We always talk game, me and hayden, but it's never serious.. I would also be careful with Frankie. He's playing very very hard.  Everyone is showing their cartds to us, but they're also showing their cards to him.  I never want him to know what makes me most vulnerable.
Christine: He's dangerous that way.
Cody: The 5 of us are important to stick together.

Cody: If one of us turns.. That's the one reason I really wanna win HoH.. to protect us.  If 2 of us win, it's gonna show our cards.

Monday Morning in the Big Brother 16 House

Wakey, Wakey Houseguests!  It's time to get up and entertain us on the live feeds!  You did a spectacular job of it last night, and because you're you, we know you'll be equally as wonderful this morning!

Big Brother 16: The Overnight Report

Saturday afternoon at 5:56pm on the Quad, Joey had a brain meltdown, calling out Caleb rather, first individually, saying that he never came to her asking who she thought should go up as a replacement... then to a full group, rather publicly:

 "Hey, guys!  Has Caleb talked to you about who he wants going up as Donny's replacement for the Veto?  He's going around and making sure that it's a house decision?  Not his decision?  And I'm just making sure that all our voices are heard in that, ok? So the right person goes up on the block, ok? So I'm just making sure everyone knows that, ok?"

Big Brother 16: The Overnight Report

Good morning, BB Lovers!  Happy Saturday!  Welcome to the first real Overnight Report of the Big Brother 16 Season!☺  Grab your coffee, sit back and enjoy.

If you're new to BBDish, The Overnight Report is the signature thing around here.  The Overnight Report covers everything the HGs do from right around midnight BBT til bedtime..  I do it so you can sleep like a normal person and not lose your job, or flunk out of school, or be a zombie for your kids, and still not miss a thing from the Big Brother Live Feeds. 

You'll find camera numbers and times at the top of every conversation, so if you'd like to check it out in the flashback area of the feeds, and see it for yourself, you've got all the info you need. If you're not sure how to use flashback, here's a helpful guide I wrote up. And here are 2 moments from last night that you can practce with right away:

June 27th ~11:38PM Cam 1 ~ A cute Frankie/Caleb Bro-mance moment...dancing together! Including a couple of lifts! (start at 11:35 to see Frankie teaching Nicole)

June 28th ~ 12:09AM Cam 1 ~ Zach in the Hammock talking directly into the mic about alliances and his deal with Frankie, which is 100% legit for him..."We're gonna be the final 2, America.  Just you watch."

Caleb: I don't think you're gonna go anywhere.. At the end of the day, when this game is over, we're all gonna go on an amazing trip, and there wont be any hard feelings between anyone.  With me, I'm concerned that I'm seen as the strongest guy, so I'm a huge target.

Paola: I know your talent,  You can do almost anything.  Like, you can do hair.  I'm not gonna be like, I want you to save me, because I want you to get blood on your hands.  What did.. They said I'm not a threat and I'm weak?
Caleb: No.. They said there's another threat in the house that needs to go before you.
Paola: Cuz that's embarrassing that I'm perceived as weak.

Caleb: For the most part, I'm a grown man.. I could just pull her into the HoH Room or the Beehive and tell her how I feel.  I don't want a showmance, but when we get outta here, I'd like to take you out.
Paola: I'm sure she'd say yes.
Caleb: I'm a go with your feelings kinda guy.  I would choose love over money any day.  Love is so hard to find.
Paola: I think if we weren 't playing this game, she would go for you.
Caleb: I mentioned it before, that I think she likes Devin a lil bit, but all the people around me we like, no way..
Paola: I think you should just wait a little bit.. Like 2 days.. And don't talk about fighting in front of her. Like that story about when the guy attacked you.. Honestly, maybe you should try to read the bible with her.  Have you tried that?  I think that would be really good.
Caleb: Outside of everything, I'm so attracted to her.  That's my family's number one thing: Is she a Christian?
Paola: I've never met so many women as in the house, like beautiful inside and out.  She honestly to me is like super perfect.
Caleb: Oh yeah.. Even when I saw her in the gym (during hotel sequester), I was like, Oh G-d, please put her in there. And then when I saw her, I was like, Oh Yeah..  I like her background, I like what she looks like, and I like how she looks at me.

Paola: You wanna wife her up.
Caleb: Yeah.  I don't lust after her..
Paola: Amber's the girl who you want to take home to mom.
Caleb: Sex ruins relationships.  I would try my hardest to not do nothin' with her until I married her.. Unless it just happens.  I would like to wait for that.

