Thursday Cat & Mouse
Good Afternoon, BB Lovers!! Wakey, Wakey Houseguests!The feeds went to trivia at 10am, following a nice Live Show Day sleep-in for the houseguests, and as of 10:12am, we have a wakeful Porsche and Rachel. Porsche hits the Shower. Rachel nourishes and studies..
Thursdays are typically pretty cat & mouse on the feeds, with production being the cat and us the mouse.. and for me, well, I need to save my cheese chasing energy for when the feeds aren't a big tease fest.
On Thursdays, they wake the HGs, the HGs grab some breakfast, head up to HoH for the lockdown, come downstairs, get gussied up, have a tech rehearsal, get gussied up some more.. and then Grodner locks us out to make sure we all tune in for the live show.
As of last night, Rachel and Jordan were firm on keeping Adam. Could things change over the course of the next few hours? Could there be a big explosion? Will Shelly make a last minute attempt?
It's all very possible, but right this moment, I've got to look forward to the night ahead, the live eviction, the new HoH, and being here and coherent enough to cover that for you!

10:32am As I leave the HGs to their own devices and you to monitor their madness, Porsche's still in the shower, and Rachel and Jordan are studying in the purple room. Jordan is coming up roses.

I know I am out in the boat all alone with this but I cross my fingers and hope that Shelly got a secret power from that fortune teller..(I know..not likely). I just think though many might not like how she has done it, she has been playing the game since week one, unlike most of the other. Her and Rachel are the only ones who have. Even Jordan, ( I love her to pieces) floated along on Jeffs coattails til he left.
Sooo....even though I may not agree with all her strategies, I really like that Shelly has ALWAYS played the game...she deserves to win...in my opinion...either her or Rachel!

I hope some of Jordon and Rachel's friends and family heard Adam's monologue last night and marked down the flashback time.
If they ever have regrets about how they acted in the house or ever worry about what people thought about them, or even if they are just having a bad day, what a nice thing to listen to.
Jordon was ashamed of herself for losing her temper and thought she embarrassed herself. I think Adam let her know how it looked to most people looking in from the outside and that she has nothing to be ashamed of.
And Rachel...worse than having people think she was mean last year was, in my opinion, having people think she was a joke. And just a short time ago, when Brendon first got evicted, she was saying she was stupid, she couldn't do anything right, she understood why America hated her because she hated herself. What a joy it would be for her to hear the way Adam was talking. To know that someone who did not trust her and found her somewhat annoying now says she is a sweet girl and says that he respects her, not only as a competitor but as a human being, would do wonders for her self esteem.
I live for the drama, but I love the moments like this when something good comes from it all.

No bashing. Like you said, I don't agree with the way she did some things, but I would never say that she has not played a good game.
As far as Jordon, she just doesn't have the killer instinct that's sometimes needed to compete. And I don't think she cared about winning. She wanted it for Jeff. Now that he is gone I think she wants to get to the end for her AND Jeff and I think if she's not in one of those chairs, she definitely wants Rachel to be there. I don't know if their friendship will survive across the miles, but it's been nice watching the two of them become so close.

Well, I signed for for the live feeds from your blogspot! For the FIRST time in 13 seasons! I say Goodbye Shelly, I lost my fight for her when she told Jen and Rachel that "if" they kept her she would throw the last comp. to them! I say BS Shelly, lie, lie, lie....she has one alliance, with her family! THe vets did NOT ever lie to Shelly and she knew she would have to fight it out in the end, Shelly would've had that chance if she didn't back stab and fight the final 4 or 3 with Jeff and Jorden and kept an honest game. Thank you in advance for the live stream! I'm preempted by football and this BB13 is not one to read about on twitter!! <3

Well let's look at who you hurt along the way. I guess allowing EVERYONE in the house to finish All your sentences is no big deal. And jumping ship continually only reflects a lack of back bone, again no biggie. You say you turned your back on Jordan but I would have to remember all your votes where Jordan was vulnerable and frankly I can't remember any so it must be when she was hurting from what Shelly did and you were nowhere to be found. Again, no biggie I guess. You were never her confident. So what's left? For me it was only your shadiness in the WAY you kept jumping ship, with your justifications to the HG resembling a flow of consciousness where you mused about "why did I back away from you when you were the most honest with me. Why would I ever do that in the future when you showed me how upstanding you have always been with me" Or the way you make an agreement to not exactly keeo you safe when I am HOH but"I owe you big time" as if these two were equivalent. Ah well, I suppose that's not a biggie either. So all in all I guess you do deserve the money. However I take it ALL BACK if you screw Jordan and Rachel next week!
@Dublstuf- I almost agree with you most of the time --- but then i think / eh. She has money and is super two-faced, Rachel deserves it more and so does Farah for putting up with the back hair. But i get your point and have moments of belief. A Super Power would be Super fun though :-)
I dont thing Jordan has coasted, while some say they gave her the HOH how do you know what bredon and jeff would have done had they tried. Jordan plays a great social game making everyone love her and not want to hurt her feelings. It worked last time so...I guess game play is in the eye of the beholder lol. Shelly has played a game, not my kind of game but she has played. I dont agree about Jordan. Some say they threw her the HOH but who knows what Jeff or Brendon would have shot. She was second against K and she plays a great social game. Everyone trust her doesnt think she is a threat and doesnt want to hurt her feelings. Her season she won comps when she had to and she is 500k richer for it. Personally I think Rach is playing a hell of a game now that the F word is gone. I hope everyone has a terrific thursday!
On second thought Adam, you bobbing and weaving and float-ing like a butterfly had NO STING LIKE A BEE, so I can not in good faith give you the money.

