BB12: PoV Ceremony Spoiler & Aftermath
Hello BB Dishers!
Phew what a morning on the live feeds! The PoV Ceremony is under way and we are awaiting the results with bated breath!
For a look into the events/discussion leading up to the ceremony please refer to The Morning Report .
Ragan spent a long time with Brendon this morning trying to get him not to put up Matt; but Britney was the last one his ear and it looks highly likely that Brendon will be putting up Matt therefore more than likely insuring he use the DPoV during the Live Eviction on Thursday.
When the results come in they will be reported here! :)

Feeds come back.

- Britney is watching.

Matt (joking to Britney): So, you are already planning your week without me. What else are you going to do next week with me gone?
It's confirmed. Matt is the replacement nomination. They got a Saboteur message telling them there is no competition.

Cabana
Matt and Hayden are talking about this new power and who might have it and use it. Enzo joins.
Matt: There is a power out there. Anyone in the house would use it except Brendon or Kathy.
Matt asks them if they're still using the split votes strategy. He tells them not to give up on the Brigade. Ragan comes in and the talk slightly alters.
- Matt goes to the kitchen with the others, leaving Ragan with Enzo and Hayden. He is cooking slop and gives himself a smile in the mirror.
- Ragan is telling Enzo and Hayden that he had a deal with Matt and himself and that Brendon's word means nothing. More of the same.
Ragan leaves, and Enzo and Hayden say it s*cks. Lane joins and a lot of turbo-whispering ensues. Brintey comes in. They don't think there is a special power floating out there. because Julie didn't say anything to them. Britney thinks that enough crap happened to them in the house.
Brief bubbles.
Britney: I want to know who is telling him to put me on the block.
Enzo: He might be BSing.

Matt & Ragan
Matt is telling Ragan that Hayden, Kathy and Enzo were petitioning to put Britney up. Ragan says that's why he put him up, is because so many people were in his corner. Matt wants to talk to people like friends. He won't be campaigning.
Matt: If you see me being chill. It;s not because I'm not fighting. I'm trying to be cool. (**And I have a super mastermind evil power).
Ragan: Lane must have gotten a deal with Brendon that he will be the pawn.
They go on to say who has deals with Brendon and how little they mean. Ragan says he's the only one who doesn't have a deal with him. Matt says that its s*cks because he won't have the opportunity to save himself.
Matt: The only person I'm not going to hang with is Kathy, but everyone else I'll hang with.
In his next breath, he speculates that Kathy will be the swing vote.
Ragan: Do you think you will have Kathy's vote over Lane?
Matt: I don't know. I have a good relationship with her but I don't know how she is with Lane.
Ragan: Her whole thing is pathos...
Matt goes on to say that Kathy is very sympathetic toward his wife's illness and what they are going through. He adds he doesn't want to "exploit" the situation.
(*Now that Brendon has no power, let the Brendon bashing begin...)

While Brendon talks to himself in HoH, and Kathy sleeps in Taj, the rest of them plan his demise, yet again, in Cabana. Ragan is complaining about Brendon. He is convinced that there is Double Eviction and he thinks that everyone is on his side... Their next topic is making fun of Kathy.

Ragan and Britney leave allowing the Brigade to talk. Matt repeats that he thinks someone has a power, and everyone but Kathy would use it. Matt then asks them if they would all put Brendon up if the win HoH. They, of course, all say they will. They start making fun of Brendon trying to make deals with everyone. Matt says that if he's there he is putting Britney up with Brendon, and if Lane stays, he puts Ragan up with Brendon.
Matt asks Lane if Lane made a deal with Brendon. Lane says no. Hayden and Enzo tell Matt that Brendon is trying to spread sh*t. Matt asks them how deep they are in the sh*t.

