12:14pm -- Feeds are back! Jessie was in the house.. Yup! He took all their food and their beer downstairs and left them with only organic food. Danielle's blowing up the inflatable toys they got..
Dan: He hates you Joe.
Danielle: He kept bein' like, Daniele, feel my arm.. Look at my ass.
Jenn: He knows you're the only girl in here who'd be interested.
Ian: They showed me the Christmas Tree and then all the gifts. It said, if you open it, you'll have the best Christmas ever.
Frank: What gift weren't you telling us about?
Ian: Nothing.. Just a bunch of toys..

Jenn: It was hard to watch him throw the beer away.
Ian: He threw away the beers??
Dan: He didn't really say anything to you, did he?
Danielle: He called him stringbean..
Jenn: He threw away all my slop mix too. Jerk.

Ian: Sorry guys. As soon as I saw it, I was like, Dan's gonna flip out.
Dan: I thought we were gonna get something good.. Like he was gonna take us outside.
Ian: 2 volcanoes, a telescope..
Frank: Kale chips.. Everyone's gotta try one. Come on!

Dan: He's not very quick. He was being fed lines.
12:26pm The backyard opens, and we see Ian's BIG present: A swank new Hammock. He's thrilled!
Dan and Frank check in quickly regarding the coming noms..

The bugle sounds and we're back to BB normal.. Joe picks up his hula hoop and has a go..
Joe: F'in Jessie.. Not a fan of me.
Jenn: Nope.. Not a fan of Chef Joe..
Dan: If you had a sliver of any type of complex, he'd bring it out in front of the whole house.. I never understood that.
Dan's not a Jessie fan, but he kept his mouth shut..

Jenn: It was straight strategy.. I was just trying to leave someone in the house who was a bigger target than me. I just think there are other people here who haven't gotten into the game as much as I have.. I think you know who I mean.. I've never gone against you in this game..
Ian: I kept you though.. I did vote for you to stay. I could tell, you actually wanted to be here more.. How in good conscious could I keep someone who didn't get out of bed to play the whole pulling strings thing?
Jenn: I know you love this game.
Ian: I'm not gonna play personal. I'm gonna make what I feel is the best move for me. If anyone wants to talk to me..
Ian: I respect people who take risks, make moves..
Jenn: All I wanna do is be here and compete.
Ian: And you're a hell of a competitor.

In a quick little conversation, Jenn learns from Frank that Joe, Shane, Danielle and Dan have all been told they wont be going up, so she makes the logical deduction.. It's her and Frank.

Ian: If I put up one of them as a replacement, there's gonna be a temptation to get rid of them instead (of my target).
Joe: I'm only going on assumption, but I;m assuming Frank's gonna be the main thing.
Ian: We've only got 2 weeks.
Joe: I promised Britney when she left that I would be one of your strongest allies.. OK.. So we're good, and enjoy your day. Thank you.

Morning Dishers! Hapy Ian Friday :) YAY! They got a new hammock! Nice padding and best of all NO SQUEAKING!!
From the last post in resonse to ToniToni: I did forget that. You are right. :) I do believe we have to agree to disagree on the backstabbing and scheming. I don't believe scheming is against the Bible's teaching as long as you are not scheming to hatm. And yes I do believe he did this to Danielle but I also believe he throughly regrets it. My assumption is the only reason he did this was for people to assume that he had given up instead of going to save himself with Frank. Dani was used as a commotion so people wouldn't have time to think about this. If he knew it would be this easy to persuade Frank and Jenn he wouldn't have done it. Or it could have possibly been his way of getting Dani in a better position in this game. He knows especially because he told her that she is in a way better position now than he is. And as for backstabbing even God isn't loyal to people who are disloyal to him. He stills loves his children but he isn't loyal to them. Dan isn't blind he could see Brit going to talk to Frank all the time. That was her way in stabbing him in the back securing his departure. When I think about Dan IIS always think of him as an imperfect man even with his Bible in his hands. I believe him eading the Bible the first place proves that he wants to maintain some form of a moral compass. How straight and narrow it is is for the viewers to decide.
Hope Frank leaves this week. Can't stand his loud voice any longer. Ian is to trusting of the QP. He needs to make better deals for the DE this week. Time for Dani/Shane to be broke up.
I dont think BB would give a power to Ian this late in the game, but I dont believe they would waste a PB just to take away food, put Jessie on tv, and get a new hammock

I feel it varies depending on the conditions it was introduced and coveted(or not)throughout one's life.
The subject is subjective.
If you're questioning Dan's use of the bible in this game, perhaps you'd like to ask yourself why it's so important to you.
What impact is this sceneario having on your own unique values and beliefs?
Are you projecting your ideology onto someone elses' life experience?

Well said Chelle. It is a game & others have done way worse. Dan is playing a better game than most & if he makes it to final 2 he deserves to win. JMO
@rob tan... I agree.. A bunch of cheap toys, Jessie on tv and throwing out food doesn't add up.. I wouldn't think it'd be a power but maybe money or trip and he doesn't want to tell anyone.
If it is just the toys it's the worst Pandora's Box in my opinion.

Jenn forgets who saved her last week. I am surprised that she is still with Frank. She could of been alright this week if she had stayed with the QP. Don't understand her devotion to Frank. It may cost her the game.

