BB12: Early Afternoon with Gamers

It seems to be a lazy afternoon in the BB house, but we know better. They are just resting up until their next manic bout of game talk the live feeds that seems to last all day and all night. Carolyn, Lessa and I can attest to the fact, as well as all of you!
To recap:
- Rachel seems to have settled on Andrew as the renom. Only Brendon, Ragan and Kathy have been privy to her complete thinking.
- The HGs have been told that the PoV ceremony will be tomorrow, which gives them at least 24 hours for game talk, decision making and breaking, emotional upheavals and drama.

Snuggling. Some game talk. Some chatting. The showvorce has been deflected. Things seem to be on track with the two. More of Brendon talking about how important his relationship is to Rachel, more than the game.

Monet & Britney
They are being their usual charming, sweet selves... of course not. They are scoffing at people saying Rachel will be making her own decision. They both know she doesn't have a thought in her mind. The way they see it, Brendon will be making every decision. They think they have her completely fooled... We know, the are clueless.
They go on to talk to the cameras. Telling America that the yard is small, the house is small, the conditioner is scarce. Like I said, being their charming selves.. :)
Monet: It's a lot hurry up and wait.
Britney: Do we enjoy the other house guests.
Monet: No.
Britney: No, not really. I don't think I would talk to any of these people if I weren't trapped in the house with them.
The quote of the day... Britney: People are stomacable about 3 hours a day.... (**stomacable???)
Nearby, Kristen is lounging in the pool, looking fabulous. Not contributing to the discussion.
CUT TO:
Cabana Room
Rachel has joined the three Brigade members. There's silence for a hot minute and then the fascinating topic of the fish comes up. Brendon joins the group. Discussion continues on the superficial side. Brendon and Rachel cuddle, clearing out the Brigade members, except for Hayden who is fast asleep...
The house is falling into an afternoon laze.
Someone is playing pool off camera. Monet and Britney take turns dipping in the pool with Kathy.
Brendon, Rachel and Hayden are sleeping in the Cabana Room. Matt is in his bed off camera. Everyone else is off camera.
Ragan makes an appearance. Lounging in the shade away from the sun. Talk is casual and minimal. Kristen is sleeping in a lounger nearby.
The camera crew are extremely bored and are looking for something to catch... Here are some fun shots off the feeds.
Britney and Monet move to sit in the shade with Enzo after mumbling something mean about Kathy. Chit chat ensues. Enzo takes a quick moment to tell Britney that he wants Monet to stay. Lane is on the elliptical.
Then...
Britney: Kathy is acting weird.
Enzo agrees.
Britney: I think I;m the only one in the house who is safe.
Enzo: She told me I would be safe.
Britney: Who do you think would have gone if I had stayed (on the block).
Enzo: You.
Britney: Do you think the house would have done what they said?
Enzo: If the majority of the house is going that way, why put yourself out there.
Monet comes out and some more Kathy trashing.
Britney: Kathy is a purebred today. She's a Puuure. Bred.
Enzo: It's weird. We're like a family in this house. But we're a dysfunctional family.
They talk about wanting to only hang with people they like. Enzo starts in on trashing Rachel. Monet: I went up there. Said my peace. Meant it. But I'm not going up there again.
Britney: No use talking overkill (paraphrasing). Ala Annie.
They go on to make fun of Brendon being a have not. They love that he is one. Seems the Catty Twins became Triplets today.
Genie runs away from the feed for her sanity... and finds a funny screenshot.

Sitting by/in the pool chatting. Whatever Brendon has been saying has garnered him two BB warnings not to talk about production.

Rachel and Hayden
They are talking about people who suddenly become their friends when they become HoH. Rachel asks Hayden whether he is being treated differently. She tells him that she is about to make a move that will put things in place to see where people go. Useful information for the future.
Hayden: But the plan is to evict Monet.
Rachel: Yes. No matter who I put up against her, the plan is to put out Monet.
Hayden leaves. How long will it take for him to tell Lane and the other Brigade members what she just told him...
In the kitchen a feeding frenzy has begun... Enzo has started in on the ketchup again... Hayden is chowing down on a sandwich... Information I am sure you're all dying to know! Andrew has made an appearance on the feeds! Doing dishes. Grr! the cameras don't stay on him long enough for a cap!

They are talking about competitions. A little bit of Jedi training then getting to know each other some more. It's hard to hear because they have no mics on and the sounds of the pool are overpowering their voices.
Talk turns to Kristen's boyfriend...