Matt is called to DR.
Enzo: So what are we doing?
Lane: What do you mean... we're taking out Matt.
Enzo: We all feel good about doing this? (*Dude. Lane is sitting right there.)
Hayden: That's what we have to do.
Enzo: Do we put him up and f*ck our votes in the Jury house?
Lane: I don't think it will F things up. No one will listen to Brendon and Rachel will vote based on game.
Hayden: I think we let Britney or Ragan win HoH.
Enzo: They will put us on the block.
Hayden: I guarantee they put Brendon up with Kathy.
Enzo: What if Brendon wins PoV?
Hayden: We would have the votes to get Kathy out?
Enzo: Do we trust him to vote against Kathy? He wants to take Kathy to the end.
They move on to talk about Jury votes. Then they discuss the Saboteur, and Hayden suggests what if Ragan is the Saboteur. They entertain scenarios where they keep Brendon to get rid of Britney or Ragan. Hayden leaves. They go around in circles. Ragan comes in, he says more of the same, then leaves. Enzo makes a face at him. He comes back and tells them that Brendon was insinuating that none of them are his friends (*cause they aren't). He leaves and Enzo makes the face again.

Britney & Hayden.
Britney: Me and Lane hang out but we never talk game until I force him to.
Hayden: Lane doesn't talk game to me either.
Britney: He keeps things to himself.
Hayden: That's smart.
Britney: I love Lane... I like everyone here.... but I won't have the votes in Jury.
Hayden: How do you mean?
Britney: Rachel is pissed off at me. Brendon will be pissed off at me. Matt will be pissed off at me.
Hayden: How do you mean?
Britney: He doesn't have my vote.
They talk about how they would vote in Jury. Britney says she will base her decision on game. Hayden says he will vote mostly on game but also based on who needs it.
Britney: The one with the most heartwarming story is Matt's but Matt is...
Hayden: a snake.
Britney: He's sneaky. I like Matt and I feel sorry for his wife, but... I would never vote for Brendon even if the Saboteur is beside him in full regalia.
Hayden: He wouldn't get anyone's vote.
Brendon: That's what p*sses me off in this game, there are people who won't get blood on their hands.
Britney goes inside. Hayden asks Kathy what she thinks. She says she forgot all the messages. Hayden tells her that they will study in Taj later... Kathy asks him what Britney was saying. He replies that she was mostly complaining about Brendon.
Genie: Stop talking and go to sleep!

- Britney is in the pool.
- Brendon is sleeping in HoH.
- Hayden joins Enzo in the Cabana for a snooze-fest.
- Ragan had finally passed out, probably with Matt in the Insect Room.

- Matt joins them at the pool.

Matt & Lane find themselves alone.
Matt: Do you think Hayden and Enzo will put Brendon on the block?
Lane: I don't think so, they don't want to upset him.
This makes Matt livid.
Lane: Brendon wants Kathy in the game.
Matt: What a p*ss! He goes around that he wants to get rid of floaters and he keeps her?
Lane: I know...
Matt: If I leave would you stick with the Brigade of pair up with Britney and Ragan?
Lane: With the Brigade.
Matt: I'm concerned whether Enzo will start competing or not.... It scares me that they won't put him up.
Talk turns to the special power. Lane thinks it would be great even if it was the power to take one of them off the block. (**Ding! We have a winner!)
** This conversation is important because not only is it giving us a look into Matt's thinking process that would possibly influence his DPoV decision, it can be risky for Matt if Lane decides to share it with Hayden and Enzo, this might curtail Matt's membership in the Brigade.