- for some reason always lays on her belly with her bum in the air when the guys are around. Take notice ppl
- likes to say. Am I fat to the guys so they can tell her no
- never showed an ounce of empathy for Ashley's pain, but wanted everyone to notice how she cared for Dane's leg wounds
- is just a nurse...not a diagnostician, but gives her opinion on everyone's maladies in the house...even stating in one convo that Ashley was addictive. I do have to question her wanting Xanax for her imagined shingles.

Kinda sad we have to have a "say something nice about Dani" day. I feel kinda sorry for her. I guess having a daughter her age & seeing how little confidence some of these young ladies have gives me a little more sympathy for her. I guess I just don't get all the disdain for her. But anyone who's a nurse has a lot of compassion for others. It breaks my heart for her that she needs attention & love so much that she throws herself on a man who's let her know he wants to only be friends. And laps up any info that may say otherwise. I hope when she gets out of the house she works on her self esteem & confidence cause if she reads even half of what's being said about her it will crush her. So Dani this is for you......you are beautiful inside & out. When the right man comes a long you'll know it cause he will treat you like a queen. Until then, work on the confident young lady that can take on the world & hold you head high! There are BB fans who do like you & I am one of them!!

Pally-For me, the Bible teaches a believer how to conduct oneself in a moral way with a high regard for others. Do unto others as they would do to you.
Does one then propose a final 2 deal with Frank and offer to solmenly swear on the Bible to seal the deal? And then the following week say to Dani, we need to get Frank out. You really can't have it both ways. At least that's how I see it.

There's a lot of theorizing here about what production does, or does not do to manipulate the show, but you gotta wonder on this one. I think Ian is far too smart of a player to put anything at risk regarding his game just for a Pandora's box.
I'm guessing production told him that if he opened Pandora's box it wouldn't affect the game. I mean, production always wants Pandora's box opened for the TV show (has there even been a case where it wasn't?)

I totally agree. But it doesn't seem to bother anyone in the house. She has serious issues but I feel will go far in the game being with Dan and Shane.

Hello Dishers! What a late night last night! Football messed up the live show for me, and even though I have dvr, I just had to stay up til cbs broadcast it, so that kept me up til about 3 am. Ugh! While I'm glad Dan figured out a way to get himself off the block, I truly am bummed that it was at Brits expense and I'm going to miss her humor and kind heart (especially towards Ian). I'm glad he won HoH, he's really the only one who no one would be suspect of putting Frank up on the block, since everyone else has some sort of deal (whether real or done just to placate him as HoH last week is yet to be determined) with him. I have been wanting Frank gone for a long time now, & I just hope it will finally come to pass this week. At first I just wanted him out cuz he is obviously a threat in comps and there were other HGs I liked better. But now I just don't like him as a person. When he was on the block with his bff, they took things to a new level of childish with some of the personal comments they made. Also, Frank seems to think he's the only one who really deserves to even be there, much less win, and that it's ok for him to treat people negatively, but if he's the one on the crap end of the stick, everyone better watch out!
A big thanks to Carolyn and Lessa and everyone else for this great site!! It sure does make the BB experience as a viewer much more enjoyable (and addicting hehe!) To those who have been dealing with Isaac, I'm glad y'all seem to be making it through okay :-)

What is the BB production infatuation with Jesse? I don't get it. I couldn't wait to see him leave the first time he was on, and seeing him appear EVERY season since is just bizarre.

So Ian got a new hammock ... would you believe I stood right next to the old one last night?!? The live show was great! We thought they had moved the hammock to make room for the endurance comp, but now we know more!
We arrived for the show at 3:00 pm and a line was already forming. We had "guaranteed" tickets however because we were turned away last week because the VIPS took all the seats -- boo! So we were actually the first ones checked in to the outdoor waiting area. Then we had a very mini Isaac moment ... rain! Really big drops for about 30 minutes, so they had to move us into a covered parking garage.
Then we were escorted to the studio, where we could see the "really high" fence around the back yard. Then right before we went into the studio -- which is so much smaller in person! -- we met one of the Associate Producers who had met one of my friends at work. I think that's why we got a lot of camera time. :) For those of you who were looking for me, even though you had no idea who to look for, thanks!!! :- } The 4 of us are sitting on the left side, 4th row up, the 3,4,5,& 6 people in from the aisle. There is a woman in a bright pink blouse and two men in suits in the row in front of us. I am the one between my friend in the black shirt and my husband in the green shirt, wearing a sleeveless dress, short hair.
Julie Chen is a very beautiful and friendly lady! She had fun with the audience. Seeing Britney come out though was disappointing for me ... I just love her humor. And my goodness she is such a tiny thing! When her interview was over and she was escorted out, the audience gave her a standing ovation and was yelling Love You Brit, waiving, cheering, etc. It was so much fun but sad!
We had to sign a confidentality agreement so I can't describe everything we saw, I may be even breaking the rules saying I saw the hammock (!) but it was an evening I'll not forget.
Now, back to the game!!!

Even when she was talking with Ian a few weeks ago about the possibility of a "what america thinks" type of pov, everyone question she asked had to do with her and another girl. "who do you think america would want to see in a bikini? Me or janelle? Me or ashley?" Girl needs to grow up
