just said "expect the unexpected," not that there was a twist.
Helen: We'll find out on Thursday night.
Judd: mm hmm. I don't know.
Ginamarie: I wish I coulda played MVP, won some money, go home happy.
*headdesk
2:46 Camera 1 - Elissa and Helen leave HoH.. and they sandwich Kaitlin on the double chaise.. asking her what Howard's been telling her.. assuring her Aaryn's going home..
Kaitlin assures them that they are not her targets, if she stays..and that Howard confessed to her that he's been throwing comps...
Helen: We have to make him feel like he's safe so he doesn't try for HoH.
**Odds on, it's endurance, so Howard's not really a big contender this week.
Kaitlin: Howard still does not talk good things about Candice. She's just a number to him, but she's all over him. (paraphrasing)

Amanda: I gotta say, I did not see that coming at all. I wanna take a nap. Do you wanna take a nap?
Judd: I just took one.

Kaitlin: Basically, they told me that they think Candice wou;d vote with Howard, and Howard's a threat.
Aaryn: Who do you think;'s gonna go home?
Kaitlin: I have no clue. Not Ginamarie.
Aaryn: Why?
Kaitlin: They just told me she's super safe.
Aaryn; So basically they said I'm going home.
Kaitlin: No, I didn't say that. They just want me to campaign.. or that's there way of telling me I'm the target. I don't know.
Aaryn: If Elissa said that GM is safe, then obviously, I know who they're goin g after, because you have a deal with them.
Kaitlin: My deal with them was that they would keep me safe the next week, and obviously that's not there.
Aaryn: Keeping you safe doesn't mean never going on the block.
Kaitlin steps into the shower..
Aaryn: I haven't talked game to anyone about this eviction. I was gonna wait to see who the 3rd person was.. Let that die down a little and then maybe talk tomorrow..
Kaitlin: No matter what.. the next 3 weeks are gonna be us 3, boom boom boom.. Guarantee it.
Aaryn: I don't think so.

Aaryn: Kaitlin just told me that Helen and Elissa told Ginamarie she would be safe.
Judd: I was pretty surprised to see her go up. Weren't you?
Aaryn: I was shocked. I thought it was gonna be Howard.
Judd: I still think the MVP is Elissa.
Aaryn: What do you think is going to happen? Do you think I'm going home?
Judd: I don't think so.
Aaryn: Can you not tell me why? Can you tell me if I need to campaign.. I don't wanna go home. I feel like, with Ginamarie, all she does is mope around.. It's hard for me to swallow, if I were to go home and she were to stay. This has been a dream of mine. It's hard to see it possibly crumble.. even though I chose the wrong people.
Judd: Don't tell anybody.. Not Ginamarie, Not Kaitlin.. but I'm campaigning for you to stay.
Aaryn: People are using that twister thing against me now..
Judd: I thought it was funny.
Aaryn: It is funny, but..
Judd: I really put you up as a pawn. I really wasn't planning on either you or Kaitlin going home. I took Solitary Confinement.. I've talked to like 3 people, and they're not even considering voting you out. Jessie, you'r enot voting for her right?
Jessie: I was never going to..
Judd: Ok, that's 3..
Aaryn: If I stay here, and say you vote Kaitlin out, you don't have to tell people. You can say you voted me out. I'm kind of in the bottom of the barrel here. Anyone who's loyal to me, I will be loyal to them for the rest of the time.
Judd: You're really not.. After next week, you me, Jessie and 2 other people, and we'll be the majority. Just say yes to anything people try to set up with you.. otherwise, they'll vote you out.

Aaryn: I just worry about Candice, Helen, Elissa..
Judd: Helen's really wanting you to stay now..
Talk turns to Ginamarie's bizarre behavior and how it could walk her out the door..