Ragan's crying to Kathy, feeling awful about Matt being the ReNom, so he spews about how awful Brendon and Rachel are, as opposed to how perfectly lovely and wonderful Matt is.
Ragan: I feel like the whole house is complicit. Matt won a head of household and did what everyone else would have done, and I don't feel like he should be held responsible for that. Brendon is so full of sh*t. He told me upstairs that he wanted me to win the PoV. He made separate deals with Britney and Matt.. When I went up to talk with him this morning, he wanted to make a deal with me to save Matt, where basically he was insinuating that if he didn't put Matt up, he wanted me to reciprocate by not putting him up..
Kathy: If you hear the DR door opening, it's him.
On cue, the DR door opens. Matt to DR now.
Ragan: So basically I said that I wouldn't make a deal, because my word means something to me, and you have to understand, you are asking me to make a deal with you, because you already made a deal with Matt, which you are now considering breaking.
Kathy: That's messed up. That's so messed up.
Ragan: He told Britney, all we have to do is make sure you win Veto... He's so full of crap. Just say why you're putting people up...
Kathy: He should just say I'm doing this because this is what Rachel wanted me to do..
Ragan: I'm a very emotional person, clearly, but It I'm a very logical player...
You've heard this all before. There's no need to continue transcribing it. Lane enters, ending the conversation. It would be bad form to continue crying over the potential loss of Matt, in front of his co-nominee...
Lane: What're y'all talking about?
Ragan: Brendon bashing. It's the new sport.
Matt enters. All smiles. Lane to DR.
Ragan: How were your DR sessions?
Matt: I had one good one about Brendon's stupid Veto Ceremony speech.
BB: You are not allowed to talk about your DR sessions.
Matt: If nothing else, I'll set an example for how he should behave on the block next week. If I leave this week, I will be mortified if he doesn't walk into the jury house right after me.
Kathy: The only way he can't is if he doesn't win PoV.
Ragan continues to bash and bash, ironically talking about how negative, mean and evil Brendon is when talking about other people...
Ragan: Here's another juxtaposition. He's playing for an evil, horrible girl who he met a month ago. You're playing for your wife who has a rare disease.
Matt: I thought about that. I also found it tragic comedy. So, are you gonna use your coup d'etat on Thursday?
Ragan: (laughs) If somebody had coup d'etat..
Matt: I know. It's a longshot.
Ragan: The only problem is, you can't put up the HoH.
Kathy: I know.

The Ragan led Rachel/Brendon bash continues... Matt's also using this as an opportunity to tell Kathy all about the deals Brendon made with him and Britney. Kathy responds, "unbelievable."
Ragan: Well, I hope you're here to see him leave.
Matt: I hope so too. I hope I'm able to take some part of it.

And all's well...
- Matt and Ragan leave Kathy in Jumanji and go to the kitchen to make protein shakes.
- Lane is there at the kitchen counter.
- Brendon enters and asks Lane if he'll be working out tonight.. Workout chatter ensues.
- Kathy enters the kitchen.
- Brendon pours himself a glass of red wine, saying "it's 5 o clock somewhere."

Hayden: You gotta power?
Matt: I wish.
Hayden: The problem was, Rachel left him a message.
Matt: How?
Hayden: In pretzels.

Hayden: Kathy. Rachel left her the key.
Matt: Will you guys tell me on Thursday if you decide to gang up and go for Lane?
Hayden and Enzo promise they'll be splitting it.
Enzo: It's not up to us. It's up to Kathy.
Matt: Pretty much. Kathy's the vote. She'll probably get confused. Why did Kathy tell you guys about the pretzel thing?
Enzo: I think she thinks she's in an alliance with us and Brendon.
Matt: A fake one?
Enzo: I think she thinks it's real.
Matt is poking and prodding to see where the boys truly stand. He's sincerely and correctly doubting their allegiance to the Brigade.
Matt: It's a rough situation.
Enzo: what the f-ck, man. As soon as Ragan won that PoV.
Matt: We need some kind of break.
Enzo: We were supposed to get Ragan the f-ck outta here.
Matt questions them more about the pretzel message and how they knew about it...
Matt: Well, we gotta hope we get a stroke of luck this week. The ideal thing would be for one of you guys to win HoH and put me up against Ragan, so I don't have to get my hands dirty there.

