Gaytor - You're right. None of us should have to see these hateful comments. I get enraged when I see/hear homophobic, racist, sexist, ageist comments. I know how much those comments can devastate and anger that's why I was extending my sympathies, because I can't go in there and rip him a new one (with words not violence).

I wasn't going to say anything about it because I feel it speaks for itself, but the more I think about it the more I feel that I must.
I made a comment last night about a "fag hag". When I said that that phrase is still used around my neck of the woods, I am referring to the phrase itself, not the use of the word by itself, or its alternate, the one Ollie used. It is wrong to use it on any level, and I agree with what Gaytor has said in the past, and many of you have said today in regards to it.
It is derogatory in every application. Every homosexual has enough inner turmoil to contend with throughout their lives, and hopefully most of us are able to find peace. Hearing these words used as weapons to unleash hatred of anyone is always a reminder to all of us that love is always conditional, acceptance is never guaranteed, and bigotry is an un-ending cancer.
The first step to curing cancer is to cut it out. I never use those words as weapons, but have on occasion used the "fag hag" in a loving way for some of my friends. But I will never do it again.
I was wrong, and hopefully can grow from it. I hope that no one was offended by my blatant use of it last night, regardless of how I may have intended it.
PrinceLover from the end of the last post... I've had conversations with LOGO about that word. LOGO is owned by CBS and LOGO tells me they follow the CBS guidelines on words worthy of censorship. There was much more discussion but that's the gist of this subject.

Oh, my point about censorship and CBS's list.... Or maybe the finger should be pointed at AGP... We certainly get enough fish when many other things are said. We know they are on a short time delay. Why doesn't the woman with the itchy trigger finger in the control booth hit it when things like that come out. I despise Ollie for using it, but AGP has to take some of the blame for letting us hear it.
Re: Ollie being a preacher's son and using that epithet, I could write a dissertation on some of the things said in black churches about homosexuals. But I won't because this isn't the place for it.

It's like watching a hurricane build. You not only watch the storm itself, but you watch the fronts around it to see if any will help it or hurt it as it is trying to build. That is about what is happening here. Who will be egging on the blow up, who will be trying to defuse the blow up? So will there be a hurricane April?

I would like to comment on Renny and what I believe to be really GOOD game play on her part. As much as I love this R/D/M/K crew here, we all knew it was implode gonna be busted sooner or later. Memphis n Dan are freakin out because they KNOW Renny is catching onto them. I'd wanna boot her if she was catching onto my game too.
Plus, we can't really call Renny paranoid about her thinking Memphis wants her out, since he has stated this to Dan. The original Final Five was R/D/K/M/M, but as of a day or 2 ago, it became O/D/K/M/M. Granted Renny did screw the pooch here, but I do believe that would have happened anyways since Ollie is such a piss poor competitor.
Renny is right to be freaked out about Memphis. She really should focus on Michelle right now, but she is completely valid in her wanting Memphis to be going sooner rather than later. The only person in the game, besides Ollie n Jerry, that would go after Renny IS Memphis.
And I just haveta say with Renny NOT putting Ollie up, yes, she did piss off her own crew, but she definitely gained favor with April, Ollie n Jerry. Ya gotta remember people, they are playing to stay in the game, but also for those precious Jury Votes. I believe she secured 1 or 2 with doing that move.

I am not sure how I feel about Ollie being censored. If I had an idea of how many young, still to be formed minds were watching I would write in to protest him even being allowed to stay in the house.
On the other hand, I know of too many instances where people get away with fostering a whole generation of hate because they know how to put on a public persona.
Ollie's comments were probably based as much on anger and ignorance as they were on hatred. But I still want him to be accountable.
The same way that the TV only audience sees an edited version with the houseguests becoming the characters BB has chose for them, if they censored the feeds it could change a lot. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to make a couple comments that they can't take back to realize who they are.
I would rather know the true character of people and be able to just walk away when I come into contact with them. If I get the edited or censored version, then they get off the hook. They keep there nice guy reputation and they never get called out for who they are.
It's beginning to look like A/O are utilizing the same strategy Michelle and jessie did....hide in the spa room, talk mean horrible things about everyone but themselves and sleep.

