BB12: Monday Lunch -Veto Means Not
Good Afternoon BB Lovas!
The Veto Ceremony was no surprise. Britney didn't use it, but the live feeds are abuzz!

Britney: Why would he say that to Lane? You're a smart girl and you play the game. What he did today was disrespectful and not classy and gross.
Rachel: I don't know what to do.
Britney: I feel sorry for you. You're in a bad place. I am not going to hold it against you.
Rachel: It's really hard. I don't know what he's doing. I told him before not to say anything stupid or that he would regret. I don't know who this person is. It's because he was put in the corner.
Britney: I don't think he was put in a corner. He has been looking for a chance. He doesn't like women. He likes you but he doesn't like women... So for him to say I am a spoiled brat and selfish. I am so angry right now. Not at you. I'm not going to hold it against you. I'm sorry you got put in this position.

They are having none of it. They are convinced that it was an act. Matt keeps insisting Rachel is the Saboteur. They still want to go ahead and make Rachel believe that they are voting Brendon out.

Kathy is trying to comfort her, saying she probably now has a chance of staying.

Britney joins Matt and Ragan. She agrees that it's totally Saboteur.
Ragan: Your response was brilliant. I came up here. I was fuming. Matt was right. If the goal is for us to make them think that we are going for Brendon.
Britney: What I said to her I'm not holding her accountable for his actions. She asked me if I would be offended if she hang out with Brendon... I said sure! Do what you need to do... (in mocking tone)
Ragan: His speech was so repulsive. Her crocodile tears are an indication. You're no Meryl Streep... I want them to be totally blindsided on Thursday.
The discussion deteriorates. The bottom line? Brendon's speech had no effect. Rachel is still the target.

Brendon thinks it worked. Hayden comes in and asks them if they are okay. Brendon says, "I could keep it in for so long. We will see what happens." Brief bubbles. Enzo comes in, blows some smoke up their shorts. Then Hayden and Enzo leave them to their delusion.

Enzo: you're fighting each other. You should fight the Brigade. But you don't know about us. The Brigade!
Lane: We've been playing the hardest game in BB history.
Enzo wants Ragan out next. Ragan and Britney join and bring the trashing with them.
Ragan: Never in BB history have I ever seen no one, no matter who want to make an alliance with. will make a deal with them. I have seen villains get people to work with them. No matter what they try, no one wants to deal with them.
Brendon comes out and their p's and q's come into play again. Talk instantly turns to chatter. Rachel is in the kitchen washing dishes alone. Outside talk turns to sports.
Britney butts into the conversation, trying to bait Brendon talking about Nick. Brendon doesn't take the bait. The conversation stays on sports.

Now I can't wait for Wednesday night's show to find out exactly what Brendon said during his speech.
I will say this, watching Brit and Rachel talk just now, Rachel kept crying and sniffling, but I don't think I ever saw a single tear fall from Rachel's eyes. Found that curious.
Maybe now, Brendon will be the one going home on Thursday? Maybe he turned it so they would want to send him home instead of Rachel, and she will be able to stay?
I guess Brendon fell on his sword for Rachel. His idea was that if everyone HATES him he'll go home and Rachel will stay.
I actually hope Rachel does stay and wins HOH!!

OMG! I really didn't think Brendon had the bal!s to do that! I think if I were in the house I hope I would know that it was all a ruse and keep him anyway. Matt and Ragan are on the right course, I just hope they keep the wheels spinning in those little heads of theirs!!!
I think Rachel and Brendon should do all kinds of horrible things, like hide the pool balls and put red Xs on peoples faces, move around all the toiletries, move pillows from one room to another and whatever else they can think of to make the HGs really want to get the sab out...the sab job is just way too stupid
sorry, I think they're smarter than that. they're not going to buy it brendon. they know it was either an act or he's the sab. we all know he'd prefer rach to stay as she's much better at this game than he is.......won't happen since they all know that too.

I had this same problem last year and on the Survivor site too. Seems there is a cookie or something I can't get rid of and I have no idea what my email address was way back then. I've tried all I can remember. Help anyone?

Poor Brendon, I really feel bad him. He means well and I think he truly thinks he loves Rachel. I am convinced Rachel is just using him as part of her game play for the show.

As for AGP being the ultimate to choose the task, I expect them all to be pretty lame. I don't see AGP using anything that would be a real game changer, and the Diamond Veto is, to me, only going to help the BRAgade to further themselves in the game, via Matt.

I gotta say I'm with Britney, I want to know how Brenden has had all these career paths being 29.
And just lately I have noticed he really does have a story for every other story someone else says, I think he watches a lot of movies and thinks it is actually his life...

I have had the feeds since season 8 so all of my opinions are based over the past 5 seasons.
I don't think the cattiness this season is any worse. I think that it wasn't as constant before. But there have been some vile, disgusting things said that hit at a much deeper more personal level in past seasons.
I think the reason it seems worse this year is because they seem to not be as creative in finding other things to do. In the past we had beer pong, swim club, naked James and Jordan trying to learn how to tell time. They really don't do anything to entertain themselves this year.
Add to that the fact that we have people like Kathy who we view as someone who should be older and wiser. Britney, who has so many funny, quirky and likeable qualities. Ragan, who seemed like a genuinely kind and big hearted person. We want to believe they can be better than that.
It may seem worse in the sense that it's constant. But I believe it has been far worse in the past.
I got got. Of course, thats what I get for stepping away!

The most prevelent suggestion for the sab is to lock the exit door and make the evicted HG the new HOH. I would love it if that happened, but who knows...probably just wishful thinking

To no one in particular - I don't think the Saboteur will do anything significant to change the game. These people don't accept the truth even if it's biting them in the face. Production needs to give it up already, and let this season come to its inevitable end.
I don't know Blue, I work with 5th graders reading/math and it is a pretty cool age, though I do feel kind of stupid at times! LOL Boy do these kids grow up fast!
@Val: I am "official" going with Matt for the win. The brigade as a whole will help carry him through, but he seems to be the only one doing the leg work. IMO so far he is the best player at this game and with the DPOV, his game is only getting better
For me what makes this season different (in terms of tolerance of the meanness) is that this crew has such a limited repetoire of "games" to move them forward. No real back stabbing in the sense of alliances. Alliances are either delusional on the part of one party but never really confirmed by the other.
Or like in the Brogade a secret that no one knows about so doesn't create drama and then because of the side alliances we the feed viewers actually can tell what is going on.
Past seasons I think we didn't focus on the catty talking about others because we were caught up in the other drama and our heads were spinning trying to figure out who was going to be evicted.
This season there were no surprises for me in any of the evictions or who was going on the block and let's face it certainly no big anticipation for endurance comps. That being said, the constant bashing seems bigger than it probably really is.
Just my opinion. I am enjoying this season though because some of the game play (although I may think is lame) seems to be effective.
I think I'll wait for the New Top Post for any more comments.

Kudos to you Genie and RedRhonda! Anyone who gets "it" knows that Teachers are among the most treasured gifts this world has to offer!
Kids at any age are a treat ... and, yes, sometimes a challenge. Nevertheless, they truly are our future ... give them the light of knowledge and let them lead the way.

Matt and Rachel are the only ones who deserve to win, and although I did not like Matt lie about his wife at first if that is the deciding factor of him winning, more power to him. You are supposed to lie in BB, you are supposed to backstab in BB, without lies it just wouldn't be BB!
Dee, I don't teach, just volunteer with couple kids throughout the year. I only wish I could teach. Genie is the hero teacher. But thanks. :)