Chatter about how pooped they are due to being kept up by the saboteur all night last night... Hayden joins them.
They're laughing about how none of them could even pronounce saboteur in the beginning of the season. Someone asks where Brendon is, and Hayden says he went upstairs with a glass of wine to have a bath. Enzo finds that less than masculine. Britney makes a suicide joke, asking if she can bring Brendon a toaster for his bath.
Chatter about friends outside the house... and the Duggars.
Britney: They have 19 kids now.
Hayden: Why?
Britney: Religious purposes. They're really nice, good people.
Kathy has a friend who gets recipes from the Duggars... for food and detergent. Britney goes on about what a lovely family they are. Talk turns to John & Kate Plus 8.. then onto large families in general..
Chatter turns to Vegas. Enzo and Kathy - All they want to do is go home!

Hayden gets it! He just told Lane he thinks Matt got a power, and told Lane that when BB gives you a power, you're never allowed to tell anyone about it. Lane says he hopes so, and that if that's the case, he'll have no problem voting Britney out.
Enzo comes outside, and says they've got to be honest with Matt and tell him they're keeping Lane. Hayden shares the Matt has a power theory with Enzo, and says if he has one and they tell him they're keeping Lane, Matt's likely to throw one or the both of them up on the block.

I think it's obvious the DR wants Matt on the block. This whole week as been fishy.
Anyways, here is the deal:
The only question now is, how much will it hurt Matt's game? Think about it:
Matt uses it to put up Kathy... the Brigade realizes he IS playing both sides to take each other out!
Matt uses it on Britney: Ragan realizes something is amiss and might FINALLY put 2 and 2 together... oh that's giving that idiot a brain, never mind.
Matt uses it on a Brigade member because he realizes they turned on him (OH PLEASE BE ENZO!)

Morning/Afternoon my fellow BBDish addicts.
Though Enzo and Hayden may be seeing things a bit clearer not hanging with Matt. Lets not forget that Matt assigned them to Brendon last week in case he won HoH.
Im not sure if Matt will use the DPOV if he is not the one on the block. I do however think he will fight with his ego to use it, Could be that he uses it on Lane after the regular Veto ceremony, just because he can. If Brendon puts up Britney, then Matt will replace Lane and put up Kathy.
That would also fair well with his desolving Brogade and possible put him in a better light to them. So I dont think the Brogade is gone just yet.

I also think that Matt will not use the DPOV until eviction night, so no one has time to campaign or talk about who to vote for. It will be an off the cuff vote for all.

Shout out to those of you who explained the Marcellas factor . . . In the past few season's that I have been watching, if someone won the POV they took themselves off the block - except for ED and then he didn't even go home . . . he so had this game . . .
Can't wait to see who Brendon puts up . . . I hope Britney and then Matt doesn't use the DPOV because he kinda wants her gone still, right?

How is Matt's using it proof that he is playing both sides? If he uses it on himself, I think Kathy is the nomination that makes the most sense to not piss people off.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I love Ragan.
My wish is him and Matt F2!!!
Enzo (even though he's from my hometown and got caught smoking at age 6 with my nephew and lit the garbage cans on fire LOL) is USELESS.. and drives me insane!! Sidenote: he did not try out for the show, he went with his cousin and they heard him talking outside and auditioned him)
My hope is that Matt gets wind of him being ousted from the Brigade and ENZO goes home!!

I think Kathy might be going home this week if the DPov is used! I dont see matt replacing his nomination with Britney, so therefore Brendon is screwed. I think he should have put up Britney regardless which I think he would have done if she had the chance to play for POV. he just doesn't want to "backdoor" her.

Ahh I like that he can only use the DPOV at Evictions. This gives him the rest of the week to figure out that the Brigade wants him OUT!
And that makes my heart flutter with the possiblity of Enzo going up on the block.
I can't remember exactly what I wrote in the other post but Judy - Such a cool story! Thanks for sharing =) I too am in Enzo's hometown =) It's too bad I find his gameplay really hard to like. In fact, I haven't seen one move that I've really thought was spectacular.