The BB cameras are really missing some golden opportunities. It would have been hilarious if one had gone to Renny's face when she was mouthing her breast size for the girls. Not that I want to know, but I'm sure there are some straight guys out there that would love it. I'd love it even more if it made it on the show edit.

Hello All. Think I am stirring a little bit and am a bit disturbed by Ollie's ignorant comments. People who make comments like that make them from stupidity. I have said it before and I can't say it enough....if people would just open their mind instead of their mouths they would learn to love instead of hate, IMHO.
Must say that the I have always found religous people to be the most judgemental and close minded, so Ollie's statements have not really surprised me. What does surprise me is his constant devotion to April and her delusions.

Ryan, My husband now wants a brindle...their beautiful! Sophie is now 6.5 months and she overdoses on energy on a daily basis. My mom has a 4yr old and they are the best of friends and she lives 5 min away, so they have many play-dates. We just took her to the beach Sunday for the first time and it's a no leash beach so its like a dog park with an ocean...the pictures are priceless!
For the past 30 min she has been squeaking her squeaky ball non-stop, so I must walk away from the computer and ware her out:)

I'm of the Jewish faith and have heard my fair share of nastiness and it is hurtful.
Just curious about if Ollie & April realize (probably not) what they are going to encounter when and if they do see each other outside of the house. If they are being nasty about everyone else and so critical they must realize there are people out there that will not look kindly on an interracial couple.
Personally if you can find love and happiness with someone regardless of their color, race, religion, sexual preference, etc. than my hats off to you. We need more love and peace in this world.

Genie, I guess maybe that's the difference between actually getting to have the feeds and being in a position of just reading about what's happening. LOL
I am not picking up on Renny's 'paranoia' from what I'm reading and what I've seen on BBAD...that could be because the powers that be only seem to want to show us April and Ollie whine and bitch for 3 hours every night and I've barely even seen Renny on BBAD since she has gotten HoH.
Anyway, perhaps she really is off her meds and paranoid and screwing up her game, but I'm still gonna go with Renny is playin' a good game, until I see otherwise. ;p

Sometimes I look at people's actions in the house (Renny), and think about whether they make sense based on what they know. A lot of it seems to be based on assumptions. But based on what WE know, Renny has actually been assuming things correctly. Memphis was pushing final 2 with Dan, Keesha and Michelle to the point that I wasn't sure he he was being honest with.
Renny doesn't have any reason to hate him the way she does. At least not from what I have seen. But she is right not to want him around because he is a definite threat to her game.
I think I am still hoping for Dan, Keesha and Renny as final 3. But this is the point in the game where the 'bus throwing' leaves no one unscathed. You can only take one person to the end and that means turning on the people who helped you get there.
I think Renny's biggest threat next HOH is Ollie, possibly Michelle. Dan's would be Ollie and Jerry. Keesha's would be Ollie. But I think Michelle is actually a bigger threat to Keesha than Ollie.
I would like to see Keesha win HOH and nominate Ollie and Michelle. Speeches:
Ollie-It's nothing personal, I think you are a great guy, I know you hold me responsible for April and it wouldn't make sense to leave my biggest threat in the house.
Michelle-tough competitor, yadayada
Then talk to Michelle in private and give her the same speech Michelle gave her. I want Ollie to leave, you're the only one who is liked by everyone, couldn't nominate Renny because she didn't nominate me, anyone else would be too much of a risk because they have enemies, etc.
Then she only needs 2 votes, Renny and Jerry and she breaks tie. Better yet, she gets Dan to vote out Michelle and it looks like it was out of her hands. Once Michelle's gone, everyone will realign yet again and one of the biggest threats to everyone is gone.
Now mind you, that is my view from a strategy level to give what I think is the best chance to my 3 favorites. On a personal level, of course I want Ollie, Michelle and Jerry out, preferably in that order.