Big Brother 16: Power of Veto Spoiler

Good Afternoon, BB Lovers!  Caleb, Donny, Paola, Cody, Zach and Victoria are currently doing battle for the coveted Power of Veto.

As soon as the feeds come back and the HGs reveal who won that shiny gold medallion of safety and power, I'll let you know right here!  Long Time Feeders:  You're not having a problem.  They're showing us the Jeff interviews on a loop, instead of having us on BRB or Fishies during the PoV Comp.☺

Donny and Paola are on the block, so they'll be fighting hard for the win.

Caleb, the HoH,  is a self-professed never-throw-anything competitor who would also like to see his nominations remain the same.  In a conversation this morning, covered in detail here, we learned that Caleb and Frankie, and to a lesser extent Devin, believe Donny is a huge threat to their games.  They see Donny as a secret genius, and likely a doctor, pretending to be a good ole boy.  

In the event Donny wins the PoV Comp, Joey is the plan for the ReNom. And, of course, all of this is subject to change a dozen or more times over the next 6 days before the live eviction.  It's Big Brother, after all.

4:18pm  DONNY Has Won The Power of Veto!!  It was the Spelling Comp, and Donny won it with Splinters.

 While the HGs need to change their target for the week, a great many of the fan base are dancing for joy!  Week 1 was just way too soon to lose this guy.

Caleb is making the rounds, seeing how people feel about Hayden going up as a ReNom, in order to get rid of Pao Pao and not make it look like he's going aftger the girls exclusively.. Interesting..  Joey hasn't fallen completely off the radar, but she's not the prime target right this second.

Big Brother 16: Friday Morning in the BB16 House aka The Morning Report

Wakey, Wakey, Houseguests!  It's time to get up and entertain us on the live feeds!  So far, you're doing an incredible job!

BB woke the HGs a few minutes before 10am.  At the moment, most of the guys are gathered in the kitchen, eating and chatting about the bizarre dreams they had.  The women are in the bathroom, showering and going about their morning routines...

Amber is a wee bit too tall for modesty in the shower.. Unless someone tells her, expect a lot of oopsies on the live feeds..

10:11am Caleb comes into the bathroom and gives Jocasta a side hug as she's brushing her teeth.  They chat a bit, then BB calls Caleb to the DR.

Happy Chatter in the kitchen is centering on the PoV comp we believe will be happening today, how their google references are about to soar, how googling Joey will now bring up nudes, how every season there's a new power, and their's will be a Power of Glitter (joking), in honor of Frankie.  And a Devin led group sing of the ABCs...

We can see the memory wall, and the images are not animated.. yet.   Chatter is all over the place..  Lots of smiles and laughter..

Big Brother 16: How to Re-Watch Anything on the Feeds Using the FlashBack Feature

If you're new the the Big Brother 16 Live Feeds, and you're wondering How to use the Flashback Feature, so you can re-watch any and every key moment you've missed and really make the most of it, here's a super easy guide to get you on your way! 

1. Click the Calendar Icon.

2. Select the date.

3. Select the hour and minute.

4. Choose which camera.

5. Click Go!

 Here's what comes up on Camera 1 on June 26th at 10:03pm.

Throughout the season,you'll want to find and re-watch funny moments, intense plotting, blow-ups, random streaking events, you name it...

It's all available when you use the flashback feature.

You can see the date, time and camera on this screencap.  Now give the flashback feature a shot, and see how easy it is! Feel free to refer back to the 1-5 steps above.

Big Brother 16: Overnight Lite

☼ Good morning, BB Lovers! Happy Friday! What an excellent first night on the feeds!  Absolute mayhem in the best possible way.  2 non-awkward totally funny streakers in within the first 5 minutes of feeds?  I'm tickled.  The looks on the other HGs faces?  Priceless.

If you went to bed early last night and you'd like to see the full monty, it's well worth watching when you get a chance. Just use the flashback machine!  The time stamp is right there on the pic for you.  For Caleb's streaking, go to camera 1. For Joey, camera 3.

And Frankie Grande is the Big Brother 16 House hugging machine.  Everybody wants some!  Check out these caps that @BigBrotherLeak got.  You can click the images to enlarge them.