Something it took me a while to realize regards Brendon's comments that Rachel wanted Matt out, is that it may actually be what he wants as well. And by putting Matt up he is not necessarily following her wants.
And regard Matt being put up and using the DPOV, the fact that he doesnt have to use it till Thursday will give him several days to read the HGs' attitudes. And he might be convinced by E/H that they will be supporting him and not Lane causing him to not use the DPOV.
And also, E/H may blow it and let the cat out of the bag, and therefore become the renom.
And then question becomes who will survive?
E/H vs Lane - Lane survives with Matt, Britney, Regan votes.

I am thinking they will do some type of comp today, that is the only way to keep the sab alive. If they do nothing, then the sab is totally discounted and they believe that BB is the sab. I do not think AGP is ready to let go of the sab just yet.
Especially with Ragan staying in the game. I am betting they continue his offer for a power of some type.
Again, I must point out what Carolyn said last week: why do the HGs think the Sab knows anymore than they do?

Shouldn't you always be weary of people who are willing to make black and white deals?!
If I were HOH and people were deal making with me, I would be looking for deals that made sense and not that were exactly what I want to hear.
For example, right now Britney is guaranteeing Brendon absolute safety next week should she win. Realistically, even if she intended to keep her word (which she doesn't) it might not be feasible. First of all, if she doesn't go up, they don't know about the DPOV so they have to assume that Matt is gone.
Britney will not realistically put Ragan or Lane up. She is also not likely to put up Enzo. That leaves Kathy and Hayden and Brendon. If POV is used, she really won't have any real choice in putting up Brendon. Brendon cannot realistically think she meant she would put up ANYONE but him... but just anyone but him as is reasonable.
Brendon needs to see that next week choices are very limited for re-noms and therefore he should only make deals with people who are upfront about their intentions. The more people someone is "alligned" with in the house, the less you should make deals with them because it leaves their options for re-noms very very limited.

What does he go and do... he befriends the biggest floater in the house in Enzo.

YES!!!!! So happy Brendon put up Matt. There are really only two possible scenarios now.
1) The week goes fairly smoothly and then Matt takes himself off, he puts up Kathy in his place and Kathy goes home.
2) The other way it might go down is one of the Brigade becomes an idiot (can anyone say Enzo?) and leaks their alliance to someone else in the house. Then all heck would break loose and who knows who Matt might put up in his place.
It seems clear to me that Matt is going to try to keep everyone calm and not stress too much about the nominations, but he walks a fine line of looking too cocky or complacent.
Oh yeah . . . Matty is up! The DPOV will be used at the live eviction . . . oh man, four more days . . . man . . .
If everyone would open there eyes and watch what is going on, they would get it...There is too much second guessing everyone right now..my head is spinning..

I almost feel bad for Brendon. His HOH week was a complete loss for him. His 1st target won POV and his 2nd target will save himself live on Thursday's show.

Every season, I hear the same B.S. complaints from someone in the house, and every season it makes me want to vomit.
The complaint against someone not keeping their word.
Why are there always people in the House who become offended when someone doesn't keep their word? What makes any of them think anyone is obligated to keep his or her word?
If they have ever watched prior seasons, and are truly fans of the game as some of them claim to be, why haven't they caught on to the fact that people will do what they need to, and make the choices they must make, for themselves, to further themselves in the game?
Why do they always fall into this same mind-set of fairness and insistence of people keeping their word??
I swear, it drives me batty. And I have enough bats in my belfry already. I don't need them added to!!!!

