Trivia on a Sunday! PoV Prize!!
The live feeds went to trivia right around 11:30am, just a shot while after Dan was talking to Danielle about trying to get Shane to NOT use the PoV. She said she'd try, but she thought it was a lost cause.
So.. Here's what I'm thinking.. Either this Trivia means we're having an early PoV Ceremony, due to the fact that BB is taping the eviction show on Tuesday and they need to get this in the can and speed up the process... or.. This Trivia has something to do with the prize Shane won during the PoV Comp.
We're just gonna have to wait and see! :0) Whatever it is, the spoiler will be in this post...

Feeds are back! Shane's prize for winning the PoV is getting to go to an as yet undisclosed event, and he chose Danielle to go with him.. He's been told to get dressed, but not fancy.. Shane's up in HoH having a shower. Dani's downstairs in the bathroom getting gussied up.
All they know is they have 1 hour to get ready..

Jenn thinks they'll be going to the MTV Awards.. Dan thinks it's a possibility too, and says it hasn't happened since BB4, when the HGs were flown to NY!

Alone in the bathroom, Dan reminds Danielle to "remember this is a business trip.." He wants her to work on Shane re not using the PoV on himself. "What's more important: Music Awards or $500,000? "

Dan: It's like 2 kids getting ready for the prom..
OK.. Trivia Mystery Solved.. I now reserve the right to resume Sanity Sunday. :0)

What a crazy week! I can't believe that the season is almost over!
Carolyn, interesting thoughts on Jenn this morning. I think you are right, she won't play the 'you can beat me in the final two card', in her mind she is a mover & shaker in the game, not the actual floater she is. It got me to wondering how many players watch their seasons afterwards and confront themselves about who they really were in the game and who they are in real life.
I would like to see Jenn fight while she still has a chance.

I've had the blog pulled up all day just in case something interesting happened.
Today is yard work day for me. I've been neglecting it and it was starting to look like Frank's hair.....wild and unkempt. hehe j/k The yard wasn't THAT bad. But close. ☺
Back outside I go.
Good morning... . er afternoon everyone. At last some excitement! Maybe while they are gone Dan can mist Ian and JEnn to vote out Dani!
I should take a drive up to the Observatory and see if anything is going on or if I get even get close...hmmmm
Shane may be dumb, but he's far from stupid!
If Danielle keeps on pushing for him NOT to use the PoV on himself, he is bound to figure out that this is coming from Dan, since Dani would never ask him to stay in harms way, if she knew she'd be safe on the block.
I think Dan is trying to repeat his strategy from last time, and screw over his alliance members just to drag along someone who HE thinks is a non-threat to the Final 3.
If you ask me, Jenn is NO Jerry, and shouldn't be underestimated by either of them, since she was able to hold her own in most of the recent mental comps (physical, not so much).
Even if Dan & Dani did manage to get rid of Shane next, followed by Ian, there is a very good chance that if Jenn made it to Final 2, she could win the $500K, since she'd likely have Frank, Joe & Ashley voting for her, and all she'd need is one disgruntled Quack Packer to put her over the top.
I think that getting rid of Jenn, now, and going to the next round with all 4 QP intact, will give Dan a MUCH better chance at a repeat win, not to mention it's the right thing to do.
Hopefully this luxury trip is the first trip of two for Dani outside the house this week
If Shane doesn't pull himself off, he deserves to go home. Hopefully S/D will start to talk about getting Dan out.
Hi Dishers! Hope everyone is enjoying their Sanity Sunday and my favorite time of year... Football!
Some food for thought: If the POV award states 'not to get dressed up', why would Danielle disregard that?! Clearly they are only being one-track minded and not taking the 'stars' reference into better consideration. A couple nights ago while they were all outside at the hot tub, Dan asked Shane to describe an entire hypothetical date night for him and Danielle, if she were to ever come visit him in Vermont. Shane mentions a bunch of stuff and then says that they would cap off the night on a blanket in his backyard, falling asleep under the stars. I would be very surprised if this 'date' has anything to do with actual star celebrities.
Also, for anyone out there that watches True Blood. I feel like Dan is the one who 'glamors' (sp) everyone, instead of The Mist. :)

If Dani tries to get Shane to not use the POV then I hope Shane wakes up and asks a critical question ... if someone had my back in the game why on earth would they ask me to not use the POV?! If that doesn't tell you she's working against you then you're blind, blind, blind!
Shane please wake up, take yourself off the block, make a pact with Ian and Jenn ... and vote either Dan or Dani out of the house! At a minimum, take yourself off the block!

Jenn and Ian are talking about Tuesday being 9-11. I doubt they're going to be happy to have it be an eviction day.

If it was Me as Shane .I would not take Dani on the trip. I would talk to Ian and tell him i take him . if he put Dan up went i used the POV.
I would piont out how Dan has ben able to get his self off the block. and he need to feel what they have really feeled.But i would vote dan out and pray that Ian see it send him out.

Carolyn, thanks for the perv camera picture of Dani bending over. She kept saying she had no underwear on and I knew that BB was going to try very hard to capture a picture but I missed it. I just hope for Dani's sake that she is smart enough to not read about herself, her ego will take a beating.
My idea of where Dani and Shane are is an day after wedding brunch with the BB stars who were at Brenchel's wedding so that would be the newlyweds, Matt, Chelsia, Jeff and Jordan.
Something about how the wording read the event of the summer and wouldn't it be natural for BB to think they are the event of the summer (and hey to all us dishers they sure are, lol) and therefore will let Dani and Shane meet some former BB stars. Let's not forget that Rachel and Jordan won so although I am sure they won't get insight as to what has been going on, they might get some advice as to how to play the game when you get down to this size.
Anyway, can't wait to see where they go and what they do. Meanwhile Serena just won (yippee!!) so hopefullly BB won't be more than 30 minutes late in starting.

I agree! Dani has played an excellent game. People attack her about her quirkyness and little things that have nothing to do with the game of Big Brother but when you really look at it in eyes of the big brother game, she has excelled! With Dan's help, of course but with her own abilities as well.

Shouldn't Ian have been disqualified like Frank was when Ian spoke to Shane during HOH comp? Frank spoke to Britney and was immediately disqualified during one of the comps. What was the difference? Ian waked into Shane's space spoke to him and shakes his hand.