Trying to keep up with and transcribe every conversation on the first night is an exercise in futility, and the fastest way to an aneurysm, so today, I'll  sum up the finer points, and true BBDish style coverage will begin very very soon.

First, game details:

• The Battle of the Block, aka BoB, has already been played and Caleb is now the sole HoH.
• BoB replaces the Have Not Comp, but not Have Nots, as players are still chosen (or volunteer, in Cody's case) for a week of Have Not Room and Slop misery. 
• Paola and Donny are on the block.  Donny is the target, although Frankie is making subtle moves to change that.  Devin and Amber would prefer Donny stay too.
• PoV will be played today, and the players are:  Caleb, Donny, Paola, Cody, Zach and Victoria.

Watching the Big Brother 16 HGs on the feeds last night and hanging out with everyone in the BBDish chat room (on the feeds) was such a treat. ☺ 

Observations:

• Caleb stares.  A lot.  Caleb has it bad for Amber, but the feelings are not reciprocated. 
• Hayden is the house head massager, from one woman to the next. By the looks on their faces, he's good at it.
• As far as I could see, everyone in the house LOVES Frankie.  His social game is fierce, and I'm not surprised.  In BB as in Life, a smile, eye contact and hugs go a long way.  Tonight, we watched Zach profess his (probably platonic) love for Frankie and his jeans, and they struck up a final 2. It's week one, boys. ;-)
• On the Caleb Bigotry Watch front, I have nothing but good to report. I observed no red flags at all in his talking with other HGs. Not a one.  Quite the contrary, in fact, as he appears to have a true bond with Frankie. He even invited him to share his HoH bed.

While WE are in a honeymoon phase with the HGs,  the same cannot be said for them.  Devin had a blow up sometime before the feeds kicked on, and he is now perceived as volatile by many of the other HGs.  To his credit, he's making individual apologies.  Devin has a very low tolerance for messy people.  He needs to get over that and fast.  Cody is also on the volatile list.  Devin would love to see Joey backdoored - my how things change in a week!

Derrick is advising Victoria to throw the PoV, so she doesn't have to alienate Paola by keeping nominations the same not saving her.  Nicole and Christine are so in tune, it's like they're long lost fraternal twins.

Tonight's the night, BB Lovers!  Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

The Big Brother 16 Live Feeds are set to kick on at 10:00pm BBT/1:00am Eastern.  Once they do, we'll all be watching intently to see if we can figure out who won the new BOTB Comp, or more importantly, which Frankie or Caleb, is no longer HoH.. Also, if the first PoV Comp has happened yet, and if so, who won that?!

OK.. Here's the dish:

Caleb's crew won the Battle of the Block.  PaoPao and Donny are on the block.  Frankie is out as HoH.  It appears the Have Nots are determined during the BoB. Also,  PoV players have been picked, the backyard is locked down, and the HGs are hoping that PoV is tomorrow.  Playing for PoV are Caleb, Donny, Paola, Cody, Zach and... Victoria.

I am loving this crew!

Within the first 3 minutes of the live feeds tonight, we had streakers!  Too funny! Both Hayden and Joey!  Hayden was buck nekkid, and Joey was in a thong.. running through the house.. boobies to the wind.. On some of the other women, it would have seemed contrived or show-offish, but with Joey, it's just plain fun. She's so comfortable in her skin.

There have already been big conflicts between Devin and Cody.. In a conversation with Zach, Frankie describes them both as volatile..  Alliances are popping up like cockroaches in NYC.. Frankie and Zach have bonded, and are also talking alliance..

OK.. I gotta tell you, I absolutely loved part one of the Big Brother 16 premiere last night.  The HGs are such a great group, and I thought the editing was brilliant.  My favorite sequence was definitely Dreamboat Cody -my name for it - where they flipped back and forth between PaoPao and Frankie in DR sessions, dreamy over Cody.  Adorable. ☺

I also loved the insta-bond between self proclaimed peacocks Frankie and Joey - and not just because I called it. ;-)   Amber's facial expressions, especially when Devin was mooning over Joey,  had me cracking up.  Also, Amber's throwing of the HoH Comp? Wow.. good thing she's a model, not an actress.  That was the most obvious throwing of an event EVER.

Devin.. Oh, Devin.. And Cody... Long may you both last.. I am going to have so much fun screencapping the both of you..  I'm pretty sure one or both of you is going to be America's Sweetheart this season.. Cody, Cody.. BB16: Happy Big Brother 16 Premiere Day!! Sneak Peek Pics and Videos and Viewing Parties, Oh My!