Ummmm... Ragan... people have to do what is necessary to stay in the game. Face it, trusting you and Matt is NOT in Brendon's best interests. It isn't "fair" to Brendon that Rachel went home.... but anything that happens in BB is "fair" in that ANYTHING is "fair" game.
Ragan is a bigger whiner than Brendon and Rachel combined... not to mention the poorest sport.
@Jeff: I used to think that about Enzo... but his perceptions and social game are stellar right now. While I don't think someone who only plays a good social game with good intuition should win the whole show... if he steps it up in the comps in the last 4 weeks or so, I think he deserves the win.
He is dead on with Matt's playing of all sides... he is dead on that teaming up with Brendon in secret with Hayden is his best move... other than thinking there is no saboteur, he is dead on in a lot of stuff.

With Matt it is so hard to tell if he is hinting at the power he has, or if he is trying to throw folks onto someone else, like Lane. Remember several think Lane is the sab. If Matt thinks enough will attempt to vote out Lane, even if it is just to get that power out in the open, he may just sit back and smile.

I am starting to get upset about this continuous talk about the fish not being fed for days and days. I cannot imagine that BB has STILL not gotten the fish food after so many people have complained about it.
@ Kevin: I agree that those are the only 2 likely scenarios... and I don't think Enzo or Hayden will let it slip that they are leaving Matt's side... to tell anyone else would also mean that they expose the former Brigade and people will know they were in a secret alliance for the whole first half of the game... Its too risky, even if they don't know about the DPOV.
Besides, Enzo and Hayden are very keen on the "no one can know" stuff... most people in BB history haven't been able to keep a secret, but that is one thing that the boys in this case have been very able to do!

So happy Brendon put up Matt- I wonder if Hayden and Enzo will tell Matt they'll be voting for him to leave, prompting Matt to break from the Brigade and put one of them on the block.
Otherwise, would he really put Kathy up in his place? It would be much wiser to put Britney up, no?
I'll miss Britney's DR sessions though, so I'm rooting for Enzo as the replacement.
Not ready to see Kathy leave yet- although she's a stick in the mud in terms of the game, recently I feel she's started playing a lot harder.
Furthermore, the longer she stays the better her chances of F2 are, and I'm beginning to think a few people on the jury might actually vote for her to win. IMHO Matt has been loyal to the Brigade, but because of this DPOV he has not been as connected because he knows he's safe. They (Enzo) took that to mean he had switched sides and hence started the Brigage paranoia and the chink in their armor.

@Val: I've been saying that all along... America should vote on whether or not Ragan gets the saboteur messages. He was handed this money, the HGs think the twist is a joke, the at home audience thinks the twist is a flop...
I will admit this week has gotten interesting and I am starting to enjoy it... but this is still the worst cast in BB history and I don't see that changing.
AGP should give us Big Brother during the winter to make up for this AWFUL season.
And I want a season that doesn't have any crazy powers and stuff. I want a season that is just straight up Big Brother. No crazy powers... no Saboteurs... No America's Player! HOH, Food Comp, Veto and Eviction... and throw a fast forward week in there! Twists are fun but lets not get crazy with them. Make the twists add new obstacles, or have a week where the HOH can nominate 3 people, or come up with a fun new way to have a double eviction or bring a HG back into the game. But don't have twists that are so crazy and out there that they change the dynamic of the game! People love BB because of the way the game is played and the drama it inherently causes.
I also want a cast that isn't all just young wannabe actors. Kathy is the only good non-traditional casting choice this season. I want a Renny... I want a Sheila... I want a Jerry... Brendon and Jeff were nice to look at, but lets get some diversity in the casting as well...
@Pamela: I feel like it is still like week 2... this season has drug out for me... to the point that I just want it to be over... this week is making things interesting but starting next week I think it is going to be status quo again.... a sucky cast playing a sucky game.

Boy am I as tired as the HGs. Went to bed early last night thinking it would be quiet in the house, am I nuts or what. Stayed up late cathing up on reading (only BB season interrupts my passion for reading).
Now have spent all this time getting caught up on feeds, reading the blog and of course reading the posts of all the dishers.
I am exhausted but afraid to go to sleep. There is so much drama to cover this Wednesday and Thursday, CBS needs to make each day a two hour show day. Imagine not being a tv only, so much being missed.

