As of 9:29am BBT, Rachel is the only HG awake, and she's having a rough time this morning. Prolonged captivity is wearing on this gentle creature...

Rachel's up, taking out her extensions, washing up in the bathroom and getting dressed to do some cardio outside. She makes her way to the sliding glass door, and get hits hard with her reality:
She is not in control of her life right now. Not even a little.
The realization sends her into a few tears, from which she recovers very quickly, as she heads into the Cabana Room to get a little cardio with a bit of a manic step routine, jumping jack, jog.
As she jogs around the tiny room, I have the sensation of watching someone in an insane asylum rubber room for the first time this season. I'm sure it wont be the last.
When some more HGs wake up, I'll get the morning report going in earnest.

Kathy enters and finds Rachel still doing her cardio. She asks her what she's doing up so early, and Rachel tells her she got called to the DR and stayed up to do cardio.
Kathy: (Late last night) You got up, said you were going to the bathroom to throw up, and I asked if you needed help to get there, and you said no, you knew this house down pat.
Rachel: All I remember is being in the bed and talking to Hayden and Kristen for a few minutes.
She's missing a lot from last night... She didn't realize how drunk she'd gotten.
Rachel: I don't know why we're locked in.
Kathy: I don't either.
Rachel: Why do you look so pretty without makeup on? I wish I did.
Rachel's getting stress zits. Kathy's going to head back to bed. Rachel's gonna get back to her cardio. Her hangover cure is to drink a ton of water and workout as hard as she can.

BB: Good morning, Houseguests. It's time to get up for the day.
HGs: zzzzz...
BB: Attention houseguests, there are fresh batteries in the Storage Room. Have you changed your batteries.

Rachel finished her cardio a few minutes ago, then went to pick at her face a bit and apply astringent. Screen caps of these events are not forthcoming.

Andrew: I slept a little. It's an experience. You just gotta enjoy it. Tall people definitely don't have it easy in there. Is Rachel ok?
Brendon: What's wrong?
Andrew: I saw her just before I went to the DR. I think she's having a rough time.
Brendon's up and heading to the Taj to check on Rachel before Andrew can finish his sentence.

BB: (stern voice) I said the bedroom lights must remain on during the day.
Rachel's feeling nauseous after her workout. Satisfied that it's physical and not emotional, while dealing with his own weakened state, Brendon leaves to go have breakfast himself, inviting her to have some as well...

Brendon returns to the kitchen, where Britney and Andrew are. Brendon asks about her drinking and her boyfriends. The questions are very revealing.
Andrew: They opened the yard!
Brendon: Does it bother you when he drinks?

Kathy enters and gives a cheer that the backdoor's open. She's out the door in 30 seconds for a smoke.

Kathy: What's wrong with Rachel?

Enzo: Who's that on the hammock?
Kathy: It's Lane.
BB: Enzo, please come to the DR.

Kathy: I don't know. They woke me up for it.
Enzo goes in. Rachel comes out.
Rachel: Hey, girl, Hey!
Hayden and Kathy greet her.
Rachel: I've decided it's a really dumb idea to get drunk in the BB house.
Rachel hops on the elliptical, which appears to be broken. Brendon comes out, asks if she's feeling better now. The chemist and the physicist try to figure out what's wrong with the elliptical... no luck. Brendon figures something must be wrong with the power cord.
Rachel: I'm really sorry for keeping you up.
Brendon: I didn't mind.. It's just my neck is killing me.
Rachel: I'll give you a neck massage if you want.
Brendon: I'll probably be down with that.
Rachel: You gonna work out?
Brendon: I just wanna let my food settle... Can we sit down over there and talk a little?
They go sit down on the chaise and Brendon tells her he was hoping to spend more time with her last night, but she was more interested in getting drunk. They talk about her meeting with Matt, and she tells him they talked about his wife and stuff...