Elissa and Helen are floating new ideas about who might be MVP.. Then we get to the crux of the matter..
Helen: Judd, do you presonally want Aaryn out or Kaitlin out?
Judd: I like Kaitlin.. But she's got one of those personalities where everyone likes her.. and she's a strong competitor.. Aaryn, she's go up every week, either as a pawn or a target, and eventually she'll go..
Helen: Have you talked to McCrae and Amanda? Will they vote her out?
Judd: I think so. How about you, Elissa?
Helen: ONe goes this week, one goes next week.
Elissa: My opinion is Aaryn, all say every day.
Jessie: Kaitlin has a much better chance of winning HoH though..
Helen: ELissa, everyone hates her. That's not the issue.
Elissa: She's just a liar. Like, I was so nice to her the other night. It makes me really upset, the derogatory things she says about Candice and Howard..
Jessie: But that's the reason Kaitlin is more of a snake in the grass.. She's working with everyone in the house now. She even came up to me.. and that shows me she's doing that with everybody. She's more friendly, and people don't know her game. Whereas, people know Aaryn's game... and she lost.
Judd: We can all predict what Aaryn's gonna do. We can't with Kaitlin.

Helen: Are you MVP, Spencer?
Spencer: I wish. To me, it seems reasonable that America voted. We don't know what they're seeing.. It's either funny Ginamarie, or batshit crazy Ginamarie.
Elissa: And you think America would not like me?
Spencer: Your nomination is the oddball.. For that, we've gotta solve for x.
Elissa: I think the people that support me outweigh.. Do you guys have something you're not telling me? Everyone's like, well, it's probably America that voted for you.

Since you are my go-to source for all things BB I have a question...
We were discussing in chat today about the Never Not Pass that Jeremy left for Kaitlin when he left...in previous seasons those kinds of things were able to be traded and/or given away as bargaining tools...do we know if it's still valid now that Jeremy is gone home?
If not Kaitlin could possibly have an ace in the hole to gain at least one vote from someone...only question is if she's smart enough to think of it...
I took a break. I come back and the first thing I hear is Elissa saying that whoever put Ginamarie up made a stupid move. It wasn't a good move. It wasn't a bold move.
Hi Elissa. Welcome to America. Now that we know you think we are stupid I hope no one gives you any more free rides through the game.
This is my first time posting so I should probably start by saying "thank you" for everything you post over the years.
Now for my comment....As a woman I am horrified that Elissa would show such poor taste. I have no idea if telling Helen about Kaitlin was game play or if she just chose to let the rest of the world in on something that was probably told in confidence. I'm absolutely disgusted and after years of hearing some pretty nasty things come out of the HG's mouths, this one ranks in the top 5.
That was a very very low move Elissa. If Kaitlyn told her, she was a dimwit.
wow that abortion comment is a new low for Elissa. Didn't like her to begin with and now that her true self is coming out since she is no longer getting her way, I'm counting down the days until her exit.
@Grendon -- I have to say that I agree with Elissa. It would be a waste of a week to vote GM out. She has no one in the house, she is easily swayed for votes and she is a bit of comic relief as well.
Keep in mind they are all still unsure of who was behing the 3rd nominee this week so any comments made about the nomination needs to be taken with a grain of salt.
I always have fantasies of what I want to happen. I want Candice and Howard in the final 3 or the final 5 and then I want her Renegaded or Brigaded. Perfect Renegade team to send her home-Howard and Aaryn. For the Brigade-just add Spencer and Kaitlin or GM. I wonder if Candice's head would explode.

Candice (talking to Elissa and Helen) just said sometimes people that are quick to listen and slow to talk are the smartest people. Well that leaves her and Helen out of the smart category because they never shut up. I guess Elissa is slow to talk, but that's because every time she starts to speak she forgets how to pronounce the words.
Don't these girls realize that every time they try to insult someone they are really holding a mirror up and showing their own flaws?
Elissa is not my favorite but as soon as she voices an opinion everyone is all over her. She can't catch a break...I just hope Judd the stud wins the whole game.

I am absolutely appalled that Elissa brought up the abortion story about Kaitlin today as a means to impeach her character whether it is true or not idk. I do not like Kaitlin's comportment in this game one bit but Elissa stepped over the line and I'm glad Helen redirected her. This is not America's business. Thank you Helen! After the last 2 days of her comments and behavior I'm so done with Elissa now oh ye of sketchy past yourself.
Sigh. Anyone else think it ridiculous that a houseguest... any houseguest... on the block asks if he or she needs to campaign? You're on the block! Nothing is certain in Big Brother. Of course you need to campaign! :-)