I just thought of a way to make Pandora's Box this yaer cohesive... both between Brendon and Matt's box.
I hope that that when Brendon opened Pandora's Box he was told that someone in the house had the DPOV but was instructed that he could not tell anyone that he knew about it. Rachel's job was to go in and ask people questions about who they thought held the DPOV (she obviously couldn't say anything either). This explains her "mission" that she couldn't say what it was (the house thinks it is that she was finishing her duties as the saboteur, but we know that is not the case...)
Then Brendon's job was to re-nominate the person who Rachel thought held the DPOV and if they succeeded then Rachel is unleashed back onto the house.
This COULD be because I still don't see the good/bad out of the second pandora's box... I really don't think it was just a chef and a massage.

@Stephen: I agree, BB needs to stop with all the twists. and bring back the food comps! Also agree about diversity. I was saying this cast is the least diversified ever. Kathy is the oldest and she is only 40 (stress on the only because that's my age, too) ;) I think Andrew was 42, but still, everyone is young and attractive.
This will be an early night for these HG's (after last night's all night message fest), or, BB will give them plenty of libations to liven them up a bit.

and of course Matt is not going to campaign-he know she is safe. Lane will not campaign (he thinks he is safe) Come Thursday Matt gets up to say his last words and BAM!He pulls out the DPOV,takes himself off the block names a replacement, the houseguests jaws all drop. Ragan smiles.

I really like Matt as a player. The only thing bothering me is the lie about his wife. Not so much because he lied (not illegal) but because Ragan will be so hurt. I know Ragan has been quite mean in this game, but he has been completely loyal to Matt and even tried to get Brendon to not use him as the renom. This revelation will devastate Ragan and I wish Matt would confide in him about it being false. Then he and Ragan can form a true alliance and take out some brigade members. Of course,he probably cant risk it because Ragan would never want to sit at F2 with someone who may get all the jury votes b/c of sympathy for a lie.

@ Genie, I was so thinking if Brit wasn't engaged I could see a future showmance for her and Lane. Sort of like Jeff and Jordan, starting out as friends first.
I thought from day one Lane had eyes for her in the way he teases her. I think he both likes her as a friend and as a little sister but would be easy to take it to another level just because of the comfortable easy way they have with each other.
I hope Brit doesn't have to go on the block against him as I am sure he would win and would not have the time to really say goodbye or console her for being evicted.

Today is one year that I have NOT touched a cigarette and I went to the pulmonologist and both of my massive blood clots are GONE!!!!!
I have some fluid left, but he feels my body just hasn't had time to clear up all of my ailments.
He also noticed that the nodule that was on my right lung is GONE!
I am going to Temple Lung for a 2nd opinion anyway and going to see a Cardiac Thoracic Surgeon b/c the clots did cause part of my lung to die and the doctors are up in the air with their opinions on whether or not I need to have the dead part removed.
What a GREAT day this is turning out to be!
And yes, I know that there is a chance that Brendon can play in the HOH Comp this Thursday. Janelle was not sure, but thinks he can.
Matt will use the DPOV on himself and maybe put Kathy up, but I think the better option would be Britney, but then again Matt may be thinking that then he is really in the spotlight by being the only Brigrade member left that has a "side alliance".
I just think if he takes Kathy out that it is almost a waste of power for Matt and I think Matt is smarter than that.
I am glad there are those who have begun noticing the Lane/Britney connection. I have been noticing it much longer and had even suggested that Lane is Nick. However, someone somewhere had seen on Facebook a pic of Brit and a male named Nick. My thought had been that there is nothing to confirm that the guy is Nick, and could have easily been planted in her Facebook.
Until proven otherwise, I still suspect Lane is Nick. Although some of his convos w/Brigade seem to suggest otherwise.
I am hoping Chelsia and one of her co-hosts can confirm one way or the other as they were able to do with Kathy and Britney.

