Big Brother 14: The Overnight Report - It's a Brand New Game
Good morning, BB Lovers! Happy Friday and Happy Brand New Game in the BB14 house! Our new HoH is Danielle, and on the agenda today: Nominations... and... maybe a comp before noms, but I don't believe there'll be any have nots this week.
Watching the live feeds after the endurance comp last night was like watching the first night.. Everyone scrambling.. Everyone trying to figure out where they stand and with who..
What makes it different from a 1st night is they all know each other now, so the level of gaming is intense, mad, fierce. There are grudges to settle..
Week 4.
12 players.
Brand New Game.
With the coaches entering the game as players, Frank and Joe getting saved from eviction by the twist and Shane getting to participate, Big Brother 14 truly was ReSet last night.
Kudos to Shane for handling it like a champ... and to Danielle for her HoH win.. While I'm at it, Rock on, Father Dan with the Pep Talk when Danielle needed it most!
The Endurance Comp was just fantastic! Looking back at the caps on the post, I think my favorites are of Dan and Danielle at the end.. Such joy!
The kiss was pretty great too, though..

Dishers, please refresh this post in a little bit for key moments from last night after the comp... Honestly, the whole house just went bonkers on the feeds. Newbies v Coaches, Coaches Alliance, Players still relying on their former coaches, players dead set on eliminating their own coaches.. cough.. Wil... If I tried to get every important thing, I'd be working on this TOR til tomorrow.

Skipping way ahead in the evening.. While Danielle was initially set on putting Janelle up with the intent of getting her out, Dan talked her off the "I hate Janelle" ledge, and they seem to have agreed on Wil and Frank as the likeliest noms today.
As of 10:05am, BB has now done the wakeup call, and Boogie and Frank are outside bashing Wil pretty hard. They know what he was up to last week, trying to "scumbag" them, and they are both livid.. More F bombs than I'm comfortable writing at this hour of the relative morning.
Frank: We're now in a house with 12 f'in people we don't trust..
Boogie: Plus you have a group of people who are like F the coaches, f the coaches.. You're right, it's not a reset.. My way to play this coming in with 12 new people is totally different..
Bashing everyone now..Wil, Britney, Ian..
Boogie: For our purposes, Ian's not that valuable. He's a f'in liability. She's a horrible liar. I know she's not a kindergarten teacher.. And your tickling privileges are gone, trick. Bitch.
Frank: I know.. I had to kiss her ass all last week.. and now I'm supposed to again? F that, son.
Boogie: I ain't even speaking to you. Keep your f'in candy bars. I don't eat that, bitch. Dan thinks he's winning this again. He really thinks he's so much smarter than everyone.. I lost a ton of respect for him last night. I didn't trust the others, but I trusted him.. You wanna roll one over on me? Fine. But don't try to be my friend the next day. Good morning Caro! Excellent coverage last night! I'm so happy I purchased the feeds and got to see it live. Although my man Ian didn't win, it was nice to see him secure his safety for this week being the last guy to drop. I think he earned a lot of respect from the house last night!
It's going to be crazy to see how this all plays out. Hopefully Dani makes some big moves. They need to get the vets out, and that SHOULD be priority #1 for the newbies, however, I don't know if it will happen or not. We shall see!

I have tons of opinions today (not that anyone shouldd care, but I have to share with someone).
The twist of not having an eviction. I thought it was slightly unfair but I know that fair does not exist in the BB house. It completely screwed Shane. Mostly, it wasn't fair to the viewers (well, me anyways).
There hasn't been a great blindside since season 8 Dustin.
Let's face it, it's almost impossible to pull off a true blindside. Either the voters chicken out or the nominees figure out that they really aren't 'just pawns'.
I was looking forward to this and left completely disappointed like a kid who gave up a whole year of holidays to get a really great Christmas present and then opened my gift to find underwear.