How it all changes so fast. I wasn't right about Amanda going up but I might be right when I said Kaitlin is the most dangerous of the three women on the block. Sort of surprised they are figuring it out.
By Thursday, knowing GM, she might annoy herself out of the house.
Did anyone see Howard or Spencer approach Kaitlin? I didn't see it in any of your posts.
I remember hearing Howard and Spencer saying they would pick up whichever two women were left when everyone figured this week would go how it's now going. They were going to wait though.
I'm finally up to speed on what's been happening since last Thursday. I need to watch a bunch of FB but that will come. I have time now.
I heard the comment that Elissa relayed about Kaitlin. I thought it was pretty disgusting too. I originally thought she was an airhead. The night Aaryn apologized to her in the bathroom when they were alone I knew Elissa knew exactly what she was doing and I knew she had a mean streak. She looked exactly like Rachel looked in the kitchen on Dani Donato's birthday. Evil. I am guessing there was a lot that went on in the house before the feeds went live.

I didn't mean that GM should be voted out. I was referring to Elissa talking about the MVP being stupid for nominating her and then GM. I'm guessing GM was the MVP's 3rd or 4th choice anyways.

Long time blog reader but my first time commenting...thank you for all that you do to make my BB experience so much more than it would be without you. You are invaluable :)
I just have to say that it really bums me out that the whole Aaryn situation has taken a back seat to game play. Trust me, I get it...BB is a game and people are trying to win money...but what she has done and what she has said is intolerable. I get that she has the right to be as racist as she'd like, but I don't understand why it's tolerated and even used as reason to keep her because of the target it puts on her. Each day that she earns money for being in that house is a day too long.
I've liked Amanda, both as a person and as a player, from the beginning...but her willingness to work with Aaryn having full knowledge of who she is...is not something I can ever get behind. Not to mention that Aaryn is just a mean nasty girl who snaps at anyone who doesn't see things through her hate-tinted glasses.
I get that it's a game but at some point being a human being needs to trump everything else and I could never align myself with someone who caused that heartbreaking conversation between Howard and Candice.
Ok, jumping off my soapbox :)

I did see Spencer and Howard talking to Kaitlin a couple times. I think once was in the cockpit room. I couldn't tell you when it happened because there was so much non-stop scheming my head was spinning. They also pulled Elissa aside to make a 4 person alliance with them and Candice. Howard taught Spence how to use the bible to influence Elissa. There have been so many other alliances made in the past couple days I couldn't even tell you where to start.

Gotcha :) On another note, Elissa is making it hard to root for her as I have. That comment about Kaitlin today was completely uncalled for and I echo what other poster's have said, thank you Helen for shutting her down immediately. Less of an Elissa fan today than yesterday...
If I was in the game I would want to vote Kaitlin out, she is the most dangerous as far as competitions go. As a viewer I really want to see how Chenbot handles the Aaryn interview. :-)

So now Elissa is adament that she wants Aaryn out first because Aaryn affects HER game. Yet, last week, when they were all one big happy alliance that pledged undying trust and loyalty it was shady of Amanda to pushfor Howard to go up. Howard didn't just affect Amanda's game-he affected the whole alliance. Spencer, Howard and 'mouthpiece' Candice are the reason that the alliance has now imploded and split into a dozen different directions.
Good morning one and all. I was up shortly before feeds came back and GM was on da block. But this has been a day of trying to catch up on things I have put on back burners.
Now I'm ready for prime time tv for the evening. I have to be up very early (for me) to make an 10AM appt that DQTD made about a possible nove to a more reasonable apartment. Saving money every way we can preparing for the later Big Move!
Yay that GM is up. I'd love to see the actual vote counts for each HG to see what America. It makes sense that the three now up were the intended ones. The mindless followers of the Church of Brenchel screwed up with their auto voting to give Elissa MVP every week.
It's too bad she can't play her own game but after what I just read, I wouldn't mind seeing her go out behind Aaryn. Now that information is going to be all over the internet. No one deserves that.

Helen and Judd also want to align with Aaryn. Howard and Spencer have tried to align with any or all of the 3 girls on the block and today Candice talked to Aaryn about working with her and Howie.

I know that several people have talked to Aaryn, including Howard and Candice and I didn't mean to completely single out Amanda. But her conversation with Aaryn when she was in the bathtub the other night seemed to go beyond just trying to secure her vote...she seems to confide in her even so much to share that McCray doesn't trust Aaryn. And because Amanda has been the most vocal in her DRs and to Aaryn face about her racial slurs...I guess I'm holding her to a higher standard. Maybe that's unfair but I consider her more intelligent than most of the others.
For the record, I am not an Elissa/Helen fan either. Elissa has zero game and her attitude is elitist...I just enjoyed giving her my MVP votes because of how much it enraged Beiber Fever :) Especially when they thought they ruled the house.