I think Matts hinting strongly about a secret power might be because he feels the brigade is weakening and he's trying to keep them from falling apart.He has said-don't give up on the brigade.He also told Hayden/Enzo(2 wks. ago) to buddy up with Brendon/Rachel as a strategy and that he would stay in the background so as not to draw suspicion,they seem to be forgetting that.That call to the DR was probably a warning to shut up about the DV.

I have been so suspect of Lane and Brit that I prolly pay closer attention to the two of them than most.
An example is right after the eviction last week, Lane was standing in the background and Britney was standing behind him with her arms wrapped around him.

@Genie: LOL! Normally I wouldn't put so much brain power into the saboteur messages. But I think since Ragan is safe and it is the last couple days of the saboteur, they are going to use it to tell the HGs about real stuff so once the saboteur is gone, they can have the last message be "houestguests... you have still failed to get me out of the game." And then they will be paranoid even though its all over and done with... I still think that Rachel's mission may have been to find out who held the DPOV and try and get that person to be the renom without having the opportunity to actually tell Brendon... if she succeeds and the DPOV goes up and uses the Diamond Veto, she comes back into the game... that would make Brendon's PAndora's Box make more sense... she said she was in for a 24 hour mission but we don't know what it was. It couldn't be a mission as the saboteur because we all know she isn't the saboteur!

Put another way: The saboteur has NEVER corrected himself about fabricated messages... why would he come on and be like "Okay... I lied... no competition today." I think he said that to throw them off so they think the competition was a complete lie, then tomorrow they will be completely thrown off when it is a competition... I'm not saying its some crazy competition that gives some weird power... could just be a luxury comp...
Then again, Production probably wouldn't tell Ragan about any comps...

@ Blue your story of the trash cans and your watching poor Nickie reminds me of a Christmas about 2 years ago where I got my Dad a robot for his 90 birthday. My son was showing him how to make it do stuff (it walked, talked, threw things, kicked things, etc.) and my neices dog Knickie started barking like crazy.
My son had a ball with the robot and we thought the dog was going to go beserk snapping and barking at the robot as my son had the robot chasing the dog around the room. Knickie finally got the courage to turn and bite the robot and of course we all felt bad at his yelping in pain when he bit a solid hard object that didn't give.
Sort of sick/funny playing with pets that way but it was all out of fun and love and Knickie recovered and my niece took the remote away from my son so he couldn't tease her dog anymore.
Toni, that is wonderful news. Blood clots scare me and I've never even had one. I can't imagine what you have been dealing with.
Congrats on the 1 year no smoking anniversary too. I wish I had the willpower but I don't.
I don't know how DQTD did it 5 months ago tomorrow (before he went to bed on Mardi Gras night.) I still smoke like a chimney (even with this bronchial infection) all day and all night and the computer is in the living room. Sitting here is when I smoke the most.
Plus he goes to every show I do and I have no idea how he tolerates smoke filled bars anymore.

@Stephen: I think The "Good" part of Pandora was Brendon thinking Rachel would be coming back for good, but he gotfooled and was given a "spa day".The "bad" was obviously Rachel comin gback for the day. I dont believe the good.bad is always extreme. Remember Kevin last year? he got his hand stuck in the thing till someone came up and freed him (not really that bad. He still had a chance at the money drop when they let him out.and the "Bad" with Natalie was the "visitors" wreaking havoc on the house-not that "bad" either. so maybe Brendon's "good" wasnt as good as Matt's. I don't know, just me overanalizing again ;)

He has definitely been itching to use the DPOV and now he can. Why did he have Ragan go up to Brendon and plead for him? Because he knew that would tick Brendon off.
Brendon trusting Brit is a joke, but I think he felt the greater of two evils was a better choice.
Matt will only take himself down. If he is really DUN with the bragade he'll put up Enzo or Hayden. If not he'll put up Britney.