Happy Big Brother 16 Premiere Day, BB Lovers!!  Tonight's the night!! And so is tomorrow!

But first... I think it's time we take a much closer look at our BB16 HGs... Bravo, I say.. Bravo!

I hope to see you ALL here on BBDish for the Premiere Viewing Parties, tonight and tomorrow night.  The festivities will begin at 7:50pm Eastern both nights, so we all have time to say hello before the show starts!☺ And, of course, there will be doorprizes, so make sure you find your way into the comment section.

Then tomorrow night, after part 2 of the premiere airs on the west coast.... We'll have FEEDS!!!!  For me, and I'm sure for most of you, that's when the show truly begins.  It's just not Big Brother without the feeds. Can I get an Amen? ;-)

As you can see, this is much more than just a video, this is a monster spoiler, in that now we know who the two groups are!  The group we're seeing in the Big Brother 16 Premiere Sneak Peek, which is quite probably the Wednesday night move-in group, is made up of Cody Calafiore, Devin Shepherd,  Donny Thompson,  Paola Shea, Nicole Franzel, Frankie Grande, Amber Borzotra,  and Joey Van Pelt.  

Naturally, it follows that the 2nd group, which will move in on Thursday night and compete in their own HoH comp, will be made up of Brittany Martinez, Caleb Reynolds, Christine Brecht, Derrick Levasseur, Hayden Voss, Jocasta Odom, Victoria Rafaeli, and Zach Rance.

Big Brother 16: 2 Groups of Eight and Early Bird Confusion

Good morning, BB Lovers! Happy Tuesday! Just 1 more day til the Premiere of Big Brother 16!!

As you know, we're in for a 2 night premiere this season, with part one on Wednesday and part 2 on Thursday.  The live feeds will kick on at 10pm BBT, after the west coast sees the Thursday premiere. If you're keen on getting the best deal on the feeds, I strongly encourage you to get signed up sooner rather than later.. You'll see exactly why below.

Rumor has it that...

...the new houseguests will be divided in to two groups of eight. During night one of the Big Brother 16 premiere on Wednesday, the first group of eight will move in to the house and the first HOH competition will be held. The following night, the second group of eight will move in to the Big Brother house and will compete in their own HOH competition.

As I understand it, the 1st move in actually happened during the daytime, and the 2nd group moved in several hours later within the same day, but through the magic of tv editing, it will be made to appear as if a full day has passed.  Still, I wouldn't want to be in group 2, with the others having had all that bonding time, would you??  I can't wait to see how this all plays out!☺

I hope you're all signed up for your feeds already, and if you're not, please make sure to get that taken care of ASAP.  If you don't have 2 minutes to spare right this second, then definitely before midnight on Wednesday the 25th.   Ya see, I don't know what time the price is going to jump.  The wording about the 26th  left me a bit confused. When is the Big Brother 16 Finale? The CBS Fall 2014 Premiere Dates Tell the Tale

It's one day til the Big Brother 16 Premiere, and we're all giddy with anticipation!

There's still time to get all your shopping done, kiss your loved ones goodbye, and take advantage of the 23.99 Early Bird Special on the Feeds, which will disappear in the blink of an eye...  we're thinking the deep discount ends tomorrow, Wednesday, June 25th.

It's a little odd to think about the finale before the feeds even kick on, but the more we know, the more we can figure out what might happen when during the season, So... We always like to figure out when the Big Brother Finale is going to happen. Generally that's kept under wraps til at least half way through the season, but thanks to a CBS press release today, we may just be able to get a handle on it before the premiere even airs.

My initial official prediction for the BB16 Finale is Wednesday, September 17th, which is what I thought before this press release came out, but it's nice to get a tiny bit of confirmation to support my theory in print. Nix on Thursday the 18th, because as I understand from Pauly the BB Guy, CBS is airing a football game that night - Buccaneers v Falcons.

However...  As pointed out to me on twitter by Dingo of Hamsterwatch, "the wrench in the works is that Thursday the 4th is the last Thursday show," because we've got football both the 11th and the 18th..

So.. Perhaps Thursday the 4th, or Sunday the 7th??

I've included the relevant days in the right timeframe, and it looks to me like the Big Brother 16 Finale will happen likely the Wednesday or possibly the Thursday prior to Sunday, September 21.  You'll also notice that unlike in years past, the Survivor Premiere is NOT the Big Brother Finale lead in..