Matt: I have good news and bad news for you guys. I talked to a bunch of people last night, until 5 in the morning.. 2 things are biting us in the ass right now.. 1 is, I'm playing by myself, so I'm either gonna make the whole house happy right now, or I'm gonna piss off the whole house right now... 2, after you called the meeting, if I don't put you up, the whole house is gonna think we're working together... Because all eyes are on the fact that since you guys threw me under the bus, it's really suspect if I don't put you up. I can either put you both up which makes me look normal in the house. Or I can put neither of you up, and with a deal, but a real deal this time, that neither of you puts me up next week. But, if someone wins PoV, I'm gonna have to put one of you up. I wont direct people to vote you out... I'm not gonna push for the PoV to be used. One of you could win PoV and not use it, thereby keeping the noms the same.
Matt: The odds of one or both of you playing for PoV are pretty good as the numbers dwindle.. and the 2 people I'm putting up, neither one of em have a good chance of winning PoV, I don't think.
Brendon: I definitely had a huge role in you staying here... You're probably getting different sides to that..
Matt: I definitely am.
Brendon: People are pushing their own agendas.
Matt pushes the "fact" that he's not in an alliance, so he doesn't have anyone protecting his back, if he goes against the wishes of the house.
Rachel: I really respect that you're telling us all this.
Matt: I'm not getting involved in petitioning for you two to go up or out, but if the PoV gets used, I'm going to have to put one of you up...
The conversation continues and Matt makes them aware of the house perception that their alliance includes Kathy, because of her presence in HoH all last week. Further, they need to be more aware of perception...
Rachel: I don't wanna throw anyone under the bus... I just wanna say that with both of us playing next week, we have a really good chance of winning HoH.
Matt: Which is why I wanna make this deal with you.
Matt tells them that after the meeting last week, as soon as he was on the block, 5 people came up to him and said he had their support.
While Brendon's making a case for them not to go up, Rachel reiterates her gratitude for his being so forthcoming.
Rachel: I have a question, if you win PoV, will you use it?
Matt: Aaahhh... I'm thinking I'm not even gonna try to win it. You guys are my emotional game, and the rest of the house is my strategic game play... And anyone watching the show is going, Matt, you're an idiot, why are you even considering the emotional game? I like you guys.
Rachel: I hear you, but it's scary.. If we don't get to play in the POV comp, and someone else wins it..
Matt: I'm not gonna campaign against you for someone to use the PoV.
Rachel: What if, you nominate me, and at least then I have a chance to win PoV?
Brendon: Not a good idea.
Matt: To be honest, that would make me look better, but I think you're way better off the way I'm doing it. I'll put ya up if you want.
Brendon: Rachel, don't even.
Rachel: I'm just nervous... what if neither of us get to play for PoV?
Matt again reiterates that they're the ones who broke the deal last time, and he's trusting them to keep their word this time.
Matt: I'm not evil. I'm not Dr Will. I just wanna win some $ for my wife.
Talk turns to people throwing the comp yesterday...
***My mind fast forwards to the Veto Comp and Andrew. He may not even be able to play to protect himself, depending on the type of comp and what time of day it occurs tomorrow.
The talk continues on and Matt attempts to wrap it up by telling them he's doing it this way to protect them, and he would really appreciate their silence on the matter, because otherwise, they'll be throwing him under the bus.. again.

Matt: Here's what's going on. You're not my target this week, but due to the social aspect of this game, this is what I'm doing... My target is Kathy this week.
Andrew: Really? You blow me away.. Why?
Matt: Because she was up the HoH's ass last week, and that looked really suspect to a lot of people ... But I need to put someone up with her, and that may be you. don't want you to think you're the target, because you're not.. Your stock is rising steadily in the house, and hers is falling... Everyone likes you now. You're being more social.
Andrew: What about...
Matt says that if the Veto comes into play, Kathy falls off the radar completely, and Brendon and Rachel get on it BIG TIME. Matt feels very secure that whoever wins POV will use it with the intention of backdooring Brendon or Rachel.
Matt: I am 99.9% positive that you're going to be safe. Also, if you hear that people are thinking of voting you out, I want you to come tell me, so I can talk to them.
Andrew and Matt discuss the clear backdoor opportunity of Brendon and Rachel, and Matt assures him that is actually his intent and goal of the week.
Matt again hammers home the notion, as he did with Brendon and Rachel, that this season is weird, in that everyone's out for themselves and there are no real alliances.