@Dublstuf no need to bash away. You have a right to your opinions just like all the rest of us. That's what makes the DISH so special, we all respect each other (well most of the time on our own and sometimes with a little nudging from Caro or Genie, lol).
I am always torn on Shelly. I agree with you that from day 1 she played mad game and I loved every second of it. Then she crossed the line for me and I was no longer a fan but I still appreciate her brain, how fast on her feet she is with her articulation and persuasion skills.
I was so anti Rachel last year and for much of this year but after Brendon left I have seen her mature and/or I have seen the real Rachel when Brendon is not controlling her and impacting her self esteem and when she is not being threatened. The bond she and Jordan are building is one that I think will last for life and I wish both Shelly and Rachel well when they re-enter the real world because both will still have to deal with the many hate mongers who are out there.
Caro, great TOR as always and I am finally all caught up on my backlog of flashbacks on the feeds from my vacay and delay getting back on US soil thanks to my BFF Irene :-)
Rachel & Jordan the female dream team Of Big Brother. Shelly is to heartless to win. But I guess that makes a good corporate COO or Vice President. Swearing on her kids and family to stay in the game. Soon as someone does that I know they are liers. Can't wait to see her gone.

I just love HOH lock downs, nothing like paying to watch 6 people sleeping in one big awkward room.
Can't believe Shelly was lieing to Jordan again (right to her face). All that crap about if someone did that to her daughter. Nothing but lies. A few ppl said that they thought that CBS would give SH a good credit, how? There is none.
Each are playing the game in their own way, it's just ''who's'' game is liked most and least by the fans, in my opinion. I don't think it's fair or correct to say Jordan hasn't been playing the game. She absolutely has been playing and makes it look effortless, which is why it may appear she has merely been riding someone elses coat tails. Together..JEJO make a terrific and complete gamer. Rachel is now benefiting from Jordan's abilities and coaching.

Hey All,
I was looking back at some of last nights feeds and came across K and P "studying with the Bible". They were using the page numbers as day count in house and placed Day of the Week stickers on the pages. The stickers were from Birth Control Packs. Rather clever of Porsche, IF she thought of it. I know she requested the Bible to use to study. As much as I am repelled by her constant need to put down others in order to feel better about herself I have to say I believe she is more intelligent than others may suspect. I think she has more "street smarts" than" book smarts" but she has very sharp moments every once in a while. However, she makes me queasy with her hateful comments and questionable "acts of having fun". (ie she put fiber stuff in drinks they all would drink and apparently production made her get rid of it. I have heard her bemoan the fact that "no one wants to do anything Fun"}. Just shaking my head.
I have to get this off my chest. Kahlia obsesses over other peoples hair she encounters throughout the house yet she (as well as all the other girls) compulsively plays and pulls at her hair then she just extends her arm and blithely drops "her hair" just about anywhere it suits her. Does she not realize she will be picking it up on her own clothes or socks or whatever? It is apparent she doesn't care if anyone else minds.
And also, Kalia is driving me crazy talking with her mouth full of food. Does she think every "pearl" she thinks must be uttered immediately? Countless times she is eating chips, cookies, whatever and just keeps on talking, no slowing down at all.
All this got started when some of the girls were talking about sitting on the counter when cooking and she thought it was unsanitary because "your butt is dirty". The other girls didn't mind it either way. She went on, at length as usual, about how she was raised that it was inappropriate. I was raised with that rule as well but I also was taught to excuse myself if belching in front another (she doesn't but said she will speak into the mic to excuse herself to production}, to finish chewing before speaking and ...let me stop. Shaking my head is all.
The final thought that has been bugging me with all the HG is their terrible habits in speech. I believe Shelly has changed her speech to mimic the others to blend in because when she gets going in a "sell an idea" mode she is more articulate. The others would be absolutely crippled if the word "like", "uh", "you know", and many others were banned. Oh, I forgot the many "F" words (but I throw a few of those so they may not phase me as much as others}. Kahlia is supposed to be a writer and she struggles as much if not more than many in the house trying to express herself. Yes I know there are also times she finishes complete sentences but they are the exception not the rule.
There is nothing greater than "100%" with regard to trusting someone or believing someone, "you don't" = 0% & " you do" = 100%. One Billion % doesn't make me believe someone more than 100%. I just think it's funny how the % changes by the degree of desperation or need to convince someone else. Cracks me up.
Also, didn't Adam get the bean bag in the corn hole twice during that Veto he supposedly was given? He seemed to be able to hold his own. (K and P were discussing the inconsistency of A not winning against Jeff in yard verses the Veto comp. I saw him win against Jeff a few times.} But what do I know, oh that's right, we have feeds so we actually do know more than K. and P.