Rachel: There's no stability in this house.
They laugh.
Kristen: I'm taking it one day at a time.
Talk turns to Hayden. Kristen is hinting that she is close to Hayden without admitting the full extent of their relationship. This conversation is worth checking out. Cams 3& 4. Kristen says she should have told her boyfriend to go on with his life before she came into the house. It's a difficult situation for her. Kristen's biggest fear is having people judge her because of her choices in the game. Rachel gives her advice to see how things will unfold.

Ragan, Kathy & Ragan at the dining table talking about a documentary about the "black sheep" in the Kennedy family which turned into a musical on Broadway, and was later made into a movie with Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore. (Grey Gardens) Talk turns to Wicked, the musical. (**One of my favorite novels and musicals!!)
Kathy: Kind of like this house. Like the Wizard of Oz.
Talk turns to movies. The last movie Kathy saw was Blindside. Talk turns to Sandra Bullock. They all love her. Andrew especially!

Kristen and Rachel come inside for a snack. They chat with Kathy about things they would love to do. The feeds cut to Monet who has taken her marbles... I mean fish sticks to eat in the Insect Room where Britney is sleeping.
- Outside Enzo, Hayden and Brendon are talking professional sports. It turns to politics.
- Monet returns to the insect room for another lather, rinse repeat with her catty twin.
- Matt is up and about, getting something to eat. Lane is enjoying some ice cream. Lane wonders how bad it would be if the Stockyard Bell rang now. Matt says they will be "roasting" out there. Andrew is around do no game talk. Matt has a dream he was evicted.
- Outside, Brendon, Kathy, Hayden, Kristen, and Rachel are talking about learning disabilities, the related testing and class sizes. Enzo is there but not saying anything. Kathy gets up to fold laundry and Hayden goes to help her.
- Inside, Andrew is cleaning again. Matt is helping put dishes away.
- Ragan joins the fascinating discussion about Education. (worth checking out on Flashback on Cams 1 & 2 starting around 2:30 pm BBT)

I think Brit and Mo pretty much has no clue about Rachel. She is a smart cookie and her renom of Andrew will show that... even if Matt and the Brigade in the end will vote with the house not to reveal their alliance. It will be apparent and Andrew will also know that Ragan is on his side and not somebody to target.

If you ask me, putting up Andrew would pretty much assure that Rachel's HoH was a waste of time.
I mean, if Andrew was liked by all the HG's (which he's not), I wouldn't think twice about using him as a pawn, but since he's not, there is a HUGE chance that he'll go home, instead of her actual target, Monet.
All they need is 5 votes to evict, so if "The Brigade" sides with Britney, Andrew is DUN.
I'd LOVE to see Rachel really shake up the house by putting up Enzo!!!

I'm torn on the Andrew re-nom. I do think Rachel is smarter than we gave her credit for but I think she could re-nom Matt and still use what he did against him. As far as who will go home, it depends if the brigade is ready to reveal themselves somewhat. They may decide Monet isn't important enough to sacrifice that or they'll think it's more important to get rid of an enemy and not an ally, as Rachel should be thinking.

What a day yesterday was in BB Land. I'll never get caught up. One blog post has 711 comments. There has to be some really juicy stuff going on in there.
I'll never catch up but I have all the tabs open.
Last night was great for me. I didn't win but I learned so much in my first pageant (and probably LAST.) Photos are up on my Facebook page, and even better photos on the page of Kyle Scott. Kyle was my personal assistant all day yesterday from painting the face, touching up the wigs and putting me together in the dressing room and his fantastic moral support to keep me semi-sane.
Now to try to catch up, at least with this current post. I'll eventually get to the others whenever we get some downtime.

I'm sorry but Rachel isn't as smart as people are giving her credit for. If one of your enemies asks to be put up on the block you do it, no matter what.
Sure putting up Andrew will make everybody 'play their cards' but the brigade + Britney are going to have the better numbers moving forward especially if Andrew ends up going home (I have a feeling he will).