Last night was so exciting!! Why were Boogie and Frank were in their room figuring things out instead of outside supporting Ian? I'm glad Ian made a deal and dropped! He was in a lot of pain while Boogie and Frank were inside only worrying about themselves.
I really did try to stay up for the HoH reveal but fell asleep...gonna go to flashback to see what I missed. If I find anything interesting before Blue or you find it I'll let you know!!

D-Bags of the week award-still a tie of Boogie and Frank. Boogie did mellow a little and admitted it was a game of lies. But I get sick of them talking about how Shane owed them. They never saved Shane, they never helped Shane, and every time they told Shane (or Wil) they wanted to work together, 5 minutes later they would say they wanted to backdoor them.

Matt Hoffman sure has alot to say about CBS and the coach going into the game. I totaly disagree with CBS on not having the eviction, week before Frank rain two left. CBS really must have wanted to keep Frank in the game.
Now somewhere along the way they will have to have two double evictions.
I was so disappointed with the "twist" and feel totally scammed. I don't think the America's Vote was legit, I think that same result would have happened whether we voted for them to join the game or not. And in my chat room on the live feeds someone mentioned that the producers were coaching Brit on what to do in the Diary Room, thats why they "forgot" to switch the microphone over. Whether or not that conspiracy theory is true or not it did seem to make sense.
THEN... I am also disappointed in the fact that there was going to be a great blindside last night, Frank was going to go (YEAH!!) and Boogie was never going to see it coming (HA!!) Feel so let down. :-(

I eat my words thinking Mike didn't hit the button because he knew Dan or Janie would. Who knows, maybe this is part of his strategy, you never know with him. I was not impressed with his sulking and bi**ching last night. I also think he is dumb for telling Frank they get 20k no matter if they get out this week or 3rd place.
Janie was laying it on thick with Dani in HOH after everyone went to bed, I think Dani is smart and sees through her though and will only trust her when she needs her. My head is still spinning, can't wait to see how this week plays out. Will Franks pitch about don't put me on the block and that will prove we can all work together with trust again work? I sure can't wait for all the HOH butt kissing today!
Dan is really regretting the way he acted when Danielle won HOH... But I think everyone suspected that. I don't think its really a secret that they'd be in an alliance.

You sold everyone out to Frank for what reason? First of all, these are the same people that just tried to save your life in the game, saved you from drowning, pulled you off a cliff. Remember? The same people you promised on your children's lives you would never turn on.
Did it earn you favor with Frank? No.
Did it turn players against coaches? No. It may have turned Boogie against Dan to some degree. But you also completely screwed over Shane and Danielle causing a fracture in the newbie group which is exactly what the vets count on. I just don't get you. I just don't understand.
Joe, my words of advice to you-STFU.
I really love the way everyone (mostly) treats Ian in the house. They are all really sweet towards him, and pretty careful with his feelings and emotions. Especially last night. The way Britney and Danielle promised him safety, and then showered with him. The way that Dan gave him a pep talk speech. I love Ian... but I'm still rooting for Dan :)

Another joint award with our return winners-Frank and Boogie. Crying the blues and complaining to production about the comp being rigged for a girl. (Hmmm, wonder if the comp with the 300 pound ropes in season 12 was fair) Get over yourselves already. It's just a game.

He is so sure this game is about coaches vs. newbies. Like Dan said, it's about finding a couple people you can trust.
Where are you gonna go Wil? You have Joe, Ashley, Shane, Danielle, and Ian who you don't trust now or never have. You have Frank who doesn't trust you and is working with a coach. And you have Jenn who hasn't played the game yet.
You were starting to earn trust with Dan, Brit, Shane and Dani. They need a couple more people and you need an alliance.
Based on your belief that newbies hate coaches, why wouldn't you want to sit next to a coach at the end of the game. If people vote best player, it doesn't matter who you sit next to. If people vote personal, eventually you will have to turn on your own. But if people vote newbie vs. coach the newbies are going to have at least a 4/3 majority of votes.
Wil, Wil, Wil...you have flashes of brilliance. But then your weave starts to squeeze your head too tight.