Thursday, Sept. 11

7:30-8:25 PM/ET        THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL PRE-GAME SHOW

While Big Brother  does regularly air on Thursday nights, football preemptions are nothing new, and while it's possible we could have the finale before September 11th, I really don't think we will.  Do You?  I just can't imagine them ending BB with 2 weeks to go before premiere week.

Rather, I think it will be the week before Premiere Week, which begins September 21st.

Big Brother 16: The Endless Possibilities of the New Memory Wall

Happy Sunday, BB Lovers!☺  The Big Brother 16 Houseguests moved in Friday night, so the game has officially begun! May the best player win!  I'm expecting the group publicity pics of the HGs poolside to be released either today or tomorrow, and I'll get them up here on the blog ASAP when that happens. ☺

I am SO happy to see so many returning faces in the comment section, and meet so many new people, as well as people who've been here for years and are only just now making comments for the first time.  Welcome home, everyone!!!

If you're new to the feeds and wondering why they didn't kick on the instant the HGs entered the house, allow me to explain.  It's a little thing called Big Brother Premiere ratings. ;-)

This is one of the only times we'll be fully in the dark for the rest of the summer, and that's ok.  There will, however, be mad speculation and baseless rumor spreading, running the gambit from which 2 HGs won HoH to some HG having a total meltdown and fleeing the house...  I prefer to wait for facts, thank you very much.

A very cool thing I heard is that this year, instead of still photographs on the Memory Wall, there will be moving images, a la newspaper photos in Harry Potter.  Cool, right??

The possibilities are truly endless with the new memory wall.  I'm hoping BB uses it to really mess with the HGs.  I'm envisioning some unsuspecting HG studying the wall late at night, and BB having all the faces turn to glare at the HG with menacing scowls, pointing fingers, evil laughs..

OK.. time for me to re-watch and re-listen to all the interview videos.  I am determined to have all of their faces and voices memorized by the time the feeds kick on this year.  Why? It's really helpful for transcribing.  Otherwise, I'm tempted to refer to them as Cute Blond Boy, Massive Zit Girl, Hope That Towel Falls Off guy, etc..

Big Brother 16: Special Treats, Dropped Towels and Your Family's Final Weekend

Hellooo, Mr Calafiore. Mmm! mm mm mm

Happy Friday, BB Lovers! This is your last weekend to fully devote to your friends and loved ones. Make it count!  Coming next weekend, and for the rest of the summer, you're all mine, and I'm yours. ;-)

It was great to meet all the Big Brother 16 houseguests yesterday.  I love the whole getting to know them period on the live feeds.  I wonder...   How they'll manage the twist? What kind of people they'll be under pressure?

How often Caleb, Cody, Devin and Zach will insist on wearing clothing instead of merely towels?  Who will lose their mind first? Who will hook up with who?  Whose game will knock our socks off?  Who will rise to BB legend status? Not every season has one of those, but I bet ya this one will. :-)

Big Brother 16: Meet the Cast of Houseguests!

Good afternoon, BB Lovers!  As promised, today is Reveal Day for the Big Brother HGs!  Go get a nice tall glass of water and put on something comfy, 'cause you're gonna be here a while.☺

I'll be posting the pics and brief bios in this post, and doing several features with as much as I can dig up over the next  couple days.  Some HGs have more info available than others.  In the case of Frankie Grande, brother of superstar singer Ariana Grande, I could provide hours of entertainment! But I hope this fun post all about him will tide you over for now.

**Even if you don't know Ariana Grande by name, you definitely know her tunes.  Here's one that was used in a BB16 commercial!  Cheeky little hint they gave us, no?? ;-)

OK.. now that we've cleared that up, let's meet our HGs!

Big Brother 16: Ariana Grande's Brother Frankie is in the House!

Frankie Grande is our first featured Big Brother 16 Houseguest! If the name Grande rings a bell, it's no coincidence.

Frankie is Ariana Grande's brother, and he is a hoot! The live feeds are gonna so FUN with him in the house! Make sure to get in on the Early Bird Special before it goes away.

A successful broadway performer and youtube star, Frankie is already quite well known in his right. Check out these videos of him. I promise you'll thouroughly enjoy them!

While we're doing the warm fuzzies, I want to let you know that Sunday Show Viewing Parties this season are going to be THE place to be.