I have debated all night & morning how I can possibly thank all of you that took the time to comment about my kitty Erin & my loss. My main concern is that everyone who commented to me sees this Thank You. I cannot express to you how much it meant & I definitely have felt the love & support. It's going to take time to heal but with an amazing community like this one that gives of themselves to each other in our times of hardship, grief, worry, happy moments & celebrations it helps beyond any words I can express. I would love to name all of you but I just do not want to hurt anyone's feelings by leaving someone out. So, since you know who you are that wrote me a message I thank you. Hi Carolyn, you doing okay where you are at? I saw in the last post someone on the West Coast saying it was raining, not on my West Coast, blue sky peaking through.
Watching Rachel do her stealth work out was kinda cute. I always thought that if I was in the BB house, I would not work out in front of people, I would do it in the middle of the night, or when everyone was sun bathing etc . . . work out like a little stealth ninja! That is what I would do . . .
Speaking of working out, I need to go to the gym today. I have not been going this week like normal. To much going on in the BB House - I need to keep my life going . . .

I saw some comments made re: Erin today and remembered you mentioning her illness. I was saddened to realize that your kitty had passed. I have observed how you and many others here speak of your "babies" and the love is evident. I know you must be going through a very difficult time. I pray that the pain in your heart will heal and that you will eventually have peace and understanding. Take care.

Hi everybody! While I personally don't like Matt's game play style, especially with the lie about Stacy, he is beginning to grow on me. Did I just say that? He has mastered keeping his personal feelings out of the game and plays to factual (sometimes manufactured) logic as his reasons. He just may take this all the way, especially since Brenchel have no clue about the Brigade. Funny how Matt seems to have convinced Brenchel that they turned on him versus the opposite.
So confused...Matt says he wants Brenchel in the jury house, but then says he's going to backdoor Brendon...
I give it two days before Rachel explodes all over everyone.
One of my favorite expressions is "paranoia will destroy ya" If Rachael isn't careful this week I could see that happening.
So sorry for your loss MissFitz-My parents recently lost our "family" schanuzer it is so hard :(

You are more than welcome, and as an animal advocate I understand your pain. I know the support group helps. Sometimes I retreat from this comment blog because of the hate and continuous judgement towards HGs... then I have to remind myself it is a Game. Nothing in this Game equals the loss of a loved one, of any kind.

Good Morning. Make sure to stay away from Bonnie will you. I am also wondering about Andrew... not being able to play for P.o.V. I really think the AGP takes this into account since they can't discriminate without fury coming down on them... and the competition may be held after sunset tomorrow.
As for Matt... I am no longer a fan... he is carrying the lie about the disease too far. And I also can not cheer for one of my favorites, Ragan, unless he stops being so freaking gullible. I want Ragan to go far but this thing with Matt is not pretty and he will look at it outside and be hurt since he is so sensitive.

Honestly, while I don't agree with Matt's lie about his wife, the Melorheostosis Association should be glad that more people actually now know about this disease. I'm sure they do need the money, and at least he said he'd donate some. At least they get something out of it.
I'm a firm believer that lies of any kind told in the house don't make the HG a worse person. Game play is game play in my opinion.

I was so mad last night. Just as the HOH comp is ending my computer freezes. No feeds, no dish :( NOOOOOO! Restart the computer, nothing. Reboot, nothing. Frustrated, very frustrated. Check the modem and the DSL is blinking red. Unplug the modem plug it back it, still red. Really annoyed now. Unplug it again. Ok, got a connection. Turn the computer back on. Wait for internet to load, waiting, waiting, nothing. Want to scream. I need to know. It won't work. Go to bed but can't sleep. Get four hours sleep, work all day and still have five hours to go. I got home plug it all back in got on. Wrote this all out and hit publish and it froze, so of a... Call AT&T. In the mean time I get back on, then disconnected again. Automated tech support, get cut off. Finally get a human, dianosing and the phone cuts out UGH!!! He calls back and says it seems to be fine, might be the phone.
This time I saved this before trying to post.
So, how was your day :)
Very funny that Matt won. Haven't read up on the deal with Ragan yet. I'll talk to you all tonight, twelve thirty or so my time, if anyone is still up.