Never liked Elissa ... she's just too annoying. And I don't understand why Rachel fans kept giving her MVP when Elissa hasn't done anything to prove herself as a real Big Brother player. We're four weeks in and she hasn't proven to be any type of interesting or smart player.
If the GT is smart, they'll get rid of Kaitlin. Kaitlin as it stands now is in position to be one of the final 4 ... she's solid enough with enough people that someone else will always get more votes than her unless Judd can get her out this week.
As the smartest player in the house, Amanda has one big flaw - she doesn't know when to turn off the game...funny considering she went on that rant considering Elissa the other night. The more you keep telling everyone you want someone out the house, the more annoying they start to get with you. Mention it before nominations -- if he's not nominated, mention it after someone wins veto -- if he's not the renom, cool it down until the next opportunity.

It's amazing how Helen and Howard can both in a week's time turn me off of them. Helen's power trip was of epic proportions. Howard continues to make questionable moves (probably b/c I'm a McCrae/Judd fan). I get it, I get it, he doesn't really have many other options. Andy seems like he would be annoying to me in the house in that he's always bopping around.

It's all starting to make sense. While I want Aaryn out immediately for her behavior and comments. Judd sees her as a potential final two. No one is going to give her $500,000. He hasn't said as much but I can feel the wheels turning.
While I want Aaryn out immediately for her racist comments and bad behavior, Judd can see a final two deal with her. No one would give her $500,000 if he has the right people in jury. His wheels are turning, albeit it on southern time.

Caro... can I suggest you erase Elissa's comment abouy the abortion from your blog. She may not have enough class to keep quiet, but you definitely have control over what you are and are not willing to print/publish. :-)
Carolyn, may I please suggest that you erase Elissa's abortion comment and all subsequent comments about it from your blog entirely? Elissa may not have enough class to keep something like that to herself, but we as bloggers do have ultimate editorial and publishing power over what we choose to pass along...I just think its something that everyone should decide not to print. You won't bother with GM's stupidity, so why bother with Elissa's on this? :-)
I'm getting confused by who's in what alliance and what all these groups are called and which ones are real and so on. Does anyone know of (or is able to make) a graphic or a chart explaining the alliances this season?
If they figured out that America voted, when in the world would America make a big move or a bold move? America's motivation is entirely different than a fellow houseguest. We aren't advancing our game, we are requesting better entertainment. Not entertaining, or just getting on our nerves? You are at risk.
Hi all, I am confused while I agree Elissa bringing up the abortion was wierd I dont know how she would have known that if Kaitlyn didnt already talk about it at some point. So I wouldnt put the blame of America finding out on Elissa. Why would Kaitlyn have talked about something so private to a complete stranger on television to begin with? I do agree if it is something Elissa made up thats beyond disgusting and almost unbelievable. Elissa comes across to me as pretty clueless and that information could have been weighing heavily on her mind especially being a mother perhaps she needed to get it off her chest to another mother who might also be bothered by it? I dont know. It was such a strange comment I can not figure it out :/

Hello all, thanks Carolyn for the site....... so is it just me but they all seem to be a little out there. they change their minds every hour and how many alliances are there? You put an alliance together and stick to it. I am enjoying the craziness though.
Grendon, Elissa was saying if it was anyone in the house that put GM up as the renom, it was a stupid move. I think if America would have had a choice in who to renom we would not have picked her. Putting GM up at this point is a stupid game move--America however did not get a choice in the matter since CBS decided to just go down the list of ppl America chose. IMO as an original nom it would have been a great choice but not as a replacement, there are much larger targets out there.
Esp. This season with so many blindsides...
Watching the game and actually playing the game are two completely different things. We on the outside have the adman rage of blogs and live feeds to keep track of everything going on on the house at all times. Those in the house do not have that advantage. So to us what seems like a big thing may not mean so much to the HGs.
Another thing to think of is when you are playing the game you should be focused on doing the best you can to get yourself to the end, and not necessarily be concerned so much with everyone else on the house.
It is the nature of a game like this where you sometimes have to use other people to advance your own agenda.