Hi all ... My first endurance comp on the live feeds was not disappointing ... that was intense. Ian kept me on the edge of my seat for a little while. So glad he finally fell, poor guy means well, but I'm afraid he'd be too easily manipulated by the Boogie Man at this point.
I value all the diversity here and the different opinions and value each and everyone, even when i don't agree.
I stated this last night...
I myself know I voted YES at least 100+ times, did the CBS 10 votes with 10 different accounts and text several times and asked family and friends to do the same, I know that some of them did at least. These coaches, especially Janie, Dan and Boogie have such a huge fan base that I think the vote was legit, who really knows except production. I am happy with it.
On another note, Dan is still doing some great coaching AND securing that if Dani gets to the end and he is there she will take him, he is a smart man and I think he can talk circles around almost anyone in that house if he makes F2.
I would have loved to see them all on a Legends seasons with Dr. Will, ED, Dani D, Memphis, Rachael, J/J, and a fews others, maybe throw in an Enzo for entertainment lol. However, we have to work with what we are given and I can not say I am not delighted that Frank stayed AND the coaches entering, I am super stoked! I love this game and I love Caro and the dish for all they do and all the tedious work that goes into keeping us updated. I will always be a disher and I do not cheat :) Except with an occasional Twitter peek. Thanks again CARO, Lessa, Zinger and SS and thanks dish family for your comments and opinions.

Wow. What a night! I was up for most of it and am paying for it now. Two hours more of work and then home for a nap.
I'm still trying to decide who I want for the F5, F4, F2... After the twist, comp and aftermath, my eyes have been opened to some things. I don't dislike anyone, except for Britney, and I can tolerate her sometimes. I know for sure I don't want her for any prize money. I wasn't excited about Dan entering the house. I liked him but I was neutral on him returning. After last night though, liking him a whole lot more to go the distance. Janelle... can go. It was hilarious to see that Wil saw through her tear performance!! Now Boogie... I know the consensus in here, but I am a fan! I like him and Frank. I do. They play this game well. A little dirty, but well. Like Ian... Jenn... I was impressed with her comp performance (know she was glad when Boogie dropped first - lol). Ashley - can go. Shane - I like. Danielle - can go. She's too starry eyed over Shane and if not for Dan would have been gone week 1. Joe.... has to show me something other than tattling. Wil... I'd like to see him go a little further. Can't wait for the noms. Potential fireworks on the way!!

Hi Caro! I tried several times to post last night but I keep getting an error! Last night was epic!! You did a great job. I stayed up and watched the whole thing and of course I am paying for it today here at the office. lol
Have a great weekend all! I will try to be in touch but I am heading out of town for a much needed break. Where I am going I will be in and out of service :( So I hope nothing exciting happens.

I am really disappointed in this season. Last night's blindside would have been epic! And Boogie and Frank make me sick with the words they are using in reference to the women in the game. I don't see how anyone supports them.

In a perfect world, Frank would go this week (keeping in mind I'm team Dan and/or team Brit). Keeping Wil is necessary cuz he's so gung ho after janelle.
I'm super bummed for Shane. All that hard work for nothin. But he's handling it like a champ. Unlike a certain other Allstar winner!!!
Not commenting much, but had to share my opinion on last night's Endurance. It almost felt epic and the way they used to be with people actually wanting to win. Watching Shane struggle to not fall off brought me back to the Final 3 with Dani, Zack and Evil Dick in Season 8, where Dick held onto a key for 7 hours while moving around having cold water being dumped on them. I felt the same for Shane... almost verklempt in his will to pull through, but the body could not match the spirit.
Happy about the outcome nevertheless.
PS. Shocked that BB did not DQ Ian when he spun around and got on another's block.