I actually like Hayden being the swing vote... because he will have to make a stand between the Brigade and Kristen. I would not be surprised if he tells the Brigade after the ReNom of Addrew that they should vote to get Monet out no matter what or they alliance will be found out. BRILLIANT plan by Rachel. Furthermore, Andrew is willing to risk it to see who in the house would keep him since he feels few like him anyway.
Rachel is the same Rachel as last week, but this week has a different deck of cards to play with. I don't know why people have to make her less than she is... She is an astute player who also has happened to fall for a boy and as in anything in life... love can complicate things.
Tage I agree that there are real feelings between B and R but that is a very unhealthy relationship and they should not be together, in or out of the house.
I somewhat agree with you Resa, but I just don't think Rachel particularly cares if Andrew goes home. She thinks that will reveal alliances and she'll be "in good" with Brit and Mo. Which we know isn't true but that's what is going on in her head - either way, she did what they asked. I do think it's a mistake, she could do the safe thing and still know what she knows and use it. I think if she does reveal that Matt offered himself as a pawn, that will put Brit and Mo against him and may make him vote to evict Monet. This week is going to be a toss-up. Who is ready to reveal what and start voting for themselves and not the house?

Maybe they decided that as they were scrambling when they saw that their Sabateur (sp) was being sent packing and needed another hook for the viewers!!

I agree that Andrew is a not so smart decision as a replacement. It could go either way and no secret alliance (BRAgade) would be exposed, and they need to be. Matt or Enzo, preferably Enzo in my book should be the replacement and then watch the BRAgade either explode or really go to work.
Enzo would be the sure way to get Monet out since there is no way to get Britney out, but she was my first choice. I know a lot here find her at least entertaining. I'm just not on that bandwagon.
I think Monet would be a much different person without her and become very likable.

This school conversation is interesting to me. I started back to school last fall. I am terrible at math and wanted to learn. I did not learn anything but how to punch numbers into a calculator. No written work at all.
I am so loving this regular convo in the back yard, because it shows who has a brain and not. Not about what they say as much as the fact that they think about it. :-)

Re: Rachel. I'm not understanding. Granted I only saw a few minutes of her on BBAD last night before I died but she was acting CRAZY! All the silliness and mystery as she kept saying over and over and over... This is Reality TELEVISION. I think I understand what she meant, I've always felt the same way about production if I do get her meaning. But was she quite drunk or what?

Hiya Aimee - I actually find this conversation fascinating, but I am a teacher. lol :)
I teach high school. Admittedly I came into the conversation late, but to make statements that teachers teach because it's "a job", "for summer vacations", or because they are "moms" is demeaning and insulting.
Sidenote, they are incorrect about cutting funds for science education. Science is one of the few programs not facing as many cuts. Most states have class size limits on science that are not in place for other areas. There is a great deal of both public and private funding for science education.
Also, this generation isn't called "the entitlement generation" for nothing.

Now that Brittney and Monet are privy to the fact that Enzo wants Monet to stay, wouldn't it be a good time for a last minute scramble to tell Rachel so she will consider putting up one of the brigade? If they can expose the alliance then the house might just vote against them!
Kristen's BOYFRIEND?! I love it! I hope she is using Hayden as a pawn in her game! And I hope she has an understanding with her boyfriend that any flirting is strictly gameplay! I hope the Brigade attempts to include her or she figures it out by being close to Hayden and she exposes it to Rachel and they pick them off one by one!!!

OMG... The conversation with Enzo, Matt, Andrew, Monet & Britney around 4:15 on 1 & 2 is sooooo friggin hilarious!

am i the only person that believes Rachel intent is to actually keep Monet?
She has mentioned more then once what you can get out of people when there backed up against a wall. (meaning Brit and Monet's promises to her if she put up Andrew)
She knows Andrew will go home if she puts him up.
I don't think Rachel has been playing with her heart too much... I really think she thinks Hayden is more loyal than he seems, and she noted Matt's subtle threat and thinks keeping him out of the picture will keep her safe at least for a couple weeks... Her problem is gunning for Monet...
She should have told both Brittney and Monet that her plan isn't to get rid of either of them and she couldn't put up the real person she wanted to go home because she feared that person would win the veto... then she should have ensured votes for one of the strong boys and backdoored them. This week takes 6 votes... Brendon, Kathy, Brittney (I don't think she would vote for Monet), Kristen, Andrew, and Ragan. Badah Bing, Badah Boom, a strong player is gone!
One bad strategy Rachel plans on undertaking is not wanting to backdoor people. Does she really think no one would backdoor her? Backdooring is smart, not some horrible, unforgiveable act!
RE Stephanie West Coast: Yeah, she did say that but she never told him that before she left so the assumption is she still has a boyfriend... but I guess you are right in that her feelings for Hayden could be real and she would act on them... just wishful thinking on my part that she is playing him. I don't care for Hayden too much... or any member of the Brigade for that matter.
